i believe the release of uadited financials completes or almost completes the final steps to qualify for otcbb status. I hope that the company will be listed shortly since it should generate orderly market maker tansacitions as well as more creibility for the company in the investment community. A litte news here regarding startup of tailings production may be the spark that moves us onward and upward. still nibbling as i think the level here is very good for accumulation.
if it works out you never have enough. i believe this can be a huge winner. maybe a ten to twenty bagger from here. glta
just read some of new info on website. in my 40 years of investment experience, i have never come across a more forthright and informational company. That thet are so honest on the pinks, where anything goes, is even more impressive. Interesting that they are in the process of analyzing three tons of material to see how profitable the tailing Pulacayo project will be before purchasing the pilot plant. I wonder if they are still going to lease the first plant to generate the initial cash flow. Hands on smart management is the key to siccess. I truly believe we have a big winner here. Should not take long for some other smart investors to wake up. buy it when its cheap. we will not be at this level much longer if the analysis out right.
hard to believe 10 trades all hitting the bid of .02. i think the mms are trying to fake us out. expect a big move soon to the upside.
The calm before the storm. Low volume and little movement as stock meanders. The start of tailings project will gaive the company credibility with the investment community as well as needed cash flow to start the cerro rico mining. If we are on schedule for october start, we should see a little front running as evidenced by volume and stock price rise. Techies may have noticed the flat line pattern which is bullish. glta. iman
gentlemen and ladies- They don't ring a bell. It is my experience that major moves occur BEFORE news is released. If this company actually stars processing tailings in mid november I expect a liftoff from this 2-3 cent range to a nickle or so.
I think the money players will be here soon. If the business plan is viable, this news is really big for shareholders. I expect a good first move right here maybe even today. We should breakout above the 3 cant level and move to 4 cent range with little upside resistance. Maybe even a recommendation or two is also comming. Plan to buy more as the train is ready to leave the station. Real nice board here with good people. You and I deserve it. good luck to all and have fun. Were on top of the world
It is an exciting time for fmnj as it gets ready to start production next month with a project that will give it a profit of 200,000 the first month with ramping up to 2 million a month as the other 9 plants go on line. Once this business plan starts in October, I believe smart investors and funds will be all over this stock. I think that we will see a 8 cent pps by the end of december. If Cerro rico starts up in early 2007 the sky is the limit. FMNJ building a company from the top of the world should be the company slogan given the high elevation of THE CeRRO RICO. Soon we will all be rico.
The volume falloff is worrysome since it is difficult to determine what a large order on either the buy or sell side will do to the stock. If someone tried to buy 1 million shares at .026 would he be able to be filled. I doubt it but one does not know for sure. George Soros would test the waters when he was interested in taking a big position by first attempting to sell naked a few thousand shares. If there was a buyer, he knew somone else was there as a floor and would then buy back and add on big time. Maybe Marticilliscum would be interested to add a half million shares here to test the waters. BTW. The recent correction in the metals indicates that silver prices have little effect on fmnj at this time.
In fact, the amount of the investment has little to do with the affordablity of the stock. The more you bet the more you get and the more you can lose. Right now all you can lose is two and a half cents or your shirt.
Don't worry about dilution. The amount of shares outstanding is not reflective of the actual float. If the company can get their business plan working and earn real money in the 4th quarter, we will all be happy campers. So far all I have seen is a hard working management who continue to forge ahead with a viable plan to make this into an outstanding company. Patience is a virtue with new companies. If you hold on and believe in this management I think u will be well rewarded.
Thanks norel for highlighing the numbers on the tailings project. My calculations based on a net profit of $270,000 per plant per month leads me to hope that the company can have the 10 plants on line if they parlay the profits in approximately 3 or 4 months. The math: In one month company can build 2nd plant for $15000 and have $130,000 in reserve. At month 2 assuming 2 plants operational company nets $540,000 which added to reserve gives them$670000 allowing them to build 4 more plants for a total of 6. These plants would generate 1.5 million in income per month. Any comments on the accuracy of this reasoning. If they can pull this off, I believe this can be a huge winner for investors.
Ok math students. A company buys a plant for 1.5 million which makes $50000 a day. They plan to reinvest the 50000 to buy a new plant for 1.5 milion. How long will it take to build 10 plants. After the plants are built, what would be the net cash flow from the 10 plants.
Ok math students. A compnay buys a plant for 1.5 million which makes $50000 a day. They plan to reinvest the 50000 to buy a new plant for 1.5 milion. How long will it take to build 10 plantsw.
Food for thought. Does anyone have any idea of what the cash flow per day will be from the tailings project. It appears that the company has invested 1.5 million to buy a tailing plant that can process 4oo tons of ore per day. ? How much money does fmnj make per day on this process. The total investment parlaying the cash flow to build 10 plants is $15 million. How much time will it take to reach the 10 plant project. This info can be extrapolated when the company is able to erect the 2nd plant. It is an interesting progression, and has vast implications for the viability of the company. Once they prove this works, I would expect a investor, or banker would step in to speed up the process. Any comments anyone?
The .22-.28 spread can be explained by the low volume and someone who hit the .25 bid for 100,000 shares. Market maker then tests to see if seller will take a step down price of .22. If it doesn't get hit, expect the mm to move back to bid .25 to see if seller is still interested. Not much inference can be drawn on such low volume. Expect volume to increase later as the weekend nears.See we have a new poster who posts the esoteric message that great news is coming. Would like to know what it is and why he is not buying in front of the announcements.

and don't duck the question.
you got it. this price is a steal. don't get too complex. If it was easy everyone would push this up. believe.
With all due respect, your criticism is way off base. Perhaps you would like to invest in the protypical pink sheet company that tells you gotz. This company is way undervalued due to the perceived turmoil in Bolivia and the misfortune of having the nationalization announcement on May1, The biggest day for communists, coincide with the culmination of a major deal for franklin. At 3 freakin cents this may well be the stock steal of the century and your input may cost conscientios readers of this board big bucks. When the big money players catch on, probably around the time of bb listing, this pps will seem like a joke. Sometimes you have to base business judgments on your faith oin management. If you don'[t have it, get out now at a nice profit from the pre under a penny days.
Silverbars- In my 40 years in investing in stocks ,I have never seen a company that is so forthright in their business plan.As a follower of the mining industry, can you point out another that has been so informational about their business. If you don't have confidence in this management, I respectfully suggest you look elsewhere. This is a industry where greed is the usual motivator and fools gold the usual result. Give them a break man.
heading for the threes
you guys are quacking me up. let's hope the stock doesn't quack here or your goose will be cooked.
A move up on low volume is more significant than a high volume move. It is indicative of a lack of sellers and very often the big order on the mms book cannot be filled until the stock moves higher. This phenomena places the mms on the buy side until they accumulate enough inventory to complete the order(s). As we get closer to the significant news release of a commencement of mining operatios, the stock should move higher. A move above.032 should cause a runup quickly to the .04 area where there appears to be the next meaningful area of resistance. Not very impressed by the knowledge of the gentleman I spoke to at PR firm but they are genuinely trying to encourage investors. Looking for followup today to confirm the turn in momentum to the upside.
We will see. Oh ye of little faith. Stock will close above .03 today in my not so humble opinion.
bye buy 50 day moving average
Tzan- Please post the closing price for fmnj or any other stock for sept 7 since you have access to news before it hits the tape. I promise to keep the news to myself. Has anyone ascertained what the tailings will mean to the bottom line?
ok, here's my take on the news: Apparently this website has obtained an early release of the fmnj news which will be released tomorrow before the opening. There are 6 items that appear to be new news.1. The pulatira agreement with banker Kemp to finance the tailing mining which apparently has already started.2.Lawyers for ypfb and fmnj are REVISING the contract for the gtl plant.3.Franklin signed a deal with AyoAyo to build a small gtl plant capable of converting 500 barrels per day.4. An agreement was signed with the state of Tarija 5.a methanol plant will be built in Argentina by FMNJ 6. Audited financials have been completed clearing the way for Bulletin Board listing. All in all it looks to be a pretty ambitious undertaking by Franklin and if only part comes to fruition, this stock is highly undervalued at the current price levels. The 4th quarter may turn out to be a blockbuster and since stocks usually move before the prospects become reality, I expect the price per share to dramitically increase as smart money discovers that this is a real growing company.
keep your eye on the ball
Offer at .026 premarket indicates that something hopefully afoot. A premarket positive news release would be nice to see. A move today above 50 day moving average at .027 could signal the next bull move. Hope you are in for this ride FA.
Don't be so sure that community affairs are irrelevant to the future of fmnj. The basis for the corporate inroads made by Franklin are related to Jaime's standing and respect he has with Bolivians. He has oft stated his recognition of the present government's position that foreign companies share the wealth and success they acheive in Bolivia with the people. To understand how to do business in Bolivia you have to recognize the suffering the people and especially the miners have endured which has been chronicled by NYBOB and other posters.Hope the next news event expected this week will outline a timeline foe the start of mining operations at Cerro Rico.
i agree
Andy Austin comments should be very interesting. The article posted by stockobserver in EL Bolso is troubling in its criticism of the gtl MOU. I would like to know if Alvarado's resignation has any impact as to whether or not the agreement will be honored. A while back posters complained that they did not see Franklin mentioned by Bolivian press. Be careful what you wish for is the old adage. I would love tp see a nice 8am great press release come Sept. 5.
Good to see that the oil and gas companies are complying and yfpb will be reliquified. Maybe this will have an impact on the gtl plant. Nice firm close today at .024 with a .025 ask after market close. Hope to see a little news early next week to propel price above 50 day .027 moving average. Thanks for the level 2 site. It may be a profitable find for me as I hope to trade more actively if the daily volume increases as we head to autumn. Notice I didn,t use the word fall.
The mms such as ubs will be on the bid and ask to disguise a big order. Note that they are only committed to honor a sale at .0024 for 1 share. The real question is what they have on there book which we are not provy too. I would not be surprised to see a breakout as soon as before the close today.
Good observation. A little front running before we get to the post labor day period may be occurring. A move to .024-.025 would take us near the important 50 day moving average. Can someone post bid/ask cahnges real time since my service is 20 min delay. thanks
As an assistant to the moderator, your internecine warfare with a poster on this board seems to be bad form. You should try to rise above the fray and help to exchange thoughful ideas. Isn't that the purpose of this board. While you continue to maintain a healthy degree of scepticism about a raw pink sheet company such as fmnj, this is precisely the type of stock that can be a life altering event for risk takers albeit a bit too adventurous for your blood. As you may be aware, many traders were on vacation or inactive in August. A guess that volatility will increase in Sept. and the chance for an upside move here is not out of order. Finally, the use of foul language, even if some letters are redacted with astericks is certainly beneath you. Hope you take these comments as constructive criticsm that we all remain on the same page even if wr are not all in complete agreement.
Extemely low volume is worrisome as the stock seems to be off the screens of big money investors and hedge funds for the entire month. The sequence for a up move is usually an increase in volume, followed by an up move followed by a significant news release. This is sometimes referred to as the move before THE MOVE. A breach to the upside piercing the 50 day moving average, might be one indication to look for as predicting better times to come. Will be interesting to see what happens when someone wants to buy say 5 million shares based on a "lucky" hunch. Vacation time wikk be over after today, so let's get readey to mrumble.
Trueheart- What is your source that Shaw seems to be doing the GTL deal without fmnj. It sems that Shaw amd fmnj had a contract wherein Shaw would finance and build the plant that would be managed by Franklin.
Good post americano. Now that Juan Carlos Ortiz is the new pres. of Ypfb, I hope that fmnj relationship still remains strong with this state owned petroleum corp. It is interesting that the contract that got Alvarado in trouble was for the export and distribution of oil products and not the importation of scarce diesel fuel. Under the Sam agreement, fmnj gets 49% to arrange financing and manage the processing plant and the distribution was to remain the responsibility of Ypfb not a foreign entity such as Brazil. I have a feeling that the gov't thinks that the brazillians have been ripping them off forn many pre Ewo Morales years and this may be a perfect storm type environment for our company to thrive. I will feel a lot better if the state company improves its financial position. Perhaps Jaime is working on it behind the scenes. A comment from us in a release such as the post nationalization comment of compliance would be noteworthy.
