neutral-ice..I received way too little response to my post to feel encouraged to pursue HISC at this time. PFNH, CHID, TTGH, NEOM, MOBL, SDGL, ONCY are all stocks worth accumulating right now, I believe the overall return among these stocks in 2006 will exceed 100% easily.
When HISC is off PINKs and sells at least one major port, then today's price might look very cheap. I could easily be missing an opportunity at $.05, but I do not like that it looks like insiders will make a fortune before the PPS is giving much of a chance of growing. Somebody convince me otherwise!
Greetings! HISC was my biggest winner in 05 but I got scared off feeling that insiders were over the line in sharing the future spoils. The outstanding shares considering the supposed 450 million + reductions was alarming.
All the reasons I was very excited about HISC originally seem to be progressing well enough, but I still do not have a good feeling for how their bottom line will translate into PPS. It feels like perpetual bagholding while key insider players profit significanly. The level of success HISC has to have to cover insider's "action" and then support and raise the PPS seem significantly higher than even their stated expectations for the coming year.
I would love to hear some good arguments regarding my concerns.
Good Fortune!
OT to rrufff, I could not privately respond so board please ignore!
Rruff, that 1/2 million conversion was nothing relative to the 66 million shares being cancelled. The $1.50 conversion is still firmly in place and Marks controls over 60% of the stock. I expect the refinancing to be completed early and that news will move the price up 50%. I think 100% return over the next 6 months is in order.
OT spencer, can't say I do remember, are you still in HISC? The last time it was at $.05 I was getting ready to buy at $.045. I have not been considering that this time around. Insider greed in HISC got too obvious.
Here is one for you to check out.
I got into PFNH too early, took my loses and hoping its still cheap after 30 days. It only offset a fraction of what HISC earned, short term, but could duplicate the gain of HISC in 2006.
Any talk here tonight about Google's 5% buy of AOL?
It is hard to believe that the Microsoft and Google are not going to attempt to be have the inside track with NEOM's bridge technology. They are both going to create huge Tolls eventually, but one will break ahead and secure advertising market share.
HOW SWEET IT IS! Thank You attendees! EOM
regarding taking money off the table...for investors who have generated considerable gains in their over all portfolio, capital gains, the holding beyond 1 year becomes very attractive. Trading has its place...I am INVESTED in NEOM and will enjoy the low tax rate when I do start selling some shares. I also a lot of shares in my SEP and certainly could have sold and bought back cheaper...not worth the chance of missing what is eventually going to happen here IMO.
Good Fortune!
regarding TS as a bad picker of stocks. In OTC stocks it is very helpful to have TS on the case of any stock you want to own. There are so many ways very good companies to be bad investments. Timing and insider greed alone can cost an investor dearly. I rarely find myself in TS's stocks, but then how many of us find ourselves agreeing with anyone, even half the time? But I am glad he is all over NEOM; there are plenty of potential screw jobs and to my knowledge he has kept his followers clear of the worst of those.
TS insignificant? If he told his subscribers who pay thousands $ for his microcap recommendations, to move on, you would be proved very wrong! His sources are significant; that does not mean he is right, but it means you want him on your side.
I own around $40K of NOEM, and have taken significant profits todate. And I am looking to buy more. My thinking is that this week could pass without news and nothing significant at the meeting and then we have some tax selling. If that is the way it goes I am going to be buying $10-$15K worth shares. I could buy now but I am going to wait for a larger bargain. If I miss, oh well, I am holding firm what I currently own.
Good Fortune!
"I have found only 4 with more shares then myself." Interesting what I see by only reading a hand full of posts...it is so common to see then used where than is correct...and that is not a typing error...a thinking error. Quality thinking is really an issue regarding this poster. Does anyone believe this poster controls more shares of NEOM than 4 of the insiders? Not judging books by their cover is not good guidance when evaluating the writings you find on internet chat boards. You have to figure out what the "cover" is to make any real meaning of posts.
Good Fortune!
PS no one responded to my question about no insiders selling for an unusually long period of time, almost 7 months now...please correct me if that time is not correct.
Is it correct that there have been no insider sales of stock since June of 05? If so that is a change in past scheduled sales and may be a very good sign that our wait here for dramatic news is coming.
Good Fortune!
lenshawn agreed! EOM
Exactly the reasons that NEOM is is a very good space...their technology is going to be a tool of the battle of the giants.
Gates' memo to his executives very encouraging for NEOM...here is small quote...look on Yahoo for full article.
"Gates included a memo from Ray Ozzie, one of Microsoft's three chief technical officers, which outlined ideas for broad companywide changes that can address the growing competitive threat.
In the memo, dated Oct. 28, Ozzie concedes that Microsoft has not led the pack on Internet-based software and services, and now faces intense competition from companies like Google Inc. Ozzie said Microsoft needs to focus on key tenets of the new model, including a shift toward offering free, advertising-supported offerings and more sophisticated, Internet-based methods of delivering products."
OT Buying PFNH today is a nice opportunity! EOM
OTJOKE: An old joke from "My Blue Heaven", Do you know the difference between a light bulb and a pregnant woman?...You can UNscrew the lightbulb.
Good Fortune!
No problem, I hope you own enough NEOM while you hold it to change that routine dramatically!
Good Fortune!
Zacked, reread my post! Where do we differ?
you tell 'em beacon27...pointing the way is appropriate for the beacon. Hey...beacon to the "bacon". Thanks for the LOL!
The numbers in that post prompt me to alert investors here to another stock worth investigating. CHID 50-100% gain within 6 months is what I am holding it for. NEOM is currently 20% of my stock holdings, and I am holding it for several multiples within a year and a LONG term hold of 1/2 my current number of shares.
Obviously different class of stocks, but there are not many opportunities like NEOM!
Good Fortune!
OT pennyheaven, Are you afraid to explore differences? Life is much more complex and beautiful than your post indicates. The fewer issues any one is aware of the easier it is to make such sweeping generalizations! The more man learns the more man realizes how much there is to know. Learn one thing and the awareness of a thousand new questions is revealed. Many of the the greatest scientific minds of all time turned to some form of spirituality because they were so overwhelmed with miracle of life and vastness of the unknown. Creationism without the amazing growing detail that science provides is hardly the beautiful inspiration that the miracle of life deserves.
OT PICKSIT, Jefferson's participation in slavery is similar to my participation in buying cheap goods made with slave labor in a foreign country. Because we participate does not mean that he or I did/do not want it to change. Education of the many is the ultimate answer. Tell me why text books in this country have been an obvious propoganda tool from the beginning. Tell me why the lessons suffered by the people at the hands of our government are not in our official Text books so the next generations can do different and hopefully better.
To NOT Rely on government, we agree! But my point was that ultimately we need to be able to rely on our government at least to allow the truth in our text books.
Picksit, OT, you need to read a lot more history, and not the crap put in text books in the US. On the surface of course what you posted about not depending on the government is obvious. You are not alone, in lacking the facts...left and right are ruled by the same powers, the fight between them is how the masses are distracted from learning more of the truth. A government truely BY the people is the only real defense against this take over. How could education be such a low priority in the US, the country with the most military power? Anyone that suggests that is not so reveals their need to read a lot more HISTORY, the key to education, is to know what has gone before, take the best of what has been... and improve on it. That is what some multi national corporations are doing very well...and they teach people to think and speak about governments such that it works best for their control.
This has been a rough week for stocks in general... news is better released later than during this week. I added today at $.315, getting close to 200K shares. My dream here is to still own 100K shares when the PPS is up to $1, and ride that to $1 million where I sell all into the news that will earn the next holder a double after a few years hold. I only own stocks that I believe can grow in multiples within a year; of those NEOM has one of the largest potentials, and as such one of the very few I have ever imagined holding for such large gain. Over the weekend I would like to hear from others what other stocks they hold that they feel qualify for multiple growth within a year.
I am currently very long NEOM, ONCY, PFNH, MOBL, CHID, TTGH, SDGL, MHJ. I am currently up over 150% from the beginning of 2005. I have bought and sold and bought again all of these stocks. HISC and VYST helped a lot to make that 150% possible, but I do not plan on buying them back. Thanks to those who particpate.
NEVER...average down!!! according to a system and if you are going to trade by a system that is designed to protect you etc etc. That is good for many, but NOT for me. I have made a lot of money by buying additional shares when selling is heavy and the price is falling significantly. You have to know what you own and decide what keeps you in the stock or takes you out, and certainly TA guidance has never been a factor that did that for me. Once you depend on TA I think you commit yourself to making money on small margins of correctness. I know it works, and computer programs help professionals trade their brains out every day. NO THANKS! No judgment just not for me. Yes I have taken a few BIG losses in stocks by buying down. But over all, continuing to buy a stock that I thought its time to move much higher was near has made up for those losses many times over. Missing moves up hurts much more to me than seeing PPS dropping. Trading on small moves up and down would tend to keep me from accumulating enough shares to really make that much difference when it runs up. This works for me because I only invest in stocks that can move at least 100% in a day or two on news that could be released at any time. There was a time that I was out of NEOM because when it was above $.50 the the last year, I did not believe we were close to news that could double the stock. As the price dropped and the timing for significant news was more likely, I started buying again. If the price drops from here, I am buying more.
I do not expect anyone to follow my example...but I thought I would share since the "NEVER" word really struck a cord with me.
Good Fortune!
Google/Comcast/AOL/MSN...what does their potential alliance mean to potential early alliance with NEOM? I hope to read comments from those who have some understanding of the possible implications.
I have no problem with your post; there may be some significant problems with plans NEOM has been pursuing. But it is like being engaged to marry a wonderful, beautiful woman you thought you want to love the rest of your life, and someone new walks into your life creating all kinds of problems. You may learn you do not want to marry either of these women and a third shows up with even more to offer for your life time of happiness.
When you have a desireable "package" you eventually get to the alter...for NEOM that represents the Nasdaq Exchange.
Good Fortune!
A multicultural and decentralized Group, Havas is present in 77 countries through its networks of agencies located in 44 countries and contractual affiliations with agencies in 33 additional countries. The Group offers a broad range of communications services, including traditional advertising, direct marketing, media planning and buying, corporate communications, sales promotion, design, human resources, sports marketing, multimedia interactive communications and public relations. Havas employs approximately 14,400 people.
With NEOM to leverage them, HAVS could be a good investment.
Good Fortune!
"Stocking elephants" is what Tobin Smith has been promoting in relationship to NEOM for well over a year. NEOM's value is heightened if BIG players are competing for a place at the table. NEOM's value is heightened if they find a way to bring more than one BIG player to participate.
Looking for a missed opportunities is silly when the hunt for BIG Players is clearly the focus of NEOM. Delays can be interpreted as weakness in NEOM's offering or it can be interpreted as strength that allows NEOM to negotiate longer with more potential BIG players and combinations of BIG players.
Time will tell...the evidence says to me it is the later.
I read few posts, so others may have addressed your point of view about missed opportunity. Certainly you have a valid point of view. I am not attacking you or what you have written I just want to give a perpective. The missed opportunity can be compared with missing the opportunity of swatting some flies while elephants parade by. The KEY issue for NEOM right now is not regarding the public (flies). The KEY issue is what technical and financial team is going to take NEOM to VICTORY. I do not want NEOM focused on flies while the elephants have not be signed to the team. The vision required to sign those "elephants" is WAAAAAAAYYYYY beyond the public awareness at this point, and I hope beyond most posters, including myself, on this board. So not missing the recent opportunity is more than OK, it is good to not be distracted by flies while stocking the ELEPHANTS!
How about this little fact to stimulate some more speculation on who is going to be a huge partner with NEOM. I think we have been thinking small. I think a combination of two big backers may be what NEOM is going to orchestrate. How about a European Telecom being one of them?
In Europe, KPN NV of the Netherlands recently said that the number of minutes the Dutch spend on free Internet chatting now exceeds the roughly 12 billion minutes the country's inhabitants annually spend on the traditional phone. The threat of the Internet is one of several factors forcing the European telecom sector there to consider consolidation.
lesnshawn, your reasoning is an example of how so many things are done without the public knowledge. That makes a lot of sense and it adds to the explanation of why the large run up in stock price well before information that could support it.
Good thinking!
Cabbie, TOTALLY WRONG about twenty years recognition of environment. THE Whole WORLD is going to wake up within the next 5 years to the HUGE consequences of our treatment of environment. When Northern Europe and US Northeast no longer have spring and summer without SNOW remaining on the ground the world will WAKE up for sure! Perhaps a little late but that remains to be seen.
Yes I encourage all my friends in the NE to start making plans to move west/south. How and why is clearly written about in numerous recent books, current scientific reports delivered to Bush's administration by their own picked top scientists suggest this could happen before 2010.
only time will tell whether the perceived delay was worth while. For so many a double tomorrow would mark the end of their holding. If there was then a pull back and a repurchase that would be good. But if it doubles again before they bought back, they would be unhappy short term "winners".
I thought registration was a one time cost and then a price per established link. To what extent these names will be resold or owned and rented by third parties will be very interesting. All that would be very different if registration is an annual cost. Do we know that answer to that for sure?
hopefully charliebunny is hoping to make a large purchase of VirTra soon at low prices, otherwise his desire to be a messenger is a sad story of desire. Actually either way its rather sad; making money or not while attempting to manipulate others justs wastes the opportunity to enjoy living. The price of giving is receiving.
I am looking to double or triple my recent first purchase of VirTra. Is under $.10 waiting too long?
I hope you are right and everyone here celebrates their success! I will miss that ride; it will not be the first time or the last time. I believe the Insiders in HISC are capable; I also believe there will be a significant shake out from here before it moves north, and that will correspond with moving to the OTC, probably next year. Longs here should be prepared to double down if I am right, or they need to be patient.
Good Fortune!
sniperflea, I have posted twice since I sold, months ago. For those who sold after my first post could buy back now at much lower price. When I jumped on a poster when I was long, it was because I disagreed with them, and I gave reasons. Your negative characterization of me prompted this post. Post about HISC rather than posters and everyone is more apt to prosper. I will be checking this board more often because I am hoping HISC will demonstrate something different that I can believe in again.
Learning who you should pay some attention to is a valuable investment tool. And no one who is worth listening to really cares whether anyone agrees with their posts.
Anyone lurking here that sold when I last posted? Unfortunately too many were not influenced by that post. The dilution could be OK if they actually show significant growth in sales. Unfortunately the roll out that I posted about here from $.03 to $.10 + was just that, a planned PR campaign that lost momentum. I assume that there really is not much strong evidence that this is going to change soon, because I do not see it posted. One more company promise that the end of the month will yield the audit complete to get off the PINKS! The strongest aspect of HISC for me were the people on board...but they are getting paid BIG and first. I hope some good information gets repeated here frequently so I will find it on my occassional peaks. I am probably not a serious buyer regardless of news until the price is under $.05.
FOR OTC stocks, I am long VYST,PFNH,MOBL,NEOM,CHID,SDGL.
I hope I am wrong about HISC for all who are holding...the key is to win more often than you lose and to win bigger than you lose...
Good Fortune!
