D.inkie....ur a genus./
Seems unlikely to me. The PR would have been made already.
Pardon me if I'm out of line with this question but how does 30 thousand account for 12% of something that sold for 35 million?
I am quite sure that a careful examination of the financial statements (by someone other than the pathetic idiot described above) will disclose that e.Digital/Noriss received some cash for their equity position in Jabra and that it was all properly recorded.
As am I. There appear to be two such careful examinations underway as we speak.
ucansee...dunno. I wouldn't think they would review years and years of records. Probably just the current state of affairs.
BTW - Call me crazy but I think Edigokie is sweet on you. :)
Edigokie...
The fact they are trying to get someone else to file an SEC complaint ought to tell you something.
That's a good point. One which I have not overlooked. However, every other pinhead idea and skeleton in the closet I have heard long ago and long since explained away to my satisfaction. So much so that I am convinced there is a legal, good and reasonable explanation for this as well. I just don't know what it is yet nor have I heard it here today. Why should I care?
First, I am a shareholder. Matters involving the company I own are of concern to me whether they happened yesterday or 10 years ago. While I was not a shareholder during the period in question I still find personal interest in that the equity could have been put to good use today. That is, if it ever existed. So where did it go? That's all.
Tenderloin...thank you./
The reverse split situation could explain the reduction in the number of shares but it would not address the reduction in percent of ownership.
I'm sure there must be a reasonable explanation for this. It's just too obvious to be fraud, isn't it? So how does 12 percent ownership in a company evaporate? Certainly someone on this board remembers what actually took place and can shed some light. I haven't read the 10Ks myself that far back. Is that what I have to do? Is it some obvious thing that's being omitted by the "death to e.Digital" squad?
Somebody throw me a bone here.
Does Tenderloin post here? Apparently, all it takes is a phone call to clear this up. Perhaps Tenderloin would share what was learned on the last go around on this subject. No point in RP having to answer the same question multiple times. That's why we're here.

One often comes in the form of the other./
3%, 30%, 300%, I guess I don't really care what the interest rate is. If the loan gets us from point A (darn near the brink of bankruptcy) to point B (finally bringing in some decent revenue and maybe keeping this party going long enough to have the last laugh) I couldn't care less which usurer is hired.
The whole exercise makes me laugh. The bashers prance around and giggle as though a high interest loan proves some dirty little secret about e.Digital's finances. Duh! Just read the annual report. There's nothing more you need to know. It's revenue now or game over.
Pardon me for butting in and I'm sure JimC can speak for himself but I think he meant attractive for the buyer, not for us necessarily.
I think the safety is in the price. No way 2mil shares could be placed on the open market and maintain a price anywhere near 53 cents. These shares have to be held, don't you think?
No harm sir. I wasn't aiming at you. Just making a general observation.
On the other hand I doubt there would be much talk about his irrelevance if he had liked the product. I agree that reviewers do little more than blow wind but if we fawn over the good ones and summarily dismiss the bad that is a little self serving.
An interesting observation...These people always portray themselves as concerned savvy investors keeping watch over the unwashed masses. If this were true of what benefit would it be to spy? However, if your objective is to cause investor fear and doubt then it would very much be in your best interest to learn what is being said privately by legitimate investors. I think the exposure of these tactics speak volumes about the true nature of these individuals. Anyone who has wondered whether or not these people act with selfless interest should look very carefully at this behavior and ask why.
Looks like I'm officially wrong again. Head's up to everyone...If I make any observation that contains forward looking statements dismiss them immediately. LOL. Hey, why else would I be called Chowderhead?
Now that makes a bit of sense. Sorry I missed that. Thanks for pointing it out.
If it's anything at all I guess we should know by tomorrow.
Anyone else have a hunch that some not so stellar news leaked this morning? Seems to me like higher than average volume down has always preceded some dirt coming out.
Then again, maybe e.Digital is actually selling some shares into the market. It's hard for me to imagine that such a thing would be advantageous but what do I know?
As much as I hate seeing the price drop I have to admit that the closer we get to reality pricing the closer we are to the end of the story chapter of this stock. I, for one, would welcome steady revenue growth and real shareholder value.
Well I think that tells the tale then. This has nothing to do with e.Digital specifically. Thanks for the info.
I think the first question should be are there any other AOL deals offered with other products. That might suggest whether this is anything specific to e.Digital or rather a CompUSA deal. I don't have the ad so I can't look. Sorry. If indeed e.Digital is the only supplier with the deal then there may be something to it.
Mary...or the grass grow. LOL./
...speecking...? You can't be serious./
chief32...I don't think anyone knows the answer. I certainly don't. Barring some sort of clarification from either Hy-tek or Edig we'll probably have to just wait and see. Frankly I don't understand why Edig investors aren't owed some kind of explanation for the extended delay. I don't think you parade the Tréo at the SHM and then say nothing almost a year later when it doesn't materialize.
Sentinal...My two cents worth is that Edig is not involved in this. Of course, I'd love to be wrong but my hunch is simply based on the fact that there has been no press release. My enormous assumption is that once the product is announced publicly by Toshiba there would be no need to keep quite about the development. What do you think?
OT:cksla...It's "Bring Your Own ISP". It's a level of AOL service where you do not rely on their telephone lines to access the internet. You "bring your own" so to speak so they charge you less to use their service.
Orygun...We meet again! I converted to a cable modem about 9 months ago and I've never looked back.
Prior to cable modem:
2nd phone line - 22.00
AOL - 21.95
-------
43.95
Average throughput ~7.5 kb/sec
After cable modem:
Cable modem - 39.95
BYO ISP AOL - 9.95
-------
49.90
Average throughput ~600 kb/sec
Around 80 times faster for 6 bucks net more a month. Virtually problem free as well. I couldn't be happier.
Indeed. Very interesting. Thanks./
OT:Never mind, stupid me, I figured it out.
OT:My apology in advance for being way off topic here. Anybody have any info on RB/Lycos Network? I'm getting a new login screen and it won't accept my old RB login. TIA for any help offered.
Duke...I'd think in today's market we'd have to have around 100 mil in earnings per year. In tomorrow's market? Who knows. Do you think we can average 3 or 4 bucks earnings per device in royalties? If so, 25-30 million devices should do it.
Tinroad...Thanks for the new board. I don't usually have much to say but I love to read the discussions between the longs. Hope it works out.
btw - While it is a breath of fresh air the air isn't blowing very fast. The site seems very slow. Are others experiencing this too? Is it temporary?
Thanks again.
