I agree guidance could and probably would move the needle the wrong way especially if missed. IMO the only way guidance works with small companies is if the under promise and over deliver method works. Even though the large contracts already awarded will help with lumpiness a good portion of the install dates can and have been pushed back many months making forecasting difficult.
The only thing I would like to see happen that hasn't been done or is in the cue to be done would be a small semi annual dividend of around .05. This encourages long term investors, motivates insider purchases, and rewards us and employees of $VTSI along the way.

Kind of what I expected....4th Qtr should be much better.
Good chance the run up is due to the perceptions that marshal law is upon us.
Check out the last 30 seconds of this vid at virtra HQ. lots of systems around going through testing and packed for shipments. I Visited HQ sept 2009 and the activity level looked nothing like this.

I have also been speculating on a virtra & MR merger. MR was suppose to go public and get their ticker earlier in the year....what r they waiting on? Could see a merger soon? And maybe another reason they increased the authorized shares? Maybe why they have a temp CFO?
This is a great addition and ads credibility.
You nailed it. As you and I know in the late 2000's their entire sales staff except for 1 was from a dental sales background. Thank goodness NOW all new hires MUST have LE or MIL experience. The Virtra team has learned from their past mistakes.
There are roughly 8+ or so people who have truly contributed to this board over the last 5+ years. These are the investors that dug their feet in the ground, talked with Management, researched for solicitations, Talked with law enforcement officers, did market research, and many other things that makes them a good investor. These are the investors who continued to purchase shares up to now and built a large holding. There are many large 1-3% holders of VTSI besides me and i've personally spoke with some of them. Virtra is just getting started....we have an opportunity to make a lot of money here....great job!!
Best regards

Keeping track of the DOJ(40mil IDIQ) so far Virtra has received 2.5 mil and FAAC 505k.....80% awarded to $VTSI.
Yes, I checked FAAC on govetribe yesterday and they showed a new 350k order. So far we've received 75%+ of the contract dollars.
That's awesome! so between our two posts it's another 1,350,000. These two large IDIQ contracts are going to make earnings less lumpy.
Cheers

I think other countries are and will take notice how the U.S. is training our Border agents and follow suite. Australian Government placed an order back in July for their Border protection agents and hypothetically they or any other country could too. The future looks bright.

Why would a company need a controller and CFO on the payroll? Many public companies do.
For several months....Donna Moore has been the interim CFO since his departure. The Job description states the controller will report to the CEO, CFO, and COO.

Milo systems ticker is ARTX
MEGGIT is public too
Lasershot is not
I have no clue on the ROI based on shows and exhibits but I'm guessing it could be extremely rewarding. Lots of dollars will be spent on training, Just a matter of who's systems will they adapt too; Virtra, Meggitt, Lasershot, or Milo.
According to the attendee list Lasershot and Milo aren't attending.
Virtras attending this Exhibition and conference early October..http://ausameetings.org/2016annualmeeting/
Virtra has a booth of 30 X 40 at a rough cost of 60K
This is a great Army exhibition/meeting to attend.....I like the fact their attending more and more military shows.
My plans for the meeting have changed and can't make it. Who do we send questions too again?
