yes comrade i will get right on it.
i am not part of any political movement that requires me to attack the other side. trying to have a friendly discussion with you is nearly impossible.
all politicians make personal attacks, either directly or through surrogates. i am not inclined to follow along. but if i was a politician i would have to do the same to survive or the rest of them would eat me alive.
CXTIe: If it is for real then all they have reported in the past would make it worth much more than it is. Would need it to be proven to be real, a filing would be a nice way to start.
Can't imagine buying it until then, other than looking at it like a lottery ticket that already has been half ripped.
good luck if you take the plunge.
Liberalism/Socialism is a disease
Then Conservatism = Paranoia and an unwillingness to have a flexible mind.
That describes you, because many conservatives I know have an open mind and will discuss the issues without resorting to personal attacks.
Communism means wanting to have clean air and the parts of earth that are frozen to remain so. Communism means having unpolluted water and birds, bees & other species remaining healthy. I guess I must be a commie pinko, better than being a disgruntled paranoid who has to insult others to try and make his point.
otc - would you feel any better if Osama Castro came out in support of Bush policies?
Does this mean we should go out and buy SUV's today? The local Hummer dealer has 100 on the lot, I bet I could get a great deal.
Of course they will say and do whatever will show up Bush for the fool he is.
If I agree with them does that make me a weak kneed quivering anti american liberal who supports IslamicCubo terrorism?
Wow the threat of ignore! geez all that shows is IGNORANCE and the unwillingness to listen to others and evaluate based upon facts and opinions.
PLEASE IGNORE ME, I would consider it a badge of honor. It would go with your pledge of not reading or posting on this board. Which you managed to do for about a week. LOL
Every Democratic candidate would be a breath of fresh air compared to most of the Republican warmongering testosterone laced lying creeps.
As for your standards, I doubt they mean much. Go back and reread all your posts on this board and note how many times you have backed off your positions and failed to follow through with arguments.
Ciao
Whatever Clinton would do would be a lot better than what Bush did.
Hillary is an Einstein compared to Bush being Henry "Huntz" Hall.
Younger viewers will need to look that one up. LOL
wall: It goes against all I believe to say we should stay one minute longer. But we (CHENEY) got us in and I am afraid I don't see a clear choice to leave without a diplomatic solution.
Republicans are doing the same thing. They will do anything to get elected. Majority of Americans, proved by the polls want to be out of IRAQ. I don't think a President can run a country based upon polls, but I don't think we have a President who has the brain capacity to make the right calls.
You are way too biased to be objective. Obviously I don't think we belong in IRAQ, but we screwed up big time going in and no clear thinking person can see a way to just pack up and leave without creating a horrible situation.
A hard edged diplomatic mission with other Middle Eastern nations IMO is the only real answer to getting out. I think we will have to wait for the next admin to provide that.
CXTIe: LJ: Those trades looked like they were just filling in the market maker for large amount of sales for the day. So in effect they are pre-arranged at some average price based upon what they sold.
Lentinman,
You have every H50 episode and hate British comedy.
You are one sick puppy for sure. And you don't read fiction. But you will watch Jack Lord playing cop.
Hey but there is hope for you:
Quentin Tarantino Turns Down 'Hawaii Five-O'
Quentin TarantinoQuentin Tarantino was horrified when studio bosses suggested he directs the big-screen version of cult '70s show Hawaii Five-O - he hates the series. Warner Bros. Pictures are currently developing a movie version of the Jack Lord-starring TV show, which ended in 1980 after 12 years.
He says, "My producing partner at the time Lawrence Bender was hanging out with some dude from Fox or Warners or whatever, and they said I should stop working on what I was doing, because I'd be so into this. I tried to watch the old TV show, but it sucks. I don't even like Hawaii."

Fawlty Towers - geez how could I forget that one. A true classic, I must be from Barcelona!
Cleese did the henpecked secretly defiant husband like nobody else.
In the spirit of your post, I can assume you want positive info.
so I will ignore "Oh yes and Casablanca sucks"
My vote for funny TV - Barney Miller
I would actually have to add Lentinman's Rockford as one of my runner ups, as a comedy/light drama, because Garner has a great sense of humor and timing. Really liked him in the original Maverick series. Also fondly remember that it was one of my Dad's favorites and we used to watch it together. Once he put a Met game on I would have to leaver the room.
Current favorite is Gordon Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares on BBC America. It makes them look like a country of total idiots. I laugh my head off at the goings on inside the restaurant kitchens.
There is of course Top Chef with Salman Rushdie's fourth wife Padma as host. Ladies present on board, will say no more on that subject.
My watching line up because of the 5 & 11 year old kids, includes Lilo & Stitch to The Simpsons. Tough for me to sit through either of those, but at least they balance it out by watching Myth Busters, Dirty Jobs and various nature shows. It's good to have intellectually curious kids who don't play video games 24/7, I would have done myself in long ago if that were the case. LOL
As for current personality, it is the oddball team of Bob Shrum & Pat Buchanan when they debate the issues. They crack me up with the wit and total opposite sides of every issue. Yet they can agree once in awhile and seem to actually like each other. As much as I really like the Chris Matthews show, he can be frustrating to watch because he loves to talk and does not let people answer until he has talked himself out. Especially fun to watch when he has a time delayed satellite guest on the show.
Movies- Really don't care very much for the special effects based movies that have come into play since Star Wars got going. It's like Chinese food, an hour after you watch it you want to see a real movie. Recent exception, took the kids to see "The Last Mimzy", clever story and the special effects made it work, no shooting violence crap. It had a great message, you don't need to have kids with you to see it. Mostly like foreign movies now that rely on plot and acting. The British crime drama's are usually pretty good.
Almost any old movie with Burt Lancaster, Robert Mitchum, Kirk Douglas, Errol Flynn or a combination of them is usually great for me. I will even watch some old John Wayne with Maureen O'Hara or Jane Russell.
Favorite movie would have to be the original Producers with Mel Brooks, Gene Wilder, Dick Shawn as Hilter (does not get better than that).
Runner up FATSO, with Dom Deluise ... finally was able to get a DVD version, however they edited out some things.
banjo, don't know what will happen... however those presentations don't always yield instant results. Could take weeks or months. The important hook up would be with a few firms willing to write up a research report and put their retail & institutional customers in.
This company also has NASDAQ near term potential. I look at CFSG as a model for them to emulate.
good luck
Did not have to read beyond the first paragraph:
"The morality and culture of the holocaust is your culture, not our culture. In fact, burning living beings is forbidden in our religion, even if they be small like the ant, so what of man?! The holocaust of the Jews was carried out by your brethren in the middle of Europe, but had it been closer to our countries, most of the Jews would have been saved by taking refuge with us."
What a bunch of crap. Of course they would not have burned them, just cut heads off.
Len,
You know of course I almost agree with that post. I would however start the finance information being taught at a much earlier age. It might deflate the sales at Wal-marts toy department, but so be it. Imagine if kids started doing a cost benefit analysis of buying toy A vs. toy B.
The Wall Street Journal offers a student edition for about a $100.00 per year for an entire class of 30 students. I think it is geared for High School. I wonder how many of those they sell? Obviously a loss leader for them. I fully intend to purchase that for my kids class when the time is right. In the meantime I bought my son a few books on the subject in addition to trying to teach him what I can.
As for Kansas on a map, could be there are not enough maps in Kansas for the Kansanistas to learn where they are. We need to take up a collection for the map fund.

Nasty picture, how unfortunate that you have nothing of substance other than stupid photo's and images. That is your response to FRED being an empty suit.
Exactly how old are you? We have never determined if you finished middle school yet, as you either post nonsense or fly off the handle and insult those you don't agree with.
Get used to hearing "Madam President" LOL it would be priceless just to hear you squirm for 8 long ugly years.
This is an all time great statement:
The O/S is irrelevant. It's the float that matters.
That is funny. How do you calculate EPS, p/e, etc. How is a value investor going to decide to buy a stock. Flippers/traders/manipulators might be more concerned in the short term with float, but everyone else for a long term investment would be focused on O/S.
That would explain your posting history. I also have known and worked side by side with professional traders and never met one who would disclose his intentions publicly.
I guess by definition a Charlatan you might be.

BEIJING, Sept. 4 /Xinhua-PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- China Fire & Security Group, Inc. (Nasdaq: CFSG - News; ''China Fire'' or ''the Company''), a leading industrial fire protection products and solutions provider in China, announced today that the Company has successfully secured two new contracts with Wuhan Iron & Steel Group (''Wuhan Steel'') and Handan Iron & Steel Group (''Handan Steel''), for a contract value of approximately $4.1 million and $2.9 million respectively. Contract Wins
Wuhan Steel, located in central China's Hubei province, is the third largest steel company in China with annual product output of over 10 millions tons. Handan Steel, located in Hebei Province, is one of the top 20 steel companies in China. Wuhan Steel is spending about $1.5 Billion for building four new plants in this year and Handan Steel are expanding into a new region building half a dozen new plants. Under these contracts, China Fire will provide total fire protection solutions for the first phase (two plants) of Wuhan Steel, and for the initial phase of Handan Steel's overall expansion spending about $1.3 Billion over the next two years. In all these contracts, China Fire provides the Company's state-of-the-art patented products including linear heat detectors (LHD), controllers and water mist systems. China Fire expects to recognize revenues from these new contracts over the next 12-18 months.
''We are excited to announce the new contract wins with Wuhan Steel and Handan Steel, reflecting the continuation of the existing business relationships, as we have already won over $18 million in cumulative contracts with these two companies in the past. With the introduction of the new fire codes for the iron and steel industry, we are working with our clients on building their new plants as well as retrofitting their existing facilities.'' commented Mr. Brian Lin, CEO of China Fire.
''These new contract wins demonstrate that China Fire is benefiting from the growth in the Iron and Steel industry in China as large steel companies are undergoing its expansion, relocation, and modernization. This trend has just started and is still in its early stage. We expect that China Fire will benefit more from this trend in the future,'' continued Mr. Brian Lin, CEO of China Fire.
2007 Financial Guidance
With the backdrop of the new contracts and based on the current business outlook, the Company expects, for the fiscal year 2007, the revenue will be in the range of $44.5 million to $45.5 million, the net income in the range of $14.7 million to $15.0 million, and the earnings per share in the range of $0.53 to $0.54 per share. These projections are based on generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
''As a company that has recently been listed on NASDAQ, we are pleased to provide an initial annual financial guidance for 2007. We have signed significant amount of contracts so far in this year, including the ones we just announced today, and expect to sign more during the remaining four months of the year. With the strong growth in our business across all industrial sectors, with iron and steel in particular, and with the $29 million backlog that was carried over from 2006, we are very comfortable about the numbers provided in the guidance. We will keep our guidance updated with major developments of our company in the future,'' concluded Mr. Brian Lin, CEO of China Fire.

Way to much turnover of the company. Obviously it could have finally landed in the hands of a quality deal, but usually these are serial promoter/pumper deals and it scares me away.
Congrats for the win niles!
Thanks for the work SSK/LEN.
Although I really don't pay much attention to the contest after it starts, I have found it makes me focus on picking stocks for my own portfolio and getting rid of the crap and keeping the winners. I was lucky this time in only owning 3 of my picks during the contest and 2 out of the 3 were up.
Although I often agree with Ishmael's posts, this issue is pretty simple.... You either believe in laws as they currently exist or you don't.
It really is not an issue of race or economics, the fact is people entering the country illegally don't belong. It is mostly our fault for not enforcing the borders. A closed border with a proper guest worker system would allow people who want to come here to work the ability to do so. They could also apply for permanent status and eventual citizenship.
I love other cultures and the greatness they bring to this country, as almost all of us were from somewhere else I don't understand why people would be anti immigrant.
Just took a trip down the Columbia River Gorge. Along the banks there are platforms where native Americans only can fish from without regard to the fishing rules applied to everyone else. Wow we ravaged and destroyed most of them, stole the land & country and we threw them a bone (fish bone). We are great.
OldPro: I do like the product, however they don't have a monopoly on it.
I often buy Nancy's Kefir, Trader Joe's sells private label Kefir, which may be made by Lifeway, not sure on that.
OT: Market maker manipulation - This is the most overused expression on IHUB. Fortunately VMC'ers don't normally use it on this board.
When a stock goes down the MM's are manipulating, when the stock goes up it is a great stock going to the moon, on a run ... nothing to do with the MM's manipulating.
I feel much better.
I can offer hundreds of guitarists and styles I would rather listen to. Shred guitar as defined below just does not work for me. Give me Blue Oyster Cult or give me deathtomusic.
Shred guitar refers to a guitar playing style where technical proficiency is used to maximize (and sometimes specifically demonstrate) speed, often in a neoclassical framework. Beginning in the 1980s, shred guitar began to appear in a heavy metal sub-genre known as neo-classical metal, since it often involved phrases and techniques reminiscent of Classical music. - Wikipedia
