please
really posted that?
I must have missed it?
the question is why are you defending these crooks if you have no financial interest in the stock?
That's an unfair question, equally as unfair as I get when peeps ask me why I'm posting here (or elsewhere) with no position.
The funny thing is why would a previous "long" now adopt a new nick and profess no position.
Some kinda weird tactics switch.
funny...
for true, they had to cut it off somewhen.
Back "in the day," way, way, way back, in Jolly Old Aingland...matches between towns could go on for days. Willy nilly across the countryside. The government had to get involved, because peeps missed work, school, etc.
Not sure what you're saying, but will take a stab at a response. Yes, MMs can trade for their own accounts, even though they can't make a market. And yes, they can cover previous shorts. But new short positions are not allowed.
but, but, but... he works for major corporations and has very important friends...or sumpin.
roger, that
Maybe you missed Neiger's letter....
Yep, you have to call it in, and they have to call down to the trading desk.
On a regular issue, if they have a software glitch they'll phone it in but charge online prices. But not with a grey issue...
Even if your broker allows such, it's a strikingly bad idea.
lol...there's no bid, no ask on the greys...
"FLDs"
tears
Look at the post I responded to.
no, it can take several weeks, but it's stupid that they haven't even requested shares, yet.
there's no MMs at work here--it's trading grey
helpful bastages
really? well, I never...
Be safe, be well, have fun
saw that...
math teacher playin' da odds
Nothing I know of easy/quick. They're public, so maybe in their filings, but nothing jumps out at me on the Web page.
I know Choicetrade, and I think Lowtrades, but I'm pretty sure there are several others--they're the number 3 clearing firm in the US.
well said, and good point.
That's my understanding, hence easier to post "Penson," as in "any Penson-cleared brokers."
All brokers that use Penson should be handled the same.
Penson
At least it's got something--what that was Mariner thing? MCII? It never did squat, right?
Hence the aphorism:
Trade 'em--don't marry 'em.
you are correct--any POS can run.
That's why we trade 'em.
But to fall in love, as if it's the next Microsoft or WalMart or sumpin? That's just self-destructive to capital.
Couldn't hurt...
well, unless your brain liquifies and falls outta your head
hope so--be nice to see another one like that.
try 10 first, imo
lol, ok...carry on
More educated guesses?
Looks as though BP got it capped
300 went off at 3 and bid is creeping up
Well, looks like it won't hurt to wait a little longer. Maybe it will gain some strength.
or not--I guess Penson delivered to some whackers...
oh well. Maybe the company will PR sumpin'
I show 1.01 x 3.00
Sounds like some obscure fort, on the edge of the frontier...
How would that work, exactly?
