I have owned a Gold equity for about 10 years, where the CEO is invested in about 20 Small Jr. Miners. He has his own Private Financial Arm/Company. His reason for this, is at least two fold, Tax Purposes and Autonomy. Since he does not need to file with the SEC, only the Company he is investing in needs to. Which makes it hard to find out which companies he's invested his Personal wealth in. Through hard DD and time I've been able to uncover 22 so far. I do it because I'm looking for Future Possibilities of M&A with one these companies, and my own Investment Purposes.
As in the past, when he owns 20% or more of a Company he tends to Aquire it. (Grin)

Someone here got word from Mark, that ACS misspoke, they have not Paid SFOR.

In an interview, can't remember which one, Mark had stated after a Major Deal was done, ACS would be Paying at that time.

Lolaspike, I agree with most everything, except

SFOR still owns the Patents on GID & MT, until such Time as ACS pays the $9M. Right now ACS still Pays SFOR.

Right on about the Royaltie$, that's were the Real Fun begin$.

That's why after the MSFT settlement, the real Marketing push came into to play, with Target last July followed by Staples, Office Depot, Office Max, Best Buy and as insert-text-here has mentioned in relation to Royaliies aspect of HSN. Whether the Settlements are for $10M or $100M, the past Royaliies owed owed is where the real Money is.

Not a consideration I have heard Mentioned, accept what Z has just Touched on when mentioning HSN, but I know he knows what the deal is when it comes to Royalties. Although Z may produce a Lot of DD, he still holds his cards close to his vest.

Another factor that plays in to the Settlement Amount from the Lawsuits is whether the Utility Patents are or considered as Software OT Telecommunication Patents. Looking at Ram Pemmaraju's Background as having spent 9 years as Chief Architect at Bell Labs..

I hoping the Patents are considered Telecommunications Patents, as that can make a difference in the Settlement Amounts by around $70M.

There are just a number of things thus far I have not seen brought up on the Board, at least since I began Posting. I too hold some cards close to the Vest. Which when I LOL at some of the absurdities I see posted by some, it's not just LOL, it's a real Belly Laugh.

I also see the Microsoft Settlement and its use of MFA as a Plus when it comes to the Companies in the current Suits as far Royalties also. The MSFT Settlement was worth far more than the $9.7M SFOR was paid, imo.

But then I guess I'm still suppose to be thinking inside the box, not Outside the Box, looking around.

Perhaps you don't understand the SFOR Business Model Concept.

I can either go to work for a living to gain Income Directly, or through my Networking contacts get my brother making $30 an hour a Job paying $300 and he pays me THE Salary I was getting. Sure less work for me..

SFOR has only a few employees, they probably Enjoy that and the Work Atmosphere and they outsource all the day to day drudgery Tasks of Marketing, Distribution, Warehouse Product storage, Inventory Management, Network and Cloud Management, etc, for a small percentage they Pay these Companies.

Sure beats dealing with the Headaches and cost of having HR, a 401K Plan, Health Insurance, employees out sick or on maternity leave.

Not to mention a lot less work, the Income still comes in as you Grow the Business is what it's all about.

Not having a huge Building housing dozens of employees, not having to Furnish such a Facilitity, Purchasing Office Equipment, Office supplies and Technology for all these people to use.

Peaceful Serenity amoung Co-Workers/Friends you've known for a decade or two, whom you can Trust and won't not walkout the door with Trade Secects.

So who deF__K cares if they have a SAM or not. It's does not really pertain to the Business Model.

Microsoft will be benificial to SFOR. Whether SFOR gets a dime of royalty from MSFT on OBBA or not, money will most likely flow into to SFOR due to the Deal with MSFT, beyond the $9.7M Settlement from Mr. Softy. And not just due to the explanation below.

But as I explained on your comment before, explained here a differently, the point of the MSFT MFA Transaction Pricing List I sent to ZPaul, was not to say SFOR would be getting anything from Mr. Softy on MFA Transaction Actions. It was to give an Idea about what is being Charged for MFA Transactions and how it may relate to the Multitude of Infringers on SFOR's IP, and the possible addition of additional $$$ added to Royalties recieved from those infrigers.

Again, that post was to Z and he most likely understood the point of the info I sent.

I had no idea you would have chimed in, with a different view point of what I had posted. And then only had to make more posts and PM's to explain in detail.

About a year or so a go I found a company, I have to go look it up forgot the Name, that make a special Metal Detector that utilizes special minerals to work. It can be fine tuned for the Mineral your are looking for, a little expensive, and you have to fly out to their Location to be trained on its use before Purchasing.

It has a Much Greater Range than your average Metal Detector too. Yeah if I remember it cost around $2500. But considering what you are looking for on the beaches down here well worth it.

As you can see, I like to have a little fun in my posts, not unlike ole JD. Stock boards have their problems with Shorters those with an agenda, etc. JD adds something to break the monotony over the everyday typical Posts, News and Informational articles on Gold. And you might just learn something new and useful stuff too from the added content and Videos, not to mention some excellent quality GraveYard Shift Videos at the same time.

I have not posted often here, but have been in PM equities since around 2005. And busy with my own boards on another Bat Channel. But drop in to keep tabs on the board here.

Besides a great place to camp, with panning for gold, it looks like such a great area with lots of of rivers in the area, what's happened to America, errr California?

Golly gee Wally it's not 1960 any more.

Perhaps camping and panning a little further east on the North Side of Lake Tahoe, near Incline Village, near the Ponderosa Ranch where the Cartwrights would be on top of such events. We need a hero, two or 3.

Or even around Reno.

No matter where, it's all beautiful Country in east California and western Nevada. Although I enjoy living in Florida, I travel often as it's so Flat, you have to travel north to the Blue Ridge Mountains to have any view near so spectacular. We have a Hurricane once in the while, but no fear of mother earth getting tired of what happening to California and having a fit producing a massive earthquake and creating Beachfort property in Nevada.

I lived in Fairfield a few years when young, fly out for visits to see a friend in Altadena once in a while, but mostly we meet in Las Vegas, on firm ground. LOL.

I'm sure McEwen wouldn't mind if you went camping on some of the Acreage and Abandoned mines he Accumulated when Creating U.S. Gold.

Many people on the board, Provide links to the information they provide or a previous post, instead of saying it's out there and expect people to go look for it.

In fact ZPAUL takes the time to provide the same link over and over and over again, when someone 3 months later ask a question that the link he origanlly provided answers. I'm sure it's a tedious repeated task, but he selflessly takes the time to get the info or link and provide it.
