"we rise ~10% more, peaking in, of all things, FEB at around 2250-2300. We then correct, and first drop to the 200 day in late April at around 1980. We bounce but then drop and slide to the 300 day at 1950-1970 in late June. Those figures are about right although that might not seem right. We fiddle fart around and the 300 day doesn't hold either, but we don't go below 1930, and then we go nuclear in August, exploding to 2600 by late Jan 05"
Any chance NENG can participate in this? ;'}
Bruce: Just ran that leak test again, and my XP firewall was penetrated.
Are you still using PC-cillian or do you recommend something else?
Here's the site, in case others want to try it:
http://www.grc.com/lt/leaktest.htm
If AMCC can take out 7.05 with some momentum, it's clear sailing to 11.
Market conditions may not allow it on this trip though.
It may have to consolidate some, first.
Looks like LU broke out and is looking to fill a gap @ 4.55 from 05-31-02.
Thanks JB, but it's not there.
Can't figure it out.
I'm stumped.
LOL! Thanks! eom
Bruce, Question:
A friend has Win98, PIII 600mhz.
He doesn't have a "recycle bin" icon on his desktop.
For the life of us, we could find it in his computer.
We did a "search" and found nothing.
Any idea how to make a desktop "short cut" for the recycle bin?
I installed most of the recommended software listed in the header.
He was AMAZED at all the crap it found on his computer.
Thanks again,
Scott
Congratulations!
Got any cigars, proud papa?
That was quick!
Thanks, Syl,
Scott
Syl, when you have a minute:
Do you think Agr.a will hit or take out 4.40 in '04?
I was looking at a daily chart and it doesn't sem to have too much over head. Especially if it can break through about 3.5.
Thanks,
Scott
"I'm starting to feel like I will be able to make back all my money some day. "
And I thought it was only me. ;'}
That's when we go short. :')
Wahz, I noticed GNSS isn't listed in the header.
Do you still like it?
You just pissed off a lot a people with those last 2 posts of yours.
I like that. :')
Right now, I'm not TOO concerned with NENG. I have some in my LT port.
It's the NENG in my ST port that has me pissed off.
But, I'm making it up on AMCC!
A few weeks ago, I really thought about selling NENG and buying SCMR because they both were trading at about the same price and I thought going forward SCMR would outperform (ST port).
That would have been a good move.
Oh well, you can't win 'em all.
"turn around Tuesday for neng???.."
You mean from here? Or from what has happened today already?
I need clairifaction. :')
Just got a pop-up from First Horizon Bank.
Now I know those "blank" pages are pop-ups that aren't getting through.
It's really amazing the bullshit that is allowed to continue to to be sent unsolicated (sp?) over the "net".
"Someone got screwed at the open."
Or, maybe someone made out at the open!
I forgot about the glass be half "full". :')
O.K. eom.
Games being played with ITXC.
Someone got screwed at the open.
I agree with your post. NGEN is strong again today, so far.
When the market weakens (2 or 3 weeks, maybe)NGEN should take it on the chin.
I'll be watching.
Scott
Bruce, I hardly find anything anymore when I run these programs.
I guess the sites I visit are "clean".
WHY?
Hey, it's not even the 4th of July yet, but the fireworks are flying over at the MDA thread!
http://www.investorshub.com/boards/read_msg.asp?message_id=2060369
Some good nightime entertainment!
Bruce, I just installed SpywareGuard.
We'll see how it goes.
Dieselfuel
Please, take some time to read that one article. It was from October 2002, so there's no hurry to read it. But it's great info.
At Chris' post, there a link to a PDF article of Dent's newsletter from December 2003 (more timely). That a great read, too.
And, I wasn't trying to "DIS" Syl, but I saw that article this afternoon, and I thought (what I had posted) that when I read it.
It just seems that whenever there's good news going around and the market and economy are humming right along, somebody (the writer, not Syl here) has to pull that one out of there ass.
I mean ,I've seen and heard that one so much in the last 25 years, it's not even funny.
Scott
DAMN! Did anyone notice the volume on CORVIS today?
It traded over 73 million shares! And on NO news?
Ave. 3 month daily volume is about 6.2 million.
Something up?
Or is it MoMO time once again in the markets?
Thanks for the link.
And the other thing I mentioned that seemed "fishy".
Linda, you were right.
Thanks,
Scott
Augi: I ran out of post today.
I was refering to NGEN as in Nanogen.
It's running up HUGE the past week. The shorts are getting killed.
In a day or two, it should make a good "daytrade" short (IMO).
I'll be watching it closely.
"NEWS: Americans build mountain of debt, savings rate slides"
Yawn. So, what?
I've heard this literatly my whole life.
Wake me when there's real news, will ya'? :')
Thanks, tc.
That wasn't the page I'm looking for, but thanks anyhow. I'll take a look at it. It looks like a useful site.
Alex, do your self a favor and read this:
BUBBLE BOOM - Click here and read all about it!
http://www.hsdent.com
It may explain to you why we had a low in 2002.
Scott
"I don't expect you or anyone else to agree, Alex Yet."
Oh but when they DO, I can't WAIT! :')
Wahz, a while back, the gov't issued some contracts.
I think a few from the were involved, Lu, Cien and others.
I though CORV got a few crumbs.
I see what I can find.
Edit: I can't find anything. I must be losing my mind.
I thought it was in August or maybe in Sept. '03. I thought SCMR, JDSU, CIEN, CORV, LU and a few other were involved in the bidding.
Must have been a dream.
Anyone like the storage drive makers?
WDC and Maxtor have healthy margins in the 16% area.
An increase in business spend should help these companies.
Also, PlayStation is comoing out this year with new version that has a hard drive, like Xbox. (Don't laugh, gaming is HUGE! Although I could give a shit, but my children are into "gaming".)
"Now if only you can carry some of that over exuberance to NENG I would be happy... :)"
You and me, both.
How about 6 points worths!
Bruce, yes, PPMemCheck looks "fishy" to me.
By the way, I thought I booked marked that web-site Auggie posted a week or 2 ago showing everything that could possibly be in the start up menue.
Could you, or someone else reading this post, please point me in the right direction?
Thanks,
Diesel
P.S. Speaking of Diesel, I watched "Boiler Room" lastnight.
I've heard of this movie when it first came out and didn't see it. I borrowed it from a relative.
Another reason not to use a broker!
Didn't CORV win a secondary gov't contract 4 or so months ago?
Bruce, are you using the "default" setting on Ad Pop-Up Filter?
I'm getting pop-ups today with images (not blank like before).
Also, I got a grey box saying that IE was trying to configure my settings to allow pop-ups and to click on "YES", I clicked on 'NO'.
