If a video is 600% more effective than a salesperson why wouldn't you use the video.
You too could probably figure out how to drive a car by watching a video.

Exactly! Hasn't Rory's message always been that you can't train a salesperson? Yet the excuse for no Oracle sales is that they needed more or better training material.
This doesn't smell good.
As previously explained, Oracle salespeople can't make any money selling fusz product. They won't be spending any time training to sell it and I agree that if it's that hard to learn fugedaboudit.
My guess is that, if in fact, Oracle asked for more material they are probably trying to extract information about the product from fusz for their own benefit. Alternatively, Rory is trying to kick the earnings issue down the road to the next quarter by dialing back the Oracle sales expectations. Either way it smells bad.
Seriously, Notificrm, notifiID, NotifiMD, NotifiEDU, NotifiTV, Notifietc,etc,etc,etc...
Keep your eye on the shiny new notifixyz and ignore those notifi's behind the curtain.
How about one notifi with an income stream?
Is anyone disturbed by the fact that every time we hear from Rory he's focused on something different. FUSZ has more initiatives than employees.
Or 3. He doesn't want to stick his neck out with a review of a product by a company that might not be around a few months down the road.
Can't wait to see the video. The clock has started. How long do you think it will take for you to post it?
My mistake, he's still there.
In my opinion it's because most people don't want to have to learn how to use a new program. Most people don't want to mess around with producing and editing video's. Most people don't make a good impression when they appear in video.
Anyone know what ever happened to that guy Mohammed somebody who was supposed to be a video genius who worked at NASA or someplace like that and was working at fusz? I don't see him on the website anymore.
At this point fusz couldn't buy lunch, nevermind another business.
Exactly! You nailed it.
What fusz needs to do is get Oracle to let them send a video to all Oracle customers about the fusz capabilities with a "buy it now" deal that would add the product to their Oracle subscription.
That would be a great proof of concept.

So they don't appear to be selling the crap out of this? So surprised.
Yes, I understand how exciting it could be.
If I could sell something like this every day for a year as an Oracle sales person, I might be able to buy a cup of coffee every day.
$120 annual subscription cost with 10% to Oracle = $12/yr @ 25% commission = $3.00 x 250 work days = $750/year.
On the other hand FUSZ gets: $120 x @ 90% = $108 x 250 work days = $27,000
Maybe the Oracle guys would like to sell some Girl Scout cookies too.
That certainly sounds good but doesn't Netsuite base license start @ about $1000/month.
Not sure that as a salesperson I'd lead with a product my customer could go someplace else and buy for about 1% of that amount.
My point remains that nobody at Oracle is going to push this product. They can't make enough from it to justify the time it would take to deal with it. It's just something to have in their back pocket if they need it to either get or keep an account.
I was addressing the Oracle salespeople metrics. People here seem to think that Oracle is going to actively sell this product.
As I suggested before, it's more likely that Oracle treats nfuz product like an app in their app store. If a client wants it, they can get it from Oracle without having to go to another provider.
It's a smart move by Oracle but I don't see them selling it. In fact the numbers are worse given the 10% cut that Oracle gets.
I hope the agreement allows nfuz to market directly to Oracle/Netsuite users.
How much time do you think Oracle salespeople will spend selling nfuz product? If a subscription sells for $15/mo x 12 = $180/yr that's split something like 75% to fusz and 25% to Oracle (180 x .25) = $45/yr to Oracle. And if Oracle pays a salesperson a commission of 25% (45 x .25) = $11.25/yr or .9375 cents/month.
Question: How many subscriptions does Oracle salesperson have to sell to pay his mortgage this month?
Imagine how much time it will take a Oracle salesperson to assist a user getting set up to work with this. I'd think they will probably just send them a link to a video for training. The economics don't work for this to be aggressively sold. If I were an Oracle salesperson I'd be praying nobody calls me about it.
Fusz better develop their own marketing campaign for Oracle customers.
I'd love to see good things happen here. I own the stock, haven't sold any and still have over 100% gain.
My fear is that Oracle only contracted with Fusz to prevent their existing customers from going elsewhere for this technology. I don't think Oracle expects to make any money on it. They just basically have an App store that lets their clients make their own decisions about features they'd like to use.
How much could an Oracle salesperson make by having existing customers sign up? Not much. Probably not enough to have to deal with any questions about how to use the product.
I understand the scalability Rory is looking for but with very few exceptions (your's being one) I haven't seen video's out there.
My fear is that just the way fusz says that 80% of potential customers walk away if they have to leave the video, most of their customers will walk away due to the hurdle of working with you tube and having to plug in the buy now stuff.
The whole crm idea sounds good but I can't for the life of me figure out why a review would take so long to complete. The only value I see here is the video tech and if they can't make money on that very soon somebody else is going to.
Good luck.
It seems to me that most nfusz users that create video will be using Youtube for that purpose. They then have to place the nfusz capabilities into the video. My question is: which will come first, Youtube buying fusz or Youtube figuring out how to do what fusz does in some other way? Any thoughts?
