It's possible the judge could just sit on it until the Internal Audit is disclosed, which could have happened.
"if the internal investigation is disclosed to the SEC, it may also be available to plaintiffs in class-action litigation. Courts have generally held that the disclosure of an otherwise privileged internal investigation to the SEC waives the privilege as to all other parties. That means that the disclosure of the results of an internal investigation to class-action plaintiffs may provide a "road map" for their claims."

Now that would be a good question for Rob to answer. He recently stated Uli was still under contract to Globetel...and now Globetel is thier customer....strange isn't it?http://www.investorshub.com/boards/read_msg.asp?message_id=17775776

Wrong again.....Rob Bleckman confirmed that was not true.
Email I received on Friday:
"Hi Danielle.
Crazy day as always.
Uli is contractually bound to GlobeTel and the Hotzone technology is
proprietary to GlobeTel, that's all I know. Someone else asked me about Uli
too, apparently something that was posted somewhere in German that said he
was forming a company with Larry Lynch? I cannot comment on his extra
curricular activities but Uli did not leave GlobeTel."
"Globetel is a customer of Trimax."
Trimax would make a nice acquisition for Globetel where they could purchase the company for stock. Or the other way around, where Trimax acquires Hotzone. Shell's being formed at it's best.
Seems to be about the time Business Wire was replaced by Primenewswire.
"Again, in light of Mr. Murch\'s remarks. This is why we resigned from your company as your outside media."
What I mean by holding the price up was my sell was at the open market. Why didn't they sell it at .36 or .37. they waited 5 min. to get .38.
What else can one say when the highest float test was about 100 feet.
"Additionally, we are becoming more involved in the development of airships that would fly at lower altitudes but exhibit similar functional versatility."
The news answered my question. "Seems like MM are trying to hold the price up."
"representatives of Raytheon Company presented a range of additional security solutions involving synthetic aperture radars (SAR), infrared (IR) cameras, and secure communications."
What kind of representatives...Sales. And why is this worth a press release?
The PR always lead to more questions then answers.
Anyone have any idea why it would take 5 min. to sell this stock at market price. Something don't seem right. Seems like MM are trying to hold the price up. My order:
Sell 6,000 Shares GTEM at Market Day
Filled 1,000 at $0.3800 - 03/14/07 10:13 AM
Filled 5,000 at $0.3800 - 03/14/07 10:18 AM
Nerd, I agree with you. Globetel announced its own formal internal investigation, it is possible the SEC may not have started thier investigation until GTEM finished thiers.
GlobeTel Announces SEC, Audit Committee Investigations, AMEX Delisting Decision
FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 6, 2006--GlobeTel Communications Corp. (AMEX:GTE) today announced that it has learned that the Securities and Exchange Commission has issued a formal order of investigation concerning, among other things, certain accounting issues, including the treatment of certain acquisitions and the valuation of certain intangible assets.
Additionally, the Company's Audit Committee has authorized an internal investigation into the same matters. The Company and its management intend to fully cooperate in both investigations. The outcome of the investigations cannot be predicted at this time.

4. Should a corporation conduct an internal investigation? This is one of the most difficult decisions that must be made in an SEC investigation. An internal probe has a number of potential benefits. For example, if the corporation decides to conduct one and disclose the fact of the investigation to the SEC, it may be able to persuade the SEC to delay its investigation until the corporation's own investigation is complete.
In addition, such an internal probe allows a corporation to assess whether it has committed securities violations, and whether it should actively defend itself in the SEC investigation or, instead, fully cooperate with the SEC by providing information about the violations.
While an internal investigation has certain benefits, it also has potential pitfalls. Once a corporation informs the SEC that it is conducting an internal investigation, the commission will expect to be given the results of the probe. To the extent that an organization refuses to disclose an investigation's results, the SEC may conclude that the probe has uncovered serious securities violations--and that the corporation's silence is evidence that it is not cooperating. The result may be harsher sanctions if the SEC ultimately decides to bring an action.
Well worth reading, the difference between a informal and formal investigation.

As posted this morning another reason why Globetel looks like a company on the run.
Went up on a 100 share trade the last trade of the day. It took a huge $40.00 purchase to get it there.....but better then 38 cents.
0.40 100 OTO 15:54:44
0.38 1900 OTO 15:39:11
A great learning experience. No one knows for sure how it will end, but everyone will learn something good, bad or whatever.
To me it looks like a company on the run. Everything they have is rented, no known patents and no profit. Lawsuits and SEC on thier back. When is this Mexican thing going to start? Like Germany? Like the Strat launch? Like the Stored Value Card. Like so many people who invested in this company because of the dignified Board of Directors they had a year ago, who are now gone? Right now my feelings toward this company are at the lowest point ever.
LMAO, This was once a company that had over 300 million market cap. Now they are down to this. Rob said office close to the airport!

"Mr Bleckman has decided that I-Hub may no longer be a true reflection of actual shareholder sentiment"
He's right, all he has to do is go over and look at the other boards to find the true shareholder sentiment (very little elsewhere). This board it the best reflection he has.
An investment on a companies potential is a good thing, just a matter of knowing when to hold them and when to fold them. Globetel did show great potential as far back as 2 years ago. The unknown is will they ever really have the potential again.
"Potential=fluff according to you guys is that not true?"
TRUE, unless PROVEN otherwise.
Best post of the day. Exactly my feelings enough of the talk, show the money.
That sounds logical. Wish this information actually came from the company.
Neither company has a license for any radio frequency in Mexico, so until the time they get one this PR means relatively little at the present time.
How are they operating the trial/test without a license?
2.5 LICENSES FOR THE USE OF RADIO-FREQUENCIES. All licenses for the
commercial use of radio-frequencies required for the operation of the Projects
Networks are granted by the Mexican Ministry of Communications and
Transportation only through public bidding processes. The Parties acknowledge
that at the time of executing this Agreement VPN does not own any rights or
licenses for the use of the radio-frequencies that may be required for the
operation of certain services to be provided by the Company. Therefore, the
Company will participate in any bidding process for the acquisition of the
required radiofrequencies. In the event that the Company does not meet the
governmental requirements, then VPN may, at its own discretion, participate in
bidding processes called by the Mexican Ministry of Communications and
Transportation, in order to obtain the necessary licenses for the use of
radio-frequencies by the Project Networks. All costs and expenses associated
with the Company is participation in the so called bidding processes, including
the actual bidding price for frequencies, will be paid by the Company. All costs
and expenses associated with VPN is participation in the so called bidding
processes, including the actual bidding price for frequencies, will be paid by
VPN. Due to the fact that, as mentioned above, the licenses for the commercial
use of radio-frequencies are granted only through public bidding processes, the
Parties expressly agree and recognize that VPN will not be liable or hold
responsible in the event VPN is not awarded with the licenses for the commercial
use of radio-frequencies required for the operation of the Project Networks.
Finally, the Parties expressly agree that in the event VPN is awarded with any
such licenses for the commercial use of radio-frequencies required for the
operation of the Project Networks, such licenses shall be of the exclusive
property of VPN, but VPN shall grant the Company the exclusive right to use such
licenses and shall keep such licenses current and valid for use, for as long as
the Project Networks remain in operation or until such time that the Company
obtains its own such licenses.
Nerd writes,"nothing ever remains the same. Your vision is clouded by whatever pain you are carrying."
As much as I hate to admit it, you are right. From the post made over a year ago change the following: With the potential dilution of a possible 10 million more shares hitting the market what will be the effect? Change that to 100 million more shares. Everything remains the same.
As far as the pain I am carrying: I will use your quote:
"My vision of investing is to make short term money, GTEM for instance, and convert that money to dividend paying stock or bonds." I was doing great until the K's took over the company. Made it so nobody can make any money trading. I am very bitter as I got stuck with some of these shares while going for a day trade....never happened before. I hate to make mistakes and I do worry about them.
First time I have seen a Contact: GlobeTel Investor Relations
(954) 607-1295, without seeing Robert Bleckman's name under it.
You don't think.......
When I made this post over a year ago, it was the present at that time and remains the same now.

Experience and lessons from the past.
I don't think there is anything positive about this company period.
Here is the last 4 PR. Show me where it went over .70.

It all depends if you want to make money in the stock market or hope for an underdog, longshot company like Globetel to make it. The only way money could have been made in this company was by daytrading or flipping it. I don't believe many longs are ahead, in all reality bankruptcy is closer then success.
It is reasonably clear to see after all these years they have no "leading edge technology" that they could demonstrate to anyone. A balloon going 100 feet in the air or the Hotzone wireless which has yet to have a location, (after all this time), where it could be demonstrated to potential interested parties. If anyone thinks they have a chance to land the Globetel/Blue Horizon Sacramento contract they are dreaming.
Like I said, It's sad the investing public (except for IHUB) has finally caught on to this company. Even daytraders have stayed away from this company as demonstrated in the last 4 press releases.

My original reply was to this post.http://www.investorshub.com/boards/read_msg.asp?message_id=17633533
Globetel still has a chance to land the Sacramento contract.
Lets just hope they didn't take the committee to see a demostration of the Mexico/Germany Hotzone and to see the Sunday strat test.
They may stand a chance to have them convinced they do have leading edge technology.
It's sad the investing public (except for IHUB) has finally caught on to this company.
Lowtrade, Thank you, appriciate the intake from one of the best.
"just concentrate on the telecommunications portion of it. Since this is where all their experience is"
And just exactly where is all their experience? Russia, Germany? Mexico has yet to produce. How long has Hotzone been around and how many paying customers?
Maybe their experience in telecommunications is when they got the phone to work in their new office. Don't even know that for sure. LOL
Lowtrade, what's your take on one of your old plays ERFW. Had many PR's and the price went down. No pr's in the past couple of weeks, volume above average and the price has increased from it's low of .10 to .16, How do you read it? Thanks.
des, Globetel has more important high tech priority things to do then show the Sanswire film in the US..... like getting their phone to work in the new office.
Justfrank, Here is slander: Globetel and all officers and directors are honest and trustworthy, there is nothing questionable about anything they do or have done in the past. The companies set up by Jonthan Leinwand are for the benifit of the shareholders and the company. All press releases from this company were true at the time and were honestly presented. Shareholder value will increase. Globetel has done no wrong when delisted from the AMEX and the SEC will find no wrongdoing that will have an effect on the company.
risk it Obviously the investigation into globetel was warranted by some action was it not?
Of Coarse it is.
I don't really know for sure if the SEC is really going after Globetel or looking into the market manipulation by the likes of BONY, insiders, naked shorting and the influence of reporters such as Seth Jason. If the naked shorters hurt the company's reputation in an effort to drive it into insolvency they would never have to pay capital gains tax, because they never bought the stock back. With the possibility of another 100 million shares hitting the market it would make it all the more reason and less costly to continue shorting the stock down to near nothing. Now could Caterham Financial Management be behind the shorting? Hopefully the SEC will find out what is going on should this be what they are looking for.
The SEC could also be going after Globetel for the same reasons Amex delisted them, in which the results could be very enlightening. If by chance the SEC finds nothing wrong other then the treatment of reporting assets, you will still have the above to contend with.
The only way for this company to survive is to perform like a good growth stock should and that can't be done with the tiny profit margins of Centerline. Something real big has to happen and happen this year.
No matter how you look at it:
"Naked Shorts don't kill good companies, good companies kill naked shorts"
"Explain exactly how the sec is an enemy of a small investor?"
By not looking into GTEM and other companies like this sooner. Why did they wait so long?
serious, I think your brokers are playing you. I have no problem buying or selling GTEM with my online broker.
