I think I will place an order for a couple of billion shares! But I have to wait until I get paid to do that. LOL!
I actually thought about doing something just to see what would happen! Of course, since I sold my small stash at around 1.60 and you a bit higher, I think those who stayed should send us a percentage of their profits. If we had stayed in they would have been toast! Oh well.
Re EAHC ... not still kinda low, but at least it is holding it's own.
Sounds like a plan
Yes, just saw what you reported. Many times this after hours stuff has no bearing on tomorrow's open. What's you take on that?
IMO this was simple manipulation at its worst. I've watched lots of pennies. Never seen one trade nearly 3/4 of a BILLION shares ... shares that either were dumped by the Hauser brothers (remember that they owned over 1.3 BILLION themselves) or the market was flooded with cheap and cheaper shares by the MMs.
At this point the reason isn't important I suppose. The promoters disclaim everything they circulate to cover their you know what.
Yep, they are on a growing list of dirtbags.
And to make the insult even worse, I just noticed that MDFI closed yesterday at .0098 but opened today at .0137. As a result, the promoters will probably calculate today's fleeting rise at opening from yesterday's close even though no one entering today could have possibly bought in below .0137. Thus the reported gains for the PR tote sheet will likely be 74% vice the 24% I posted earlier. Or some such verbal shenanigans.
Live and learn.
Hope no one risked more than they could afford to lose and will live to fight another day.
Good luck all.
Yes, much quicker than expected ... but completely expected. I am sure there will be tons of plausible denial and rosy tomorrows on the email circuit tonight.
No bounce that I can see and we are basically out of trading time.
I would imagine either some great late breaking news via PR after market close or a simple "MDFI kept our winning streak alive with a 24% gain in the first minutes after open with no mention of the frigging disaster that then occurred. JMHO.
MDFI does not act like a real stock because it is not a real stock. It is simply being manipulated. If it bounces it will because the MMs want to suck in more people for tomorrow, not because of a technical like a Bollinger band.
I was bouncing between both boards and zigged when I should have zagged.
Yep, hosed that one up!
Disregard, got my wires crossed. My bad.
Did not realize you were Big Time's spokesperson.
And, why, pray tell, have you concluded thusly?
Guess what? This promoter will still claim he has a 100% accurate record. Here's the math ...
Stock opened at .0137 and within the first couple of minutes moved to .017 for a gain of .0033.
.0033/.0137 = 0.2408 or a 24.08% gain!
The next email from the promoter will say something like "As predicted, MDFI leapt out of the starting gate for over a 24% gain before profit taking took over."
And, to make matters worse, MDFI will forever be listed as a 24% gain.
It does not matter what happened after the HOD was reached or the fact that only insiders or promoters who knew what was happening had their sell orders pre-loaded into the face of all the buying from the masses. As mentioned earlier, the Hauser brothers between them had over 1.3 BILLION shares, probably at close to zero basis. Their yacht just sailed!
So, the promoters still have a 100% accurate track record.
Sad but true.
Always does.
Here's an extract from a recent EAHC 8K ...
+++++++++++
Item 5. Executive Officers And Directors
The following persons are our executive officers and directors as of March 1, 2011 and hold the positions set forth opposite their respective names.
Name Age Position
Oliver Nelson 27 Chief Executive Officer
Bryan Hammond 26 President and Chairman of the Board
Khris Thetsey 38 Chief Financial Officer
William Corso 27 Secretary/Treasurer and Director
Our directors hold office until the earlier of their death, resignation or removal by stockholders or until their successors have been qualified. Our officers are elected annually by, and serve at the pleasure of, our board of directors. We feel our officers and directors should serve in such capacity in light of our business structure because: they all have a degree or professional diploma or they have management knowledge, they have previous experience in the industry and are able to adapt to changes within the industry, and they are able to work resourcefully to strategize for the Company.
+++++++++++
Between them they hold about 14.5 million shares or ~45% of outstanding. Appears that they wanted a big pay day.
Looks like a group of twenty somethings ran to the bank today.
No other reason that I can think of.
Stock does not know it cannot keep dropping.
8K explains it all. The Hauser brothers had over 500 million shares at a basis of .005 or less. They just cleaned up.
But, according to the 10K, we shareholders are scum and our voting power is basically overwhelmed by the share class structure. I don't think the insiders are going to fire themselves and we lower than life shareholders can't.
Sure wish SFMI had some.
Never heard or received on ONTC. You think it is worth a look. Up nearly 50% on Friday.
Finally broke the code on buying more than 5000 shares at a pop. Called Fidelity and asked them what I could do. They checked and realized that my account have not been approved to buy the true pennies and subpennies. Tgat has been fixed.
Also, on the IHUB boards, what does "following someone" mean? I can view your stuff through your board but there are several other posters that seem to have their heads screwed on right. I guess what I am asking is there any way for me to receive posts automatically from the selected posters.
Surf,
Amazon just sent me a notice that Dr. Elder has published a new edition of one of his books in 2011. Here's the link in case you are interested.
http://www.amazon.com/New-Sell-Short-Profits-Declines/dp/0470632399/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1303048868&sr=8-4
Also, received several promotions on Friday and Saturday for EAHC. By the same promoters that did ALZM and LEXG. Could not find any compensation number, however.
FYI.
I call your attention to Post # 33088.
When did SFMI ever say that they had 500-800k tons of concentrate?
Well put TT.
I for one am sick of people telling us that gold is at 2 trillion dollars and ounce with silver at 40 billion per ounce, or whatever. Doesn't matter if you aren't (or can't) take anything to market. By the time SFMI gets anything to market gold and silver will probably have fallen and that will be the reason they didn't get any revenue from it.
By the way, if SFMI got robbed by the smelter dude, have they filed charges? Oh gosh, I forgot, they did not have a clue what they sent to the smelter to begin with. I don't think the courts would judge in their favor when all they had for evidence was an assay report from the 1800s.
There's a lot of smart guys on this board, many who know a heck of a lot more about mining than I do. Comments about the long time frame needed to get proper permits from a whole range of state and national agencies (as well as the bird people) clearly indicates we ain't going to be smelting anything real soon. Maybe they'll use the smelting vessel we saw a picture of recently to roast a pig at the BOD meeting, from which all get food poisoning and be too ill to meeting to report to shareholders what happened at the meeting.
I'm from Missouri ... the SHOW ME state.
Correct as well. They have tons of options for the way ahead. They need to execute some of those options.
Good trading.
You're right of course. Tons of potential if what we are reading turns out to be true.
It's just that many of these plays never get around to ever producing anything. That's my biggest concern.
Guess only time will tell.
The Owyhee County government has a website (just Google Owyhee County, easy to find). On the website is a link to something called Planning and Zoning. There is nothing posted to indicate a hearing with SFMI was even held and certainly no results posted. Also tried to find the local paper but can find nothing on that either.
Perhaps we shareholders should petition SFMI management that they should ask to have their symbol changed to LATR (as in Later) or NADA (as in squat). The one consistent thing about this company is late or non-existent reports and information. For example, RK responded to my email to him in which I pointed out that the frigging date on their 10K at the top of page 1 said the filing was through December 2009 instead of 2010. RK responded that they were going to re-file to get that corrected. Last heard. RK also informed me that senior management, most all of whom inexplicably (LOL) neglected to file their SEC Forms 3, 4, and 5 would take quick corrective action. Ain't heard squat on that either.
So, if someone has talked to RK lately about any of this, please do us all a favor and post what he told you. I am sure we will get a PR later that contains nada.
Hard to keep the faith when all we get is a steady stream of curve balls, knuckleballs and balks. JMO.
Tall,
You new on LEXG? If so, please be advised that the 3.2MM promotion has been running for a couple of weeks. Stock has gone from around 1.25 to high 2s during that period.
Not saying it doesn't still have legs (I don't know) but did not want you to think the promotion was just starting. Read the board for several weeks back and you will see what I mean.
Good luck,
I just did this also.
Anyone know what happened at yesterday's Owyhee County commission meeting?
I have also been enlightened reading posts. But I am also frustrated that yet another week has passed with no real news.
Venting a bit I suppose.
This stock gives new meaning to the term "low volume." As in zero volume. Current owners are asking premiums for their shares and MMs are not making shares available. If a promotion is in the works, that might explain a bit I suppose.
Anyone out there know anything about near term promotions?
Well put. Everything, and I mean everything, seems to be just enough or so far out of kilter or incomplete to cause me to have continuing doubts about all of this.
Your earlier use of the line from Jerry Maguire remains spot on.
For example, how do we know that they have been processing concentrate all along? Because the same people who made no bones about telling stockholders that they had no control over anything regarding management of SFMI told us so? I don't think so!
If this turns out to be true, great. But saying it doesn't make it true. And believing it and screaming it from the rooftops, as many do here, certainly does not make it true either. The photos demonstrate something is going on. But only by releasing results will we know what level of success they are having ... or not having. Many have been here much longer than I have. Seems that something always happens to kick the can further down the road.
If all this turns out to be legit and on the up and up, I will be the first to congratulate the true believers. But, until then ...
From one pessimist to another!
Good trading.
Thanks.
Also understand the lab guy is a newbie and not a miracle worker.
P.S. - Does anyone really know when the TV spot/show/whatever is going to be aired? Soon in SFMI talk has routinely turned out to be the 12th of never.
Yes, I am a pessimist until someone can demonstrate proof to the contrary.
I am also long, by the way. Call me a cautious long.
Thanks DC. I understand what you are saying but a smidgen of proof would sure make me feel better. In the penny world what one is told frequently turns out to be overstated, fiction, embellishment or outright BS.
And I am curious about the smelter ripping them off. A smelter won't stay in business very long with a rep for thievery. Not sure I understand how they know they were ripped off.
Sure be nice if SFMI had some to take to market!
More likely that the acid vat is intended for use as a swimming pool for shareholders.
