And the last 10 minutes is on!
The S1 withdrawl looks like an indication of something huge!
Forget the final hour. Its happening now!
Today's final hour may give us a sign of how strong the S1 withdrawl is.
I think Matt recently received confirmation of a huge storage contract, grant money or possible merger. JMO.
The way this is trading combined with a few nice pr's in the the next few weeks,i can see .05-.07 easily prior to lab opening. If we can base this thing at .015 heading into the new year, watch out.
If we close at a new day high,a frenzy will be unleashed tomorrow. Could get to .015,with three weeks left to the opening. Hmmmmmmm.
Lunchtime pullback. Check back in after 2pm,leading into a strong final hour.
Pitman,was .0085 your first purchase?
Pitman and myself were pissed that we bought @ .0085 last week instead of holding for .0079-.008.................................................................................
What was i saying again?
Always a pleasure to hear the progress of the lab. The description you provided will give us all a nice holiday cheer. Nice to hear they have plenty of room to expand. Twelve tanks in place as of now gives us roughly a 30,000 sample capacity, which is more than enough to get all of Corcell's samples in(20,000 was last count, should be more by now). I wonder if the other 10 tanks will in place and validated by the opening. It doesn't really matter though,as this can be done even after the opening. Can't wait for January. Now if we can only get NITE of our backs!
I say we close .0084 x .0085
Looks like NITE is swooping down to pick up all the lower bids. The clean up will end at 3pm or so and we'll close in the mid 8's,might even see a bit of green.
Figures. I finally pull the trigger earlier and picked up some more at .0085(700,000) and it dips. I figured if your going add, don't get cute(too risky at this point). Not worried. Wait until new year!
Toronto here also! Happy Holidays to you too! 2010 is shaping out to be a great year for CBAI. Looking forward to the new year.
The way this is trading it seems that the dilution has become transparent. I think that dip into the .007's that i and many others were waiting for isn't going to happen. I think its time to stop being too cute on this one. Grab now if you have any extra cash, its an easy double(more likely triple). IMO.
Hmmmm....the prospects of this thing dropping to .007 isn't looking too good . PPS rise with this low volume is a good indication this is priming itself for take off. I was kind of hoping for .007 to pick up some more, but it looks like that might not happen. Lets see what next week brings because after that, you can forget about it.
No way Matt PR's anything until new year. The impact of a good pr will be far less now versus being released in January. CBAI is labeled a hot stock to own all over the place right now. Profit taking should take place between now and next week. I also think NITE walks this down one last time before year end(i'd say .007). But who knows?
Myth..I think the last/best buying opportunity will be next week. If it dips to .007,grab as many as you can and then hold on tight. IMO.
Its a no brainer to purchase now(or over the next 10 days)and hold to the opening if you want an easy double or triple(or more). I'm in for the long(2.5 mil @ .0031),but i'm thinking of scraping together some more cash and buying more before year end. Then i think i'll at least sell my initial investment and add to my 2.5.or sell all of the shares i'm buying for a nice profit and continue to sit on the 2.5 mil. Either way,its a win-win.
Agreed. Matt has something in the works. After S1 approval,we should see evidence of this soon after.
We are all hoping by the opening of the lab,and thats being realistic. If not, shortly after(1-3 months).
Sorry. I assumed you new i meant .006's.
PPS in January will depend on the type of news that accomodates the opening of the lab. IMO worst case scenario(no extra news),we should see .015-.025. If we get good pr's(contracts/grants/end of dilution/aquisitions/partnerships)along the way,i'd say .03-.04. IMO,an end of dilution(debt free) announcement will send the pps soaring. Good bye NITE(can't wait).
Last buying opportunity(probably best time) will be Dec.28-30(31st half day i think). Combining factors of tax sell offs and general market relaxation,we should be presented with a great buying opportunity. We should see 6's at this point. Come the new year, the buying will start again and gradually build serious steam in the latter half of the first week and all the way to the opening of the lab. If you have any extra cash, get it together and don't miss out.
The 3:45 push is officially on..
.0083 x .0084, 55mil volume. Solid.
Uh oh. .0082 with 37mil volume. Looks like they are letting it go.
Your right about too much r/s talk. If the company lands huge revenues over the next few years(contracts/grants),i think Matt will honour us shareholders for getting the company to where it is and implement a share buyback scheduale.
After a 5:1 reversal. Without, were looking at $3.60! He also mentioned he was being conservative with his estimates. Time will tell.
A little math..
The NLO has 20 mil members(not including their families). Out of the 20 mil,how many are involved (or are soon going to be) in a relationship/marriage that doesn't have(or looking to have more) kids(yet)? Lets be conservative and say 10% fall into this category, thats 2 mil. Out of the 2 mil,how many will have kids? I think 75% is a fair number, thats 1.5 mil. Out of the 1.5 mil,how many will take advantage of the discount/coverage that will be offered if they choose to bank their baby's cord blood? Being conservative lets say 5%(national average without coverage)which works out to be 75,000.
So,75,000 x $1,800(not including $150 to courier)initially = $135,000,000. Lets assume it will take these young couples 5 years combined to fill this number. But lets not forget that most of these families will consist of more than one child. So i think its safe to say that within the 5 year window, these figures should be 50% higher.
Lets not forget the first year storage fee of $125.
75,000 x $125 = $9,375,000.
So based on these numbers, roughly $200 mil should be made on initial collections over a five year period($40 mil/year).
Annual storage should be roughly $75 mil over same five year period.
To sum it up,there is a realistic $275 mil to be made over a five year period($55 mil per year on average)just from NLO members alone.
Its also safe to say these revenues should be applied between 2011-2016. The future of this company is looking pretty good.
Or,CBAI will put out a PR in the morning. If you think about it strategically speaking, very smart. Same news will be spread out over two days. I bet there are many would be investors that haven't been exposed to this news yet.
I would be very interested to hear how the procedure plays out. I hope she will be ok.
Cord Blood America, Inc. (CBAI, Trade ) CEO Matthew Schissler talked about the late January opening of their Las Vegas facility and commented on recent stem cell news.
Looks like Matt is going to discuss how the beginning of the grant approval process is going to effect CBAI. Can't wait to hear it next week. Next week could be a nice week, especially if the S1 is approved early next week(or today) so Matt can then start laying on some solid pr's.
There might also be some more grant approvals announced this afternoon.
mrvegas..
IMO this will be the normal procedure, thus eliminating any controversy.

mrvegas..read the second sentence.
The NIH has already authorized 31 grants for about $21 million for research on human embryonic stem cells that were contingent on new lines passing government muster. Wednesday's approval will allow those scientists to decide whether to begin using the funding for those lines or await the approval of other, more appropriate cells. The grants are for a variety of research, including work aimed at developing cells that could be used to treat heart and nervous system diseases.
Many other grant requests have been submitted by researchers hoping to use some of the $10 billion the NIH received as part of the economic stimulus program for embryonic stem cell research, Collins said.
"What we're talking about today is just the beginning," Collins said.

Great stuff. Possibly more this Friday.
I have a feeling this was approved. Was passed through the House yesterday.

OT..STEM is running like wildfire. Any relation to our tiny pop? I wonder.
