3jack, are you another alias for Bas, a.k.a. Dry Powder Man?
Partex Group
Does the eroding share price and market capitalization concern you?
Anavex is down when the market is down, and down when the market is up.
I don’t need TA to see the pattern.
Bishop isn’t a CEO. I also think he was so angry and flustered by Missling’s nonchalant attitude. Missling is a CEO, and should learn how to speak english more clearly if he wants to be a CEO headquartered in New York, not Munich.
You know this already.
If you call Tom Bishop incoherent, then what adjective do you use to describe Missling’s Uhhs & Duhhs?
Make sure you put in the address:
Attn: Custodial Supply Room A
Falconeer has been rather quiet on the board lately. Hopefully all is well in his world. I know he prided himself on his spreadsheet, and just how high the SP and his dividends from the stock would be.
Perhaps the hardest lesson for all of us is that of humility.
Bas:
By my count, you should now be the largest retail majority shareholder of the company. Congratulations on owning this “empire of dirt.”
Please don’t bother them. I’m sure they’re busy at work with Partex AI Group, devising a plan for world dominance in the CNS space.
I hope you are as excited as we are! Go back and listen to Tom Bishop on the CC—not his question, but rather his tone. It probably took every ounce of self control for him not to call Missling every expletive. The only thing Missling has proven thus far is how grossly incompetent and unqualified he is to be a CEO. I wouldn’t let this guy manage a lemonade stand.
Isn’t the idea to bring a viable CNS drug to market, and not just “rinse and repeat?”
The dry powder man has spoken!
I hope Missling is enjoying the skiing in the Swiss Alps. He really does need to rest and recharge. It tales a lot out of you when you design underpowered and inconclusive trials, and then have to filibuster questions on a CC to keep up the facade.
Keep up the great work, DM. Stay away from the mogul trails!
If you say so, George! You are excellent at making predictions. You might want to play Powerball-that’s how good you are!
Don’t worry—we have all these people with PhDs and other fancy letters before and after their names that “believe in the science.”
In addition to that, Soumit Roy has congratulated DM on “all the progress.”
WGT!!!
C’mon Bas, we need your dry powder!! The stock is sinking. Please save us!
With Bas providing liquidity through his dry powder, and Missling giving us world class leadership, what could possibly go wrong?
BTW, I would not expect any news this week. Missling is too busy skiing the Swiss Alps.
Need you ask? Bas always buys low and sells high. He only makes money—thus the reason he has all of that dry powder.
I won’t be surprised one day when he makes an unsolicited offer to buy out the company and take it private.
Bas is a financial wizard and genius. The rest of us are mere fools.
The stock has already gone up 3 cents since Bas has announced his intentions.
The Federal Reserve was awaiting Bas’ next move to decide whether or not they’ll be lowering interest rates any time soon.
Dry Powder man is back!!
If Bas says it’s going to happen, you can take it to the bank. I have never felt more confident now that Bas has weighed in.
So they have 15 minutes to present and explain AD trial results that have been debated for 15 months?
This doesn’t seem like an adequate amount of time for any meaningful presentation—nor does it give the audience an opportunity to ask questions.
Isn’t there a better forum to educate the ALZ community than what amounts to a 15 minute infomercial?
Great article in LA Times about Alzheimers treatments BUT……
Anavex wasn’t mentioned.
Thus the ongoing problem for the last 9 years.
Fast Track designation—now that’s a misnomer if there ever was one! Perhaps in Anavex’s case, it means that instead of a trial taking 15 years to conduct and report on, it will only take 14 years and 9 months.
This company & CEO are an effin joke.
I think you’re giving these imaginary people too much credit.
Might it actually be that our CEO sucks and the drug doesn’t work?
Hey fellas, AVXL has already had a major correction. It is down nearly 50% YOY. I guess it wanted to be a market leader in something.
Tom123 usually only predicts which way the SP moves after the market has already closed.
He’s a genius in his own mind. He and Missling would get along well.
Biogen getting slammed today seems to be leading the entire sector lower. Anavex usually doesn’t need any help from others in having it’s SP decline.
Having a useless CEO such as DM is also not helping matters.
Dow isn’t down 8%. What is the reason/excuse 4 out of 5 trading days each week?
The SP is down 8 % and there are still posters using that obnoxious WGT moniker.
What arrogance.
C’mom Bas, use some of your dry powder to prop up this pig of a stock!
Down a cozy 7%.
Nothing ever changes, other than the continuous erosion of this company’s market capitalization.
“Steadily recovering” SP would be heading closer to $10, not barely above $6.
Maybe all that dry powder you have readily at your disposal is helping to support the price.
By comparison, Anavex is like the Carolina Panthers (2-15).
George’s predictions are the kiss of death.
Yes, the weekends are when the dreamy-eyed WGT crowd comes up with their pie-in-the-sky predictions. Reality sets in on Monday morning when the stock goes nowhere.
I’ll play: Maybe the Partex Group AI Partnership (which has not been mentioned since August 2023) is so that NVIDIA is preparing to diversify into the biotech space by buying pre-revenue companies like Anavex.
This is fun!
All of this knowledge and expertise within their respective fields, and yet the SP sucks.
What we have here must be the opposite of synergy—perhaps it’s better described as lethargy.
You should ask Bas for some advice. He always makes money on his stock picks.
Honest question—Has Missling released the information yet that was supposed to “surprise the market?” (His words—not mine)
He stated this during August 2023 CC—nealg 6 months ago.
If so, I guess the market wasn’t very.surprised.
Great question—why is this taking so long?
Millions have been diagnosed and sadly succumbed to ALZ in that 8 year timeframe.
Where is the sense of urgency from DM, BOD, and/or SAB of Anavex?
Very sad and frustrating.
Missling looks like he could reprise the role of Jamie Gumb (Buffalo Bill) in Silence of the Lambs.
I can hear him saying in his German accent: “Put zee lotion in zee basket.” as Goodbye Horses by Q Lazzarus is playing in the background.
