I removed it, peep. There's a board for your political crap. You may well find yourself the moderator there if you run for election.
e-Y: The NFL penalizes for "taunting". Careful.
Perhaps Mr. Jung has been outfitted with a safari helmet and sent to the deepest, darkest bowels of China in search of Alan Rainbird. "Dr. Rainbird, I presume?"
Slip of the finger at a very inopportune time, e-Y
hasher: Just for chits and giggles, why not get Director1 as the second co-administrator? Just one proviso, he'd have to use grammer and spelling somewhere near approaching readable.
Oh, and e-Y, if you hadn't been such a pain in the butt over the years, you'da had plenty of friends. You had good points, but approached fanaticism in presenting them.
Watney - ROFLMAO!
Maybe someone's informed you of this already, rooster, but the post you referred to when you blamed hasher, once again, for trashing was referring to an entirely different stock than your beloved PTI. I suspect you're going to apologize immediately, am I correct?
Hasher: "The trick is to know when it's going to go back down." I know what u mean - I've got another one quite similar to this. Too bad I didn't know when that one was going to go down. lol
Otterman: That's no target - not even the wildest optimist could ever hope for a fin. That's the number that I got in on some 6 or 7 years ago -- the first pooning I took on this one. There were many more poonings to come. Hope today's little episode isn't just another one.
LOL, I remember when I first got in this thing about 6 years ago at $5.00/sh -- never thought I'd look at a dime and be thrilled. lol again
C'mon promoters, I'm sick and tired of my accountant laughing his butt off every year when he's reminded about this hole in the water. Lemme me make a peso or two and get the hell out.
Of course I've heard of friends in high places. I consider therooster and logman friends, and they live out in the Rockies. lol
LOL. In the words of the inimitable Bugs Bunny, "What a maroon".
I read your first two and last two words in your latest, peep. Oh, if only ........................
Watney - catchet/peep, same same. Don't worry, however, if history repeats itself, he'll either say something stupid and get punted or self-implode and place himself on self-imposed exile. lol
And as soon as a "PR" comes out, the TWO amigos take over for a while.
One BIGGER question remains!!! What the hell difference does it make????? It's all totally invenereal at this point, is it not????
Ferchrissake, stop it already. Who cares?
If Walter makes a go of it, we win. If he doesn't, we lose. If there is a God in heaven, Balak will get his and get it prior to being able to sell his shares.
Man, do the days when we had 40 or 50 good people chatting back and forth, announcing birthdays, births of grandchildren, getting together dough to send one of our own to the first (and last) shareholders meeting, etc. etc. seem a long way back in the past.
Peep: It's said that the art of satire is to illustrate absurdity WITH absurdity. Man, you certainly do it well. So long as you keep those posts just shy of "War and Peace" insofar as length is concerned, and don't go out into right field with your anti-this-n'-that, you're actually one of my favorite entertainers.
Regards,
Forgot all about that -- I guess that leaves the duries to Al Borland. lol
I wonder if it would be possible to get Richard Dawson to announce the results of the various surveys. That'd be kewl.
SURVEY SAYS.....................
krw: It would probably do anyone who really cares a lot of good to give the man a call for themselves. But, some of the Q's that I asked included "Is the battery in the hands of a mfg'er at this time for evaluation?" If it is, he didn't reveal that info, all he said (that I can remember) is that he and Joey Jung are working on the prototype machinery to produce the plates themselves.
I also asked about the radio "interview". Was there any shares ponied up to pay for that production? No, there weren't. However, the outfit that put the show on the air is already in receipt of a large number of shares. Clearly, it would be to their benefit to get the information out there to others - even if it only results in a small rise in share price.
I asked if "Elbee is in any way, shape or form associated with PTI." (Y'all might remember that I am death on that SOB, lol). For a period of 6 months after Walter took over, he was treated as a "consultant" to answer any questions that Walter might have regarding the company. There was no mention as to whether or not he was paid during that period. Occasionally, he might be called on to answer a question or two, but there is, apparently, no further cord attached to that placenta.
I asked Mr. Walter if, now that the legal wrangles seem to be over, does he plan on staying on as CEO of PTI or is he moving on to greener pastures. He responded by stating that the success of PTI is his only desire.
I would have asked him more regarding the financing situation but, quite frankly, I'm not up to speed with that situation. So long as this thing climbs far enough out of the ditch for me to bail out with a couple of pesos, as some are fond of saying - "It's all good."
As an aside, I found a fairly unique way to settle the stomach when it riles up at the thought of all the dough lost in this mineshaft (at least unique in that it actually WORKED) -- I scratched a Mass. lottery ticket for 10 grand the other day. Yowza!
Anyway, give the man a call, he doesn't bite. Matter of fact, he told me that his Grandfather and several of his Grand-dad's brothers were once engineers of trains, including steam engines. That didn't THOROUGHLY give the man a pass with me, but it sure helped. LOL
mlf: Took your advice and gave Mr. Walter a call. Had about a 1/2 hour conversation with him and asked him some pointed questions not only about the battery, but about Elbee and the company's future as well. I agree with you that the man certainly sounds to be "stand-up" as well as devoted to the task at hand. The question at hand is -- is that enough? One thing's for certain, Mr. Walter's got a much better shot at succeeding than did you-know-who.
Best Regards,
LOL -- thin skinned little devil, aren't ya?
Thanks, Gamood
What's reticule?
Seems to me, Otterman, that the info provided in Hasher's last post was far from the repetition in the past that you refer to. For example, were you aware of the Slobogian character?
Folks here might not like even a modicum of repetition, 'specially when it is aimed at the PTI combine, but I see no reason to have open season on Hasher. You don't want to read his schtick? Don't!
That 4 mil in shares from Elbee to Snaper is, I'll bet, payment for the rent that was paid for with rubber checks. As I recall, that was part of the court settlement.
Everyone holding tight to their shares is impressive, but would be even more so if the PPS was a buck or so.
As far as Elbee not selling any of his paper over the years, he didn't HAVE to. He had all the milk he needed, he didn't have to sell the cow (cash cow).
Regards,
Pretty exciting stuff.
Got to say, that for as many shares as have been "traded" the past couple of days, a penny and a half increase is pretty bleak. I wonder how many shares are pouring out of the "treasury" to pay for the radio show.
By the by -- logman, your attacks against Hasher are really smarmy, to say the least. Enough, already, huh? This is the day in the sun you've been awaiting -- enjoy it. IMO (as you're fond of repeating), it will be short-lived. There are simply too damned many shares out there for you to ever even approach that which you've already lost, especially when each and every iota of positive news is met with a big sell-off. The company is its own Market Maker.
While I'm at it, wasn't that a bit Gestapo-ish by deleting a message from someone you don't like that simply wished the board a Happy New Year?
Thanks, Preamp, and the same to you and yours.
Regenerator:
I seem to remember seeing a piece in the paper recently stating that CA has mounting concerns regarding their wind turbines slaughtering birds. Perhaps those in the know might view AS's new venture as a cure for that problem?
Now, let's just hope that Elbee doesn't get his fingers into THAT pie.
sleo: Perhaps you could enlighten us as to the good news that has emanated from the hallowed halls of PWTC as of late. I don't think many are bashing the product or its possibilities, just the jerk who drove it into the ditch. If, after all these years, you cannot understand that, well, maybe it's best you don't post for "a very long time".
OT -- Hasher, I like your choice of flashing logos at the bottom -- specially the Red Sox & Steelers.
Otterman: It appears as if that "someone" is doing his level best to turn this into another Raging Bull. Ain't ha'ennin'. lol
Hi Caradoc, long time no see.
I guess the most abridged version of this soap opera would be that both Snaper and the new President are claiming ownership of the patent. The court case that was supposed to have happened last month has been delayed until January at which time a ruling on the ownership might take place.
Lawsuits are flying on both sides (Co and Snaper)and there is supposed to be a warrant out for Elbee's arrest should he set his leather-jacketed butt in the state of Nevada. Apparently he showed up to see the judge and turn over some documents fairly recently and didn't get thrown in the clink which leads me to wonder about the accuracy of the warrant claims.
There has been virtually NO mention of anything other than the reticulated battery for several years now. No NiFe, no MicroDry, no Pipe-link, no cash cow, no Ferrari, no kilts, no party, no nothin'.
You're about as up-to-date as I can get you, Caradoc. Have no idea which way the wind is going to blow this one, but with many hundreds of millions of shares authorized, it won't take much of a wind to blow it away -- IMO, of course.
otterman: At 3 cents per share, the buyers don't necessarily have to be big-time investors. Six grand will get you 200,000 shares. Hell, for the price of a carton of cigarettes, you can buy yourself 1500 shares or so of this dynamo, roughly 7 shares per butt. lol
What a true shame for the potential that this invention holds at this point in our history where oil is on the cusp of making and breaking entire cultures, to have the whole thing squandered by a walking, talking huckster whom, I believe, never really knew what he had.
Will be holding my nose and voting for Bush. "Liveshot" Kerry has done absolutely NOTHING for this state and I cannot begin to see his bimbo wife hosting State dinners. Probably the only reason people are voting for one or the other is because they dislike the opponent. A truly sad state of affairs. It's been some time since two honorable, capable men ran for prez. Maybe next time. What the hell, if the Red Sox can win the World Series, we can sooner or later elect someone with whom we're completely comfortable.
"The Day the Earth Stood Still" classic Sci-fi.
OT -- Sorry, can't help myself. Just for giggles, let's say the US is NOT the only remaining "superpower". Who's next
in line for the task? North Korea? India? Canada? If the US's handling of the inherited position of traffic cop to the world isn't what it should be, which country will do it better?
Which country will keep the peace without ruffling feathers? Which one can and will do it without loss of life and natural resources?
Is the US always right? Hell no! But, I'll bet the US is more often right than others would be in the same position. Unfortunately, until Michael Rennie and Gort swoop their asses down here and dictate the edict that we MUST get along--or else, I really cannot see where the free world has a lot of choices, given the mind set of some of the country "leaders" out there.
Klaatu - Barada - Nikto
And, if Hasher doesn't waste these posts, I'll do it tomorrow.
Well, if nothing else, the PR should result in some more lively conversation. It sure has been a while.
