Viagra and Nexium are the only medications being offered for sale directly to the consumer according to that article - I confirmed you can buy generic viagra right from PFE, but you're paying cash and bypassing insurance - not affordable for most brand drugs. Will admit I'm surprised it's even legal - you'd think PBM's would be screaming bloody murder over being bypassed like this, but since it's so limited they probably don't care - Nexium is available as an OTC generic too, so IMO that one doesn't even count. Don't think this would be terribly cost efficient for drug makers either.
Bhatt's Mori paper did not exist during the trial, only came out months after Du ruled.
No, they can't open an AMRN only pharmacy and sell DTC - have to go through government healthcare systems. Can't do it in the US either, would be the fox guarding the henhouse.
Did you read the link? She's only allowing digging on 1/4 acre of ground, the size of my property, to check for signs native Indians may have lived there - it's like an archeological dig - no reasonable person would reject that request. When she decides on the main case, whether to allow mining, then you can grade her on the merits.
AMRN/Eddingpharm must negotiate price of V with China’s National Healthcare Security Administration (NHSA), and 50% discounts are normal - tons of info here:

Crap - we broke through the $4 support level - no floor underneath?
From the JV SEC filing I read they get 50:50 profit sharing from US sales regardless of formulation, but NRXP likely owns the IP to the new form. RLFTF is difficult to buy at some brokers, and expensive - I had to pay a $50 foreign transaction fee even though it trades OTC in the US. RLFTF has also been as quiet as AMRN over the last couple months - not a peep from them about the removal of this roadblock to EUA in the US, financial dispute with NRXP is probably keeping them out of the loop.
Not sure how reliable that data is - remember the first people to get vaccinated were those at highest risk - elderly with existing health problems - they likely have weak immune systems to start with and didn't have a great response to the vaccines. Irrational to believe antibody levels, and B or T memory cells just vanish in 6 months in relatively healthy people, even if they are elderly. Data from other countries, like the UK, show long lasting durability and efficacy against the Delta variant for mRNA vaccines - Israel is an outlier so far.
If that trial is a success we'll hear Nissen et al claiming the results need to be duplicated in a different population because the state of Argentina's health care system is poor compared to more developed countries (read rich ones).
Doubt it - IIRC a couple BPs released thousands of sales reps over the last 3-4 yrs as patent protection ran out, or just for cost savings because the drug didn't need a large sales force anymore.
Pretty bold move by the CEO - but CLF is making record profits right now, having worker shortages would really be bad, so this money is worth paying for them. States running lotteries to maybe win $1000 if you get vaccinated ain't gonna cut it with rabid anti-vaxxers.
What's wacko is you needing to check this board while on a hike in what I assume is a beautiful area - I mean WTF? Cellphone addiction is ridiculous. BTW, your damn NoCal and Oregon fires and suffocating me - the particulate counts on the east coast have been off the charts this week, not safe for me to even go outside - in NYC it wasn't safe for HEALTHY people to not wear a mask to filter out the crap - you could actually see the haze in the sky. Hope PG&E isn't your power supplier - they announced they're going to spend $15B-$30B to bury just 10% of their power lines to prevent forest fires, and ratepayers will be footing the bill - their customers already have about the most expensive electricity in the country.
AMRN was worried enough about DS IPE that they filed a complaint with the ITC to try to block it from being imported as an unapproved new drug - so yeah, it's a concern. Lost the case of course.
DS cannot mention an Rx drug in their sales pitch, illegal. Patent protection does not cover DS. The Carlson DS isn't even particularly a good substitute for V if you can't get a script - it contains 1.3 g of O3's but only 1 g of EPA - what's in the other 0.3 g? Junk non-DHA fish oils.
Trust me, GS didn't lose a penny with that $400M (not $600M) secondary - they had buyers lined up for the shares before they even agreed to underwrite it. They didn't keep a share, just took their cut of money for running the offering.
Review is from 2014 and that DS is no longer available - but this Carlson 1 g EPA DS is available, and check out what someone wrote in response to a question - a cardio rec'd a DS EPA instead of V? Can't verify if that's true of course, but if it is could be why V scrips haven't soared the way we expected.

Could be a P'n'D, but could still make money on it soared to $28 on Friday before closing at $25 - that's a 250% gain in just 3 days. Smells like the early days of MRNA and NVAX to me - can't believe it keeps going up, but it becomes a FOMO stock and best to at least put a spec bet on it. Got a link to Javitt filing to sell shares? Don't know how that's different from MRNA's CEO Bancel regularly selling shares, all of his wealth was tied up in MRNA stock, no diversity. Could probably say the same for all the AMRN insiders who dump options and RSUs as soon as they vest - only JT adds to his position. And he wouldn't have to file anything to sell his shares of AMRN, they weren't given to him as part of an IPO, or in this case a reverse merger via a SPAC.
If your vision is anywhere near as bad mine used to be, legally blind at 20:300, get LASIK surgery - only takes a couple minutes and you're healed within 36 hours - was life changing for me and worth every penny - have been 20:15 since I got it in 1999. I had to quit wearing contacts regularly because my DES was so bad, only wore them when I played sports or went out. Even if I didn't suffer from DES I still would have gotten LASIK to ditch contacts forever.
It's only often mentioned by you, with the exception perhaps around monthly options expiration's, but you'd find claims of manipulation for any stock on expiry day. The HF's and shorts are not playing AMRN - it's an utter lack of retail interest that's holding the price down, nothing more.
FDA didn't allow reduction in CV death on the label - a total BS decision.
Relief Therapeutics US partner NeuoRx announces new formulation of RLF-100 that is stable and can be produced in large quantities - now we know why FDA was withholding EUA, they didn't meet CMC standards, didn't have a validated assay test to ensure lot to lot quality control - this is exactly why NVAX hasn't been able to file their vaccine EUA, lack of a validated assay. NRXP up almost 50% today - damn, should have bought some the other day! FDA is now able to approve their EUA. RLFTF didn't budge on the news, but their IP is still involved so they should benefit too.

If ya got the JNJ vaccine gonna need a dose of MRNA or PFE to fend off Delta:

You don't know what a text file is? On Windows it's what you get when you create a message or note in the app Notepad - file extension is .txt - it can only contain ASCII characters, no bold or italic or anything - it's the simplest form of a file you can make. Afraid if you don't know what that is, it's pointless to try to walk you through how to extract the msg source from an email, takes multiple non-obvious steps in most standalone computer email apps (I use WinMail from Vista). But it's REALLY simple in Yahoo Mail - you just click on the 3 dots at the top next to other options like move or delete, a dropdown menu will appear and all you have to do is select "View raw message" - that contains the email headers I need - but I assume you didn't use Yahoo or Gmail to get the email from Liz? Gmail is just as simple as Yahoo.
No kidding - India has had over 4M excess deaths compared to the normal rate since the pandemic started:
https://www.cgdev.org/publication/three-new-estimates-indias-all-cause-excess-mortality-during-covid-19-pandemic
Be careful with Permethrin containing bug sprays - I used OFF! Deep Woods one time and got chemical burns on my skin from it. I sure wouldn't want to inhale it.
I have an ancient bottle of an anti-itch drug called Chlorpheniramine (CTM) - my mother gave it to me when I went to Ohio for grad school in the late 80's, so the pills are 40+ yrs old, and damned if they don't still work fantastic! You can get it OTC or via Rx Doesn't make me dopey like Benadryl sometimes does. You can get it at Rite Aid for $3:
https://www.riteaid.com/shop/rite-aid-pharmacy-allergy-relief-4-mg-tablets-100-tablets-0031975?gclid=Cj0KCQjw6NmHBhD2ARIsAI3hrM0AEikYsIUkGpGJ2lBkrX999tjFzg1SwN1a0gwxBpCuVfSUbEqTgisaAn42EALw_wcB
I also have an Rx only drug, Vistaril, I take when I get itchy hives - it's much stronger than CTM so I rarely take it, but it works very well too. I have several round gel packs in my freezer all the time - for short term relief they actually work better to relieve itching more than any drug. Both drugs are classified as anti-histamines, but they work way differently than your typical hay fever allergy type OTC drug. Vistaril also has way fewer potential side effects than benadryl:
https://www.rxlist.com/benadryl_vs_vistaril/drugs-condition.htm
How's about you start wearing some bug spray when outside? I'm not a fan because of my chemical sensitivity issues, but sometimes it's unavoidable - like when you're being attacked by a swarm of insects on a golf course.
Yeah, odd that you ask - last week when I went outside to cut the grass, I saw that a rotten tree had fallen into the flowerbed on the hill behind my house - a big sucker - took me 20 mins to haul all of the branches and trunk into the woods and I got several decent sized cuts on both shins. The next day I saw my acupuncturist and she asked how I got so many mosquito bites on my calfs, on the backside where you can't see unless you really look - I said I had no idea I'd gotten bitten because the bites weren't swollen and they didn't itch one bit. Have no clue how a virus vaccine could stop the chemical mosquitoes inject to draw blood out not itch - is itching an immune system response to the chemical? If your immune system was on higher alert than normal, I'd expect the opposite reaction - much worse itching.
Baloney - the head of the CDC said it, and so have two major hospital systems - 97% of new hospitalizations are from people who are unvaccinated or only got one shot, one system say it's 99%:
https://www.wsj.com/articles/unvaccinated-covid-19-hospitalizations-11626528110
I stand corrected - so AMRN is blowing 6 months of exclusivity to educate - why couldn't they do both at the same time? They started selling in the US right after MARINE approval - another strategical mistake by JT! Wonder if he was expecting a BO offer that never came and was unprepared to roll out in Germany on time? How are they distributing the drug in Germany, meaning who is the equivalent of CAH or McKesson?
Too difficult to explain - pretty sure the service I use to process spam is only accepting new members if they pay for it, but even if they are accepting new free members if you don't know how to read the output of the header parsing you won't learn much. Do you know how to get the msg source, which contains the headers? You need that to track the hops the email took on it's way to you and find the source. If you can get the msg source, email it to me as a text file and I'll take a look - put an _ between sts and 66 and send it to my Yahoo addy. You can see the old anti-spammer attitude runs deep in me still - I didn't type out the addy because bots used to (and still may) crawl MB's looking for email addy's to collect and sell to spammers. Because I've never typed out that addy on the web I get next to zero spam to it - proof being safe works.
Say you sue management and win - what have you done beyond ruined AMRN's reputation? Nothing. You just want revenge, admit it.
MRNA side effects are nothing for most - didn't do anything more than make feel a bit tired after the 2nd shot for one day, had a sore arm for couple days after both shots, normal for any vaccination. And you should consider yourself lucky - if you really had a PCR confirmed infection and got just one dose of the MRNA vaccine you have more protection than those who got two shots w/o being infected:
https://www.nejm.org/doi/10.1056/NEJMc2101667
How can they have a questionable track record when they just went public this May? It was private before then. They have established they're bad actors now- they are withholding data from their partner RLFTF who owns the IP and are in a legal dispute over fees they are trying to recover from RLFTF, who claims they're not owed. A serious mess.

Official word is that they only update guidelines every 5 yrs and they updated them in 2018 or 2019, so AMRN has to wait 5 yrs from then to get included, which I believe is utter BS - don't tell me a ground breaking new therapy for CVD can't get into a mid-term update of guidelines - think how many people will suffer CVE's and/or die waiting for the updates - makes zero sense. When there are plane, car, or boat accidents and the NTSB gets involved in investigating what happened and issues a report, if it's something they expect may be widespread they send out notices to all involved immediately so inspections can be done. Things like cracks in turbine blades, or the 737-MAX over-riding pilot inputs to the controls.
Or if you're a fan of the "Deadliest Catch" show, when crabber boats sink out of nowhere and the Coast Guard need to figure out why - this year there was an episode about that. Commercial crab boats carry hundreds of 1000 lb pots stacked on their decks that make the center of gravity very high, which makes the boat vulnerable to roll over and sink in a split second. The boats are required to have stability tests done when they're built, but rarely are they repeated. Turns out that over time, the boat that sunk had added a couple of heavy cranes to the deck, and crab pots had gone from weighing 700 lbs to 1000-1100 lbs - if you have 200 pots, that's an additional 40 tons of top heavy weight added that was not in the original stability report. Ice built up on the pots, adding many more tons of weight, the boat got hit in the side by a big way (educated guess) and rolled over, instantly sinking before anyone could send an SOS. That was a very sad episode, the captain and crew were very popular with other crews.
Hell no they didn't endorse V yet - even worse, in some other system they have in place, they question R-IT results because of the MO controversy - forget what the name of it is, one of the docs here posted it a year or so ago. Some electronic resource docs can access to find out about new drugs and indications.
Wait - you're saying you emailed Elisabeth asking if JT's email was valid and she replied yes in an email? I thought someone had called her on the phone to ask that - if you have that email then this is settled as far as I'm concerned, it's real.
If that doc really "knew all about V" he'd know it's completely different from fish oil, which has no useful purpose in humans except for pregnant women and babies. Wonder if he'd ever been visited by an AMRN rep? Sounds like no.
It's not was she truthful - is the person who claims she said the email was real being truthful - it's hearsay.
I use GoodRx too for a couple non-recurring scrips and pay cash - that's legal - do it to try to stay out of the donut hole as long as possible. My point is that with a month of V > $400, AMRN's discount coupon is very unlikely to get your cash copay below what you'll pay using Part D with V on T4. Won't hurt to ask, of course. BTW, you should call in advance and tell them not to auto-refill your V scrip, they will automatically bill Medicare and you'll have a mess getting the charges reversed so you can use the V coupon if you want - happened to me once, although not for V, was another drug that was cheaper using GoodRx.
