A.O.,Chico237; All. While we Mark Time.....Article about Green energy. Mentions Rare earths. The entire article is worth reading.
https://www.foreignaffairs.com/articles/world/2021-11-30/geopolitics-energy-green-upheaval?utm_source=pocket-newtab
"Snip...A second source of dominance in a clean energy world will be control of the supply chain for minerals such as cobalt, copper, lithium, nickel, and rare earths, which are critical to various clean energy technologies, including wind turbines and electric vehicles. Here, the analogy to oil power holds, to an extent. According to the IEA, should the world begin to move with haste toward a more sustainable energy mix, demand for such substances will far outstrip what is readily available today; in the agency’s estimation, a world on track for net-zero emissions in 2050 will by 2040 need six times as much of them as it does today. Meanwhile, global trade in critical minerals will skyrocket, from around ten percent of energy-related trade to roughly 50 percent by 2050.
So over the course of the transition, the small number of countries that supply the vast majority of critical minerals will enjoy newfound influence. Today, a single country accounts for more than half the global supply of cobalt (the Democratic Republic of the Congo, or DRC), half the supply of lithium (Australia), and half the supply of rare earths (China). By contrast, the world’s three largest oil producers—Russia, Saudi Arabia, and the United States—each account for just ten percent of the world’s global oil production. Whereas smaller, poorer countries, such as the DRC, may be hesitant to use their mineral strength to exert pressure on more powerful countries, China has already demonstrated its willingness to do so.
China’s embargo on the export of critical minerals to Japan in 2010, in the context of rising tensions in the East China Sea, could be a sign of things to come...."

In addition to today's issuance of 4 million Enduro shares, in order to exercise its 100% option interest, Enduro is required to make a final $1 million CAD payment by February 22, 2022.

In the event that one or more NI 43-101 compliant resource estimates which collectively exceed 1,000,000 ounces of gold equivalent resources (being the sum of indicated and inferred) are issued, Enduro will issue 2,000,000 shares to Romios. About Enduro Metals
Enduro Metals is an exploration company focused on it’s flagship Newmont Lake Project; a total 654km2 property located between Eskay Creek, Snip, and Galore Creek within the heart of northwestern British Columbia’s Golden Triangle. Enduro entered into an option agreement to acquire 436km2 from Romios Gold Resources who has carefully amalgamated the area since 2005 from numerous smaller operators. The remaining 202 km2 is owned 100% by Enduro and was acquired via staking or cash purchase. Building on prior results, the Company’s geological team have outlined 4 deposit environments of interest across the Newmont Lake Project including high-grade epithermal/skarn gold along the McLymont Fault, copper-gold alkalic porphyry mineralization at Burgundy, high-grade epithermal/skarn silver/zinc at Cuba, and a large 9km x 4km geochemical anomaly hosting various gold, silver, copper, zinc, nickel, cobalt, and lead mineralization along the newly discovered Chachi Corridor.

I do not recall this being previously posted. If so, my apologies.
Most niobium currently comes from Brazil. NioCorp has a current board member who used to work for CBMM. Not going to draw a direct connection here, but
MINING.COM
November 12 at 5:58 AM ·
Brazilian niobium producer Companhia Brasileira de Metalurgia e Mineração (CBMM) recently announced that it had acquired 20% of US-based start-up Battery Streak with the goal of accelerating new technologies that employ niobium in the production of lithium-ion batteries.1
https://www.mining.com/brazilian-us-companies-join-forces-to-push-for-niobium-technology-for-lithium-ion-batteries/1
“We are working intensely with large partners to offer to the market, mainly for the automotive sector, batteries with unique characteristics, such as ultra-fast recharging, in less than 10 minutes, greater stability and safety,” Amado said in a media statement. “Battery Streak is fully aligned with this goal and will allow us to take an important step, allowing applications beyond the mobility market.”
Battery Streak’s patented technology is called “mesoporous pseudocapacitive material” and it uses nanostructured niobium oxide as the anode in lithium-ion batteries. In detail, the solution allows for the production of electrodes that work much like a sponge, with pores thousands of times smaller than a human hair, providing a very large surface area for energy storage but bringing close together the electrolyte and electrode material, which means that the physical transport distance of ions is very short. When energy is released, thus, there is no chemical phase change and virtually no heat is produced.
“The chemical reaction [common in other lithium-ion batteries] is not efficient and thus heat is produced as a byproduct,” Matt Lai, Battery Streak’s technology development manager, said. “Our batteries do not store energy with such chemical reactions. Instead, the energy is stored on a surface without chemical phase change, like a capacitor.”
According to Lai, this technology results in very fast charging, with most devices going from empty to 80% charge in 10 minutes, while also remaining cool to the touch.
“While everyone wants a faster-charging battery, from a safety standpoint the heat generated while charging is just as important. Battery Streak testing consistently shows that the company’s batteries charge between 80.6°F (27°C) and 91°F (33°C), well below temperatures that could generate enough heat to cause batteries to catch fire,” the executive said.
Lai pointed out that even though the company makes batteries on a prototype basis, going to market it expects to be selling more materials than actual batteries.

They do provide PPM for Zirconium, but not for Hafnium. I wonder if they are just reporting the 2 elements under Zr pending further separation?

They do not who has received the 6000 assays from the Drill program.
Since they indicate 500 m of channel sampling from Fox Meadow is being logged for shipment I would assume the 6000 assays were received by the lab.
Some Quick takeaways:
Fox Meadow channel sampling sampling will probably be used to guide next years drilling program (My take here.)
Processing optimization:
Increased recoveries on our key elements (Nd, Pr, Dy, Tb).
FE byproduct.
Concentrate the rare earths = smaller processing facility needed.
Open the possibility of making a zirconium/hafnium by-product.
Rare earth prices have increased significantly over the past year, and the upward trending price escalations are expected to continue.
Current and future price projections (Adamas Intelligence) will form the basis for the PEA economic analysis.
Results of voting at the Annual meeting.

VANCOUVER, British Columbia, Nov. 12, 2021 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Search Minerals Inc. (TSXV: SMY | OTCQB: SHCMF) (“Search” or the “Company”) is pleased to provide a corporate and exploration program update for the Company’s recently completed field exploration program for 2021.
2021 FIELD EXPLORATION PROGRAM COMPLETED
Deep Fox
Over 6000 assays from the recently completed 7000m drill program have been received and are being processed.
The Deep Fox drill data will be used to prepare a new resource estimate which will be incorporated into the upcoming preliminary economic assessment report expected in Q1 2022
Fox Meadow
500m of channel sampling work has been completed and samples are being logged and prepared for shipment to the assay laboratory
Fox Meadow is now drill ready for 2022 and we are preparing a preliminary drill program
Silver Fox
Silver Fox is drill ready for 2022 and we are preparing a preliminary drill program
Red Wine District
Dr. Randy Miller and his team spent 10 days in the Red Wine District with helicopter support for some preliminary exploration work and channel sampling of our recently staked licenses and the newly optioned Mann#1 and Two Tom properties.
PROCESSING AND METALLURGY
80 tonnes of bulk sample material are being delivered to our testing partner SGS Canada (Lakefield), ON. The bulk sample from our Critical Rare Earth Element District in SE Labrador will consist of 40 tonnes each from our Deep Fox resource and from our Foxtrot resource.
The bulk sample will be used to scale up our successful bench scale results using Low Intensity Magnetic Separation (“LIMS”) along with Wet High Intensity Magnetic Separation process (“WHIMS”) to produce a Rare Earth Element concentrate for further testing of the Direct Extraction Process. (see Search Minerals news release dated April 12, 2021 and September 29, 2021).
PRELIMINARY ECONOMIC ASSESSMENT REPORT (“PEA 2022”)
The PEA 2022 will benefit from the following improvements, and is expected to be completed by Q1 2022.
Increased Material from Deep Fox Resource
PEA 2022 will incorporate the results of the 7000 m drilling program completed at Deep Fox in 2021.
The combination of the Deep Fox and Foxtrot resources will potentially allow for an increase in the production rate compared to the 2016 PEA (PEA 2016) on Foxtrot alone.
Assays from Deep Fox have shown higher grades of the key rare earth elements used in the permanent magnet market (Neodymium, Praseodymium, Dysprosium and Terbium) as compared to Foxtrot.
Metallurgical Process Optimization
The optimization of the Direct Extraction Process in two pilot plant programs has resulted in increased recoveries on our key elements (Nd, Pr, Dy, Tb).
The introduction of magnetic separation into the mineral processing flowsheet will:
(1) produce an iron ore concentrate by-product,
(2) concentrate the rare earths in 15-27% of the ore mass, resulting in a smaller extraction plant and,
(3) open the possibility of making a zirconium/hafnium by-product.
Produce a mixed rare earth carbonate to supply the separation facility.
New grinding and magnetic beneficiation added to the flowsheet to optimize capital and operating costs.
Rare Earth Element Price Increases
Rare earth prices have increased significantly over the past year, and the upward trending price escalations are expected to continue.
Current and future price projections (Adamas Intelligence) will form the basis for the PEA economic analysis.

Dakota Boy: Good deal for you! It will pay off.
This is a Mid Western project. I would think a lot more mid westerners would want in!
LM; Well, I bid $1.00 US but the ask was $.99 so that what it ended up being.
(I'll do something like this occasionally, but I won't make a habit of it.)
LM; It is if everyone goes out and buys high at the close!
(I bought 100 shares at $.99 US. Anyone else?)

Enduro Metals Presentation
Mr. Cole Evans, Enduro's President and CEO will be presenting on November 12th at 10:15am Frankfurt time.
From Endurometals.com:
"October 18th, 2021, Kelowna, British Columbia – Enduro Metals Corporation (TSXV: ENDR OTCQB: ENDMF FSE: SOG-FF) (“Enduro Metals” or the “Company”) is pleased to report the discovery of a new alkalic porphyry system at Burgundy Ridge on its Newmont Lake project in northwestern British Columbia. BR21-001 intersected 331m of 0.71% CuEq starting at surface, including 146m of 1.00% CuEq from 139m downhole, and 18.27m of 3.00% CuEq from surface. The hole was drilled to test an area with some shallow drill holes and high-grade trenches (reference 2019 press releases) within an extensive geochemical/geophysical anomaly. The drill hole confirms a new copper-gold porphyry discovery in BC’s prolific Golden Triangle."
Brian 1976; Your; "Both of these pieces of info seem to have no substance and only speculation"
Having a shelf filing is substance and indicates that management anticipates need to take action quickly without the normal drawn out issue procedure. Whether it will be financing associated with start of building or issuing shares as part of debt service or management compensation is not known. See previous conversation regarding share price and share dilution.
While management is limited in the amount and type of information they can release there is an increase in communications from management. Mark indicated that the frequency of new releases would increase the closer they came to financing/building. Not as much substance.
The substance everyone is looking for is the release of the REE results and an addendum to the existing PEA with updated marketable product figures, hopefully before the Annual meeting in December.
The SP rise. I think that another obvious factor in the price increase is passage of the infrastructure bill. While management does not want government funding it might be something they rely on for a loan guarantee or strategic stockpile off takes.
Glad you took time to post, see Monocle's post for more info. There are a lot of us on the board. Waiting... Patiently!
