From the PR.
"today announced that its Sanswire Networks LLC subsidiary is preparing the Sanswire 2A Technology Demonstrator Stratellite(TM) airship for its first comprehensive open-air float test, anticipated to occur at the end of this week in Southern California.
I would expect the testing and Media day will be this Thursday. Look for media coverage this weekend and a PR from the company before Xmas.
Sanswire Networks LLC to Float Equipped 2A Technology Demonstrator Stratellite(TM) [GPZLLZG]
PALMDALE, Calif.--(Business Wire)--In a significant step toward fulfilling its mission to provide solutions for the delivery of wireless communications from the stratosphere, GlobeTel Communications Corp. (Pink Sheets:GTEM) today announced that its Sanswire Networks LLC subsidiary is preparing the Sanswire 2A Technology Demonstrator Stratellite(TM) airship for its first comprehensive open-air float test, anticipated to occur at the end of this week in Southern California.
The 2A will ascend into the air with the flight computer, navigation and telemetry systems, propulsion system with special low altitude propellers to be used for initial flight tests, avionics suite, automated fly by wire electro servo actuated flight control system, back up power systems, antenna suite for GPS and iridium satellite uplink system and the ground control/monitoring station and tether system. In addition the HotZone 4010 will be installed, giving a bird's eye view "hotspot" in the sky featuring the HotZone's combination WiFi/WiMax/VoIP via DECT all in one communications suite solution.
Przemyslaw L. Kostro, Chairman, stated, "This breakthrough test will showcase our concept to different audiences, however, our Board of Directors knows it's our shareholders who are most eager to see us deliver this milestone. Our shareholders have been committed to seeing the Stratellite(TM) project through to completion, and we remain committed to our loyal, long term shareholders."
Peter Khoury, Chief Executive Officer, stated, "We're confident we will prove the potential of the Stratellite(TM) solution with this demonstration. Our testing process is detailed and thorough, and has now brought us to the point where the Stratellite(TM) demonstrator needs to be in the air to show the benefits it can deliver to the telecom, aerospace and defense industries, among others. We've stuck hard and fast to Stratellite(TM) development because we believe it can revolutionize the delivery of VoIP, WiFi and WiMax, and we're excited to be able to take this important step forward with our program."
"We expect this test to yield valuable data as it moves toward free flight testing of Sanswire 2A at Edwards Air Force Base," stated Lt. Colonel (Ret.) Douglas Murch, President, Sanswire LLC. "Some of the airship characteristics my crew and I will be examining include the overall integration of the systems mentioned above, and to determine initial flight qualities of this innovative design. The feedback from this testing on the various subsystems will allow our engineers to fine tune the performance of these systems in preparation for the flight test program."
Open-air float testing will be contingent upon favorable weather conditions.

A follow up Email from Robert Bleckman after I explained why I was inquiring about the Office location and if they received a Clarification letter for the Sacramento Proposal.
I asked Uli to give me information about the Sacramento project so I'm
waiting for that, and on the moving question, yes, we are seeking space in
downtown Ft Lauderdale, a better place to be for us.
Sincerely,
Rob Bleckman
Director, Investor Relations
GlobeTel Communications Corp.
An Email From Robert Bleckman Regarding the City in Mexico and the Corporate Office Location
Dear Mr. ********,
I don't have new corporate office information. It hasn't happened yet. We are probably
looking for a similar sized place and hopefully somewhere that's not a huge
shlep from the airports or the freeways. You are right, the parking
situation there is not very good. I am just wondering who or what
precipitated this sudden interest in our office space, and if it's a message
board rumor, my commentary ends here.
I cannot yet divulge the name of the Mexican city-- yet. Hopefully upon our
next announcement regarding Mexico.
NeoMedia Signs qode License Agreement with Leading U.K. Ad Agency Euro RSCG London [GPPRBCW]
FORT MYERS, Fla. & LONDON--(Business Wire)--NeoMedia Technologies, Inc. (OTC BB: NEOM), an international leader in market-driven technologies, announced today that Euro RSCG London, one of the leading and fastest growing advertising agencies in the U.K., has purchased a license to use and co-market NeoMedia's flagship direct-to-mobile-web qode(R) technology.
Martin Copus, president of NeoMedia Mobile, said that NeoMedia will work with Euro RSCG London (www.eurorscglondon.co.uk) in co-marketing qode to the agency's clients.
Euro RSCG - with 223 offices worldwide -- is the major advertising agency of Havas, the French-owned advertising services group that also includes Arnold Worldwide. Euro RSCG London is the country's third largest marketing communications group, with ad agency Euro RSCG London's client list including Airbus(R), Alberto Culver(R), BMI Baby(R), Citroen(R), Disneyland(R) Resort Paris, Evian(R), Kraft(R), LG(R), News Group Newspapers (The Sun(R) and News of the World(R)), Peugeot(R) and Reckitt Benckiser(R) .
NeoMedia's qode (www.qode.com) suite of easy-to-use applications includes qode(R)reader and qode(R)window, providing One Click to Content(TM) connectivity for products, print, packaging and other physical objects to link directly to specific desired locations on the Mobile Web. qode(R)reader works with camera phones, letting users "click" on two-dimensional "smart codes" for a direct connection to linked mobile web sites, delivering multimedia advertising, promotion, information or other mobile content. qode(R)window lets users enter a key word, slogan, or barcode number to similarly direct-connect to a desired web site or portal on the mobile Internet.
"This license gives Euro RSCG London the right to use and market qode, our patented direct-to-mobile-web linking technology" said Mr. Copus. "Euro RSCG London is a very hot agency right now, both in growth and new business, and we believe that qode will give it even more of an edge with its existing blue chip clients, and in presentations to new business prospects."
Mr. Copus said qode will be positioned and presented to Euro RSCG London clients as "a strategic cornerstone, linking traditional media advertising to the multimedia 'always-on, anywhere' capability of the Mobile Internet. Euro RSCG is one of the most forward-thinking agencies in London, and it's not at all surprising that they are the first agency there to recognize the value of qode for their creatively-demanding client base."
Mark Cadman, the chief executive officer of Euro RSCG London, shared Mr. Copus's enthusiasm.
"We are delighted to be partnering with NeoMedia," Mr. Cadman said. "qode is an exciting application that gives us the opportunity to make our communications live beyond the media in which they appear and facilitates a new level of consumer engagement for advertising. It represents a great opportunity for us to make our advertising work even harder for our clients. Harnessing the potential of digital media is a central focus for Euro RSCG London."

nilremerlin,
I Called out to California about two weeks ago to get an update regarding the Sacramento Project. The evaluation process is still ongoing. The evaluation panel sent Clarification letters to two of the four companies who originally submitted proposals. After receiving the responses, the Evaluation Panel will then make there recommendation to the Four Member AD HOC committee. I was told this will not happen until the first part of January.
It will then be presented to the City Council in the Middle or end of January (than it will become Public Info). I spoke to one of the Engineers involved with the Evaluation process. He was very tight lipped about discussing specifics about any of the four companies. He mentioned two of the four companies seemed to of lost interest in the Project and have backed out.
The only other info he mentioned was that the evaluation team would be visiting some areas in California to see how well the two companies systems work.
All the Best. William

Try typing in the Nintendo Wii Barcode Number 0 21200 00213 7 from the discount coupon into the Go Window. It pulls up a Demo from late 2004 early 2005 for 3M. The Wii Demo is just like the others. To show clients the possibilities of Qode.
I just spoke to Selena Roberts who creates the Market Maker List for Merriman Curhan Ford & Co. She mentioned that they are not sponsoring Globetel to the OTC.
I wish I had better News. I'm confident it will happen. Just not with this Market Maker.
A conversation I had with Rob Bleckman in October regarding the status of Bob Jones.
Question: Now that Tim Huff has resigned do you feel confident Bob Jones will continue to be the President of Sanswire?
Answer: I'm not sure; Bob has transferred a lot of his authority over to Doug Murch. Bob is pursuing more contacts for the Sanswire division. But I am very confident in Doug’s Ability should the Board make a change in that area
It seemed very possible that Doug Murch would be taking over as the Sanswire President. Remember all those missed deadlines? It seems like the New CEO want's more results.
Nov 2, 2006 CEO Letter to Shareholders
We are well aware of the mounting frustrations over the past several months with respect to the progress of Stratellite(TM) testing. Therefore, we have taken steps to assure better planning and adherence to schedules. The development of
the 2A Technology Demonstrator and, subsequently, being a leader in the near-space vehicle market is our priority. Underscoring this commitment, we've made staffing changes to significantly reduce waste and missed deadlines. We are moving forward, and upward, with the faith that the changes within Sanswire will augment our ability to maintain a first-mover position.
Do you remember a Conversation I had with Rob Bleckman on October 24?
1. How long do you expect Tim Huff to be there and how is he being compensated?
Rob's Answer: I expect Tim to be here indefinitely. I believe his compensation has changed to the role he is now doing for the company. Tim is a Great Engineer and has the vision for the company. This is what he is doing for us.
Rob get's bashed enough around here, I figured I give him some Credit.

jcg0176. I'm not sure if you had a chance to listen to the Conference Call on Oct 10TH? Chaz Fritz was on a Speaker phone with David Dodge when he addressed this issue of the money due to the Subs. There weren't any specifics disclosed, but my take on his comments was that there may be some restructuring. I do remember specifically that Chaz said he was "Very Pleased with the Progress addressing this issue"
Remember these subs are not outside Vendors looking to be paid. There part of the family.
Like you and many of us here. I'll be curious to see how they resolve this.
I just spoke with Mr.Thanh Vo. He said they are meeting with the council tomorrow to present the evaluations of the finalist. He mentioned they will not have an answer for 3 to 4 weeks. I asked him if the finalist where the 4 companies that submitted the proposals. He said 4 companies submitted proposals but only 3 where finalist. I asked him if GlobeTel was a finalist. He said he could not mention the 3 finalist because it wasn't public info.
Did Martin Copus age 15 years or is someone messing with the Website? Jensen and Fritz look different as well.

Chairman of GlobeTel Communications Corp. Issues Letter to Shareholders [GMRHKPX]
FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla.--(Business Wire)--GlobeTel Communications Corp. (OTC:GTEM) announced that the Chairman of the Board of Directors, Przemyslaw L. Kostro, has released the following statement:
-0- *T Dear Fellow Shareholders,
Since our last letter to shareholders, CEO Peter Khoury and I have begun to implement several changes within GlobeTel that will work toward restoring confidence in our Company. Our aim is a leaner, stronger, more competitive company focused on delivering shareholder value and results by improving our efficiency and follow-through, and substantially reducing the burn rate.
Over the past few years, our Company was structured to support multiple business channels to achieve the completion of the SuperHub(TM) concept. We still consider the SuperHub(TM) a worthwhile long-term pursuit and a long-range objective, but are most concerned right now with the present-day opportunities that are within our reach, such as those within wireless, VoIP and Stratellite(TM) deployment. We've redirected our energy toward our core competency in engineering the best ways to deliver telecommunications.
In terms of distinct operational changes, restructuring our financial reporting process and the department responsible for these crucial functions is our top priority. We're installing a new reporting structure together with personnel changes. We believe that restructuring our financial reporting functions will have a beneficial effect on the efficiency of the entire organization through increased company-wide fiscal accountability. Related to this matter, in a Form 8-K filed today with the Securities & Exchange Commission, we announced that Lawrence Lynch was no longer the Company's acting Chief Financial Officer.
Also during the past few weeks, we've substantially reduced our payroll by re-examining functions within the Company, and eliminated positions that we viewed as unnecessary, redundant or generally not contributing to GlobeTel's value. We also re-deployed our existing resources to where they're needed the most right now -- supporting our wireless products in the field. We view the opportunities available to us in the wireless area to be, by far, the most easily convertible into solid, timely results.
We've also re-engineered Sanswire. We are well aware of the mounting frustrations over the past several months with respect to the progress of Stratellite(TM) testing. Therefore, we have taken steps to assure better planning and adherence to schedules. The development of the 2A Technology Demonstrator and, subsequently, being a leader in the near-space vehicle market is our priority. Underscoring this commitment, we've made staffing changes to significantly reduce waste and missed deadlines. We are moving forward, and upward, with the faith that the changes within Sanswire will augment our ability to maintain a first-mover position.
We realize there are pre-restructuring issues weighing heavily on the minds of our shareholders, and we will continue to address them internally one at a time. Such changes will be communicated to you on an "as implemented" basis. We'd like to be able to discuss the current Securities & Exchange Commission investigation of our Company, however an investigation of this nature generally does not allow for comment or for the delivery of a deadline. We'd like our shareholders to know, however, that we continue to cooperate fully with the SEC.
As always, we're appreciative of the patience and understanding our loyal, long-term shareholders have exhibited. As a new management team and substantially new Board of Directors, we'd like to reaffirm to you our commitment to establishing a better flow of communication to the investment community moving forward.
Thank you, Przemyslaw L. Kostro Chairman *T

Everyone check there phone at get.qode.com
I was able to Download Qode to a T-Mobile Motorola V3 Razr this morning!
The version is 4.08 the file is 139K
The only catch is when I go to the Barcode feature it won't activate the camera to Scan the Barcode. I have to manually enter in the numbers.
Question? For the members who are able to use the camera function. Do you have the same Qode Version 4.08?
Also I tried downloading a Sprint Sanyo 8300. The site is now completely in Spanish. This has changed from Friday. Im still not able to Download Qode. But something has changed? And no it's not the settings on the phone. It appears as if they have been busy this last weekend :)
ColeThorton you really seem bent on this, when you refer to a statement I make Please include the entire response from the Q&A.
I'll Replay Question 4 for your future references.
4. Is the Sanswire 2A designed to go the Full 65,000 ft?
Answer: Yes. Sanswire 2A is designed to go to 65,000 ft. It will have to do everything that is going to be required on Sanswire 3 just on a smaller scale. The hardest part will be getting the vehicle through the 40,000 ft range.
I'm expecting a Response from Rob regarding the Status and use for Sanswire 1. I will try to get a specific time frame that SAN2 will have to be at 65,000 to be considered successful.
You seem to use a lot of "You said This, Or "You Said that"
So Cut and Paste the following if you want to respond.
WilliamFL you Said "ColeThorton you really seem bent on this"
All the Best, Wm
Here is a Question and answer I had with Rob about an Hour ago.
1. How long do you expect Tim Huff to be there and how is he being compensated?
Answer: I expect Tim to be here indefinitely. I believe his compensation has changed to the role he is now doing for the company. Tim is a Great Engineer and has the vision for the company. This is what he is doing for us.
2. Now that Tim Huff has resigned do you feel confident Bob Jones will continue to be the President of Sanswire?
Answer: I'm not sure; Bob has transferred a lot of his authority over to Doug Murch. Bob is pursuing more contacts for the Sanswire division. But I am very confident in Doug’s Ability should the Board make a change in that area.
3. When do you anticipate trading on the OTC.BB?
Answer: We could get a Marker Maker at the earliest by the end of next week. The SEC investigation is holding us up. I was approached by one MM last week that would sponsor us but I wasn't confident in the firm. John is in contact with a couple firms that we may soon pursue.
5. Any significance with the Sans 2A symbol compared to using a numeral sign? Or A, B, C...
Answer: No significance at all.
6. Will the Sanswire 3 Ship look like Sans 2A or Sans 1?
Answer: I believe it will look like the Sans 2A.
7. Where is Sanswire 1, and what is it being used for?
Answer: Sanswire 1 is in California.... I will email you after I make a phone call on what the status is for its use.
8. Do you still have plans for a Media event?
Answer: Yes, but it will more likely happen in November and it will be by invitation only. There will not be a Press Release with the date and time or with who attended.
I asked about the Sec Investigation, Rob's response was the same as Glow Beatle reported. That they are specifically looking at the Value of certain assets with Sanswire and GlobelTel Wireless before there they where purchased. The Internal Company investigation is being conducted by a 3rd party not related to GlobelTel. Rob is confident that this will soon pass. The most he feels that would happen is a small reevaluation of some assets.
All the Best, William
Mide , As you suggested. I sent an Email to Rob last Friday regarding the 10 Minute call. He replied back and is going to be calling Tomorrow. Thank You for the heads up!
Anyone who has a question, I would be willing to ask if there is time left.
All the Best, Wm
OT: Nutsoc, I'm not specifically sure. Could be a retirement or an investment fund?
DrMyke, call you an Institution? California Public has 4397 positions with a value over $71 Billion. Im pretty sure your portfolio doesn't compare.
I think calling you institutionalized would be more appropriate :)
Will see how your 700K Shares compare to the institutional holdings in a month once everyone is done reporting.
Take Care, WM
From Sanswire Website.
The following chart demonstrates why 65,000 – 70,000 feet is considered the “sweet spot” for high altitude operation, due to the very low wind speeds and thin atmosphere.
Your correct that 45K is much more difficult than 65K
Drmyke3. There are 7 institutions holding a total of 405,000 shares. This figure is updated by quarter. The 3rd qtr (9/30) just ended so where expecting more updates soon. Check out the two links Success622 Posted last year on this.
The 1st link shows how many Institutions are holding now. Notice six of the seven companies show as of 6/30. But Sterne Agee & Leach ends 9/30. They have been updated already. They added 30,000 more shares last quarter. Expect more updates over the next month.
http://www.nasdaq.com/asp/holdings.asp?mode=&page=&symbol=NEOM&symbol=&symbol=&s...
The 2nd link shows Daily Institutional Buying. I can tell you a few of us where following this last quarter. There was a lot of activity in the first two weeks of September. The daily percentage of shares traded by institutions was a high percent. Unfortunately this site does not show if it was buying or selling. But I do know there where only 375,000 shares that where held going into the 2nd quarter. And the Daily percent was to high for the 375K already held. Safe to say that those high Daily percentages where not Institutions Dumping, rather adding. IMO

Two good links for an investor to have.
Last one for me. Hope it clears everything up.
test
PALMDALE, Calif.--(Business Wire)--Sanswire Networks LLC, subsidiary of GlobeTel Communications Corp. (OTC:GTEM) today announced that its Sanswire 2A technology demonstrator completed its first outdoor, low altitude, float test. During the first float, the structural integrity and overall balance of the airship were tested in uncontrolled atmospheric conditions.
Sanswire expects to test the airship over a period of at least 90 days. The testing will be performed to evaluate the entire integrated airship system. The first test of the structural loads and lifting qualities has been completed and will soon be followed by further airframe tests to ensure airship readiness for a dynamic flight environment. Upon installation of the avionics suite and propulsion system, a series of low altitude tethered tests and then, a series of high altitude tests will take place. At each stage of testing, Sanswire's engineers will evaluate the airship's flight qualities to determine if the airship is working within its design parameters. Throughout the systems testing data will be analyzed to qualify the airship design, with redesign accomplished as needed.
Peter Khoury, GlobeTel's interim CEO, stated, "In the past, the Company has tried to give its shareholders milestones on the progress of Sanswire, but this has been difficult given the nature of aerospace projects and the unique set of program objectives. The Company's goal is to provide its shareholders with current information in a format that does not set unrealistic expectations or assumptions for a cutting edge aerospace program. The Company cautions that delays must be expected from time to time, but progress in the program is its bottom line goal."
The Company intends to announce the completion of each test stage, and following the completion of the low-altitude tethered flights, free-flight tests at the Air Force Test Range at Edwards Air Force Base will ensue. Additionally, Sanswire is preparing to file provisional patents covering the intellectual property associated with the airship, and upon accomplishment of that objective, a priority for the Company, it will organize an invitational media day, presently anticipated for late October.
"The results of our first float test are encouraging," stated Doug Murch, Lead Engineer for the project. "The combined rigid hull/envelope structure behaved according to design resulting in a successful test during its first float outside of our hangar. Our primary test objectives were focused on the newly designed empennage, or fin/rudder system, in order to gain additional insight into the airship's structural and load bearing qualities in the open air. The resulting test data will be invaluable in order to prepare for our series of flight tests."

DD: Over 36 Million Mobile Subscribers Responded via SMS to an Advertising.
Across the five countries for which it measures mobile content consumption, M:Metrics found that monthly use of text message short codes in response to ads was as high as 29.1% of mobile subscribers. The firm, which today released the first definitive metrics for mobile advertising, found that a sizable percentage of mobile subscribers are responding to short codes placed in advertisements or in other media, with Spain topping the list at 29.1%, followed by the UK at 18.5%, France at 10.1%, the United States at 7% and Germany at 3.4%.
"These numbers are not unlike what we saw in e-mail response during the mid-1990s as the Web emerged an advertising medium," said Will Hodgman, CEO, M:Metrics, who also founded AdRelevance, the global standard for advertising measurement on the Internet. "The growing adoption of major brands using SMS and the substantial consumer response rates indicate a couple of important trends: mobile as a commercial medium is on steroids; and multimedia convergence is real."
Jen, thanks for all you've done! Your a Class Act! Looking forward to your continued contributions to the Board. Kokonutguy, Steelers_Fan and SS9173 thanks for stepping up!!!
Yahoo To Show Search Ads On Mobile Devices In US,UK
NEW YORK -(Dow Jones)- Yahoo plans on Wednesday to begin showing keyword-based advertisements on mobile phones in the United States and the United Kingdom, in the Internet giant's first effort to establish a mobile-advertising business outside of Japan.
The Sunnyvale, Calif., company will launch the "beta," or test, advertising programs for its Mobile Web service, which allows people to perform keyword Web searches on most mobile phones and handheld devices using Web browsers, starting with a select group of less than 100 advertisers, which Yahoo declined to identify.
As with the search-based ads Yahoo displays on Web pages on personal computers, Yahoo will charge advertisers each time a consumer clicks on the link shown in their ad at rates established by advertisers in online auctions. Yahoo said, so far, ad rates appear to be comparable to those seen for the PC, but in time could prove to be even more lucrative.
The mobile-advertising market is small and undeveloped today, but it is garnering increasing interest as more powerful, Web-enabled devices get into the hands of more consumers and as the devices become the primary way to access the Internet in some countries.
"There are hundreds of millions, if not billions, of consumers who have mobile phones," said Steve Boom, senior vice president of broadband and mobile at Yahoo. "Advertisers want to be where the consumer is."
The company's aim in launching the mobile-ad programs is to "further establish ourselves as a leader and start to earn some money off mobile services," he said.
Search competitors like Google have held tests of mobile advertising, but have yet to role out beta programs.
Under Yahoo's mobile program, consumers who see ads and click on a link to get more information will be routed to the mobile version of the advertiser's Web site, if it has one, or to a Yahoo-provided "landing page," if it does not. On the landing page, advertisers will be able to provide a phone number that consumers can click on to initiate a phone call. For now, advertisers will not pay for those calls. However, Yahoo said it plans to charge for them in the future and that adding that feature is a top priority on its development agenda.
Yahoo has been showing mobile search ads in a pilot program in Japan, perhaps the world's most advanced mobile-device market, for about two years. It has also been running more limited tests in the U.K. for about a year. Yahoo concluded it was time to introduce the format to the U.S. after the efforts in Japan and the U.K. began show improved traction in recent months.
"It's starting to produce revenue that is interesting to us as a company," Boom said.
Yahoo has found that mobile users are receptive to search ads because they are relevant and tend to enhance the user experience rather than detract from it. Boom said he expects that the medium will attract advertisers selling products and services that are interesting to people when they are on the go, such as restaurants and travel-related companies.
While mobile advertising is at a very early stage, advertisers are sold on the value of online advertising. As such, "I expect that the ramp will be much, much faster than it was on the PC," Boom said.
Yahoo is likely to introduce display advertising on mobile devices in the near term, he added.
