My hopes are as soon as any rumor is out about serious negotiations on Wave Express the SP price will rise. That will be when we all wonder what is going on and why the rise. I believe the next 30 days will be very hard for me to even watch the screen. I feel strongly that long term success, (starting 6 months from now), is a high probability. Too many gorillas spending to much effort and money with Wave to let it all go.
A public dream: In the next two to three weeks Wave will announce a partnership with someone, most likely Microsoft, for the purchase of a major interest in WXP. Both Microsoft and NBC could use WXP and if they both decide they like it, it may account for a quick deal and decent price. The purchase price will be enough to get WAVE into about second quarter and still have enough money for fulfillment and development for their rapidly growing business. My guess would be about twenty million to get them where they need to be. We will all stop worrying about further dilution. We will probably still have some function or interest in WXP that would help fill the coffers. The runway would be sufficient for take off.
This is all just speculation (dream, hope, desperate delusion, whatever) of course and I have never been right. It is just what I would try to do as a business owner if I were in their position.
Even though he is probably talking about Wave express when saying "we" it is still very cool to hear SKS doing the discussing. Saying it like that, "we are heading..." might give Barge heart palpitations from jumping up and down.
The quote and article are on my news screen at Schwab but it does not let me copy the page or link.
Barge, unbelievable, there is a quote from SKS today "The consumer side is where we are heading and this is a great opportunity to create brand awareness... I am trying to copy the link but having difficulty. It is in the www.Berkshireeagle.com
Armp, great post. If you kill of the company and can wrangle the pieces, patents, and customer list....? Just a far out theory but any way you look at it the fact is that even if the theory is not correct, any of Wave's clients could just pay them slightly in advance, pay engineering fees, or muany more creative ways to help them out. You are talking about tiny amounts for those companies to come to Wave's assistance.
Since advertising is pre-sold, I would expect the ability to tell us about advertising revenue. Maybe it will extend the runway a little.
If someone is interested in WXP, 10 million is a drop in the bucket. That is the same as no interest whatsoever. Fifty million is not that much. If there is a need for WXP then be assured the numbers are larger than 10 million. It cost 50 to 150 million to make one decent movie.
I don't believe there is anything wrong with supporting your SP. The lack of news is creating lot's of anxiety. It can't be that there is nothing worth telling us about that would help.
Will someone with tech savvy please comment on the post by Jkirk about the army award. Thanks
Hopefully the small offering is in anticipation of more news flow. We got the news flow the last time but I believe SKS did not understand how the market would fail to react. We need revenue announcements with dollar amounts attached. This PP should be at two dollars. Credibility is lacking and everyone is saying "show me the money". Obviously, our great deals don't make it anymore. With all the news and new partners and again here we languish. Unbelievable.
Tried to download TVtonic; does not work on Firefox. Maybe a loyalty thing?
Gee whiz. In this new organization, there is that small company, Wave, again, swimming with the giants. Let's see; also, hmmm, no Infineon. Who is this company. Sounds familiar. Oh yea, Olympics, Wells Fargo, Dell, Intel etc. ..It keeps on building. Bashers, save your energy, I can now see the WAVE coming.
We will get large volume. Whether it is the last hour today or in the next few days. This kind of news and publicity brings in new investment. I look forward to sharing many great and happy moments with the rest of you in the coming months. Thank you for all the due diligence which has kept me in this investment for the many (too many) years that I have been involved.
If you were any large company trying to make a decision about which company to use, for either content distribution or security for that matter, how would you decide. If you were personally in charge of that the first thing you would do is to see what the other large companies were doing. Why? Well you protect your ass. If NBC makes a decision to show the Olympics with TVTONIC (who is that) then I will feel very safe doing the same. This assumes I did a bit of my own due diligence. If I wanted to send E-DOCS well there is this other funny named company that Wells Fargo approved and is using. For security there is this WAVE company that DELL, Seagate, etc. use. WOW, in addition all three of these are owned by the same company. How safe do I feel. This is the easiest way for me to do my due diligence and avoid making a mistake that could cost my company millions and make me lose my job. YES, the Olympics is big, Wells Fargo is big, and no, they would not team up with a company that was secure and the best in their field.
Thats it. I think cheap shares are gone. Thank you guys for those shares.
I think it is likely that SKS and company were counting on the stock price being propelled to much higher levels because of the olympic news in order to have a higher priced PP. The fact that we are still at these SP levels truly surprises me. I purchased more yesterday, knowing for sure we would be flying up. Nothing works logically with WAVE. I hope there is an earnings announcement with immediate teeth as it seems that truly is the only thing that will excite the investment community. I hope there is one more trick in the bag.
Assuming a reasonable value of WXP based upon what we now know, there should be more value added onto the SP than we have so far seen. Assuming a 25 million dollar value (assume what you want)we should add at least 50 cents onto our SP. So far the right people have not acted, but they will. The next few days should push us in an nice upward trend. I thought it would happen today. Maybe it still will.
Does anyone think there may be a large advertising campaign by the big boys to let them know where they can get there coverage from!
Maybe the missing two months extension to the runway can now be explained if this was where the up front development money came from?
GO_KITE. The oympics as you know is the premier property in television. Up to now TVTONIC has been run with a small staff and a pretty tight budget. There is no way that Microsoft and GE (NBC) will risk an asset that they spent oodles of money on. Every aspect must be perfect, down to the smallest details (us). If Michel needs to develop something specific for the olympics, the money will be there. Just an opinion, and I've been wrong once or twice (hundreds) over the last ten years, but I believe we will be the conduit but the big boys will now be holding the strings. They may have already invested or are about to invest. Again, all conjecture but fun conjecture.
THIS IS THE OLYMPICS. Up front development money is probably on the table. NBC and Microsoft will want to make sure everything is perfect. If you do not think that they are both going to be involved in a big way from here on, you are mistaken.
The large volume buyers haven't kicked in yet, but they will. It will take them a few minutes to digest what just happened. As usual, Wavoid research triumphs!
Samk, thanks,I didn't remember hearing that. While still vague it means it could make a meaningful contribution to the bottom line depending on overhead.
Thanks Jas. I understand that part. It is the specific what can we make per page, or is there an account sign up fee, or do they need to buy our software or is licensing the only fee, etc.If our yearly overhead is tiny then very little revenue can bring us to break even. A side thought is that Wells Fargo sure knows about Wave and will hopefully become a major client.
Has the revenue potential been discussed before? It seems We are a big player or will be a big player in esign. What does that mean for us! Do we know what the charge to the client is or the per page. It seems that this stepchild has been overlooked. I did not see the revenue numbers broken out in reports.Sorry if I missed the discussion.
It makes you wonder if Xerox will become a Wave client soon. It seems likely. Nice speculation anyhow. We know they are aware of us in a big way.
41000 on the bid. We will rally at the end of today. Lot's of new people now interested in wave.
32,000 shares on the bid. I think more people want in. New investors. It is all good.
Thanks
I believe they are stock options granted. The right to purchase 10,000 shares at 1.28.
Need help. There is a "STATEMENT OF CHANGES IN BENEFICIAL OWNERSHIP" filed for Bushnell, Gilder and two other directors. Is this just the registration of options or was this more? I have no time now to read them, just a quick glance.
Wave received an "attractive" rating this morning from Market Pulse, one of those small touting companies that pop up now and then on my schwab screen. Not that it means anything but goes along with the new interest from others theme.
A million share day would also be nice.
The last 15 minutes should be fun and put us over the .20 up for today. The 10,000 blocks were not all being bought by waveoids. This is a real rally. News will propel us quickly upwards. Not a good week to be a short.
Nice size buy orders coming in, even at 1.47.
This could easily turn into that 500,000 share day with a .20 cent rise. A tiny bit more follow through and then shorts waking up and going "oh my"
Love that one line about HP's battle with Dell, HP... "it's still doing battle with an old, but suddenly resurgent foe, Dell"
Within a short time, buying at .70 and 1.25!Go figure. This story needs to be a book. We just don't know the ending yet but I like hero stories.
OK, they faked me out. Had to buy some shares.
