Give me $5-6 and I'd be very satisfied. Taking Titan into Production and Sales is a massive, capital intense undertaking. I don't expect McNally has any interest there, the company will be sold to the highest bidder IMO.
Depending on overall circumstances, currency exchange issues are not always negative and can potentially work in one's favor as well. Thank you for suggesting my broker, but I am looking for a public on-line source for Canadian stock and warrant quotes. I had been using marketwatch.com but lately I've had trouble with the site. I haven't done new research yet, I thought someone on this board might have already done so and could save me the trouble.
Anyone know where I can get trading quotes on TMD and on the full series of Warrants? TIA
AMEN !!! to that BelizeMe.
Although didn't sound like very well attended, McNally gave a clean, clear presentation that should serve as the basis for future discussion and potential investment.
Everything really depends two considerations: 1. Can they keep the company alive financially while they run testing at the Robotics Centers over the next six (6) months and 2. How well have they succeeded in executing on the anticipated design and engineering of the robot. If the feedback is what we expect, this will begin to move the PPS.....not by much but it will bring the latest warrants into play. At .25 per share, a 150% increase, the market may begin to take notice and a R/S to get us on a better exchange begins making some sense.
It isn't going to be a walk in the park but maybe we won't get run over on the street!
BigT, the question is, can you use your after-tax money to fund a Roth IRA for another person (your son) or does the funding have to come from the other person's work earnings to avoid running afoul of the IRS? I don't know the answer to that question.
UPDATE:
Just did a quick check, indication is that Roth IRA contributions must come from your own earned income so check with your Accountant.
That's funny....mine's a pastoral winter scene of a snow covered meadow, oak and maple trees in the background and deer meandering about. Oh wait, there's a broken down shack over on the left where I'll soon be residing if the Titan PPS doesn't start rising!!
Personally I wish it were much more , but......
Dear Mr. McNally:
The recent filing referenced above has caused alarming speculation within a large Titan investor group. The OSC NOTICE TO THE PUBLIC stated that "Preliminary Shelf Prospectus (NI 44-102) dated April 13, 2017 was Withdrawn on August 10, 2017". This comes in conjunction with announcements of several relatively important new patents and at a critical juncture in terms of corporate financing. Also this registration seemed integrally related to the recent authorization by shareholders to initiate up to a 1:30 reverse split of the company stock.
Is it possible to provide any clarification on this action and whether it precedes some alternative financing arrangement or supplemental registration? We understand there may be reasons to maintain confidentiality on certain actions but it would be very helpful if you could elaborate in any way.
As always, we appreciate all of your efforts on our behalf.
Best regards.......Richard
And his response.....(just 15 minutes later!!)
Dear Richard,
As a formality, the Ontario Securities Commission posted the notice under Titan Medical’s SEDAR profile indicating Titan’s withdrawal of the Preliminary Base Shelf Prospectus dated April 13, 2017. This was related to a Preliminary Base Shelf Prospectus that was replaced with the Short Form Prospectus offering that was completed in July. The announcement was expected and is routine.
Thank you for your support,
David
Thank you for your efforts, IITF, I enjoy all of your contributions.
I think at 54 you probably are......LOL (???)
Hey TAS, what does ROFL mena?
Thanx Mustang, I also found Mr. McNally quite reasonable with legitimate questions.
New Warrants - have they been listed yet? Where did they move the "Warrants Info" on the website? I guess they would be listed as 'K' or 'L' but haven't seen anything. TIA.
When we first learned of the Titan involvement with Vipul Patel and the Nicholson Center at Florida Hospital, it was pretty exciting. It seemed like quite a prestigious affiliation. But in light of the subsequent announcement of FHNC involvement with Transenterix, that affiliation now feels remarkably "un-prestigious"! Personally, I don't really want any connection to TRXC and I'm not pleased with the idea of sharing space with them.
Perhaps it would be a good idea for management to consider alternative, possibly more price competitive, sites to shakeout the robot. I am aware of at least one such site in Miami that specializes in evaluation and training using animal and cadaver models when required and I know it has recently been involved in certifying remote surgical methods on the DaVinci platform. It's called the MARC Institute of Miami, you can take a look for yourselves: https://marc.institute
Perhaps a closer look at this or similar facilities is warranted.
Because Fred Moll is one of the co-founders of Intuitive Surgical. That simple.
Thank you.......
HDG, what was the actual date for the 80% IA?
One other point that was impressive to me.....Mr. M works late!
ST, Mustang et al:
I sent the following to David McNally and received the subsequent response:
To David.McNally, stephen, susan, kgolodetz
Dear Mr. McNally:
It is gratifying that a deal with Longtai which converts their distribution rights deposit into equity has been consummated (subject to regulatory approvals). Can you confirm that those funds (CD$ 2,000,000) have been held in escrow and will now become available for general corporate purposes?
Mr. McNally, on another note, I and many other Titan Investors are extremely pleased to have you leading the organization. Thank you for your continued efforts and good luck to us all!
Best regards.......Richard

To me, Stephen, Susan, kgolodetz
Dear Richard,
Thank you for your kind email. We’re pleased to confirm that the conversion of the distribution deposit to equity does effectively improve our working capital position so that we can allocate those funds for operating activities.
We appreciate your support, and look forward to keeping you apprised of our progress.
Best regards,
David
Sounds OK, but probably the deal just removed the liability. Still a positive for Titan!
Do we absolutely know that? Was the money held in escrow and is now made available for general company purposes? I'm going to query the company....stay tuned.
L'Chaim Sam !!! Thanks for your continued vigilance.
What's happening is that we are in a "wait and see" holding pattern with almost no volume. Stocks don't move on NO Volume.
HC777, see ya' bye......!
After all that has transpired (and perhaps more importantly, all that has not), the idea that Titan will partner with Verb has a probability of Absolute 0)! Still, everyone is entitled to their opinion, so good luck with that plan!
Thank you Raf.
Hey Raf, how can I get out directly to that Stocktwits post from Citi? (I'm not much of a Stocktwits user).
Just a quick point on the insider purchases....I would have expected that McNally would buy way more shares than he did. He blew an opportunity to bolster the confidence of his shareholder base. HOWEVER, Bernholz is also an insider and he just laid out over 100K on the offering. Whatever thoughts I have about the insiders participation, I feel a degree of confidence based on Bernholz investment. I can live with that for now. Long and, I guess yeah, pretty flaccid.....
Hey jfm, speaking of curing Alcoholism....look what I found!!!

Oh happy day, oh happy day!
And you BioBill, plus let me not forget Akanz! Best to you both! It's been a long 7 years of anticipation and frustration.
Sorry BB, R-T results followed by Big Bucks.....don't think Anchor shows up again.
BB, just so it's clear, I'm not doubting you!! You're just one of the very few who has the balls to put those kind of numbers in writing. Best of all to you!
Warm regards.......RAC
I think it's about $US 65,000,000.00 but I could be off a bit. Might be $CD, not $US.
BB, I just can't help but LOVE your enthusiasm! I really hope it's well founded with no remaining surprises to derail us!!
One can find reasons to be pessimistic about anything that happens with Titan. I prefer optimism for now, McNally is taking action and deserves a chance at turning this around.
Actually BigT, warrants are priced at CD$0.20.
Even the idiots get lucky.....once in a while. Don't expect it to be a habit!!
I normally save these types of articles discussing Amarin/Vascepa but the mutts at Motley Fool aren't worth the keystrokes. Sleep well!
ST, missed that.....thank you. Hoping this warrant makes it to the market. If the stock doesn't reach .20 by 2019, I'd be a goner anyway. The five year window is almost a guarantee depending on the price.
Rights generally are not dilutive to current shareholders since they are distributed proportionately as a dividend. However they are dilutive vs new purchasers because upon conversion they increase the total outstanding shares issued. They have the potential to put pressure on the stock price.
