dig,
I respect your opinion.
However, I do believe there is a very small chance for success. If it happens, I'll be the first to admit having been wrong and will but the stock in droves. But, I don't think it likely at this point in time.
Yes, I argue strongly. I do this because it is the only way to make a point when the attacks fly in at a rapid pace from all sides. If I didn't stand up and argue, the other side would claim victory and say "see, he had no response for that arguement, he knows he's wrong". That is why!
CPA
Zen,
So far, my "laughable opinions" have been correct. Anyway you look at it, if you sold when I have indicated, you would be better off than where you are today.
If "laughable" means correct, I'll take it.
CPA
Vader,
No you weren't. Last time I checked, you have responed to my posts when I wasn't talking to you. Why is it okay for you and not me?
CPA
Howard,
It is true. Research my posts from around 2 to 3 years ago, I mentioned the person then, and caught h..l for it too. The person hasn't posted since. I'll probably catch h..l for it this time too.
I'm surprised my phone hasn't started to ring yet. But, then again, its early.
CPA
zen,
I believe that the technology is the only thing keeping them alive, not managements hard work.
I believe that if a medicore managment team had this tech. we would all be rich by now.
CPA
Vader,
Thats easy to answer. People with money who can buy a preregistered stock, who can buy it at a 20% discount and sell it the next day. They get to keep the warrents just in case it goes up. I would take the whole PP if they would let me. It's a no brainer.
I wouldn't be surprised if they are friends of the Spragues. I've tried to get in on these before and could not. However, one poster (I won't mention who) did. He knew someone who is a very close friend of the Spragues. I wonder if that had anything to do with his ability to get on one of these deals?
CPA
Vader,
I think that the company as well as managements handeling of OUR funds is fair game. This board is to discuss all things Wave. If managment is not a part of that, well, I just don't know what is.
My tag line is FACTUAL in that financing happens approximately every 3 months. Or, do you disagree with that?
CPA
Matt,
The moderator at the Wave board sent me a message saying that my new tag line is "disingenious" and he intends to delete all my posts. My new signature line happens to be factual and can be backed up.
For the last year and 1/2, Wave has done a private placement every 3 months or so, that is a fact. I do not see how my signatre tag is disingenious based on this fact.
Will you please let both of us know whether it can stay or not.
Sorry to waste your time on this, but it appears to be necessary.
CPA
24601,
Wave has always been, and rightfully so, proper in warning investors in disclosure statements. Any company worth anything does this.
I also agree with you about the purpose and tone of both documents.
CPA
Howardjoel,
I do not believe they could be. I think it would violate reg D, but I do not know for sure.
CPA
24601,
Please see post 104574.
CPA
Vader,
This has happened before. Others have said the same thing you say here, they were wrong then, and I believe you have misinterpreted what the filing means.
CPA
Matt,
Is this one acceptable?
CPA
Matt,
Can you please explain why my last post on the Wave board was deleted.
I was not rude, did not swear and was not sarcastic. I believe whom ever removed it just doesn't want the kind of question I asked to be left out there.
CPA
24601,
Their "worse case possibilities" have been far worse than they ever predicted. Why should we think things will be either better that predicted or at least as good as predicted this time around?
CPA
zen,
Happy Holidays to you too!!!
CPA
zen,
You see, that is where you are wrong. I'd rather be rich. I'm just stating what I see.
You, and many like yourself are just angry at where Wave is and need someone to take it out on. I'm the easy target.
You are angry that I have been correct on calling Wave for the past 4 years, and you have been wrong. Its that simple.
I remember feeling the way you do back when I was one of Wave's greatest supporters. I HATED the naysayers for being right. You know what? You would be better served to step back and look at the business and management objectively.
What have they delivered that they promised? What have they missed? When you judge the evidence, you'll come to the only logical conclusion, they have destroyed this company and any hope for it's success, all in MHO, of course.
Try it, you'll like it!!!
CPA
barge,
I hate to tell you this, but it just doesn't matter what Wave is or is not in at this point of the ballgame. When you are losing 20 to 2 in the bottom of the 9th, even a grand slam doesn't help.
You need to recognize that the revenue stream over the next 3qtrs will not come close to covering the burn rate (IMHO). The PP that just took place was the worse one yet, indicating that the "investors" are getting more and more nervous.
If Wave can't continue to raise money (and I do believe the well will dry up) the company will either go under or be sold on the cheap. End of story!!!
The management team at Wave must have thought that revenues were right around the corner for each of the last 6 financings, otherwise they would have floated more shares in earlier rounds for a greater price.
It has been this lack of vision, being able to predict the adoption rate of TPMs or their own product that has been their undoing.
If all goes well, I still don't see them at breakeven for at least a 15 months. I believe the well dries up before then.
As others have said, I believe the fat lady is warming up her pipes.
CPA
If they really wanted in "in a big way", they would just pay the extra penny!
IMHO, you are just fooling yourself.
CPA
barge,
Since game box manufacturers only release new boxes about every 3 to 4 years, I think you are going to be waiting a long time. And so, the long slog continues.
LOL!!!!
CPA
Snackman,
IMO, the odds of being here again are HUGE!!!! (unless of course, it keeps sinking).
Your opinion on the subject in the past have been incorrect, as each time you say you don't think we will be here again. Obviously, it keeps happening. You might want to change your opinion.
CPA
RWK,
I agree that the number you arrived at was sales volume.
CPA
RWK,
If you are trying to arrive at "cash flow in from sales", you need to also take into account accounts receivable change.
Your calculation does not equal "revenue" as you state it. Revenue was $335,000 as stated in the press release.
You can dress up a pig, but in the end, it is still a pig.
CPA
c m,
I am sorry that you have been threatened. I missed it.
I also have beent threatened in the past. It is not a warm fuzzy feeling. However, please understand that 99.9% of threats are just some idiot mouthing off.
If you wish to pursue the matter, contact the board and find the posters I.P. address. With that info in hand, the police can (and did in my instance) track the culprit down and shake them up.
Whom ever this was, for shame on you!!! Imagine someone threatening you or your family! You make think you are untouchable, but remember, there is ALWAYS someone out there just a little crazier than you.
CPA
Roy,
The same can be said of the "In my opinion, we are almost there. Next Quarter will be ours". How many times do I have to read that sort of dribble? Maybe those longs should only get one post a day, becasue there is no DD in those posts!
Those who post articles that have no mention of Wave should be treated the same, IMHO.
I too am an expert at detecting whinning. As a father it is easy to recognize. As an accountant, you should see people whine when you tell them they owe $50,000 because they made an extra $200,000 last year.
The longs are clearly whinning about negative posts because most are losing their shirts on this investment and can't come to grips with their own mistake of investing in this stock.
When it comes right down to it, we are all whiners.
CPA
CPA
racheleise,
Have you ever thought it was Wave's fault when one of the deals the boards have expected has not materialized?
If so, which one or ones?
CPA
Snackman,
Isn't complaining about management and trying to effect a change discussing a "con" about the company? Why do most of the longs preceive discussing a "con" as whinning? Couldn't the naysayers say connecting the dots is hype?
CPA
Ispro,
I already lost.
CPA
jakes,
Not currently. I last sold at .93.
CPA
Ispro,
No, I wouldn't. It would be a sad thing to watch so many lose so much.
CPA
Me too.
awk,
And you mine! Also lol!
Hey awk, the share price has proven all my points to date! We'll see who laughs in the end.
CPA
Yes, AWK I do. However, you don't seem to grasp that WaveXpress has content that next to no one wants to buy!
I'll bet the Q3 numbers prove my point.
CPA
go-kitesurf,
Wouldn't you just be playing the public ads? Or, do you think Wave would be able to replace ads with their own?
CPA
awk,
Most "shallow" longs don't realize that if there isn't any content worth buying, you can't make any money from the "works great" part.
CPA
P.S. Although, it would be "really cool"!!!
go-kitesurf,
So, how does wave make money off these public channels?
CPA
This the quote I like best in todays press release...
"Wavexpress offers a number of DVD-quality channels including movie trailers..."
They lead with "movie trailers". Now, I don't know about the rest of you, but I know I can't get enough of them when I go to the movies. So, I'm sure they have a few million people willing to pay to watch trailers. I can't wait for the 3Q numbers.
Now, if that isn't inept management (by leading with movie trailers) I don't know what is.
CPA
Wait for the 3q results or profits?
If you are waiting for the later, you'll be waiting for 2008 or never, IMHO.
Believe me, there WILL be an excuse for missing the numbers in 2006 and a reason to say "we have never been in a better place than we are today, we will see significant progress over the next 24 months".
CPA
Gofigure,
No, that can't be it at all. Why would anyone EVER want to sell. We all know that it has to come. Otherwise, we might be, dare I say it, wrong?
NOOOOooooooo.
CPA
Wildman,
I though you were above name calling.
You must admit, even you have had SERIOUS reservations about Wave's success. Remember, I talk to the same people you do.
CPA
