They will scratch their way through the season. Humbl has been done with them. That is why you saw no adverts and no change to the website. The didn't even do a URL redirect from the original to the new one. More traffic goes to the dead site, than does to the new site.... arenafootbalusa ...
And why is it a complaint instead of a contribution...that is what kills me. You can't always just read...you have to write as well. That is what contributing means. If you have to go off topic on dead board to kick start a conversation...so be it. It doesn't have to be a constant..it just needs to start a dialogue.
This is not their first rodeo. HSBC last year....and BNP then and prior. The markets in Asia work more efficiently than ours in many cases. And when I say "many"...think of it as "some"..lol.
That's an Asian market thing...big time! Refer to Hong Kong.

Pretty obvious eh? It's not healthy just bitchn' about ass hats and corruption on a daily basis. We get that thrown in our face via every media channel anyway. Constantly.
Best example out there:

That's our daily life now.
Bring something brother. The OTC is dead...I'll gladly talk about HUmbl...and I can talk sports as well regarding them...lol...lol. A team has already folded as of today in the AFL.
Did you not see the most recent news..lol.
For sure
LOL...same here. My MM mutual is my worst yield at a rough 5%...lol.
And just like that...it's over:
Arena Football League update…

Grand Rapids franchise has officially folded, and reading their letter it seems like this commissioner @LeeHuttonIII is a real POS. Over promising and under delivering is a terrible trait, especially when it has to do with players chasing dreams. pic.twitter.com/MEhzMhYv1z
Rates keep getting fatter.... short term and mid to long. Cash is fn' king. Buy that debt.
Follow up...does this make sense? Where are they playing and why would they be playing each other???

This is becoming a major discussion on line:

No schedule..no standings..no videos.nothing. Not even updated to 2024: © 2023 AFL - Arena Football League
On a related note, 15 million share were added one day...roughly last week. The exact amount owed to the AFL via Humbl at the end of the 2024 season. Also, the Georgia Force didn't get paid for their last game apparently(not sayin such is true).
On another related note...new shite' every hour....and it just keeps on getting crazier:

I would do that....but only me and Buckey ever chatted...lol. I was trying to make it a little of something ...could have been a great getaway...lol. Found it:

Not again. Why must they make more of something...that isn't.
Now that I stepped back am starting to think that back in 2015...they were correct and changes needed to be made then. I'm definitely not giving Amit the benefit of the doubt that I should be. It has been less than two years...and a current 9 year process of effecting change.
Gotta' be fair...all change is not perfect and always a work in progress.
lol....maybe?..lol.
That is why I shudder at the words "activist Investor". There is the short "activist investor"..and the long "activist investor". Two completely different breeds. The short is up front and not trying to bull shite' you. The long is the total dirt bag. They act like they want change to better all investors and build up the Company. That is total BS(not always).
In this ADVFN scenario..the board member resigns in 2014...and activist(acquaintance and colleague of the board member) start a hostile take over attempt the following year. They get busted via regulation attempting to shield an undisclosed build up of shares...and pause. A few years later, said board member starts up with these same cats and they finally achieve their goal...and now the board member has his son put on the board...and then he becomes CEO of ADVFN and Investors Hub:
https://il.linkedin.com/in/amit-tauman-9116811a7
On the other side...maybe two years is not giving them enough time to adjust. At present...yeah..kind of failing but some format changes have improved. The personal attack crap has to go though. I have become a bit more nasty due to the attacks...that's on me though. I guess it's just being around the abusive negativity..and having it rub off on ya'...lol.
Regarding IHUB and ADVFN. The primary point of discussion was the downfall of Investors Hub regarding the possible takeover and board change. I will try to find it...because it went into full detail regarding IHUB. It was the primary reason for change. Probably due to twitter / Facebook / Reddit ...et al. Changing technology.
We do not disagree on when the major changes happened. The ball started to roll in 2015.
Yes....
Amit Tauman, who'd been with the company in early 2022, became CEO at the end of November 2022. I imagine Amit Tasman is related to Yair Tauman
The AIM-traded firm had announced on 14 February that Tauman had requested a general meeting under the Companies Act, to remove chief executive officer Clem Chambers from the board.
Tauman also proposed Anthony Wollenberg, Amit Tauman and Lord David Gold be appointed as directors.
ADVFN said at the time that it had requested information from Tauman about the people he was proposing as directors.
That is not the point. The point is that is was the "activist investors" of 2015 ...the same ones that forced Clem to resign via the present board at that time(2022)...due to pressure. The result ...WERE THE CHANGES WE SAW AFTER SUCH.
The process to change IHUB started back in 2015 and took 7 years forcing the board to make changes.
It's the same thing Janice.
https://www.sharecast.com/news/aim-bulletin/board-reviewing-latest-info-in-battle-for-control-of-advfn--9366935.html
An apparent battle for control of ADVFN advanced on Wednesday, as the company said it was reviewing information on a number of proposed directors submitted by its former director Yair Tauman.
“The company announces that information has now been provided and is being dealt with following normal and required review procedures,” the board said on Wednesday.
“Provided this process is concluded satisfactorily, the company will look to send to shareholders a circular containing a notice of general meeting on or by 18 March containing resolutions proposing the appointment of the new directors in the form requested by Mr Tauman.”
Former ADVFN director Yair Tauman increased his stake to 18.31% from 9.44%, reviving memories of 2015, when the stock market tiddler – its market cap is just over £17mln – was caught in a pincer movement by two mysterious companies, Sweet Sky Limited and Shellhouse Limited, who together controlled around a quarter of the company’s shares (or even just under 40% if you believe certain online message boards).
Sweet Sky and Shellhouse tried to requisition a general meeting to force a vote on the removal of all the directors and the installation of a new board. In the end, the would-be predators chickened out after they fell foul of various stock market regulations.
It’s unknown what Tauman’s plans are but on the subject of getting it wrong with stock market regulations, ADVFN’s stock market announcement on the change of shareholding sniffily noted “Box 7 of the TR-1 has been incorrectly completed”.
As those that follow Guerrilla Investing will know, from my scribblings, in April and May of this year I predicted that a takeover of (LON: ADVFN AFN) was on the cards, being progressed behind the scenes and funded by an Israeli group of mega wealthy corporate elites, lead by the former ADVFN Director, Professor Yair Tauman, who increased his holding from 9.44% to 18.31%. Then enter the arena his ‘bestest’ business buddy, Israeli Mr Ron Izaki who owns and manages the IGI Group: Izaki Group Investments. IGI is one of Israel’s largest and longest-established private real estate development companies. IGI hold 4.31% of ADVFN
Unknown to most at the time was that those behind it had attempted to take control in 2015. That attempt was eventually fought off by the present board.
In order to wrestle control away from the present board, to avoid a repetition of the costly legal dogfight that thwarted their 2015 ‘kick the doors in’ requisition the Israeli Group maybe ‘Knocking on the door‘ as you read this with an offer. That ‘offer’ will have to be at a substantial premium to the current SP of 73p. Sources indicate that £4ish per share gets them home and dry without the need for a Requisition, that would almost certainly end up in ‘legals’,. How high could the SP go over this week?
Found it ..and yes...they are related:

ADVFN: Takeover Inevitable?
extracted:
Can the present Board of ADVFN: (LON AFN) keep control of the company?
That’s the question doing the rounds in the City of London as you read this.
Looking at the QXL history and the ‘contentious’ 2015 attempt at wrestling control of ADVFN, it’s almost certain, there will be further increases in holdings from both combatants in the fight for what the takeover group probably see as a potential lucrative cash cow that’s under-performed.
These are mega wealthy people and know the market inside out; Yair Tauman, is a highly respected, Professor of Economics at State University of New York, Stony Brook and the Director of the Stony Brook Centre for Game Theory.
The conundrum is, will those currently trying to ‘kick in the front door’ cease and desist and knock on the front door? If so how will the present Board react? Rumours current are that there’s a shadowy concert party pulling the strings, through nominee accounts from as far away as USA, Israel, Cyprus, Switzerland and the Bahamas to name but 5 of the many locations I’m hearing.
From what I remember..he/they were upset that IHUB etc(ADVFN) were losing share and not keeping up to date with trends and tech. They wanted changes...and those changes started to slowly happen.
He/they wanted to change the board and add one of them or someone representing them. The one cat was like 30ish
That actually fits with the timeline . I'll dig some more up....
Oh..the food board is free...didn't know that. The activist investor was that young cat(30ish) a few years back(on board currently?)..maybe it's been longer. Not sure if this was it..or part of:
https://www.cityam.com/advfn-fends-sinister-activist-investor/
Maybe I'm getting two stories mixed up.
None that are free Janice. I had a board specifically for hockey. They made it Premium and I was the only moderator(of course)...I can't even use it..and it's dead...lol. They could have at least sent me a message telling me so...but nope. The owner/s of this website(ADVFN) have just gone down hill and failed to understand. And that so called activist investor that wanted change..apparently failed. At least the changes failed.
The OTC is kaput for those past frauds and have also closed the door behind them. I used to love throwing down a very small amount of money on a penny risk play. Absolutely can not do it like before. D E A D lol...
I'm certainly not going to spend any money to talk about politics...or food..or sports..or music. That's just me...but others are the same way.
And to be blatantly honest...it's pretty damn hard to have an in depth, logical conversation on any board regarding an equity or market...etc.
Case in point...the DJT forum(both).....lol. Luckily they broke it in part but the political board is just crazy, nutjob, loonies.... spouting insane bat shit crazy ,everything under the kitchen sink garbage. Ha.....a little bit too many words there.
I'll talk about an overpriced market....ridiculously priced equities..out of control debt..inflation and spending ...shorts and longs...every day though. There's rarely ever any feedback though besides a few kind souls.
So in an attempt to create dialogue....other things are mentioned...like music..food..sports..etc. So you can either see nothing(dialogue)...or something(dialogue). This board is far and removed because it is dead..like this website.
What kills me the most..is that when someone complains...they never offer anything up. They never create dialogue or have an opinion. They just mostly show up and complain.
It takes others and all to create subjective specificity and facts. Where are they???
More problems with AFL:
Week two schedule change to impact west division; Oregon Blackbears dealing with venue issues
56 mins ago Anthony Carter
PHILADELPHIA — A recent schedule change for week two will impact all four teams in the west division.
The Billings Outlaws announced Wednesday afternoon that it will be traveling to play the Washington Wolfpack this Sunday. The Outlaws were slated to be on the road against the Oregon Blackbears.
“We were told by the league that the [Blackbears] venue had issues that needed to be fixed before home games were approved for further play,” Steven Titus, owner of the Outlaws told Arena Insider. “We were already headed that way so I had no issues with just going to Everett.”
Blackbears president Pat Johnson appeared on Arena Football League’s podcast earlier this week and explained the gameplay and venue issues during the team’s win against the Wolfpack. The league later deleted the episode on all platforms.
The Wolfpack were scheduled to host the Rapid City Marshals on Saturday. The Marshals announced it will have a bye week according to a “league memorandum.”
Although the Blackbears have yet to make an announcement, its likely the team will also be on a bye.
The Arena Football League has not shared a statement about the change.
This is a developing story and this article will be updated with more details as it becomes available.
That is a great town and a sweet spot in NC. Been there many times during 70's....had family there. You're only a couple of hours from me.
My argument was and is this:
https://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/read_msg.aspx?message_id=174332708
That 68% of all trades from that stupid software program can not determine if something was a buy or sale. The other 32% is a fallacy given that individuals buy and sell on both sides(bid and ask). Try to comprehend simple logic. Sick and tired of the sheer idiocy that is spouted.
Let's see how it does when EFFECT happens. Not sure if the swings will be larger or smaller through the sale. They may be larger actually now that I think about it. Both ways...lol.
You careless fool. And this?..:
You seem intelligent until you start writing.
Have to agree if you are active and up to par ...the swings are incredibly fat. And I mean really fat swings. Multiple 10 point plus on a daily fix...and are frequent. Both sides of the trade as well. From a buy/sell trade perspective...it's pretty sweet. Sure glad I'm just a spectator though..lol.
He's not the one attempting to explain..you are. Surf is just here to piss you guys off and call you all out. That's his gig and that post is meant to infuriate you. Which it apparently does. Morons still think people are paid to post..which has never been the case.
Cake walk....and good attorneys.
My man.
Put that bitch' on! I hate the Hurricanes way more than the Rangers! I'm still dealing with the Guins' trading Jake Guentzel to them. Where that t-shirt with pride.
Oh...I know...I just never followed up on my own suggestion..lol. I will now..thanks again.
This is the definition of "gimmick software"...look at this:
Apparently it can not "figure out" what you are attempting to say it "figures out".
Buy volume @ 5,022,203
Sell volume @ 220,477
!!!! And 7,680,549 in ??? volume that can not be determined
How can anyone be that naive to suggest other....just stop.
That is nothing but gimmick software. If individuals interpret that erroneously...that is on them. It merely tells you that a trade was executed at a given price. That is it. Again with the naivety...for fs' sake.
How pathetic. There is no third party software to determine a buy or sale of a security for any consumer ..be it security. The only thing that can be determined is the price and/or if such happened on the bid side or ask side....etc The only party(s) that know if it was bought or sold is the individual that placed the trade and said broker.
Quit being a clown.
This is correct by the way:
I have no idea how you are determining what is bought and sold, for no software can determine that.
