By the end of the year there will be no need to sell anymore shares. However, he's not going to pull off a huge deal without including some more shares IMO. Unless he has a major funder willing to buy preferred shares. Either way it will be a win win IMO.
We're making progress. First you said .01. Now you're at .02. That's good. Just stick around until at least the end of the year so we can compare notes.
We're all well aware of your opinion. Doesn't change ours. And when they bought Corcell they basically had nothing. Now that we have a lot more, another "knock me over with a feather" deal would have to be huge. Can you understand that at least? Matt has never suggested anything to me that hasn't happened.
If Matt pulls off what I think he will pull off I think we should all plan a one year Grand Opening anniversay party in Vegas next year. I'll say if Matt can get the share price to .05 we would go for sure if others go. And I do think it's possible by year-end depending on how he finances the deal.
Matt hasn't announced that deal yet. Only signaled it. Everything changes when this is announced. Pittman, read my post just before this one.
I think you found it. Thanks to you and Blue. What I see are basically four banks operating in Mexico. Banco de Cordon Umbilical makes the most sense. Of the four, this one is also the only one that it isn't clear where they store the samples. Two of the other three seem to store in the US. And one clearly stores in Mexico. With 20,000 samples if we can move them to our facility from where they are now that would be a nice hit to the revenue and profit line. It would also give us outlet in Mexico where today CBR and Cryo-Cell both have distribution channels.
If anyone doesn't think Matt has a plan to get us to being the largest cord blood storage company in the world you need to check your pulse. And this is by no means the "knock me over with a feather" deal Matt is signaling.
All have a great weekend. If anyone on here reads spanish and likes doing a little DD you might check on what cord blood storage companies exist in Mexico for us. I like the possibilities since we can easily store cord blood from Mexico in Vegas without a problem, as long as Mexico doesn't have any export issues with it. That could help fill up our facility some more.
Of course, this could also be a long meeting (two weeks is a long time) to finalize the China sub details/announcement, or even possibly to negotiate that "knock me over with a feather" acqusition. Whatever is going on we should know the answer to both fairly soon IMO.
Great. I wish I had known about this stuff before my nine grandkids were born. And by the way, that decision could end up saving your life.
Hey Gruber, Yes, Matt said he was ready to buy now during this depressed economy and he's doing that for sure. But I'm sure he has a doozy acquisition for us also.
This is a business trip to Mexico. Not pleasure. Interesting.
It's interesting that Matt keeps saying there are other ways to fix the capital structure. He's pretty good about only saying things that have merit. So maybe you're right. That's not my expertise. Never worked in Treasury.
It's starting to sound more likely. What CBAI brings to the table big-time is the China deal. Forecasting that out in time might make a major player want some of that. I can't wait to be knocked over by a feather. I say by year-end and that's only four months. And yes, I have the time and patience some don't.
Then perhaps Lifebank is the target. Do you know how much inventory they have? And are there any synergies worldwide that would make sense to consolidate from what you know about them? I'll do some checking too. You have pointed out that there is a history with CBAI and Corcell thru executive management. Interesting. Thanks.
Here was my thinking. Yes, we could very well be processing for Celgene. So then I was thinking were they the target? But you posted something that said they only had about 20,000 stems stored. If true, then I don't see the major acquisition being them.
To your previous question, I have no clue who the target in this major acquisiton is actually. Looking at Lifebank they aren't big enough for this one to be a "knock me down with a feather" moment. But there is no doubt in my mind that there is some kind of major consolidation in the works. Who is the question in my mind.
Yes Booger. My favorite investor.
Locks, it's amazing what you have done on FB. The Cord Blood America Investors website has more up to date CBAI information than anywhere on the web. Hands down. Congrats to you.
Good for you. Folks, it's not the Biocells deal we're looking for. It's the knock me over with a feather moment we're looking for, and I'm not sure when we're going to get that news but soon I'm sure or Matt wouldn't be so confident. Maybe tomorrow.
That's our largest competitor, Cord Blood Registry. What company does she work for?
The one thing this stock has kind of been lacking is wild speculation. Many have mentioned that other stock that took off the other day. A pinkie with no reporting, only wild speculation. Well the China deal could give us that wild speculation when announced.
Another way to view it is AXMP has the clout to get the licence, China Stem Cell LTD provides the cash upfront, and CBAI provides the expertise and orders the equipment.
The answer is all three are involved. AXMP, China Stem Cell LTD (the guy in the picture with Matt in China runs this company) and CBAI. It's at least a three way deal and I'm betting China Stem Cell LTD is providing the cash upfront to build the facilities. That's why I expect them to spin this sub off. To recoup some of the cash they need to build them out.
I see Booger has competition now.
Yea, we may not make that target but we're trying. Hopefully at least a few more by the end of this year and the remainder next year. Anyone doing the math can see the PROFIT we will make just from the royalties. HUGE.
Yep. And we already know we have two of those eleven in the bag including the last one on free rental space.
And it very well could be something regarding the China sub. Including shares based on current CBAI shares. I found the link to China Cord Blood LTD where it said there goal was to open ten facilities in China by the end of 2010. We get 10% of any profits and 8.5% royalty on all revenues. It wouldn't surprise me if they spin that new sub off selling shares to raise capital. That could be the surprise we're waiting for?
I just know Matt is giddy with excitement for something we don't know yet. What is the question and why I asked if it could be time for us to get that grant. I have no clue what is up but it's something that is going to make our share price jump. As far as I'm concerned, Matt gave us something already by spilling the bean in a post on Facebook that didn't go out in a PR yet. So we have had a chance to buy more which I did yesterday. Matt has never suggested anything that hasn't happened.
Morning all. I could be wrong but I'm expecting something to break soon here. Like today or tomorrow and I'm talking about more than just the Biocells deal. Hope so.
I just have a feeling something is coming soon besides the Biocells deal. Matt has been pretty confident recently even saying today how he doesn't "Boast" without a firm reason (something like that). Well if he is that confident it must be close to happening. Otherwise, if it was still just in the works he couldn't be so confident. Understand? So what else could be coming soon? That's why I asked that question about the grant.
Also, he said we might get something for shareholders after the Biocells deal is closed. That could be tomorrow or Wednesday.
Mr Long, do we have any idea when that public cord blood grant by the Feds will be announced? I think it's up to $150M depending on how many banks get the grant. Any chance September 1st?
Filled them all at .005. Now let the party begin.
Anyone that wants to sell please do. I have another large buy order in right now.
LOL. I posted some stuff Saturday but decided to stop at that point. We're all going to be good.
I gave you my view of what is going to happen. Locks has his own. Matt never said he would never do a r/s. He said he wouldn't do one until it made sense and CBAI was profitable. Not just barely profitable. Like I said, it won't happen until our prices are much higher. But it's only my speculation from the facts Matt has presented to all. First we get the huge news. Then the share price goes nuts. Then we do the r/s IMO and uplist. Then we run again. My thoughts.
Like I've said all along a r/s isn't a bad thing at all. Most people on this Board are penny stock players and with many pink sheet stocks a reverse split is a way to capture back shares and start the selling (dilution) all over again. The reason, most pink sheet stocks are scams. In out case, a r/s will be a good thing. But what people have to understand is doing a r/s at these prices do nothing for us. That's why it's clear to me that the fact Matt is now talking about uplisting in the near future means he is confident we're going to see at least .05 or higher soon. Below that a r/s does nothing. I have no concern about it.
That's great Booger. LMAO. Lets all hope for a good week.
Is it speculation we opened our own Lab? Is it speculation we bought 51% of a company in Germany, and a gateway to Europe? Is it speculation we are buying Biocells, a gateway to South America? Is it speculation we own 10% of a China Cord Blood Stem Storage Company and get 8.5% royalty on all revenue?
Yes, it's speculation we're doing a major deal soon that will move us way up the food chain in terms of market share, but also make us profitable. But Matt has never told me one thing he was doing that didn't happen. Not one thing.
So be negative if you like. It doesn't affect any Longs decisions I'm sure. Not anyone with half a brain anyway. Nite nite.
You can't argue with an .....! I'm buying about 5M more shares before the Biocells announcement. Anyone with half a brain is buying all they can afford at these prices. Our payoff is coming soon, but will keep coming for those that keep there shares after the initial rise. The China deal doesn't even start paying off until next year. I've shown you the goal is to open 10 sites by the end of 2010 which won't happen but maybe by the end of 2011. We own 10% of that company plus receive an 8.5% royalty on all revenue of the sub. We'll be on the Big Board and the possibilities are endless. And for you Mr Long, Matt says he see's government funding a big part of our revenue going forward. There is something here for everyone. Even CBAIWaiting who has no clue what he has here will be rewarded. Those in have picked a very good investment IMO. Go CBAI.
No chance of that. This is a real company. You've been playing pinkies only up till now I'm sure.
It doesn't wipe out anyone. Lets say we did a 1 for 10 reverse split and the stock closes at .05 the day before a split is effective. If you had 1000 shares you would now own 100. And the closing price the day before times 10 would be the opening price the next day, so .50. A move up to the big board is sure to generate a lot more big investor interest and money.
