Scope, I sold a number of loser stocks to add to LWLG. Comparing charts and potential against the stocks I sold, I'm VERY comfortable with this investment. I'll be surprised if we aren't back above $20 starting next year or sooner. We'll see, but I'm willing to wait longer...
L_R, I'm open to ALL opinions that aren't clearly FUD. I understand Real Estate. The Semiconductor Industry is outside of my realm of knowledge and I don't put any fellow investor on a pedestal. I respect your posts as much as I respect KC's. My personal goal is to understand the tech to the best of my ability and more importantly... see a ROI. There is a LOT of FUD on this forum these days. This isn't Monopoly Money I'm playing with and the House is holding the cards.
Thanks KC! I appreciate opposing views from investors who have more knowledge of this tech than I have. I appreciate posts that contain opposing views, provided those posts aren't coming from pathological FUDSTERS.
L_R, I appreciate your feedback on the topic. I'm here to learn, not spread disinformation.
Photonics technology is WAY above my pay grade, so I have no idea if Perk might be part of this research. The only reason the article caught my attention was the NIST/Photonics connection. Does anyone more knowledgeable have thoughts on this?

Craig Ciesla has taken a new job. I wonder if his role at 10x will include any Perk applications.

jeunke, we need more immigrants with skills. The southern US border security is poorly managed and it is bringing in very undesirable elements. I'm seeing this first hand. Fentanyl is one huge concern, but it is also the human trafficking. The cartels are making billion$ on their growing immigration enterprise and they are shooting at our border patrol agents. Most of the migrants are falsely claiming asylum, when their real motivation is to seek a better life and while I have compassion for that, we have laws that are not being enforced. The immigration crisis is placing a huge financial burden on our country and southern states. Meanwhile, we have millions of homeless US citizens who are being neglected, while our new "Guests" are getting handouts and housing. The US needs to quit kicking the immigration reform can down the road. The topic has been neglected for decades. I embrace immigration, but not the way it is currently addressed.
That said, I'll get off of my soap box. This is a topic for a different venue...
US Fabs are going to have a challenge staffing their new facilities. Immigration will play a role in that. Sloppy Joe has been importing the wrong kind of immigrants and trust me, I have a front row seat on that topic.

I'm definitely looking forward to seeing what 2024 has to offer. In the meantime, I have ZERO intention of selling a single share. I might lighten up slightly after a good run, but I'm in this for a multi-year duration unless I feel I need to lighten my exposure further.
I'm betting on October, but potential industry catalyst dates are Sept., Oct. and Nov., then an anticipated Shareholders Update Letter in Dec. I continue to believe Lebby will deliver, but I'll wait until 2024 for the fireworks show to begin. Sept. might be "EPIC", but I'm thinking ECOC in Oct. may provide a "Good to Launch" date....

Seriously? LOL!
I have the Iggy and Iggy Replies filters going, but still have to skip a lot of messages once I recognize what the content is. I refuse to feed the bears directly or indirectly. Once upon a time, specifically THIS forum is what compelled me to buy LWLG. While there is still content worth reading, the content has declined significantly from what it was a couple of years ago...
I'm Enthusiastic about LWLG, but I don't trust Bard results as far as I can toss my ex wife...
BTW, you can just call me Carl, as in Carl in New Mexico. Carlin was a non-conforming, socially inept, HILARIOUS comedian from my era. I miss that guy. 8^)
I'm comfortable with it:

Thanks Lewrock! The NASDAQ site appears to show MUCH more accurate figures! Something to add to my memoryblanks. 8^)

Scope, Fintel shows 29,781,002 , but I don't think that figure has been updated to reflect the Blackrock add. Vanguard seems to be there, but the Blackrock and Vanguard holdings above recent activity on Fintel don't show correct numbers.
https://fintel.io/so/us/lwlg
If you look up Blackrock & Vanguard on Whalewisdom, you will find both Vanguard and Blackrock's recent adds.
https://whalewisdom.com/stock/lwlg
According to the Whalewisdom website, Blackrock's current estimated cost basis is now $9.11 and Vanguard's is now $10.49. In my mind, it appears they have been averaging down with confidence, as opposed to selling some shares to reduce exposure... I'll take that as a BULLISH sign on their part.

Many electric utilities across the US are offering free "Smart Thermostats" to their customers. The thermostats give the Utility the ability to adjust customer's thermostat remotely. I don't have one and don't want one. I have no intention of ever owning an Alexa or Echo either. Having an Android phone and a computer are bad enough LOL!
Spartex, my FORMER wife's financial advisor was an attorney. It took her a while to see a ROI, but it worked. She reaped a gain and I suffered a loss, but we BOTH won over the long term LOL!
Dunno what to tell you Dan, but everyone's objectives are different. I intend to live long enough to see a ROI on this investment, but if I don't.... I have an assigned heir who knows to sit on this investment as long as they can or wish, PROVIDED that the company continues to execute. That decision is up to my heir. Meanwhile, my personal goal is to see a ROI for my own personal benefit. IF the company continues to execute, the end of 2023 should be satisfying. 2024 even better, assuming Ubiquity takes hold. IF that occurs 2025 and beyond could be phenominal. Everyone's investment goals are different. 20 years ago, a friend of mine's grandfather passed away. He had a significant stock portfolio. In the settlement of the estate, all of his heirs were very pleased with their windfalls. Around a year after the estate was settled, a stock statement was received in the mail. I turned out "Grandpa" held shares in Walmart, that he had purchased in the 1970's. Those shares were held in a different brokerage and apparently the statements for that brokerage had been tossed in the garbage, unread. The heirs were very surprised to see that their windfall had ballooned long after "Grandpa" passed away and his estate had been supposedly settled....
Dan, don't be a Dick! Many of our aging fellow investors are financially comfortable and don't have a big interest in instant gratification. The goal of many of them is to build generational wealth for their heirs.
Combined, Vanguard and Blackrock now own roughly 16M shares. BOTH of them are still underwater, but rather than selling a few shares at a loss, they've been averaging down. Does that sound like they are concerned about this investment? I don't know WHEN, but I think a squeeze is coming. October may be a good month for shareholders if the company can drop a news bomb around the timing of the ECOC. Per company guidance, 2024 is the beginning of the commercialization ramp up. We may not see any forward revenue guidance until the ASM next spring, but as long as the company continues executing on the biz plan, I'm fine with that. With the right catalyst(s) this stock can run multiple dollars in a single day IMHO.
Vanguard's estimated average price is now $10.49.
Blackrock's estimated average price is now $9.11.
I feel pretty good with my $7.66 cost basis. The big boys seem to be happy with theirs.
Apparently Blackrock has added 980K shares. NICE!!!
According to Fintel, Vanguard now owns 8M shares...

I follow Charting/TA posts with interest and appreciate those who share their thoughts. TA is Greek to me. What we need is a Catalyst or two to light the candle though IMHO. TA seems to work on companies who have numbers to crunch. When Lightwave starts tipping the cards, showing revenues and revenue guidance, we should be off to the races IMHO. When the company starts posting revenues and forward guidance, LWLG should start picking up Retail Analyst Coverage also. Meanwhile, we KNOW that institutions are paying attention. Patiently waiting....
Just for my own entertainment, I asked Bard.... I kinda think Bard is off by a scale of magnitude(s)
How many modulators can one ounce of Perkinamine make?
View other drafts
The number of modulators that can be made from one ounce of Perkinamine depends on the purity of the Perkinamine and the efficiency of the manufacturing process. However, in general, one ounce of Perkinamine can make about 28-30 modulators.
Here is the calculation:
One ounce of Perkinamine is equal to 28.349523125 grams.
One modulator is equal to 100 milligrams.
Therefore, one ounce of Perkinamine is equal to 2,834.9523125 milligrams.
To make one modulator, 100 milligrams of Perkinamine are needed.
So, one ounce of Perkinamine can make about 28.349523125 modulators.
However, as mentioned earlier, the actual number of modulators that can be made from one ounce of Perkinamine may vary depending on the purity of the Perkinamine and the efficiency of the manufacturing process. For example, if the Perkinamine is not pure, then the number of modulators that can be made will be lower. Similarly, if the manufacturing process is not efficient, then the number of modulators that can be made will also be lower.
In general, the higher the purity of the Perkinamine and the more efficient the manufacturing process, the more modulators that can be made from one ounce of Perkinamine.
I put your post on the Reddit forum. Maybe someone over there will have some thoughts on the topic. There are some very knowledgeable investors on Reddit who quit posting here.
My opinion and $6 will get you a Vente Mocha Frappuccino at Star Bucks. I'm just guessing here, but it's an educated guess...
I think it would be safe to speculate that much of the commercialization groundwork is done or making significant progress. The company has been on a hiring spree for over 8 months and they have, or will be taking possession of over 9,000 sq. ft. of Production/R&D space. It is my understanding that the new space was previously occupied by a pharmaceutical company and clean room air handlers are already in place. It is also my understanding that upon taking possession of the new space, it would take less than a month to make it operational. The new space is contiguous to the existing space, so all they need to do is knock a hole in the wall and install a doorway or two. I believe I also saw a new equipment expense on the 10Q. In my mind, there is no way they would make that kind of financial commitment if wheels weren't turning. Per the company, we know they have a 50/50 chance of receiving another award at ECOC in October. I'm guessing the odds of winning the award may be in Lightwave's favor. I continue to believe we'll get a significant catalyst or more before the year is out. My eyes are still on October at the moment. The commercialization ramp is forecast to be in 2024 and the company has enough cash on hand to sustain projected operations into early 2025. I hope the company gives us an update on the new space soon, but we may have to wait a couple of months. If the company keeps executing on their guidance, I believe 2024 will be a very satisfying year for investors and 2025 might exceed our expectations. It is evident there are other verticals the company isn't talking about yet, but we see clues out there. I'm a bit underwater on Lightwave, but I'm very comfortable with this investment.
Some on here might consider getting a prostate exam. It can be a life-saving event that might also help you win your pissing contest. During the exam, just make sure that the Dr. doesn't have his hands on each of your shoulders...
Lightwave appears to be making progress and while it's still a somewhat risky investment, I'm comfortable with the FOUNDATION it is sitting on.
I continue to believe that October might be the month of Cluster News Bombs. We'll see....
Vein, Patience Grasshopper! Ligthwave clearly has the industry's attention as well as institutions. Institutions are adding and ECOC is coming. I continue to believe we'll see a significant catalyst or two before the year is out and I've suggested several times I think October will be a good month. The company has said that 2024 is the beginning of the Commercialization ramp-up. 2024 isn't far away and I think/hope we will be amazed in 2025, but the jury is still out... We just need a few more contracts to get the ball rolling. As KC has said, and I agree, we probably won't see any forward revenue guidance until the next ASM, but I'm fine with that. The company is still working on nailing down "Market Acceptance" at the moment, but I believe I see that on the horizon...
THIS kind of information is pretty much the only reason I read this board. Thanks Lewrock! How will the shorts put a spin on this?
Xena, I was on TDA, but now on Schwab after the transition. Regardless of platform, I question the accuracy of reporting real time institutional holdings. I is my understanding that the 'Tutes march to the beat of their own drum, provided they meet SEC deadlines.
I wish I had access to REAL TIME data, but I suspect institutions are taking an interest in LWLG.

People who trust Bard to influence their investment decisions are barking up the wrong tree. Bard thinks Clinton won the 2016 election. One can ask Bard all the questions they want, wording the same question different ways. Eventually, they'll come up with the answer they are seeking. Bard is JUNK until it starts providing links to the SOURCES of its information IMHO.
Hmmm.... I quit talking to my ex wife and she quit talking to me. It was by mutual agreement and life is SO much better! What we have here, is something like a geriatric psych ward. This forum seems to have turned into a bunch of grumpy old men with enlarged prostates trying to have a pissing contest. Even with the iggy features, my feed is congested with things that I don't have an interest in. All I want to know, is how my investment in LWLG is doing. I think I'm in good shape but patiently waiting for further validation. Gotta get back to my gardening now. I have a turd pile to spread on the pumpkin patch...
Our strong team, technology, and IP assets have laid the foundation to further build upon our first licensing agreement with a next generation of milestone achievements through year-end," concluded Lebby.
...I continue to think we may get some significant news in October, to correspond with the ECOC.
pochemunyet, I agree. This is movie material. Too bad Walter Matthau and Jack Lemon are no longer with us. The movie title could be "Grumpy Old Investors". The plot would be along the lines of old men with enlarged prostates having a pissing contest LOL!
