That explains frequency allocation immediately. They need that because they are getting all set to do proving flights.
Thank you ihubmoney. eom
I keep hoping for that buyout; but, there isn't anything to buy if there are plenty available frequencies for the same route. Another big air lines company could just request a frequency allocation for the same non-stop flight to St. Petersburg.
A company that already has planes that fly.
We really need Baltia to step up and tell the stockholders what is going on.
We were very solid at the .004 level; so, how did it get to this point. We need that successful completion of the mini. NOW.
Well than they didn't fail the mini; because the FAA could have told them that months ago.
flaflyersfan, that's an odd amount, the 10 million seemed like enough...so how are we going to get to that number. (rhetorical question)
The FAA may have a requirement to have a certain amount of operating funds before it issues the Air Carrier Certificate; but, we're waiting for proving flights and that takes a successful completion of the mini. Somebody on the board posted that thing about operating funds.
I know the following example is a lot less funds required for a license; but, it is a requirement.
In Florida to be a state contractor before they issue the license they have to have a letter from the bank saying that there is at least $10,000 in the bank account. It's different but sort of the same where actual license is issued.
Maybe that is why they did the $20,000 minimum for the 506(c) for raising 10 million and I think somebody already suggested this as a possibility.
wrong Freebird, it's this week...just had to post back he's mocking us.
I wish I had that entry point considering I could have a lot more shares than the price I entered. I hope you are very wrong about this going to .0009
Robo, first I checked the math for the market cap using the .004 x number of shares and that is correct.
I thought it could get up to .01 on proving flights and certification. We're at the very hardest part of the process at this time. (my hope)
This is actually a real airline company with almost no debt and no contracts with employees and no toxic financing and it will be easy for the company to buy back shares with their revenue as soon as it starts generating revenues.
I agree with the .04 to .05 too considering the shares OS were much less at the other price of .07.
Also agree with the slow and steady climb as revenues increase a BLTA builds its fleet. I hope for a faster climb...obviously.
I am wishing and hoping the FAA certificate will cause more people to believe now.
troyal, but do they post to get the pps to increase, and doesn't this feel different then the 2009 situation... do you notice any difference like it feels like it's for real this time and FAA pending decision is true.
Was there a website in Russian in 2009, did they have 3 flight crews doing recurrent training, just things like that does it make you feel like it's real this time? thank you in advance.
Do private placement people sell. do they post positive to sell since they got their shares at .02 something.

If Baltia has honor and integrity, then we'll see if Baltia is worthy of our investment.
people taking advantage of faa being closed today.
position: long and strong purchase
just a learner, that is something I already knew. It is totally ludicrous to do an entire mini for one slide. Too costly for the one slide and stupid. The FAA is being beyond unfair to Baltia for this...they know the odds of ever having to deploy a slide and thats even if the bird can land.
And if it does land, the firemen are there with their inflatable mattresses for people to jump on. A Fact.
position: long and strong purchase
Thanks again Robodog. Then this sentence from 2009 applies today:
This D.O.T. Allocation marks another major accomplishment achieved, moving Baltia closer to its inaugural flight.
I knew it had something to do with radio:
United States radio spectrum frequency allocations chart as of 2003. Use of radio frequency bands of the electromagnetic spectrum is regulated by governments in most countries, in a Spectrum management process known as frequency allocation or spectrum allocation.
seriously certdog? I'm going to have to google whatever they are applying to get because I don't know what a "frequency" is unless it has to do with the radio.
I don't think we'd need slides if that happened, just sayin'.
Investorbyday, agree with your post. It's stupid actually for just one slide that is the vendor's responsibility. They successfully completed everything that matters most.
They have other slides and think about when they would use them. It is very rare that a plane lands and the necessity for slides comes into play.
We're talking about what you said. And that is if the plane even lands on the tarmac with whatever reason is the need for slides.
Plus they have other slides that all work. I'm sure the crew could re-direct the passengers if need be; but, think about the panic and people would be jumping or going to whatever slide is available.
It's rediculous to say we're being held up because of one friggin slide that wouldn't have to be used anyway!!!!!!!
good point TheNewGuy, it demonstrates their confidence; however, they keep selling company stock at these absurd prices. If management were super smart they would raise the stock price; so , they don't have to do a lot of stock in a private placement...even if we are at the $20,000 black jack table.
position: long and strong purchase
Robodog, thank you!! I really needed that information to understand the filing. That is so much better to know. Looks like Baltia is getting ready for their proving flights.
See, a knowledge of aviation is paramount to understand how good or how close we are to getting where we're trying to go.
okay kayakzz, yes I noticed there were incorrect dates (I hope), and I thought the filing was bad for Baltia unless you read some stuff carefully and I already wrote a post about those items.
The General Counsel should at least have spell check and some sort of review and edit.
But you can't say it was a pump; if anything it would make pps decrease.
We don't think it's silly kayakzz; in the filing it clearly says they want to retain it; so they need it immediately. Maybe there is a renewal time.
why would Baltia want frequency allocation expedited immediately.
what does that lead to in the FAA carrier certification process. what does it relate to.
Thanks rodeoup. Uncle Sam and Uncle Joe... it sounds like we like each other. In fact wasn't St. Petersburg named Leningrad and Stalingrad before they made it St. Petersburg.
Baltia is going to make this happen.
position: long and strong buy
President probably likes Russia, the news reported he went to Russia even before he got elected president.
This is business and I don't think it will interfere with commerce the way it did with Iraq and embargoes and such.
We have one of the biggest markets for companies to sell products to our population and we have enough clients that need to fly to St. Petersburg. The Russian Mission in New York probably would like an 8 hour flight.
YAY BALTIA !!
position: long and strong purchase
I wrote a post about it. President and Putin had a meeting the previous week or the one prior and President decided to join Russia and Persia(Iran) to fight ISIS. Putin supports Assad being in office; but President doesn't; but Russia will give Assad safe haven if he can get safely to the airport.
President and Putin met and they agreed to an alliance to fight ISIS with Persia. Russia and Persia already have an agreement.
kayakzz, they're doing a rule 506(c) for $10,000,000 and again, that filing was not a pump...with dates of October 2016 and the flying in winter and mentioning the mini...it looks like anything but a pump.
That makes the pps decrease unless somebody reads it very very carefully...and observes sentences and word choices considering the request.
Mini probably passed and they're doing proving flights next week.
Anybody's guess.
Actually I try to find things in the filing that will enlighten me to see what Baltia has accomplished and there are many things you can find if you read more carefully.
I am familiar with the DOT and tried to find the Rule 24 in Practice Rules to which they referred in the document. DOT website is massive and I couldn't find this regulation 24 anyhere for air planes mostly other transportation.
Robodog, we can learn something from the filings and the way they're worded when other sentences seem more appropriate.
If I am going to make a list of things in the performance checklist, I'd say, mini evacuations, proving flights, air carrier certification; but I wouldn't say mini evacuations, preparing for proving flights, etc.
You know more than me with aviation and you've been here longer than me; but we're both pro Baltia and we're both strong longs and that is important.
Reading that DOT thing was shocking at first; because I thought we already had certain things like exclusive routes to various places and it looks like they do have a route or a frequency and they just want to ensure that they retain it.
BLTA says it's preparing for proving flights in that DOT thing; How can they prepare for a mini, if they're preparing for proving flight?
Okay, I'm tired....really tired.
I don't think that DOT filing is bad anymore and they could have completed the mini.
kayakzz, at least Baltia has three crews for recurrent training and I'd rather hear from one of our pilots about the plane. (i'm tired of posting)
Kicks69, waiting for an answer too.eom
kayakzz, BLTA bought that plane in 1989?eom
If it was a scam, Baltia would have released every PR able event and they've had at least five (5) just to make their pps go up.
But Baltia is doing the opposite. They're not releasing PRs to make the pps go up. They're staying quiet and it's making the pps go a little lower.
and they are preparing for proving flights; so it will be fun to see what that guy says when the pilots fly to Russia.
Robodog, thats nice; but it isn't the point. That DOT filing is requesting to retain their frequency that is the point. Other paragraphs provide support for the request EXCEPT the odd and unnecessary statement saying:
Baltia has made arrangements for fuel at JFK and LED
and preparing for proving flights
Robodog, how far in advance would they purchase fuel, in that DOT thing, Baltia has already made arrangements for fuel.
Baltia said flying in winter, we think January, they can sell tickets 45 days prior to flight = November for ticket sales for inaugural flight... unless they think Feb
Important question!! Does Baltia do proving flights from JFK to St. Petersburg or do they just fly around for 50 to 100 hours.
I found some interesting sentences in that DOT thing:
#4. BLTA asks that requested frequency remain in effect....
#5. There are ample unused frequencies available
#6. Baltia has applied for slots at JFK
#8. Baltia has made arrangements for fuel at JFK and LED
#11. US Businesses have requested that Baltia schedule direct container and cargo shipments.
