I couldn't agree with you more skitsovel. The key here is to share all opinion and data that leads to a more manageable conclusion. It is all of our money here at stake. Now, while the intention and objective of Biomoda is commendable and noble, I think all of us here want to make money and see this stock ten fold. However, there have been many contradictory statements from Biomoda's CEO that would make investors rather nervous. I get the feeling that something is not being told. The most logical thing would have been for all of those patients to be tested and almost simultaneously process the data and archive it until all required samples would be in, so that way when the last patient provides the final sample most of the work is already in place. This "2" month statement kind of throws all of us out. I am putting a letter to their IR department and see what is the story, otherwise they may be facing a lawsuit for misleading investors. The SEC doesn't care whether the company is noble or not, but how it answers to its investors.
That is not a hope. It is a reality. This is the stock market. The basics of it are:
You buy low and sell higher. Repeat.
Buy the rumor sell the news.
BASICS
It is nice that I get to buy again in the teens and re-sell on the 0.20's. I am loving it
Not one person is saying that Cypath is bad or will not achieve the results. What pisses people off is the timelines given by its CEO. As a CEO you should perfectly know that respecting the timelines is extremely important. It is associated with credibility. Let's not forget that this technology, was not developed by BMOD but by Los Alamos.
You could appreciate this kind of girl at a strip club, not when you are dealing with investors money. Seems like whoever is not cheerleading goes to the "you are a negative person" bin.
Exactly!!...what was this guy thinking!! Any company that respects itself would have never ever agreed to such cheesy interview. And of course finishes it off with the 2 month mark...which in BMOD years accounts for like probably 4 or 5.
I agree with you Final Frontier
Listen Rain, we all want you to be right..but in the meantime and until results are announced this remains as a trading stock. I have 40% of it held constantly and trade the other 60%. And yes it is a bit annoying to keep on hearing 2 months wait over and over.
it is not a negative bias. It is a trading bias. Why? Because the only thing that could make or break this company is the phase 2 data. If positive, then the sky is the limit..if not it is just dead weight. So right now the only factor is time and if the results are going to be delayed then investors will sell and trade other security. This is not brain surgery. JC keeps on jerking us around every 2 months I guess.
Cypath reacts to proteins in (cell) receptors, not just cancer cells. Since there are many more receptors in cancer cells, they fluoresce more. This means that the resultant sample is assessed by the technician, sort of like grading a gemstone. The demonstration slides JC showed demonstrated a huge difference but I'm not sure that is always the case. This introduces a human element to the assay, not a game changer but...anyway, as with mammograms, detection can probably be improved with a computer scan and some good software...but still.
You keep on posting my quote "oh this turd is about to tank" which I admit to posting it, and not without reason and clearly expressing my disgust with a company that does not abide by honesty or the timelines they announce. I consider such actions "misleading".
But by posting my "quote" I would assume there is an attempt to discredit me. Have you thought for a second what if you would be wrong about this and BMOD in fact fails? It is not a good bet to be too biased, because then your credibility will be questioned as well as your DD
Whatever you found out is what you found out. Perhaps if you shared, well, then it make more sense. I have also talked to Maria in the past and the answers were vague...then again it is all about interpretation. It is obvious that investor confidence has been eroded. Why? Because in the past, whenever news hinting results would be announced the stock would rapidly increase. Now, even with the PR does not move much. It basically tells that investors are tired of it and until positive results are in nothing will move this company forward. He could have said 1 months and be in line with Lifetech..instead he choses to NOT be in line with the Investment banking firm and cast doubt...way to go...

If the results were going to be so "immediate" and it had been "successful" ( which most likely meant successful completion ) then he could have used "within a month" instead of "within 2 months" and cast doubt. This is just common sense. Period.
He clearly said 2 months..but if others want to believe is going to happen before oh well!!
I promise I will
Oopsie! What is happenin?!... I guess this is going to touch the teens earlier than I expected...Rain what do u make of this?.. Something tells me I was right kinda
I agree...I will be buying tons of shares next week between 0.16 and 0.18...yeah!!!
Everyone is entitled to their opinion. No manipulation here. Nothing wrong with keeping gains..hello!
But anyhow, people have different views...
Evil? The cause is commendable and I will be the first one to say it. Isn't that the purpose of science? No rooting here, just being objective...what is the problem with that?
I DID post it and it DID tank at the time. Since when being objective means to be playing games. Like I had stated prior, we all thank you for the time taken into your research, however, at times you do seem biased. It is as if almost you are guaranteeing a 100% success, in which event it would be wise for all to sell everything we own and put it into Biomoda. It is ok to be vehement and excited about a company but not to the point of being blinded by it.
Am I off here? Other posters opinions please
Without getting too emotional would you kindly point at the scam I am running?
I guess objectivity is an issue here. The stock has potential but: 1) it is still traded 2) it is still subject to market conditions 3) it is volatile 4) it could 10 fold 5) it could tank
There is no need to post and re-post what a wonder stock this is. people should do their own due diligence regardless.
We all thank the research but please let's remain objective. I guess if I say that tomorrow the stock will be worth $100 dollars, everyone here would be inviting me somewhere because that is what people want to hear...well...NOT
Seems like my comments are not welcome. Is this a forum or a cheerleading camp? We are ALL traders here..so no need to fool anyone.
Nope...just the trading rule...buy the rumor sell on the news..
SELL OFF!! I AM THINKING THIS WILL BE BACK IN THE TEENS BY MONDAY. I JUST UNLOADED A GOOD FEW
JC did not mention anything new.. We already knew that the company would venture into the diagnostics of other cancers..the only add on is that he provided a timeline...unfortunately his timelines have been way off..
Seems like MM play
Certainly due diligence plays a factor, and I believe this is why we are all here early: risk vs reward. While there is no 100% guarantee in anything, I believe there are more pluses than minuses in this company. However, every now and then we should address those minuses to remain objective IMHO
Rain I like the research you provide and we all hope this takes off, but just as well it may fail. I understand your philosophy of the half full glass, but I have never heard the cons from you, or what could this be if results are not good.
Rain can u post the link for the OneMed webcast
Like it has been said, it s all a matter of perception..
All of us are.. But details are important..
Public speaking is an art and a skill which could either make or break a deal. I would rather see a JC dressed in a Brioni suit, exhuding confidence with an attitude similar to Michael Douglas's character in the movie Wall Street. ..
Judging from JC's last OneMedforum presentation I must say that he lacks significantlyon the presentation skills, and or confident attitude.

Rain, assuming all data is positive and everything goes well, how long would it take for phase III to begin and complete? I would also think, though, that Phase III takes a back seat for CE approval given the market. What about Asia?
"This is a significant milestone for our CyPath® diagnostic test," Cousins said. "Now that enrollment and collection are complete, the study team is evaluating data in preparation for publishing results when analysis is complete. We expect the results from this single-blind, non-randomized clinical trial to lead to the launch of the Phase III pivotal trial."
I'm assuming that the word "analysis" means analysis of the data, not the samples since he says that the study team is "evaluating the data in prep. for publishing"
.their wording has consistently had the phrase "completed patient enrollment and sample collection". If one reads the info @ Biomoda's website, all that happens is that the sample is stained and analyzed under a microscope w/a special lens. I've analyzed stained samples of various kinds under a microscope. Unless there is no further process or wait time that they haven't mentioned, collection and analysis should go almost hand in hand.
This is what I certainly don't have a handle on. They had to test people already diagnosed with cancer. So, possibly, they had to go find people outside the ready group of 500 vets they had enrolled. The assay itself takes no time, relatively. So (I continue to assume here) the real time consuming part was hiring the new guy and getting him up to speed to run the longitudinal, as well as finding people already diagnosed and willing to be guinea pigs.
I continue to hope that, at this point, all they have to do is fill in the blanks and report the results on Wednesday. But all this is all extreme speculation.
