Why couldn't someone simply hook up a direct cable between their computer and this? An awful lot already do. This is what I was thinking about when I read that, and it definitely gives or lends POSSIBILITY to utilizing tvtonic!
jmho,

BB,
What exactly do you believe
about man's composition? This is where we will have this discussion as it directly affets what YOU believe about quickening versus what I believe to be true.
Let me share with you what I and many other Biblical scholars hold as tenants.
Man was created in God's Image. This means "like unto God".
How is God?
He is a TRIUNE being.
Man was created in His likeness, or similitude.
Man is a TRIUNE being also, though He is not God.
Man's being is Body, Soul, Spirit. Three parts of man.
The body is under the CURSE, as is all creation, the animal kingdome and the plant kingdom, the entire world as we know it.
It is corrupted. Including Man's body. It is mortal as you say and therefore it is dying and decaying. It is corrupt. It cannot and will not enter into God's kingdom or presence.
Why? Because sin cannot enter into the presence of God AND we are told that we shall receive a NEW body, one that INCORRUPTIBLE and shall last for all eternity.
So, we shall SHED these OLD BODIES because THEY will not be salvaged and made clean and holy.
The SPIRIT of man is what is ETERNAL. Not the soul. The soul is your personalty.
The Spirit hath He made alive to desire and want to be with God and fellowship with Him forever!
When man dies the Spirit does not die. The BODY does. It is corrupted and so it decays. But at the last trump, the dead in Christ shall rise! Those graves will open up and the dead's bodies will be quickened and rise up to meet Him in the air! We shall ALL be changed, and given NEW BODIES, bodies that will last an eternity. Bodies that are HOLY and Pure and Undefiled, washed by the Blood! Bodies that along with our Spirit have been indeed quickened.
Here is what Dr. John Gill says about the passage in Romans 8:11 referring to quickening of the body.
"shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you;
not the souls of the saints, for these die not: but their "bodies", called "mortal", because appointed to death, are under the sentence of it, and in which it already works; "your" bodies and not others; mortal ones, and not airy, celestial, immortal ones; the very same they carry about with them here, and in which the Spirit of God had dwelt. These shall be quickened. The Jews frequently express the resurrection by (Mytmh tyyxt) , "the quickening of the dead" some distinguish between (hmwqt) "the resurrection" of the dead, which is common to the wicked, and (tyyxt) , "the quickening" of them, peculiar to the righteous: though, it is observed, this distinction does not always hold: however, this act of quickening seems here designed to express the peculiar blessing, of the saints; for though the wicked shall be raised from the dead, yet they will not rise with the saints, nor by virtue of union to Christ, nor to an eternal life of joy and happiness; in this sense the saints only will be quickened, "by the Spirit"; not as an instrument, but as a coefficient cause with the Father and Son: or "because of the Spirit that dwelleth in you", the bodies of the saints are the temples of the Holy Ghost, they are sanctified by him, where he continues to dwell by virtue of union to Christ, and in consequence of it will quicken them at the last day; so the Jews say, that the Holy Ghost brings to the resurrection of the dead.
I do pray that you see where I am cioming from my brother. I hope that we can discuss in the spirit of Christ things which will edify the body and help to draw men and women and boys and girls to Christ before it is eternally too late.
I do not mean to lecture, and forgive me becuase it comes pretty naturally.
Grace to you in Christ Jesus,
MIB
Good morning and Blessed Day
God has made and will sustain by His power brethren!
Forgive me for not being around to participate last evening.
I am normally involved with other activities outside of the home office and I go to bed early because I rise up early.
Scripture has taught me "Early will I rise and worship thee" and I find in the early hours is a great time to be alone with God and fellowship with Him and meditate upon His Word.
Veritas, made a statement about eternity and us being everlasting!
Amen!
I have taught for years this simple expression.
God is Eternal.
Man is everlasting.
Man is NOT eternal.
The reason is being Eternal denotes not having any beginning or end! Only Jesus could say He is the I AM of the Bible! "Before Abraham was, I am". Wouldn'y you have loved to have been there to see th elooks on their faces when Christ told those bunch of whited walls that He was alive LONG before Abraham???? That's worth shouting about, amen?
Yes indeed, man is everlasting. We will go on but only AFTER we are born. We will go on either unto Life eternal with God in Heaven, or without God's presence in Hell.
Yes, man is everlasting indeed but only God is eternal.
Blessings to you all in Christ,
MIB
THank you for the warm welcome Veritas!
I LOVE in depth Bible study. Been doing that for over three decades now and cannot ever learn enough about MY SAVIOR or HIS WORD.
I certainly have "not arrived" and simply enjoy talking with other believers who can actually hold a conversation centered around God's WORD and KNOW what they are speaking of.
I have bookmarked the board and will now frequent it as often as I can.
I have my own Bible board at Atomic Bobs and it is there to be a witness for our Lord and Savior.
I usually share some devotionals and scriptures and an occasion message I have preached or a lesson I have taught.
This is great and I want to thank you for having it!
Blessings,
MIB
Hi BB!!
I see now what you are getting at!
Yes, the BODY at the time of the resurrection or the rapture, when the saints of God are called home to glory, indeed the BODY shall be "quickened" because it will respond to the "trump" of God!
However, also we need to not that at that sound, this corruptible must put off corruption and put on that which is incorruptible! A new body! Onr that can live for an eternity without corruption and decay!
No corruptible thing shall enter into God's presence or dwelling place! Thank Jesus that He placed HIS righteousness upon us and clothed us with it! This is HOW and WHY we are made acceptable to the FATHER!
Jesus didn't forget anything did he???? Praise God!!!
Time for a little old fashined shouting fit !!!!
Bless you my brother,
MIB
Very excellent article AWK!
Thanks for sharing.

Greetings in Jesus Name!
I was reading some of your posts and am excited to see another believer and brother in Christ who appears to read and listen to all the same writers and expounders of God's principles and Word that I do, including the BIBLE itself.
I don;t want to read about the Bible. I want to read the Bible, amen???? I want all the benefits of this rich fountain. Better than a mineral pool amen????
Anyway, just wanted to say hello.
Blessings,
MIB

I would disagree with you regarding your statement about the Millenial reign and Ezekiel containing more than allothers combined.
You really need to re-think that. Isaiah had plenty in it as do sveral of the minor prophets, like almost the entire book of Zechariah.
True that Ezekiel does have a lot of passages and portions dedicated to the millenium but I would strongly argue the point about more so than all others combined. I think that is a bit of a stretch.
Also, one other thought. Most of what you are referencing in this post of yours seems to be of Mosaic Law and not exclusive to the Milllenial reign time only.
Just thinking out loud here.
Anyway, just wanted to comment on that briefly.
blessings,
MIB
Greetings in Jesus name!
This is a wonderful board!
I want to say hello and bid the beloved brethren all blessinsg in Christ Jesus!
May I comment upon bb2's post just a little for edification purposes only?
First, let me say I agree with your previous post wholeheartedly and most of this one.
Simply wanted to point out, or go one step farther in BB's statement regarding quickening.
Let's look at Ephesians 2: 1,5 for some reference points.
2: 1 "And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins; "
2: 5 "Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)"
The word Quickened has the meaning of being made alive, or brought back to life again.
Interestingly enough, this depicts the resurrection of our Lord Jesus and only HE has power over LIFE and death.
But this goes back even farther, and all of this points towards and LIFTS UP Christ, to whome be praise and glory forever!
What was quickened or IS quickened in these verses?
It is not the body! It is corrupt and decaying. It is temporal.
Man's spirit within him until it is rejuvenated and brought back to life, does not natuarally want ot have ANYTHING to do with God or fellowship with him. This is what {Paul was referring to when He declared that unsaved men and women are at enmity with God in Romans!
We have no natural desire for the things of God because our spirit is dead toward the things of God.
Upon regeneration, the HOLY SPIRIT rejuvenates our dead spirit and quickens it, or gives it life again.
Why again? Because it once possessed those desires for fellowship with our Creator in the Garden until the Fall and SIN snuffed it out.
A man in order to have a DESIRE for the things of God must have a spirit that is quickened, or made alive for them.
I hope I have not overstepped or offended anyone. I was so excited to see this board and to read all the stuff on the board info!
WOW!!
I will boardmark this site and be back as time permits.
Blessings in Christ Jesus,
MIB
Trion Selects GuardianEdge Solutions to Protect Sensitive Data on Laptops, USB Devices and Other Vulnerable Endpoints
GuardianEdge and infoLock Technologies Deliver Hard Disk, Removable Storage Encryption
Jun 18, 2008 08:03 ET
http://www.marketwire.com/mw/release.do?id=870082
SAN FRANCISCO, CA--(Marketwire - June 18, 2008) - GuardianEdge, the leader in endpoint data protection for the enterprise, today announced that Trion has selected GuardianEdge Hard Disk Encryption and GuardianEdge Removable Storage Encryption solutions to protect proprietary information on company laptops and removable storage devices. Trion, an employee benefits and consulting leader, is now armed with award-winning solutions for the protection of customer data. In the event that a company laptop or removable storage device is lost or stolen, the data contained within is protected. The GuardianEdge solutions also prevent the accidental transfer of confidential data to other devices such as iPods, CDs, DVDs and USB thumb drives.
Headquartered in King of Prussia, Pa., Trion develops innovative solutions for local, regional and Fortune 1000 companies. With more than 300 associates nationally, Trion specializes in health and welfare plans, large-employer disability and life programs, benefits administration, integrated health and productivity management, and voluntary benefits.
"When we were evaluating endpoint data protection solutions, cost and complexity were our primary concerns. GuardianEdge lets us manage everything under a single umbrella with a very low operational overhead," said Corey Musselman, senior security officer, CISSP, Trion. "We looked at a number of offerings and found that using GuardianEdge meant we weren't required to purchase and manually integrate myriad different solutions. The GuardianEdge products are designed for ease of deployment and ongoing management. Upon installation they provided the premium level of protection we need."
Trion worked with infoLock Technologies to seamlessly and quickly implement GuardianEdge Hard Disk Encryption and GuardianEdge Removable Storage Encryption into their infrastructure. infoLock Technologies, a channel partner in the GuardianEdge Trusted Partner Network, is an information security consulting firm specializing in lifecycle data security and insider threat management services and solutions for financial services firms, health care providers, and federal, state, and local government agencies.
"Sensitive data is everywhere in the enterprise, including desktops, laptops and notebooks, USB devices, PDAs and smartphones, and other locations," said Sean Steele, CISSP, CISA, senior security consultant, infoLock Technologies. "For customers such as Trion, we work closely with them to determine a security solution that is tailored to fit their needs. For Trion, that meant understanding the types of information that they were looking to protect and the way that information was shared throughout the organization. Being part of the GuardianEdge Trusted Partner program enables our organization to better address the needs and demands of customers because we have absolute confidence in the strength of the solutions that we're providing."
With strong pre-boot user authentication and full disk encryption, GuardianEdge Hard Disk Encryption ensures that organizations like Trion have a premium level of protection against the compromise of sensitive or proprietary information. GuardianEdge Removable Storage Encryption enables organizations to maximize the business and productivity benefits of using removable storage devices and removable media while minimizing risks to data security. With strong, policy-driven encryption, it provides an efficient, cost effective way to extend endpoint data protection to removable storage devices such as USB memory thumb drives and portable hard drives, as well as removable media such as CDs and DVDs. When the solutions are combined, data is protected on all forms of laptops, desktops and removable media and is encrypted in the event any such device is lost or stolen.
"At GuardianEdge we believe that comprehensive endpoint data protection solutions need to be easy to deploy and managed on an ongoing basis, meeting the specific needs for each organization using them," said Ram Krishnan, senior vice president of products and marketing at GuardianEdge. "Trion works with confidential health care records and Social Security information, and required a solution that did not disrupt their staff's daily operations, while keeping their data safe. While GuardianEdge customers vary in size, market and data protection needs, each enterprise we serve strives to protect confidential information, preserve their brand reputation and avoid data breach headlines. We are proud to be known as a valuable resource for enterprises combating data loss or leakage."
This was exactly my question from the other day. I see no reference that this product utilizes hardened encryption or the services of the tpm or encrypting itself done inside the hard drive, YET this Trion company seems perfectly happy with Guardian Edge product.
The comment from Seagate's VP that software encryption will be history in a few years (loosely paraphrased) caused me to wonder whether companies like this are going to re-purchase new harware encryption security after they just spent a lot of money or is perhaps that comment by the Seagate exec wishful thinking?
I am also wondering if Wave even got to bid on this company's project for securing it's endpoints and data.

Microsoft Scoops up TV Ad-placement Company
http://www.pcworld.com/businesscenter/article/147223/microsoft_scoops_up_tv_adplacement_company.html
Microsoft is moving into the TV advertising realm with the acquisition of Navic Networks, which specializes in delivering targeted, interactive ads to users of digital cable set-top boxes.
Navic Networks, based in Waltham, Massachusetts, will become a subsidiary of Microsoft's growing Advertiser and Publisher Solutions Group, which is also focused on targeted Internet advertising. Microsoft did not disclose terms of the deal.
The acquisition is a logical extension for Microsoft, which already offers a platform for cable service providers to deliver TV programs over IP (Internet protocol) networks through its Mediaroom software.
The move also puts Microsoft head-to-head again with Google, which has launched services for placing both radio and TV ads.
One of the main thrusts of Navic's software is to keep consumers' attention by delivering ads that are relevant to a specific audience despite the increasing ability of viewers to avoid advertisements.
Navic's software can do that by collecting a variety of metrics on viewers. The company's HyperGate Transport can track what programs a digital cable set-top box user has seen, collect demographic information and record what advertisements have already been viewed. No personal information is collected or aggregated, according to information on Navic's Web site.
Based on that information, advertisers can then book campaigns aimed at audiences with certain characteristics using a Web-based interface called Admira Optimized Media. That software can manage the scheduling of ads and budgets as well as deliver performance reports.
Interactive ads can keep users engaged longer. Navic's technology can add overlays to TV ads, where users can press a button on their remote control and be linked to an on-demand video or to another analog or digital TV channel with more information about a product.
Polls or trivia questions can also be overlayed to keep users' attention. The results from a poll can also be fed back to the advertiser and used to sculpt more finely-tuned campaigns to groups of viewers. With demographic tracking, information on related local services can be shown on an overlay that's based on the theme of the ad already being shown.
Navic Networks' software is currently being used to delivered ads to around 35 million digital set-top boxes in North America.

Good morning!
I do not mean to butt into your conversation or comment to oknpv, but just wanted to share an observation if you would allow it.
Let's wait and see what the Q2 numbers reveal. They should either verify what the ceo said at the SHM or will demonstrate that over reaching was yet again the case.
Until then, we simply will not know much of anything.
Why not be happy with where we are at the present. There is nothing anyone can do about our current SP and only the market will decide what that price shall be.
If there is substantiated NEWS that is meaningfull to Wave's revenues that comes out, the market will price it accordingly.
IMO, no sense butting our heads up against a wall over something we cannot change or have no control over.
I understand your frustration and agree it has been a long slog. Nothing new there.
The 2nd quarter is over in a couple weeks and then it will be a couple months till we know those results.
In the meantime let's hope they are strong numbers and reflect the optimism of the ceo.
the best,
MIB
Hello internet
I liked your comments regarding hardware encryption, which basically means that the encrypting is done INSIDE a SECURE piece of hardware and hence can be trusted????
Am wondering a little about the comment from the Seagate exec as it relates in time, 4 - 5 years.
I am hoping that this does not turn out to mean that for another 4 - 5 years Wave will have to be crawling out of the station while those software encryption only folks, who ARE getting pieces of actions (orders) that eat into our potential sales, are still around.
I mean, there are some pretty big well established names out there that employ this and my fear (and concern) is the level of difficulty it will be to get enterprises who have purchased their products to shell out more money later to switch over to hardware based Security????
Do you have any thoughts along those lines? If so, could you please share them?
TIA,
MIB
Weby/Barge,
Hello to both of you. I know that Barge and one other for years were constantly promoting the consumer side of things through the vision of WaveXpress. I believe it may have been a former poster no longer here.
Anyway, As Weby noted, this is kind of what Barge's forte is all about, the entertainment side of things.
I was wonering if perhaps anybody could expound on what the relationship between the iTPM and MSFT and Xpress might be or have in store?
BArge hgas noted that there are lots of tpms already out there in the entertainment via gaming boxes just waiting to be used, and it does appear that this new iTPM from Intel may well just be what MSFT needs, especially since TV Tonic comes with Vista, and perhaps this may be a revenue gateway for WAVE thru Xpress via the delivery of secured and trusted streaming digital content?
Thanks for any insights or additional thoughts. I like our chances and I agree as someone said, the train does seem to be leaving the station finally. Better late than never, right?
Best Regards,
MIB

While it is good news to see the delisting notice being overturned or overcome, depending upon how one wants to view it, when one has a dart board, and approximately 100 darts, eventually one of them is bound to hit the target.
Let's be honest here. I have watched this compnay and owned it for more than ten years. I have listened to countless CC's and read all the SHM reports. I have heard SKS say numerous times when we were going to break even, and various other statements not worth repeating that turned out to be, shall we say to be gracious, "over-reaching".
Doma and every other longtime long has a right to be somewhat jaded and extremely suspicious of almost anything coming from the ceo.
It is a shame because it takes so long to regain one's credibility after you have told so many "whoppers" that just never happened.
I think we should cut Doma some slack. I enjoyed learning from Doma as much as AWK, BARGE, CM, Weby, DooWop, Surfsup, Countryboy, and several others that go back a long time.
I don't mean to be ripping on SKS here either. After all, people can and sometimes do learn from their mistakes so let's hope maybe this is the case and we will extend the benefit of the doubt his direction, as well as Doma's.
I am just delighted to see the notice removed and today's reaction to that as reflected in the SP.
Best regards,
MIB
Nice article Fullmoon.
That helps my understanding of key management and also shows why Wave's key management products, especially the server for enterprise use is such an important product.
I can't wait for the day that this is just common household language and well known and understood.
You asked me about myself. I am simply a common person who has been a shareholder for a long time. I am a reader and was encouraged by someone to say something once in awhile, so I did. I think this is my tenth post in three days and is probably too many.
Appreciate all the info many here have made available to the lurkers. It helps believe me.
Best regards,
MIB
Hi Snackman!
Thanks for this board.
Just wanted to express an "opinion" regarding the SP.
I do not know WHY we have seen this latest run of a couple weeks now, but I like it.
My concern would be that absent any supporting news we will head slowly downward until such time as that substantiating news would become public. Then we will see another, and perhaps more sustainable run up in the stock price.
I was greatly encouraged by the reports from the SHM and very appreciative of those who posted their notes.
Nice to see a LONG list of names wave has /is doing business with. I am of the opinion that traction may just be starting. I do hope that the management can find sources of capital that is favorable to the company, as well as the stockholders.
Thanks for providing this forum. It is "helpful", (no pun intended toward cm) and a good place to view various aspects of this company's prgress.
Much appreciated.
Best Regards,
MIB
Hi Ramsey!
That does look nice. Have you activated anything yet on it or taken ownership?
Also,I am just curious, but I saw a bunch of desktop shortcuts with the name GOOGLE on them. Did all this Google stuff come on the computer or did you put it there? Just wondering.
TIA,
MIB
Dory,
Have you looked at Northrup Grumman IT division?
They do a lot of computer security work with the government. And we are selling them something from what SKS said.
I am wondering about that. Any thoughts on that?
BR,
MIB
Hi Dory!
Yes, I agree with you.
Forget the rumors. That is what got us in trouble in the first place. Rumors are like quicksand. Nothing firm to stand on.
NEWS that can be substantiated and FINITE is a whole other animal and we sure could use a big helping of that! Can you imagine what some GOOD news would do to this current level of pricing? What if we had some SIGNIFICANT news or great news?
And I think you make a preety good assessment of today, especially in light of what the entire market is doing. Holding its own is pretty good imo.
Best regards,
MIB
RWK,
Even if one states that they do or have, you still don't know, but assume that what the person has stated is factual and true.
Sure hope this is the real deal climbing out of the pit and finally getting some traction. Maybe, just maybe this is the beginning. That would be sweet for many many people and certainly would help in changing the temperaments and attitudes of lots of discouraged long time shareholders.
Let's do keep our fingers (and toes) crossed!
Regards,
MIB
Hello Barge
I was wondering if perhaps you could possibly make some comment regarding WXP and TVTONIC with respect to these two sets of numbers please? The Over 60 million copies of TVTONIC now residing in all those Vista deployments and the 70,000 subscribers that WXP currently has.
IS there a correlation? Is the 60 million relevant or irrelevant with the 70,000 subscribers?
These are two very different numbers we are talking about and I am at a loss to reconcile them as to how they provide VALUE to WXP, in light of the ongoing discussion.
You have covered the consumer side for years and been basically alone in your stand with the exception of perhaps a couple of other posters. I think you may be more apt to be able to discuss this because of the amount of attention you have paid to the consumer side of things, basically not ignoring it, as compared to the sharp focus on the enterprise developmental stages of Wavx and its slew of products.
BOTH will generate revenues and from what I read, BOTH require(d) a great deal of "seeding" to have any promise of success. Your thoughts and comments are very much appreciated.
Regards,
MIB
Does it appear
like some afternoon profit taking going on to anyone else?
TIA,
MIB
From kingsfull's article Re: McAfee
I read the article and usual these folks make statements that are, well, not very accurate.
Here is an example.
The only time that Maiwald can envisage a demand of proof of protection might be in the courtroom where a company would demonstrate to the satisfaction of a plaintiff and a judge that specific information had been encrypted and therefore a security breech had not occurred following the loss of a computing device. But that kind of application is a rare occurrence, he noted. "We just haven't seen that yet."
My question for the board would be has this Mr. Maiwald seen a newspaper, read any articles regarding this loss of a laptop with personal info it, or anything before making a comment like this?
Secondarily, please correct me if I am wrong, but is this not what Wave's audit trail does exactly and is the reason for it?
Oh, please excuse my rudeness. I have been a very long time follower of this company and I did want to express my appreciation also to those who have posted their notes and taken their time to attend the ASHM in NewYork. Your news and comments are invaluable.
Lastly, did anyone take notice of that list of companies that was posted and go through it? That is some list of names.
I wonder if Wave will be able to use these companies as references to either potentially new enterprise accounts or perhaps to a governmental sector as a couple in there I am pretty sure already do business with the Federal government already.
Thanks for all the insights you all have provided on this board. You all have been very helpful in trying to get a handle on this thing called Trusted Computing and Wave Systems' huge part in it.
