the question is when was the sale and of course how much
so did LLEG sell the equity in the Berlin plant between 5/19 and 6/8?
"Berlin BioPower issued a press release yesterday clarifying that Laidlaw Energy Group no longer has any equity interest in the 75-megawatt biomass plant proposed for Berlin."
we need that PR
Laidlaw Energy Announces Update Concerning Acquisitions and Other Matters Source: Business Wire
May 19, 2011
Additionally, the Berlin, NH project continues to make progress and as a stakeholder we remain very optimistic with respect to its future. As you may be aware, the long-term power purchase agreement for this project was recently finalized. Due to matters pending before the New Hampshire Site Evaluation Committee we will refrain from making further public comment at this time, though we fully expect all of the details of our sale of this project's equity holdings and our continued obligations pursuant to certain Management Services Agreements to be addressed in our upcoming filing with the U.S. SEC.

it's always good to have full disclosure. That's why this new SEC group was formed...to help folks avoid situations like the LLEG shareholders are in this week
"The Commission temporarily suspended trading in the securities of the above-listed issuers
because of questions regarding the adequacy and accuracy of information about the companies,
including their assets, business operations, current financial condition and/or issuances of shares
in company stock."

no they didn't....it's not clear what % of anything LLEG shareholders own at this point in this 5/19/11 update from Michael B. Bartoszek
President & Chief Executive Officer
....
on one side there's a reference to stakeholder and future on the other a sale of equity...what does all this mean

thank you!! I've been spending all my time looking for these pertinent posts, this being one.
did they say what $$$'s specifically the LLEG ownership got?
what section is that in...
the chart of ownership (not sure the origin) is in the intro box. There was a link underneath that that links to Laidlaw website and information isn't there anymore looks like. Don't know if that pertain to the chart or not.
questions:
how much do lleg shareholders own of the Berlin project
how much do lleg shareholders own of Laidlaw Berlin Biopower if anything
I'm hoping this is part of the SEC requirements for LLEG to disclose to be relisted on the pinks (if that happens).
it would help to put that up in the 'yellow' post area so we don't have to keep going back to find it? I know there's a lot up there now so it may not be possible. Thanks!
are those tiny tears dolls lol! yes it is very true.
the PR's are listed here...
http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/board.aspx?board_id=5253 in the intro section
or more to the point...
"The federal agency says it has questions about the adequacy and accuracy of the information put out by Laidlaw and the other companies."
that
which one?
ken....there are at least 2 parts to consider about a company
one is it's business
the other is the shareholder value
the business can look promising
but..........
do the shareholders benefit from that
I don't know the answer...but I do know the distinction. When I read that last PR as an example I'll take it at face value and one thing that stuck out to me was how much could I possibly make from this stock if they continue to issue shares at any level with so many common stock shares out there. So....taking THAT PR at face value the business looked good to me but the stock didn't.
Just pointing out that there is more than one item on the menu
to evaluate a company.

do they ever notify the company in advance?
"YOU ARE ABSOLUTELY RIGHT. Evidently the SEC suspended without ever even having talked with LLEG."
"This is all about the way the stocks are traded and how the market is manipulated by a few."
huh? it was an SEC mandate
http://www.otcmarkets.com/stock/lleg/quote
"Mike has had LLEG put through the corporate version of a colonoscopy by everyone from regulators to intervenors and to date no wrong doing has been shown."
Don't know.
www.pinksheets.com put in upzsd click on reports filings with published date of May
Thank you!
I don't know what the 'd' means....eslr just did a r/s and they added a d to theirs....no I haven't talked to LV or CA....
LOL PKG....(Long and strong!! LOL!) What are the Vowlers doing these days anyway....do you ever hear from the franchise folks?
Happy New Year!!
agree...
the most simple way to answer the r/s question is to ask folks who have been here for awhile how many of these pink sheet/otc r/s have materialized in favor of the current shareholders and how many have resulted in a shareholder bath. And I would take a 2nd look with the # of shares this company has and the mindset of the decision maker to ever do a r/s and say why would they do a small one 1/10 with 2.4bil in the float?
name me 2 stocks that survived a r/s to the advantage of shareholders from the pinks or otc
if you are talking bankruptcy the shares become valueless in that process
no they won't....the stock runs on anticipation of news. There's plenty put out there on this company so anything is possible and there's no date attached to it.
"I promise you that this company will be one of the biggest companies in the world. To tell you the truth I think this company is one of the safest investments out there."
when? 058/067

not to mention...
" Indeed, in a letter of support for the project to NYSERDA, Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton referred to this project as: smart for the environment, smart for our natural security, and smart for the local economy.""

she's been SOS for 2 years....and campaigned 2 years prior
charts only play a role in the daytraders activities....for the folks holding this stock right now the activity is all about buying and selling...not chart reads. Don't forget the buying and selling is what creates the chart data
charts don't mean anything with this stock right now...it's all about the buying and selling
" Boston proved to be an appropriate venue for a conference about an industry possessing those very qualities"
Menino is a shrewd business person...he draws conferences from all over the country to bring business to Boston. He's the smartest mayor in the US...he's bidding for the World Cup also...real smart business person. Good for Boston hotels, good for Boston businesses, good for Boston taxpayers!
don't know....they will decide. It's not Massachusetts don't forget. It's a group located in Massachusetts that are putting up the challenge
"If they indeed want biomass they will not strangle it for the tree huggers."
Are you familiar with the strength of Massachusetts groups???? LOL! You better read up on it. We have the most liberal laws in the nation and there's a reason for that....our groups are powerful.............very powerful. We keep what we want. We move out what we don't. We negotiate with the rest. But key to the process is we will be heard
Massachusetts questions about the wood plants is not whether they are grandfathered or not....it's whether they will comply with the new standards yet to be set. ALL of the companies are going to be held accountable under the new standards. That's why I said what's the difference whether they are grandfathered or not. It's not about 'stop' it's about meeting the regulations that will be set out of the results of this study.
