? What is this:
As for the buys vs sells - in stock trading, a stock is considered to be bought at the ask and sold at the bid. This, of course isn't true because every transaction includes a buy AND a sell. But the logic is that more trades at the ask indicates money coming into the stock or buying pressure. I apologize. I thought you knew that.
They are not in the ticketing Business. They sell tickets for one team on a shopify account. There is no AFL merch ..there is nothing. I didn't even see their name at any venue. They didn't even fulfill their contract with the AFL for providing tickets for every team. Maybe because they were not allowed per venues..who knows. I see no reason for the AFL to pay them anything besides what they sell in Oregon. Hell, the AFL won't be paying any of their bills in this current climate.
Why can't you just admit the obvious reality. It's just so fn' embarrassing to read what you throw down.
Nice! Thank you. I Remember that one now..and I definitely bookmarked it. It is also definitely buried in with the hoard...lol. That's a good one for sure.
I just checked this out:
The VooDoo won in a blowout, 53-18. There’s no mention of the game on what appears to be the Arena League’s current website, which has AI-quality summaries of the other seven contests.
Going into today’s bout, most everybody had it chalked up as a West Texas victory. While they did come away with the win, they did not look very clean in the process. Most everything was clean, but the recurring issues were mishandled snaps and penalties. There seem to be some timing and formation issues that the Desert Hawks just could not clean up; that will likely be the focus of practice this week. Otherwise, West Texas looked pretty good.
They had an AFL live stream tonight...and it's just getting worse(angry). Everyone is so pissed off. Honestly, I had no idea that it could be this poor of a showing..it's beyond comprehension.
I have no idea how you are determining what is bought and sold, for no software can determine that. Referring to consumer available information. I have said absolutely nothing about the share price as well. So why are you bringing that up to me? How about commenting on the AFL opening weekend. Would love to hear your opinion of such.
Yes, the Arena Football League is very...very...very...bad. I would love to hear your opinion regarding such. Please...
I already gave up(for now). F' that rabbit hole..lol. Maybe I bookmarked it. So I'll go through those rough 3500 plus at a later time. Not sure if they are in the "other" bookmarks section...or the "other, other" one...etc. I definitely know that they are not in my original bookmarks section though(at least). :)
Smart move. That's only a 5000 capacity venue...but it's clean. That is also the only team that Humbl sells tickets for. I heard the reporter state $20-$40 range...and if kids are free, that will fill seats(presentation). I would actually love to see something like this in small venues for smaller communities..and I see no reason why you couldn't scale and be profitable. These guys fkd' up everything.
??? I posted it...lol. Holy shit! That must have been my only foray and I missed the craziest bit of it. I have to find it...do you remember roughly when I did that...like year or poss.. month..lol. That's funny as shit. "Amazing" you say....oh boy..lol.
You're embellishing that..correct? I didn't follow that crazy shite' as much as others. No one actually thought that...or close to that. Right?..lol. I know many during that time were just naive and bat shit crazy...but still....
Oh yeah....and back to your point of "meme stocks".....same mentality. Though probably a lot more so.
Exactly. It's been very weird since Covid. The OTC has dried up(for other reasons )...and that crazy volatile mentality has entered the exchanges. If you're making money out of it great..but it is certainly not healthy for the overall market. It started @ 10, and realistically..this would be trading somewhere between $5(low note) and $20(high note). The dude's brand still has it apparently. The most important asset he has is his last name...and to be honest...he built that by building on top of what was.
It would probably be a very good economics piece if it remained neutral and non political. I certainly don't get it..but "it is what it is".
You may be surprised how many equities are used for just said purpose. Very large blue chips etc...
My concern with this issue is campaign activity(including financial)..always has been. Also why I remain steadfast on why the SEC used every possible means to legally delay the situation at hand.
I think it was a so called "meme stock" from the beginning...but agree how this bolsters such. I have to hand it to those trading this on either side(short/long)....I certainly don't have the balls anymore to handle these large profitable swings in share price. Granted..not always profitable..eh? Not sure how the winner/loser trading spread is going here....but these cats are crazy..lol. And if you are making money ..kudos.
I still wish it would just go away :)
I think using the words "set up" is far fetched. It seems that little to no effort was used in setting up anything. Zero national media coverage except for the Pat Mcafee show. He was polite as usual ;) ... but :
The Philadelphia Soul and the Arena Football League were mentioned as a topic in today’s episode of the Pat McAfee show.

What, the CAPS getting blown out or hockey playoffs on a Sunday night...in general?
They may not get paid. They do sell tickets for one team though....but not sure how that works out, as in, the money trail.
Rangers should sweep the Caps tonight. It would be better for the Caps' fans if such would be so ..lol.
They all will. I'm probably going to being ragging hard on the AFL tonight and tomorrow given all that I have seen and tried to watch. It looks like a rough 6 venues are appropriate and will be able to confirm after next week. There is absolutely no way the NFL Network could ever televise this.
This Arena Football story is insane. I received a DM from an anonymous source… see below.

We’ve been in camp for 3 weeks with no pay and trainer not not at practice.
Were promised apartments and food.
Arrived at a super 8 hotel in Jersey surrounded by prostitution and hard…
The largest attendance stats so far. The KATS @ a rough 5700 and Albany @ a rough 4800. Those are the better venues as well. The game later today is being played in a large venue..so will see there. The others...just bad.
The current game playing is super dead in attendance ...also. The videography is terrible as well. I streamed the entire Albany game while also watching other sports. It was actually OK..the stream lacked hard..but
The start is way worse than I expected. There will be more lawsuits I am sure.
Here is the nut:
Here is the whole article on this situation from Law360 in two parts:

Happy Weekend! A little joy from the past.....all eleven minutes:
This is where Louisiana Voodoo plays. They only had like one week to prepare....but holy shite'. Make sure to blow up that picture:
Here is the playing field for the Louisiana Voodoo vs. Philadelphia Soul.

-Albany and Nashville fields look like a AFL field.
-the cross bar nets and posts aren’t even level.
-the padded walls look rushed and ridiculous. #AFL pic.twitter.com/3gESOeHyLa
Always been like that..I know what you mean though.
They are definitely broke...or barley breathing at the least. They should get some cash flow going..and I don't know how many tickets were pre sold in some of the better venues. Paying Humbl may be a problem....and are probably last on the list.
Oh boy...here come the law suits:
Arena Football League contracts AAL2 team to play for Philadelphia Soul hours after giving release forms to former players
https://arenainsider.com/2024/04/arena-football-league-contracts-aal2-team-to-play-for-philadelphia-soul-hours-after-giving-players-release-forms-1/
Arena Insider has been in talks with individuals around the league accusing the AFL of similar claims and mistreatment. Their names will be hidden for privacy reasons and the story will be released at a later date.
The more chaos the better. Not joking..it will bring in more viewers. All the games are completely screwed up/skewed ...so they will have to add some out side "filler" team...lol. Love it.. It's beautiful trash.
It's literally a school bus...

Jeese...you can be pretty hard man..lol. The news has been consistently bad though...
I feel bad for those young AFL players that got screwed. That's not on Humbl..but still hurts them.
!Another:
According to a recent update to the https://t.co/vjAvN33jvH schedule, six of the eight games this weekend will be available. Only Philadelphia at Louisiana and Minnesota at Nashville will not be streamed. #AFLisBack

And here is the nut...need to find which teams are owned by the league...because they are screwed:
I can’t speak on every team, but it’s the league owned teams that are the problem. Some teams like Minnesota, Nashville, etc, are very well set up because they have proper ownership and operations.

BREAKING. A source with the Philadelphia Soul confirmed with @arenainsider that the Arena Football League has failed to: pay housing, pay staff, coaches and players and only paid one way tickets to New Orleans for their game against Voodoo but did not pay returning flights (1/?)
— Anthony I Carter (@acarter_TV) April 26, 2024
The hotel locked players’ belongings in one of the hotel rooms and refuse to release without payment. Story to follow on Arena Insider shortly.

PHILADELPHIA — Philadelphia Soul’s season is hanging in the balance hours before the opening weekend of the Arena Football League.
A source with the Philadelphia Soul confirmed with Arena Insider that the Arena Football League allegedly failed to pay the organization’s players, staff, coaches and housing. The team is scheduled to play the Louisiana Voodoo in Lafayette on Saturday.
The source additionally claimed the league only paid one way tickets from Philadelphia to New Orleans and did not accommodate returning flights. Management at the team’s hotel in New Orleans also allegedly locked all players’ belongings in a room and refused to release the items without pay.
Local police has since resolved the situation and the players retrieved their belongings.
Tristen Burnett is an agent representing Soul QB Joe Mancuso. He shared multiple posts on X, condemning the league over its handling of the situation.
“The whole team has been given release forms and kicked out of the hotel. They didn’t even have travel to Louisiana set up in the first place…Trust me I’m heartbroken for [Mancuso]. He has a flight in less than three hours back to his family and his belongings are being held hostage.”
Earlier in the week, Burnett also shared that head coach Pat Pimmel resigned and the team does not have a trainer or workers compensation in place.
“[Mancuso] has played in the NFL, CFL, and IFL. He knows how to conduct himself and handle himself like a pro. He is married and has a small child that he is sacrificing being away from in hopes to provide a better life. Embarrassing the [Arena Football League] wants to rebrand like this.”
The Arena Football League did not immediately respond to Arena Insider’s request for comment.
This remains a developing story and more details will be released as it becomes available.
Happy NFL Draft Night! :)
No shit..lol. It's embarrassing that he has to even state such.
Here's what it's supposed to look like...at the least:
