100 share volume by this time of day!
Skavenger, I'm scratching my thinly haired scalp too. Typcally we have 25K volume one hour into trading.
JT, what do you see in L2?
Seems to me this is a watershed moment in this stock's history. Could this be what we've all been waiting for? GLTA!
Shrimclim
Thanks, J.T.!
As usual, you provide a thorough and insighful explanation.
Cheers,
Shrimclim
J.T., You are SO RIGHT about this...
Cecil realized the last 50 yards of this marathon is filled with land mines, snipers and ambushes
Dittos to that Fidelity comment, Mr. Rocket!
Armour - I'm with you RE the 50-day MA...
I'm no expert on TI, but I've from others who follow this arcane science and through personal experience that when the pps closes above the 51-day Moving Average for a "consecutive 5 to 7 days," there's a HIGH probability of an upside breakout shortly thereafter. I use the 51-day MA because I've been told it's a better predictor than the 50-day MA.
Either way, let's hope our PPS CLOSES ABOVE through Friday. If so, next week could be a joyous one for us.
Cheers ZERO Investors!

Let's add HAL DIVIDEND news to this discussion...
Hal's current dividend as of this month is $0.125 per QTR. That's $0.50 per share annually for the math challenged.
Feb 21st PR: "Halliburton Co. late Wednesday increased its quarterly dividend 39% to 12.5 cents a share and said it will resume "systematic" share buybacks. The oilfield service company added it wants future yearly cash dividends to represent at least 15% to 20% of net income...The last time Halliburton raised dividends was May 2007, analysts at Simmons said in a note to clients. The future goals imply a potential dividend increase of 30% to 35% next year..."
So, we've got the potential of dividends on 100K of shares reaching $5,625 per month by NEXT YEAR. I'll take that deal any day of the week!
Cheers,
Shrimclim
J.T., THANKS for your input.
I decided to do some of my own HAL financial analysis after my post. I quickly realized, as you so astutely put it, that STWA is a nit to them in terms of an acquisition. Besides, WHEN they get this deal closed with Kinder Morgan (in "formal" negotiations with one major N. American pipeline company - no inside knowledge, just my guess), STWA's revenues will quickly soar. Kinder has 75,000 miles of pipeline with every conceivable type of liquid fuel running through them. They're a perfect fit for the AOT midstream product. Besides, when you read the KM homepage, it sounds like it was written by the same person who wrote STWA's latest PR, not exactly, but the general flair of it.
My point: I completely agree with you and continue to consider myself lucky to have stumbled upon your deep knowledge and experience in this penny world that is so challenging to play well. Yes, I'm a fan.
Thanks again,
Shrimclim
J.T.,I love this HAL buyout idea, however...
Can you take some time to explain the HAL investor side, specifically, the effect of a 200 million HAL share dilution? Will HAL's board be able to sell this STWA buyout to their existing shareholder base? Just want you to help us understand WHY their shareholders would favor such share dilution IF we also assume the vast majority of them don't GET STWA's business model or they just don't BELIEVE in it like all of us do.
Just looking for you to elucidate for us all sides of this potential deal in a way that only you can.
Cheers,
Shrimclim
Armour, I think it's the Keystone-XL Pipeline map.
Take a look at this link to that pipeline's map (PDF).
keystone-xl.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/11/Keystone_Pipeline_System_2013-02-20.pdf
EXACTLY,02!
Subject to J.T.'s POSITIVE DD on this latest PR, I believe it's time to go ALL IN on ZERO. Folks, this is your LAST CALL to BUY this pennystock under $1.00. In a very short time (days), there's only looking back on $1.00 pps.
Cheers,
Shrimclim
Armour - Your first assumption is CORRECT.
NDA: lower stage of negotiation
Formal talks: advanced and productive stage of negotiations
"STWA is under non-disclosure agreements with five major multi-national companies, and in formal negotiations with a major multi-national corporation for the implementation of the AOT™ Midstream to their substantial North American assets, as of the date the Shareholder Update."
Explanation: NDA's are the first stage of a serious feasibility negotiation. Clients don't bother to sign an NDA unless they are serious because they have to get attorney's involved to approve the NDA language. That said, the next step is FORMAL negotiation. In my experience with Fortune 100 sales negotiations, a FORMAL negotiation is a forgone conclusion of a bonafide SALE. Why? Because what's the point of expending negotiating resources if you're not interested in buying the product or service. So, from the STWA sales pipeline perspective, this one deal is IN THE BAG only awaiting the attorneys to agree on the contract language and then CEO signatures.
Shrimclim.
Our ship is in the harbor waiting to be offloaded!
STWA's PROGRESS POINTS:
* AOT supply line infrastructure in place.
* STWA management team in place.
* Intellectual Propert protection team in place.
* Uplist planning initiated + legal team in place.
* Sarbox regulations soon to be in compliance.
* "Formal" negotiations with major pipeliner in the works.
I give it 6 weeks of negotiation, then we get the BIG NEWS. In the meantime, the pps rises steadily toward who knows how high.
Congrats, Everyone, on your wise and patient investing!
Cheers,
Shrimclim
J.T. - I totally agree with your assessment.
Just look at the Feb. 20 PR headline:
STWA AOT Midstream Oil Pipeline
Efficiency System (being) Readied for North
American Installations
They're clearly shipping this latest version of AOT to "North American" customer(s). Who cares about China? We've got a contract with a good old American or Canadian pipeline operator.
BTW, recall Obama's latest golf outing with Tiger Woods last weekend? Well, I learned via media reports that the reason Obama didn't allow the media onto the golf course that weekend to take pics was because of who was playing with them. Yes, you guessed it! The Keystone Excel Pipeline management/sales team was lobbying Obama for his approval while playing golf with him.
Interesting chain of circumstances, YES? Guys/Gals, we're in for a FANTASTIC uphill run very soon!
Cheers,
Shrimclim
Here's the MONEY LINE in this release:
“This first unit has been manufactured with specific end users in mind. We have developed this product with a lot of feedback and insight from our commercial relationships and supply chain members, and look forward to a very bright 2013."
Happy Trading!
Shrimclim
JT - You are a fount of knowledge! Thanks for this tidbit of tax info. I've been wondering about HOW you active traders handled "wash sale" taxes and LT capital losses for awhile now. Truly appreciate your sharing these resources with the rest of us novices.
Cheers,
Shrimclim
JT, You did in fact predict this exact "tree shaking" event prior to the release of big news. Once again,Kudos to your expertise in these matters!
Cheers,
Shrimclim
JT, Does Andrew Haag have your thoughts on this takeover protection topic? I recall an earlier post in which you detailed some solutions you believed your could help them with. Do you think they're listening and taking your advice?
Cheers,
Shrimclim
J.T., Tanks (my attempt at an automobile pun ) for the STWA history lesson and for correcting DU's misinformation. BTW, just let us know where you end up, if iHub fails to do a proper cultural cleansing of any miscreants on this board.
We'll make the move with you.
Cheers,
Shrimclim
AMENski!
My PM was just submitted to you.
I would like to hear from those who attended the STWA SH meeting last September...seems so long ago now.
Here are my thoughts and questions. I read the many posts from attendees of this meeting. The optimism from all was UNBRIDLED to put it conservatively. Expectations from that meeting were for a significant contract by Thanksgiving. Since then, expectations have moved forward to Christmas, then New Years, now Valentines Day, etc.
What I would like to know from any of you who attended the SH meeting is what specifically did Cecil et al present that made you all so confident that contract news was imminent? I didn't read anything specific in the posts that clearly pointed to imminent contract news.
Don't misunderstand me. I believe in ZERO, but I want to know what was said at that meeting that was so convincing regarding contracts.
Cheers,
Shrimclim
JT, Thanks for looking out for all of our interests in the long-term success of this pennystock.
Cheers,
Shrimclim
Thanks, JT. Consider me "schooled." :-0
"59M or less left on the float"
JT, a novice's trading question: What is the difference in how you calculate or determine float versus the iHUB Detailed Quote calculation of 125.26M? Just trying to learn from the master. Thanks!
Shrimclim
JT, It is clear to me that you follow stocks because it's your passion. I for one applaud you for pursuing your passion with uninhibited joy and then sharing the knowledge gained with complete strangers. Keep making predictions. You've got the creds to back it up. Cheers to you, Dude!
So, the average interval between STWA PRs from Aug 7 to Dec 14 equals 2.4 weeks. From the last PR on Dec 14 till today equals 5.4 weeks. I think we are long overdue!
