I'm quite fine with the solid bid support.. it will make others have to go above him and probably slap the ask themselves.
I couldn't agree with you more.
However, I have been allied - and I am now - with numerous companies who were far worse at managing shareholder disclosures.
I'm expecting early next week. Maybe Monday or Tuesday.
They seem to like putting out the big news at the start of the month. We had news April, May, and now it's time for June come next week.
No gap today.
Me thinks that we're about to have a fabulous day
I would absolutely love to know the truth and I think everyone else does as well.
If you don't feel like typing: please do tell me where to learn the truth
The MMs were forced to keep shorting, even after they were content with the trampled, artificially-oversold PPS, so that they could kill the momo and subsequently scare shareholders into selling at preposterously low prices.
If you don't believe me: just look at the flat-lined chart! Do you really think retail kept it steady like that for most of the day?
If shareholders don't sell on the bid they will be forced to take a major loss. Instead of the MMs making money, they will be making us more money than they cost us!
I firmly believe that large investment groups will see the opportunity in EDXC and force the MMs to cover their short positions while taking a lucrative long-position of their own.
IMO, and correct me if I'm wrong, but everything is going for us at this point in time.

Holy SHORT!!!
One third of the shares traded were short today. This makes me very happy to see.
Lol! - The MMs who naked-shorted and the ignorant retailers who shorted are going to learn not to make big moves before doing research!!
To understand the implications of this short volume, view this post: http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/read_msg.aspx?message_id=88477655
excerpt: Most MM's don't have a clue as to the value of a Company until they get trapped. If the Company has solid fundementals and a bright future. Then the stock will do very well. And the activity that caused the situation will prove to even help the future stock activity because it created an audience."
You don't sell to them, as you know that the shares you're holding are far more valuable than what they want to buy them for.
If done right, you sit back and watch the MMs buy back their naked-shorted shares at higher prices, since other, new investors will slap the ask or compete for shares on the bid.
I honestly think that the MMs are screwed in this if EDXC shareholders are as smart as I think they are. New investors must do their DD. Read the forums last 2000 messages or so and you'll be up to speed.
Once big groups catch on to what is happening here the shorters will be sickened by what follows.
EDXC - Long & Strong, Baby!
Market Maker Speaks Out: Ways of a Market Maker
http://shockertrades.blogspot.com/2011/05/market-maker-speaks-out-ways-of-market.html?m=1
Note the part about bright futures and solid fundamentals at the end - highlighted in green - applies strongly to EDXC. We are literally better off in the long run for the mistakes of the shorters.
I was an OTC MM for about 10 years ending in the late 80's. Since then I have been strictly an investor. Since I have not been that up to date in MM rules I will only make statements that I feel fairly confident are still accurate regarding these activities. By and large most MM don't have a clue nor do they care to learn, about the fundamentals of the stocks they trade.
They just try to make orderly markets. When dealing with BB stocks it is very easy for a MM to get trapped into being short in dealing in a fast moving market. Reason being; most of the MM's in this stock are what are called "wholesalers" this means they don't have retail brokers "working" the stocks.
So they have to rely on what's known as the "call" from larger retail houses. If a "Big" retail firm like an E-trade calls up a market maker to purchase say 5,000 shares of a stock, they expect to get an "execution" from that market maker. If he turns them down, or only gives a partial then the "Big" firm will go to another MM.
If this second MM "fills the order" then that "Big" firm has a moral obligation to continue to give future "business" in that stock to that MM who performed (his life blood). This will go on until he "fails" to perform and so on.
Contrary to popular opinion the "Big" firms Do NOT neccessarily go to the "Low Offer" to fill a buy order (Or high bid for a sell). They "Go" to who they think will perform to fill the order and expect that MM to "match" the "low offer" in the case of a buy (bid in the case of a sell). Even though this MM might in fact be the "high bid" and not really want to sell any more.
As a wholesaler he must perform or he will get a reputation as a "non-performer" with the "Big" houses and will cease getting "calls" which means he will soon go out of business. I mentioned above that this activity is very significant to BB stocks. I say this because most of the trades in these BB stocks are "unsolicited" and are done through discount houses.
With the above groundwork laid, let me try to explain how market makers get short even if they like the Company; Lets say that a stock (shell) has been lying quietly at $.25 bid $.50 offered. A limit order comes into one of the MM's to Buy at $.50 for a thousand shares. Prior to this trade that MM may be "flat" (neither long or short any shares). He fills the order and is now short 1,000 shares. He may raise his bid hoping to find a seller to "flatten" out his position. But before he realizes it a wave of buyers have come in and cleared out all the $.50 offers. Now the stock is $.50 bid .75 offered. Here comes that "Big" firm he just sold the 1,000 shares to at .50 with another bid for 1000 at .75. He makes this print. Now he is short 2,000 at an average of .625. The market keeps moving and now its .75 bid 1.00 offered. Now he has to make a decision.
Just like investors, MM Hate to take a loss. So 9 times out of 10 he will now sell 2000 at 1.00 making him short 4000 but with an average .81. At this time he would love to see a seller at .75 so he can cover his short and make a few bucks.
But instead the market keeps moving up. Now it is 1.00 to 1.25 and here comes the buyer again at 1.25. He doesn't want to lose the call so now he needs to sell 4,000 at 1.25 to keep his break even point above the bid. Now he is short 8,000. Market moves up to 1.25 bid 1.50 offer here comes the buyer now he feels he must sell 8000 here because "stocks don't go up forever".
Now he is short 16,000. And so on and so on. If the stock keeps moving up, before he realizes it he could be short 50k or 100k shares (depending how big his bank is). _________________________
Finally the market closes for the day and on paper he may look all right in that his "break even" price may be around the closing price. But now he has to figure out how to entice sellers so he can cover this short. It is important to note that if this happened to one MM it has probably happened to most all of them.
Some ways MM's entice sellers; Run the stock up with a "tight spread" in a fast market, then "open" up the spread to slow down the buying interest. After it has "cooled off" for a little while lower the offer below the last trade right after a small piece trades on the offer then tighten the spread so that the sellers feel they can take a "quick profit" by "hitting the bid" on the tight spread.
Once the selling starts the MM's will walk it down quickly by only making small prints on the way down with the tight spread. Another way is by running the stock up in the morning, averaging up their short then use the above technique to walk it down in the afternoon.
Hopefully after doing this for several days, it will demoralize the buyers. The volume will dry up and the sellers will materialize thinking that the game is over.
Contrary to popular opinion, MM usually Do Not Cover in Fast moving markets either Up or Down if they are short. They Short More. They usually try to cover after the frenzy is out of the market. There are many other techniques they use but the above are the most popular.
This technique works about 9 times out of 10 particularly in a BB market. However that is because 9 out of 10 BB stocks are BS. Remember what I said above. Most MM's don't have a clue as to the value of a Company until they get trapped. If the Company has solid fundementals and a bright future. Then the stock will do very well. And the activity that caused the situation will prove to even help the future stock activity because it created an audience."
Relax guys, this was shorted immensely for this to happen. Most MMs don't even know any details about the ticker they're playing.
If people stop giving away their shares at ridiculously bargain prices - allowing the shorts to cover - we will be going straight back up to the .20s and beyond.
Don't take my word for it though, just wait for the short report and you shall see. I have been refreshing that page every few minutes since the market closed even though I already know the data won't come out until 5:30-6:00 pm EST.
I will post it with more data the moment I notice it is out.
I seriously can't wait to see the short report for today.
These shorts clearly don't know what they're getting themselves into.
Once some big fins get a whiff of what's going on here and the compelling future of EDXC, they're going to do what they can to catch the shorters with their pants down.
Nice base set up in the teens-range here.. 15% of the public float is based in this range now.
Just came here to make the same observation.
Great volume, it seems that people are starting to learn about what is to come.
TNGL
I knew that these shorts were going to be covering here today.
They sold naked shorts all the way down to fill the gap and have held it down on short shares as they collect "gift-priced shares" from the weak hands who don't know what the hell they just bought shares of!
Do not sell to them on the bid, you will encourage them to continue with this nonsense. They are going to go up in flames if people are smart and hold on to their shares which have far more value than most people are aware of.
I will not be surprised to see that the short volume is over 5 million today.
I'm still extremely comfortable here with EDXC.
This will go up from here. There are great things in store for this company and that certainly includes shareholder value.
I have to go run some errands, can't wait to return - I am not worried in the slightest. I just sold some a different position to add more here.
Note: this message is not for the other longs here who know all too well what I mean.
Catch ya'll later. Don't have too much fun without me!
What a shake!
This will regain ground very fast IMO.
Can't wait to see those shorts cover at higher prices per share.
EDXC - Long & Strong, Baby
The B MM's have been at the shorting before. On wednesday they shorted 1million of ~2.6mil traded.
Be prepared. They will have to cover. This runs after the gap fills IMO!
Expect a massive bounce after gap is filled.
Good morning guys!
Here we go!
Congrats to all the new people within the last week!
EDXC
I couldn't be more excited about tomorrow.
There is no way in hell I'm releasing my grip on my shares and I know many other longs here feel the same way.
There is ~62million public float and I'd estimate about ~40mil is held by strong hands. The company is not diluting in any way either!
This will be over 3 dollars in less than two months, IMHO. I wouldn't be surprised to see such prices within the next two weeks.
EDXC
I just saw it..
I got back from dinner right before my post to see these beautiful developments.
wow I need to go do some push-ups or something. My cali-bud is going to taste so much sweeter tonight.
Goddamn right!!! EDXC is explosive.
This is going to be on the big boards before long.
WHEN (not if) marijuana is legalized, forget about it, this is going to be monstrous. I think the marijuana laws are going to change sooner than most people realize.
All aboard!! Last stop in the .13-.15 range might be today.
EDXC
Hahaha!
I don't want to brag but I believe it's 26% THC by weight. )
It's called Dead Head. It's so smooth to smoke and gives a very potent but clear-headed high.
I will be putting it to good use tonight, hopefully with some nice news to accompany the high.
EDXC
I literally smell green.
I got the medical-grade cali-bud on my desk right now.
EDXC
All aboard!! Last stop in the .13-.15 range might be today.
EDXC
I think we're waiting til the end of the week or the beginning of next week - which happens to be the start of June!
Those who are selling now will want to throw up this time next week.
It's about to get really hot in here!!
3rd consecutive day closing above upper BB and at consecutively higher closing prices? I think so!
Serious moves coming with or without a promo of any kind.
It's quiet.. a little too quiet.
:-p couldn't resist.
Big news about to drop, I'm thinking Friday is our day based on history repeating itself.
Either way, I expect we'll trend up for the remainder of the week.
I believe that wall on the ASK will disappear one way or another today or tomorrow.
Oh look! Someone is giving away shares before the real run!
Selling, especially at the bid, is laughable at this point.
What a gift. Shorts better take this opportunity to cover.
I wasn't expecting that.. Not after all the bid-whacking following the news released yesterday.
Anyway, I'm pretty sure we can expect some follow-up PRs and a real promo to begin in the next couple weeks.
This is exactly how I feel at the moment. Perhaps it will become something worth holding long-term, perhaps not. We do know there will be a pop before the fun do/don't stop.
At this point, Beau, you are just spewing out information we are already well aware of. If you're doing this because you think it will ruin the profit-taking of these guys, I'm afraid you're terribly mistaken. They will still take plenty of profits away from this if what you're saying is true.
I've said it before and I'll say it again: I'm not going to lie and say this is solid long-term but I'm also not going to scare people out of their shares before a long anticipated promotion makes them considerably more valuable.
Good luck to everyone, however you decide to play it.
Speaking stricly for myself I'm in this for a pop, take my profit and bail. It's not an investment from my point of view. I hear what you are saying but relax and take it for what it is.
GM all. I have a feeling..
..that the 10mil on the ASK will be taken off as soon as it starts getting nice chunks taken out of it.
Serious bid support on L2 now, wow.
For sure.
Let me clarify: I only would've done so with the intention to buy back in lower ASAP afterwards.
That gap pattern is over and I would certainly not sell in the 15s or pretty much anywhere else today.
Tl;dr: I ain't lettin' go of the shares I got.
It may have been a combination of retail shorting and naked shorting by the MMs. The MMs were selling short as it went up in the morning and kept doing so as the PPS rose so they could increase their cost basis. Then they rode the PPS down on a tight L2 to trigger a sell off and to close the gap. At the bottom they may have recovered their shares, at least in theory that is what they do, but if no one sells to them they're kind of screwed and have to hit the ask. I wouldn't be surprised if they gapped up just to engage in these antics yesterday.
I knew I should've sold into the bid at .1575 yesterday but I didn't want to take the risk of being left in the dust: EDXC has much more in store for us than a 2 cent flip. And bid-whacking is not my style, nor most of our longs here.
Almost a million shares shorted today? I don't think there was much DD done before these shorts jumped aboard. If $EDXC investors don't let any games or bashing that may follow scare them, then this could get interesting very quickly

We had our highest short volume today; it was all traded at relatively high prices and we continue to trend upwards with a sizable new base in this range!
It looks like this will get interesting quickly. I'll continue to be very happy with realistic realized gains on any given day - like today - when NO NEWS IS RELEASED.
I just want to point out that: today's close/candle marks the first time that EDXC has broken the upper-Boli and then closed higher the following day.
I'd conservatively venture to say that our blue-sky breakout has been confirmed for the first time in the past 3 months.

Great day today guys.
5% of the "public float" is now based in the range we traded in today. The longs who have been here for a while know quite well that this 5% represents more like 50%+ of the available float, since much of the shares are being held in the kung-fu grip of savvy investors.
We laughed in the face of Sierra and many other groups who tried to short this. They will be making up for the MOMO they killed sooner than later.
Don't be sorry for us. We will be sorry for you after the pump gets running.
This may turn into a POS, as many are well aware of the negatives, but it will not go to hell before it touches the sky - like any good pump and dump.
I'm not going to post here and act like this is a solid long-term investment but I'm also not going to spam the board with the negatives and get people to sell their shares before this runs on a long-anticipated promo.
People play Pump&Dumps knowing fully that they are going to drop fast, and this one happens to have an extremely compelling business model and sector. So stop talking nonsense and let's make some money in the scam-artist ridden penny stock world.
I suspect a promo + PR are soon to come.
Dummies on the ASK...
Whoever is bid-whacking at these levels will regret it very soon.
