Yes, a full day of trading...
Can't understand why YOUR specific Google didn't show you that on page 3, but your hit quantity is absurd... by an order of magnitude!
I liked this one on page 3 of the Google search:
Berean, your first (and largest company) link to a business partner... filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection on June 9, 2009...
Have you done any DD?
All the rest are just snapshots of the 66 pages on previous days...
Just stick to the facts please. Hype is my enemy.
66... The rest are all cached... do you know what that means?
Your Google link only comes up with 66 hits... not 19,800!
"In order to show you the most relevant results, we have omitted some entries very similar to the 66 already displayed."
Only off by 19,734...
What's the scoop?
Where is the short squeeze?
It seems more and more unlikely with each passing day that there is a naked short position of any size... and likely never was...
Do you really think they are waiting until the day of the dividend to try to cover?
At some point those that bow to the conspiracy gods will need to acknowledge that they were wrong... just days remain until the truth is known...
Please read the following BASIC Investopedia article before spreading manipulation theories on why you can't get filled... it is YOUR broker, not the MMs...

Title: Understanding Order Execution
Excerpt:
A Broker's Options
A common misconception among investors is that an online account connects the investor directly to the securities markets. This is not the case. When an investor places a trade, whether online or over the phone, the order goes to a broker. The broker then looks at the size and availability of the order to decide which path is the best way for it to be executed. A broker can attempt to fill your order in a number of ways:
So where is the short squeeze? Seriously...
If there was a NSS position of any size, there would be a squeeze underway, no? If there isn't a NSS position, why the dividend in the first place?
When did JD send you that Taki?
Is that date on your post correct, the 22nd?
"i welcome a *private* co. that is both
clean and controlled"
You keep saying this... we know that you believe the mothership is controlling EXPH's shareprice, but why do you consider EXPH to not be "clean"?
"TDA and Scottrade have halted buy orders because the certs are not being delivered when funds have cleared."
I think that is pure speculation. I know TDA WILL NOT give out a specific reason. What is your source of this information?
"5 Days of trading left until the DIVY!!!!"
So where is the short squeeze? Isn't chasing out the NSS the reason for the dividend in the first place? If there is no squeeze, then there is no NSS position... so why follow through with the dividend?
Can anyone tell me what I am missing here?
Yes, a $3.60 cent trade.
Must have been the mothership capitulating!
Here is a link to the top 100 retailers... I don't see any candidates in the ~100 store area...
http://www.stores.org/pdf/09Top100chart.pdf
It is very relevant for those that use TDA and are unable to buy EXPH...
More from TDA:
Here is an excerpt from TDA's response to my asking them why their site shows 507.5M outstanding shares of EXPH:
"Thank you for contacting TD Ameritrade. I apologize for the inconvenience you are experiencing. Again, I must emphasize the fact that this stock is a Pink Sheet stock. The information that is made available to our quote provider is not regulated. Being that there is no regulation on this information it is difficult for us to get accurate information. Each source that I have checked has different information regarding this stock. I have, however, submitted another work ticket to see if we can try to get this issue resolved."
This may or may not have anything to do with them not letting buys in the stock, but it may provide a piece of the puzzle.
"ETC is going private, and can get off the pinks"
One does not assure the other.
EXPH could get off the pinks too.
"who would sell at .0033 for a measly $26 (before commission)?"
Tax loss is much of this...
"I'm hopeing for an HGTV or DIY spot for the cabinets as soon as a pipeline to the consumer has been established."
If the product is being marketed to the retailers rather than consumers (as has been repeatedly posted here), why would this be part of any ad campaign or DIY spot? It would be transparent to consumers.
Welcome back Mr. Sykes! You intimate knowledge of the dividend process is very useful here, and I'm happy to see you posting. Thanks for sharing with the board what the majority of us do not know.
I honestly mean no disrespect, but I'd like to clear the air before your motives are questioned... could you please state for the record whether or not you are being compensated to post here?
Also, I'd like to ask if you believe that there is a large naked short position in EXPH at this time?
"However my (former) broker will not allow me to buy EXPH, though I can still sell."
Sounds like we both use TDA! :)
I also do not believe in NSS of any size here, but as I always say... stranger things happen. I just see the exact opposite market reaction that I'd expect if a naked short position of any size exists.
I'm still looking for your thoughts on this 4k (or anyone):
As far as the NSS theory... if there really were a bunch of naked shorts in EXPH... and there is a dividend coming in about 2 weeks... and these shares need to be covered by then... Why is the volume so low and the shareprice falling?
Seems that the trading reality does not support the NSS theory. Where is the short covering?

Aren't we expecting the announcement of a $1M Etc order by year end? Imagine what that will do to the shareprice as well as the desire to hold EXPH shares to collect the dividend!
I'm pretty pumped, it can't be far off. I really want to see how the NSS forced covering impacts the shareprice! My prediction is bupkis, but I would be very pleasantly surprised to be wrong!
Anybody have any more details about the dividend date? Has to be coming up quickly?
Better limit fills are called "Price Improvement"... please take the time to look it up...
You probably also want to research "The Manning Rule" (IM 2110-2)which went into effect November 11th...
"No more churning or overtrading the stock.."
Some may also call that liquidity...
Traders bought every share that they sell at some point, you know. They provide support on downturns not just resistance on the way up...
When EXPH downticks it is quickly attributed to NITE playing games... when it upticks, it is legitimate buying coming in...
Just curious, but where does legitimate selling fit in, or is there no such thing?
I hope you are right about NSS and we see a huge pop... but I think the NSS argument here is fantasy. The dividend should answer this question definitively as any NSS will have to be covered.
Taki,
Still wondering if you convinced TDA to let you buy shares?
"Well one thing is for sure it will not stop me from buying from Ameritrade.I will be calling orders in Next week."
Any luck buying Taki? I am also with TDA and would like to know if you were able to get any shares from them?
"Had nothing to do with critics and more to do with competitors attempting to slander/badmouth them. Shall I post the apology letters posted here and yahoo?"
If you are referring to me... I am not a competitor to Expo, D&D, or Etc in any way.
Crap answer from Ameritrade:
"It is a business decision, no specifics available. We judged it to be in the best interest of clients and the firm".
Major bummer on Ameritrade. I also use Ameritrade, and will try to get an explanation on this from them.
That was YOU that arrived late? I have to admit... I noticed! :)
If you could be so kind, did JD mention anything about meeting this year's target numbers?
Thanks for the update!
Was there a vote of any sort, or a discussion of one?
There was a lot of concern posted here about JD moving everything into Etc. I think this part of the release should pacify those concerned about that:
"Previously the company announced its intention to spin off its newly formed ETC. division into a private company. Up to an estimated 5% of Expo Holdings, Inc.'s assets may be transferred to the new entity."
Yes! Congrats on the return of the free board MrSparex!!
Anyone been following the story of what they are dubbing "climategate? For example:

What, if anything, does this do to solar and other green energy stocks?
