I'm good with that!

John,
Actually since they are percentages of different size blocks 22% of a small block may not be as big as 10% of a big block. In our case when you multiply the individual blocks percentage to the size of the block and then add up all of our acreage divided by the total acreage of the three block you get:
17.4%
I know it's only .3 off of your calc, but hey, I was bored the am!

Either way, it will probably be a slow trickle of news. My couple of months to list on AIM, may have been a little agressive. But I do think such listing to be positive for us and look forward to it.
Cheers
Brez
Seek the light,
I agree. As well, I think this article is timed well for an opening on the AIM in the next few months. Readers will have the company fresh in their mind, AIM listing arrives.
I see too much emphasis here on making sure we have great news now. Of course I would like that, but it would not make sense to me since it would highlight the region and invite bidding wars for not just ERHE but all other blocks and small companies. No major want that. Therefore I've taken the other approach, as long that we don't have devastating negative news then status quo and other wise is positive. Why? simple really. Had there been devastating news, our partners would have surely known first and we would already be done with insiders running to the life boats while the rest of us enjoy our meals below deck! No mass exodus, therefore no bad news.
My view only

Future Outlook 39/41
"With Total taking over JDZ block1 from Chevron, first oil from the Obo prospect will come faster than earlier expected, due to the planto tie back Obo wells to either of Total’s existing facilities in Eginaor Akpo field deep offshore Nigeria."
Yep, just like we thought!
Brez
This is nice in the
Challenges in the Drilling Campaign slide 25/41
"Absence of a deep sea port in the nearest shore area, Principe"
Well I guess the French building said deep sea port in STP will help! I wonder if its just a coincidence?
Thanks for the slides

PS. Let's all whistle now Life of Brian's " Always look on the bright side of life..."
Plumo,
I cannot find the quote, but it's always been "a portion" of the profit goes to repaying the operators costs, not the full profit. Therefore, ERHC will have income profit from day one of production. But not all the profit.

DG, Krom,
Thanks that what I though he meant but did not want to assume. This leads to a logical question in my mind. Please keep in mind that I don't know what Strat1 does for a living. How does one know if an Hedge Fund as stopped shorting to remove downward pressure, unless one works for the Hedge Fund or brokerage house?
Cheers
Brez
No mate,
I did not miss the point. It's still me me me me me......look at me... oh the brilliance of me....
Strategyone,
I am not in "finance" so I have difficulty in fully understanding when you say
"...one hedge fund manager that participated in the PP of shelf securities has removed all downside risk..."
What exactly does that mean? How do they put a downside risk in the first place (I guess like the other hedge fund still has). What actions does a company do to remove downside risk?
Sorry if it's a very simple question, I just want to make sure that I do not misinterpret what you are saying.
Thank you
Brez
Man,
aren't we oh so much better than others......Oh oh here everyone look at meeee I'm the best....oh here let me rub your nose in it.....oh oh look at me.
I agree OC,

You are probably right about Taiwan.
As far as known prototype of Stealth fighters, China and Russia are in the fray! But I am not worried, it takes a lot (A LOT) more than just a prototype to make it a 5th Gen fighter!

Petemantx,
I believe the answers lie more towards understanding the geo-political relationships with not only the companies involved but the countries for which they represent.
It is difficult to grasp decisions that are made by host countries when they could be based on past experiences with other country's foreign policies or perceived objectives.
So in short, in order to answer your question we would need to weight the cost, risk and reward of each company. What are we gaining monetary value versus the political risk of both contries involved, perceived positives/negatives of countries involved with host government/population, likelyhood of change in future foreign policies etc.
Obviously, companies objectives or desires to work with easy or complex fields gets thrown in the mix.
I believe the exit of the companies you mentioned, was due to an evaluation of the above and their conclusion that it was not worth their while for the potential monetary gain vs risks (all, not just production).

They previously tried, or have/had one which may or may not be current. But will not seek again to have another or to get one. Nice, basically we at least know that at the very minimum, Tullows engaged ERHC in the past to acquire a CA! Hey that's good!
Brez
Krom,
If I may offer a suggestion. Stop replying to all these non-winning, never ending arguments brought forward by some. This, may or may not be, a simple tactic to have "good thinkers" use up their 15 posts by being engaged in meaningless and endless arguments about non-events. Therefore effectively re-directing and monopolizing your energy and brain power towards dead avenues while you potentially let "real avenues" slip by.
This is a more sophisticated form of manipulation, which jams the board and key posters.
Cheers and keep up the good work.
Brez
Just checked, I'm good but friends of mine were on there! They have been alerted.
Brez
Krom,
Thanks, I am 100% bullish as well. Mind you I was bullish before this, but now I am confidently bullish!
It is good news and I welcome such association. Come on ERHE make a deal and tell us LOUD AND CLEAR!
Cheers (again thanks for killing one of your posts on this)
Brez
Thanks O Papa O!
Wow, it does sound good indeed!
cheers
Brez
Krom sorry to use up one of your great post but could you or anyone else point me to the posts that started this Tullow thing. I'm sorry I have not kept up to speed here!

Jim,
Nice "hat trick", 3 excellent, bang on posts!
I agree with all you wrote and I know that no matter how much negativity is being spewed here, the "make it or break it" time will come. This year, next? Who knows, but it will, why? Because the JDA, the Nigerian Bankers, the rest of SEO's friends who are influential in Africa will start to put pressure on SNP so that "they" can have their money. Therefore, my money will come when their's will. Or I will sell when they sell. But since SEO is still with us, I'm with him.
So I wait and add more Shares to my count.
Well done.
Cheers

TOB
First post of the year?
"I hope everyone gets some happiness and luck this year, if not bags of money and a seat on the Board." Nice positive, civil intro.
"Take some time to smell the flowers and rest your mind for the drama and uncertainty ahead" Subtle bashing. Just couldn't help yourself??
Nice!
Happy New Year TamTam!

We will toast to yours truly tonight!

Finally the end of the year! Probably another 20 days or so in January and we will be done with this cr@p downer of bashing the stock down so that all the well meaning posters can get back in!
Funny how the holidays always bring out the best in people!
I for one can't wait for today to be over!
Happy New Year

Man he's a bit of a downer isn't he? My prediction is that this ccompany is worth more than .16! So we are going up next year! The mood was just as somberlast time when we were at .12, and we went to .90. So cheer up your biggest decision is to either by more with a thought to sell/accumulate or do nothing.
Merry Christmas everyone
Brez
Krom,
You must include a time span with your calculations. look how long MrO has been posted and in the same time span I can assure you Oily had a better ratio.
Either, way you know as well as I do, that you're passing the time and this "ratio observation" means sh1t as far as knowledge. Just another pumper/basher working on his creds. Nothing more nothing less.
Cheers
Brez
So did the Meridian's, Oily's etc etc etc etc.
I know one thing: Every penny down SEO is $5,000,000ish down. If he doesn't jump ship, neither am I!
As far as the rest of the vodka bull drinking, riddlers, **updaters** "They know nuttin'"
Merry Christmas

I don't understand why the continuous massive bashing of this stock. We are already getting the end of the year sell off, do you all really want to drive this below .10 so you can yet again fill the boat?
Folks, get a grip of your emotions.
Merry Christmas

Thanks amj and Tryoty for your replies.
