"English shminglish, i'm never going to go to England" - Homer Simpson, 1997
read the ibox and get comfortable, you might be here a while.
Yes I can. There are margin requirements for the trade which make it less desirable to short pennies, but certainly possible. One hates to tie up a lot of equity in margin, but if the downside is guaranteed, it can be considered a ROI.
Who knows, maybe it was Rayment's money that financed it, maybe it was you or I, maybe it was the mob. It is somewhat relevant whom they are involved with at this time, but it will become more important in the long term.
I agree, this is one of those stocks that would be nice to stick a few thousand shares into a time capsule just for the sport of it.
Robert
I agree that financing in general is a positive move, it was absolutely neccessary. I am just concerned 'who' put up the million and now controls or will control such a large amount of shares, if they are issued in fixed numbers or at fixed values.
My only concern is that it is not CD financing.
A convertible debenture financing which gives the lender $1 million worth of shares at a future date, often results in predatory tactics designed to lower the price, thereby giving the lender of the money many more shares in a much more diluted company. The lender is easily able to cover any negative position because his loan guarantees hi shares. The lower the price, the more shares he can cover. It is sometimes referred to as 'death spiral' financing and it is the undoing of many many penny stocks.
Does the lender plan on holding and waiting for the shares to increase in value, or short the hell out of the stock and cover with his promised $1 million worth of shares? At this point it could be either, thats my only reservation.
Either way, great short term trading opportunity has presented itself.
Robert
Hopefully the volume will attract a few more people to the potential here as well. Delta has attracted some attention and now needs to take advantage of it as quickly and effectively as they can.
Robert
Well, not to rain on the party as I'm thrilled to see that things are moving in a forward direction, it is impossible to predict much with the information released.
So they have secured a million bucks in funding, but what was the rest of the deal? Figuring that the current price was .0025 at the time of financing, a million bucks would be 400 Million shares. I want to know what the funding cost in terms of new shares, warrants, options, convertibles??????
All the diamonds in montana could be offset by floorless convertible financing as has been seen in hundreds of penny stocks.
I like the progress, but would sure like to know the whole story and not just vague details. The pps increase will not hold without some substantiation and details of what the heck is going on. In the absence of these facts, the increase is build on speculation and short term traders, which can disappear as soon as the next hot stock hits their radar.
They market needs more information to justify a higher share price.
Robert
ps. congrats to all those who are back in the GREEN on this one!
ty for your support. All stocks are shit, so no need for anyone to get nasty with each other. We all make our own trades and have to live with the results.

$42 when i first posted this one, now at $47.50
i think this would be a good long term hold although i'm not in it as i got too many other irons in the fire at the moment.

interesting news
De Beers gives go-ahead to Canadian diamond mine
Tue May 10, 2005 4:36 PM GMT-04:00
VANCOUVER, British Columbia (Reuters) - De Beers has formally approved the construction of a diamond mine at its Snap Lake project in Canada's Northwest Territories for C$636 million ($513 million), the world diamond giant said on Tuesday.
Snap Lake, which will be De Beers' first diamond mine outside Africa, will begin production in 2007, reaching full production of 1.5 million carats a year in 2008, the company said in a statement.
Executives of De Beers, a private firm that is 45 percent owned by Anglo American Plc said in January the company could spend nearly C$2.5 billion exploring for diamonds and building mines in Canada.
It has four projects in Canada: Snap Lake, Victor, Gahcho Kue and Fort a la Corne.
De Beers bought Snap Lake in 2000 for C$478 million and has faced a number of difficulties at the site, including keeping out water from the lake located over the underground mine.
so far so good, lol.
I play both. Typical $1 ticket ranges from a low of $24 to a high of $120 most commonly around $60 bucks. Usual ticket might be something like 1-4/1-4/All or 1-3/1-5/All or 1,2/1-5/All. It usually a very broad ticket.
Even the tickets i lose on have 2 out of 3 in the tri with some major longshot. I cash lots of $50 - $150 tickets which are the bread and butter of my wagering, but occasionally i snag a thousand dollar or better tri. Canadian pools make strategy a key on American tracks, usually ours are better payouts for me.
Tonight I played Lonestar, Woodbine, Stampede, and Northlands. With all the bad wagers, I ended up -$700. Not good for someone who makes a majority of their living gambling. ( I have come to expect +150 to +200)
Robert
Tell me about it. I had one of the worst evenings ever. I cashed 3 out of 14 triactors tonight and lost money on all 3 winning tickets, lol.
So far this year i'm hitting better then 50% of my Tri's and making about 30% on my nightly handle. Tonight didnt help my averages though. Tomorrow will be a big day, I will be disappointed if I don't take 2k from all the well dressed people. :)

OT: for basic notebooks, DELL is hard to beat on price, quality, and service. If you are looking for a specialized or higher end system, currently Toshiba is selling up a storm on some sweet machines.
My advice, go onto ebay and search for "dell coupon" and you will be able to find a coupon that DELL releases only once a year (it was about 2 weeks ago) for $750 off. These are limited coupons and they get snapped up fast every year, but if you didnt get one you can usually find one that someone else didnt use and is selling/giving away. With that coupon you can get a machine that will outperform everything else in its price range. (this is a dell USA deal only).

I think we all have a Psych degree. Mine is hanging in the basement office next to my Sociology degree and Comp Sci Diploma. Other than keeping the room looking spiffy if hasn't served me too well all these years, lol.

The number provided for Investors Relations on the Delta website for Alex Livak:
Alex Livak, Investor Relations
(718) 545-1810
has been disconnected. No forwarding number, no further information on record. I wanted to get the number for the TA, but apparantly that's not going to happen now.
At this point, i am not even prepared gamble on DMXP. It is going to take some serious effort on behalf of the directors to convince anyone that there is any legitimate operation, it appears there is not. A 200-1 reverse within the next 6 months wouldn't shock me.
For now, all DMXP consists of is a few mineral claims that they don't seem to be interested in developing. I hope they prove me wrong on that one.

I think there were more shares issued then just the ones disclosed in the last PR. I'm guessing more 'debt' was settled for shares and that those shares also found their way into the market. Chances are also that those selling the shares have access to more information then the rest of us, which doesn't point to positive things at the present time.
Even financing news wouldn't help buoy the price back enough i fear. With the share price where it is currently, it is extremely difficult for any company to get back into the 'cents' range. If they don't pull some diamonds out of their @ss of something just as tricky, this nosedive will bury everyone and leave no alternative but a massive reverse and start the whole schemola over again.
Has anyone spoken to the transfer agent to see if they will give up the current OS? I can't even remember who the TA is offhand, somebody operating out of a PO box in Vegas if i recall correctly.

My source tells me that the CTKH board is the most active board that is not currently suffering from mental retardation. I have no idea what stock that is or who posts there, but give that one a try.

How about a big 'SDFU' button?
Robert
lol, miami.
Robert
I will. Do you take checks?
Robert
I agree. Although its a pinkie and they are all scams to varying degrees, this particular one and the individuals involved are not the usual suspects.
If it were to be a scam, I would label it poorly executed. Coincidentally, the same label i apply to it believing it to be a legitimate business concern.
Robert
ahhh, Ralph is a personal friend of mine and although we have never specifically discussed the fate of any online inmates, we have discussed those serving 2 years less a day at one of our fine Provincial establishments many times.
Ralph is pretty forthcoming and decisive and not nearly as tolerant and patient as myself. I'm pretty sure he would flip the switch himself if he was able to.

Arnold is no girlyman, he's the terminator. He's not going to call.
No call from the Governor yet, tick tock.
Robert
say it again in English?
its not a war, i'm just yanking his chain a little.
If he could post and remainn within the TOU agreeement he would be welcome back here, but since he insists on violating it and refuses to apologize for doing so, he will sit in the jail until he gets fried. He's on the list for tomorrow and unless he gets a good defense lawyer his execution will not be stayed.
Besides, its more fun then having the same endless debates without resolution.
Robert
You have no rights here bitch. This is a privately owned and operated message board. If you don't like how we do things here take your swampy ass someplace else. Your not even a paying member so we wont miss you a bit. Get it???
The only reason we tolerate your ignorant ass is because you are entertaining and contribute to the page view statistics, lol.
Anytime you want to fuck off, feel free to wrap a rope around your neck, kick away the chair, and save the rest of us the agony of reading your wothless illiterate shit.
Have a nice day

next friday.

Quinella odds are calcualated on the Sega by multiplying the actual single horse win odds together and dividing by 2.
For example, 2 horses that are 10-1 and 20-1 would result in a quinella of 10x20/2 therefore = 100
Of course on many of the smaller odds horses the displayed number has been rounded off. Meaning that a 3-1 horse and a 10 to-1 horse may not actually pay 3x10/2= 15 it may pay anywhere from 12-18.
With the numbers provided in the races you displayed, the longest payout combinations were 20x30 which pays 300. There must be other times then when the numbers on your machine shift and display the traditional and more common odds scenarios.
Best of luck to you
Robert
oh my im so insulted boohooohooo. I think i will devote my life to posting on the message boards about how mean you are.
LOL. Your time and life are worthless, Matin owns you. Now get your swampy ass back to the sweatshop.
Robert
i din't catch it, i'll give it a listen tonight when i got some time. He has been criticized for lacking western business savvy.
Robert
Well they are some of the most entertaining ones here, especially now that he is in the jail. He doesn't know how to read or follow instructions very well so he is like a bumbling foreigner who can't communicate effectively. He kinda reminds me of Tom Hanks when he was stuck in that airport???
Except Hanks was in love with that cute stewardess and Miami has a hard-on for a short little bangladeshi guy. Different strokes for different folks i guess.
Robert
"How many time Robert has used faul language against me? What have you done against him? "
5 times, 5 fucking times you stupid prick. Aren't you keeping score?
Robert
When I was trading that stock, yes i did. Why don't you get MM to tell you the story in his own words of exactly what the relationship was between him and Matin. If you knew that, then you would understand MM.
Robert
