Good point.
I picture NWBO’s board room more like a meerkat pit. She’ll be just fine.
Many independent brokers in the financial services world are listed with organizations that have contracts with entities that market products and services. They are often not salaried, but the brokerages they work with process all the paperwork and have general contracts that pay a portion of the commission off the top. Some brokers never sell a particular product or service but could if the opportunity ever presented itself. There are many different scenarios, but I think this is true in general and may explain Ms. Kiel’s situation here.
Maybe this is old news, but Cofer Black isn’t listed as one of the 15 employees of Nwbio according to the information on that link you provided.
flipper, do you know if interim FDA commissioners have the full authority of permanent appointees?
Gary, FYI, among others, black market THC vaping brand Dank has caused significant injury to users.
Like when NASA ignored Morton Thiokol’s opposition to launch Challenger because the temperature was below 53 degrees. The timing of Ronnie’s State of the Union Address was weighed in the balance and found wanting.
Newbies will have to conduct a search on that inside joke.
Pay the fine. With oversight, cease and desist with the issues identified and continue as a growing concern. It’s a pardoning settlement, not a damning one.
TDAmeritrade just informed me that starting Oct. 3, they will be charging $0 commission on online equity trades
(exchange-listed U.S. stocks), $0 commission on online ETF trades (domestic and Canadian), and $0 commission on online option trades (Contract fees now only $0.65, plus no assignment or exercise fees.
That’s definitely upper-level management.
Fair enough, but my nephew was a VP for PNC and wasn’t anywhere near upper-level management.
Greetings Dr. Bala, I once had a vice president at a local bank open up a checking account for me. As I’m sure you know, you have to look at a company’s organizational chart and an individual’s role in order to make an accurate determination as to whether or not one would be considered mid-level management or not. But I tend to agree that a BP director would be above mid-level. For the sake of the patients, and patience, Vince
Bistecca alla Fiorentina is quite an experience, but only served rare.
Then, for those who can sit tight with converted shares, maybe double after five more years. Who knows? The required revenue seems plausible with L and Direct available to all who need it.
I would also pass on the helmet; nevertheless, he did mention “devices”.
According to Jacob Plieth in his June 7, 2019 article, no NWBO shares had been sold by Mr. Woodford: “The first problem is that the fund manager is under increasing pressure to cash in anything liquid, and in recent days regulatory filings have revealed him selling down stakes in IP Group, Circassia, Allied Minds and E-Therapeutics.”

Easy big fella.
Why is NWBO dragging out this trial?
Taking longer than many expected doesn’t mean failure is a fait accompli. “You guys” were singing the same sad song years ago. Now compare that point in time to where NWBO is right now. I’m pushing 60, but I’ll gladly wait five more years if I have to. I don’t want a bigger house and a shiny new car as much as I want access to L and Direct if ever needed. See you on the way up.
The statement was that he was invested, not that he owned shares. He’s certainly invested his time and energy and has been compensated with options. I’d consider myself invested if I were in his shoes.
Precisely, Gore Vidal asked that, too :)
miltong, we’re probably be better off on the other side. Gore Vidal once opined that if there was life after death, he was going to complain about the room service ;)
Journal material.
FYI, had to lower D3 intake to 800IU/day due to increased BP side effect.
Hi Sojo, regarding timing, can we be certain how L results will be made public? Will it be before the FDA makes an announcement on https://www.accessdata.fda.gov/scripts/cder/daf/index.cfm?utm_campaign=CDER%20New%2005%2F15%2F2019&utm_medium=email&utm_source=Eloqua&event=reportsSearch.process&rptName=1&reportSelectMonth=10&reportSelectYear=2017&nav&elqTrackId=80d2a8f1667d4a27abe597e9bcae803f&elq=e100e495c1944f929d93e9ffaaf8aa8b&elqaid=8035&elqat=1&elqCampaignId=6581#navigation? TIA
Nice one, CherryTree.
It’s not that simple.
Footnote: My British colleagues seriously doubt that a Brexit deal will ever materialize.
Hi Mav, could you, or anyone, give us an idea of how much the fees would be to have one’s shares physically delivered to them? Let’s say one owns, 50,000, or 500,000, or 5,000,000 shares. Also, do brokers routinely insure deliveries to residences in Somalia, or Bangladesh, or anywhere for that matter? Thank you.
Doc, Can I get a medical marijuana card? These naysayers give me a chronic pain in my intergluteal cleft.
Nice one, Senti.
Jondooek, I’ve heard that position before from supposed disinterested individuals daily on NWBO’s message board. With all due respect, I believe you are completely wrong. Time will tell.
Credible sources say an announcement of significant news at ASCO is possible but doubtful. Release of top-line data sometime before September 2019 is more likely.
I’ve done my due diligence on NWBO since 2013. It’s not that simple.
As Opdivo sales wane, BMY is scrambling for a strategy to compete in the cancer-fighting space with NWBO when the latter’s DCVax-L is likely to be approved later this year, soon to be followed by the more impressive DCVax-Direct.
Thanks for digging deeper Doc.
