Let's be honest here. The chart has nothing to do with the performance of the company. It's just a bunch of gamblers (myself included) speculating (more like praying) on long-awaited results.
To miss the late filing notification is pure negligence. It's embarrassing and shameful. If he were on my staff, he would be fired. He either doesn't give a crap about the shareholders or he doesn't appreciate or understand SEC disclosure requirements. Someone else here commented that maybe he is simply spread too thin with too many irons in the fire. Maybe. I just hope he isn't losing focus on this public company in lieu of his other private side gigs. In my humble opinion, he doesn't seem to behave as if this is a public company and there is absolutely no urgency or accountability. He has broad discretion to do what he wants when he wants in his own best interest. Almost none of his announcements ever come to fruition and in my view, his credibility is shot. His private side gigs have always had me concerned since he appears to be transferring what should be assets of the company into a separate "affiliated" entities that only he owns. Sometimes I get the impression that this pesky public company is simply a vehicle for him to raise cash while he ramps up his side gigs.
By the way, don't tell me to sell and move on. It appears that I have foolishly invested much too much of my hard-earned money trying to hit a home run on a pipe dream and I'm in waaaaay too deep. I just want this guy to produce as promised. It's been too long.
What makes you so confident?
Has anyone reached out to IR?
Thanks for taking the time to do that. You never know...the Company may actually take notice.
My guess is as good as any so here goes. No news for another 6 weeks. The PR was extremely optimistic. The real world reality is much different. IMHO there will be delays in obtaining product for testing, delays due to vacations and COVID, delays due to questions relating to the results, possible rerunning of tests, delaying in writing the report, etc. Nothing like this ever happens quickly or within the prescribed time limits.
I hope I am wrong. I intend to consider the impending price dip (its gonna happen) as an additional opportunity to buy from impatient hands.
Good luck all.
IMHO, the price didn't spike because the can has been kicked down the road again. We have been in an endless loop of "if this happens, than that". Now we are hearing that once we complete additional testing, then product ships. The reasons for additional testing to me seem a little vague. IMHO too many things can still go wrong. Don't get me wrong...I'm all in. I am just tempering my expectations. With the history of announcements and the timing of progress with this company, newer investors need to see more results before jumping in. Will they pay more when such results are announce... of course. I will be much happier when they announce definitively that additional testing has been successfully completed, the product works swimmingly and a huge order has been shipped! I may nibble a little between now and then...can't help myself.
I have faith like you and DeerBalls but admittedly I am becoming skeptical. I am NOT selling, just questioning what makes you so sure things are progressing?
I recall a prior PR referenced the intention to obtain audited statements. Not sure when that might happen.
I believe this gets resolved...soon.
May I ask what has led you to draw that conclusion?
I thought ignorance is bliss.
I just put a squirt of Vitastem in my motor oil. I read a tweet that said I would get 200 mpg. I also put a drop on my burger and it opened all of my arteries; no more cholesterol. This stuff is awesome!!
All kidding aside, I own millions of shares and just passing the time until the big announcement. If that doesn't pan out, I'm told to put a few drops of Vitastem on the back each share certificate and use them as wallpaper.
Love the stuff!
Let me understand this, the Company tweeted a possible additional use for the existing product. They did not announce a new product. Isn't that true?
So, Vitastem is like WD-40. Awesome. Now all we need are those pesky sales.
Slops, that's funny. Not sure if you were referring to me, but I was kind of whining.
Unfortunately there will probably be more opportunities to buy at these prices or lower.
Perhaps it is best to wait for a more auspicious time to present positive news or a PR or even any forward looking intentions or prospects.
I can buy into that. However, in the meantime, it would be nice to hear something/anything from our leader to assure us that the Company is alive and well; something like this:
“The past five years did not start out the way we anticipated, but at ViaDerma, we remain committed to our goal of establishing the commercial viability of our lead product VitaStem. We are humbled by the sacrifices made by so many investors over the past years and we are grateful for your continued patience. But make no mistake, we are confident that our continuing focus will drive exceptional growth opportunities, high investment returns and higher shareholder value creation over the long term. Thank you for remaining a loyal investor during these tumultuous times."
Even if the company has nothing finalized to report, I feel like it is time (past the time) for the company to at least give the shareholders a status update. That would go a long way to calming investor's nerves.
Has anyone had any success contacting IR?
Do you really think he would abandon 80,000,000 shares?
Seems like low volume nonsense. Gee, could somebody be selling a little here and there to drive the price down to buy back cheaper? I'm shocked.
If that's accurate, the Doc has more incentive than any of us to increase shareholder value. Make it happen Doc!! I got bills to pay.
My problem with all of these separate entities popping up is that they are not subsidiaries of VDRM. It smacks of the Doctor stripping value away from VDRM so that he can reap all of the benefits personally. Maybe the sales will run through VDRM, maybe not. At this point we may never know. Lets say for instance a guy named Steve Jobs creates some doohickey called an Iphone. Steve sets up a new entity called Jobble and starts selling the phones and makes billions. The Company he actually worked for might have a problem with that. Did the idea come from the Company? Did Steve use Company resources to develop it? Was it created during normal work hours at the company's place of business? Back to the Doc, I can't confirm it but it seems like he can just strip away any assets or other property of the company with impunity and run them through a separate company that is not a subsidiary or other affiliate of VDRM. Granted, good liability protection rules do advise that company's create single purpose entities to shield valuable assets. In most instances however, those companies are legally associated with the the parent company as a subsidiary or affiliate such that on a consolidated basis, the Parent reaps the benefits.
Sorry for the long winded post but just hoping that we shareholders benefit from these ancillary companies and products. For better or worse, we are at the Doc's mercy.
Why is this post considered off-topic?
The financials are the only thing we can trust at this point...and even that is questionable since they are unaudited (remember the forgotten debt debacle). Audited financial statements would make me much more comfortable. I going to go out on a limb and offer a positive spin...here goes. The Doc had an epiphany. He now understands that substance over flashy PR's wins the day. He understands that shareholders don't trust him and he is determined not to put out a PR until he has something concrete to report. He's tired of being bashed and he wants credibility. He also wants the stock price to go up to the next level. So when the PR comes out, it will be bona fide true and correct and material and will set the VDRM rocket ship in orbit and we will all be filthy rich.
I am very much in favor of not seeing fluff PRs. The flip side is silence. One might conclude from the prolonged silence however that the Company has nothing to report. That is scary. No new licensing agreements? No audit news? No Vitastem and Vitastem Ultra release news? No news on that LARGE hospital order? Did the escrow check clear?
DOC??? Anything?
Sorry, I should have posted a new message instead of hitting reply...not directed to you.
Hey Doc, just wanted to let you know that VDRM is a publicly traded stock. That means that the public owns shares of the company. That also means that every now and then you need to give us a clue as to what is going on with the Company. You see, how things usually work is a two-way street. On one side, investors such as myself, take their hard earned money and buy shares of stock of the company. Depending on the company, this could be referred to gambling. On the other side, management of the company tries to make money for the company by selling goods or services. The successful sale of goods and services generates profits, those sales and profits get announced to the public, and more people hear about the success of the company and they want to buy shares too and the stock price goes up. Think of it as providing shareholder value.
I just wanted to give you a refresher in case you had forgotten. I'm hoping that this hasn't been a bad roll of the dice. Hope to hear from you soon.
Signed: Bewildered Investor
Hoping we see .04 again this year...
ORCA, aren't you setting your sights a little low?? I was hoping for a lot more.
It has been said too many times, but that was all last year. It's a new year with renewed expectations. Doc, we've all loaded up. It's time to make good on all of your promises. Please don't let us down.
I have heard that expression. I hope the tide does rise soon because right now the ship has run aground. I am starting to agree with others that this has become a pure gamble play. I no longer believe that this is going to make me retirement wealthy. HOWEVER, I do think the odds of this at least going to .05 on a spike is pretty likely within the next 4 months. I guess I am going to have to start treating this like a short-term play as opposed to a long-term investment. I hope I am wrong because I am not a day trader...I have too many shares to day trade anyway. Come on Doc, I cleaned out my chimney for you to drop me a nice Christmas present!
In any event, I hope everyone has a Merry Christmas!! Let's make some money off this in 2022!!!!!!!!!!!
Wow, I wonder who owns that Company. I can't imagine it is VDRM. It seems like an underhanded way to gut assets, goodwill and shareholder value from VDRM. What a POS!!
I agree an RS at this price would be disastrous. If I were running the Company, assuming that the company cannot sustain itself from revenues, I would authorize another increase in the A/S. However, not all R/S' are a disaster. If the doctor can get the share price up to and hold around .40, then yeah maybe an R/S would work to get the stock above $2.00. At this price however, with no real recurring stream of revenues, an R/S would be a death knell.
"Indefinitely"!!?? Wow, is this all from your conversations with IR?
Maybe they have decided no more fluff PRs...that they will report news when there is settled, concrete news to share. To me that means we are on hold indefinitely since the train moves very slow here. As long as it is moving and not derailed, I will continue to hold (don't really have a choice).
So...care to reveal the content of those responses?
How do you know that?
It's hard to fantasize about $2.00, .42 or even .10 cents when we can't even stay above a penny. I am getting weary of these so called "buying opportunities". At some point isn't the stock supposed to go up??
Ground control to Dr. "O". Come-in Doc. Doc? Doc?? Our guess communication systems are down.
Guess Santa's going to skip our house again this year.
Doc??
In looking at the financial statements, the Doctor has a significant number of shares. In that vein, he is like the rest of us. In other words, it is in his best interest (and ours) to maximize the value of the stock so that he (and us) can make money (hopefully lots of money). That said, I do not believe that the Doctor would withhold information that could benefit the share price and him personally. To the contrary, I believe he would shout it from the rooftops. He wants this thing to be a huge success as much as we do. I will say that the Doctor may be guilty of, dare I say irrational exuberance in prematurely releasing press releases before terms are finalized probably to pacify us unruly shareholders who have waited years for something to crow about.
While the suspense is killing me, I believe he will release information on the escrow as soon as he is able to.
My two cents: Without a third party to hold the escrow, either the Seller or the Buyer has to hold the escrow monies. If I assume that the deal is still viable (big assumption at this point), the Dubai people are probably holding the escrow. If that is the case, they won't release it until certain conditions are satisfied. Those conditions would be spelled out in the escrow agreement which we are not privy to. Since we are not holding it, it obviously won't show up on our balance sheet. Nonetheless, having said all of that, I don't feel all warm and fuzzy in that there was no mention of the deal at all, not one iota. You would think that there would be some mention of it...at least in the footnotes. Still holding.
Went through the report. I concur that there is not one iota mention of the escrow. Also nothing to report under subsequent events. What a shame. I feel duped...again.
Otiko, if the deal fell through, be a man say so. If it was all a ruse to sell shares and line your pockets, there is a special place in Hell for you. YOU OWE US AN EXPLANATION AND NO MORE BULLS*%T PLEASE!!!
Thanks all.
When I click on that it says for the period ended 6/30.
I can't seem to find them at the moment. Are the escrow monies at least reported on the balance sheet. If they are received but not earned they should at least show up as a liability.
