Wanted to wish everyone and their families a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
Great post Johnny and agree with what you said.
IMO, BLTA does not exist to spoon feed investors and make them feel good about their investment, they are there to get certified and become an airline. If investors want to know more than what is required for BLTA to put in filings, they should call the company.
IMO
IMO, I came across a ticker that was building flying cars when I first started investing years ago. It piqued my interest and I began to read into the company and concept. I found an analyst report on flying cars that said flying cars are not feasible right now due to not having certain technological advances and are way off in the future because some things need to be seen on cars prior to flying cars being possible. One of the technologies listed in the article was cars being able to drive themselves because they will have to correct themselves while flying.
I agree with you, I don't really see it as necessary, however, it is an important step into the future of transportation technology.
IMO
Interesting that BLTA deployed slides that were packed almost 50 years ago and they worked well. That probably really helped their case in that it showed the problem lies in the packing, not with the equipment.
IMO
I want to say he can, although it is not recommended because it is weak internal controls.
IMO, the problem with legality would be if the person doing the books was the person auditing the books. That is a no no.
IMO
Agreed we have a dedicated management team that will see this through.
IMO
I was not at the meeting, but those that were there posted he said no to a RS. You are going to have to ask those that were there for better clarification.
IMO
IMO not the job of the company to spoon feed everyone, its their job to get certified and become successful. If one wants to know what happened at the shareholder meeting, they can ask those that went to the meeting or talk to BLTA headquarters. They posted on FB that their telephones, e-mail, and internet will be back shortly at terminal 4
IMO
People have posted from the shareholder meeting that Igor said no to any RS.
I was replying to someone that says the company is lying and will RS. My response was to the effect that the company is going to know more about what they can and can't do and if they say no RS, it means no RS. They are the ones running the company.
IMO
Price held very well IMO.
IMO, the company is going to know better what they can and cannot afford and if they need to RS. I mean, they are running the company.
Thanks Firestream for the update. Hope you have a safe trip back.
Thanks to all who provided updates! Very much appreciated.
Awesome volume and close! Really looking forward to hearing about the meeting tonight!
Agreed happy holidays and anyone traveling stay safe!
Sounds good to me IMO. Hopefully the initial lift of the scrap copper deal happens at the end of this year.
IMO
Have a safe trip Firestream!
There was a PR back in 2011 when BLTA moved into building 151
Link here: http://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/baltia-air-lines-expands-into-new-headquarters-at-jfk-124781448.html
There is a quote in the PR that says:
TY Emit! Its easy to find those facts when you have a company that puts out a lot of information like BLTA does.
Looking forward to Monday night!
Merry Christmas!
It was from the quarterly report ending June 30, 2015 published August 14, 2015:
http://www.otcmarkets.com/financialReportViewer?symbol=WLAN&id=143141
IMO, maybe it had something to do with the association with OneLan Services. The last quarterly report made it sound like they were getting some business opportunities as a result:
That would be great, hopefully the quarterly report to follow :)
interesting, thanks for the information.
IMO up until this recent quarterly report they were pretty good about getting the Q's and K's out on time.
IMO
I disagree based on information from the filing in my previous post.
IMO
Kalitta does have a lien and it is explained in an email sent by Kalitta Air's attorney. It says:
LOL I guess the plane belongs to the other airline with the golden rooster as their brand.
LOL
Quoted per the PR:
thank you! IMO there is alot of information put out by BLTA, if one does DD on that information it can be very telling.
IMO
I provided evidence to support my conclusion, can you elaborate on your opinion with evidence that they are referring to terminal 4 and not the former office?
Bear in mind last year the PR about Phase III was released right before the shareholder meeting in the evening. I believe it was said that the reason it was released then is that is when BLTA received the physical document they were in Phase III. IMO, they are probably waiting for the physical document before PR-ing as they did before.
IMO
IMO something to consider:
When BLTA PR’ed the increase in space at terminal 4 the PR said the reason for the expansion:
I believe last year the reason the PR RE: Phase III came out right before the shareholder meeting was because that is when the actual document came to BLTA they were in phase III. Based on that, it tells me they might wait for the document to be received before anything is released.
IMO
I know this is kind of old but someone was asking what type of engines were on BLTA's plane. If you go to morningstar.com and go to BLTA's filings, click on the filing for period ended 6/30/14. At the top of where the quarterly report starts there are links to exhibits. Exhibit 10.2 is the lease agreement for the engines.
IMO
That is one thing I don't understand. From what I researched the evac is a test of the crew more so than a test of the equipment. So shouldn't the pass or fail of the test be on performance of crew? IMO, obviously if any equipment malfunctions come up, they need to show they were fixed through documentation and re-tested before officials, but the test pass or fail should not hinge on that.
IMO
Exactly, IMO that is what the auditor does, checks for material misstatements and fraud, which they render an opinion on the statements that they are held accountable to.
IMO
IMO, google finance shows BLTA after hours price at .00157
https://www.google.com/finance?ei=8F5zVvDsFc_KmAHKsorgAw&q=blta
IMO, not a low budget hotel. Check out pictures of conference rooms:

Correct me if I am wrong, but didn't the PR come out right before the ASM because that's when they got the news from FAA?
