Company started from the high tech collapse in kanata. Many former nortel, Jdsu, newbridge, and mitel engineers work there.
Backhaul to the fiber core, increased demand with tablets and smartphones, drwi is positioned for growth.
Must be the news about fibertower needing their new horizon products.
Nice late day surge.
Sorry, Steve Jobs sold the apple one from his parents garage.
http://www.pcworld.com/article/210471/steve_jobs_garage_sale_one_apple1_for_sale.html
If your don't know the story CNBC put out a great documentary...I think it was called Mac World, or something like that.
Are you trying to say that all otc/pink companies rip off investors or is that just a blank statement that means nothing. Or maybe it's just those two companies haven't ripped off investors.
Is your contention that the only fraud committed is by "penny stock operators."
TIA
Please you should not ASSume anything about me.
Exactly we sort of cleaned it up.
Apple started in Steve Jobs garage
Facebook a door room.
That's the way to go I guess.
Sorry if this sentiment has been repeated. As a foreigner (Canada) this is my first foray into the American venture markets. It seems to me that the mentality of this market is backwards.
The media says that America needs more scientists and engineers for competition among start-up nations. So, why does is not nurture it’s start-up companies and have a market to raise capital and facilitate the transition from start-up to profit generator.
Why do the policy makers and persons of influence state that this (otc and pinks markets) are fraudulent and “please don’t invest in them.” It is obvious to me, that a group of sharks are destroying companies for their own personal benefit and this “gun slingers” mentality I see is quite pathetic. I thought Americans were patriots, I thought Americans looked out for what’s best for America and stuck together.
My suspicion is that if these venture markets worked properly unemployment figures would decrease by a point. When I’m finished with JBII I’m out (30% P so far).
I would like to see an anti-shorting regulation of any company with a market cap of less than 500 Million....and inforced.
Fear is the equalizer to greed which is lacking with the abusive nss. The sec will eventually pull their heads from the sand. Cheers to this board.
Why would you sell any shares. I have not sold any either even when I thought about it around dec 15 ish. Wait there must be some reason to sell this let's see if I can come up with ten.
JBII can only receive sorted, expensive, washed, granulated plastic.
Garbage in "black gold" out is not profitable.
They will never get any permits.
Nobody will buy their product.
That's all right now...can someone else help...Raw.
Truthfully the only problem I have is the accounting revolving door. If there is another one I'll have to go and I really don't want to. Other than that this is the most undervalued, best play I can find.
It seems that the longs are really holding onto their shares. Not even the typical flipping pennies for iPads is occurring. When JBII stops selling the price action is really going to heat up. I am looking forward to the interest that JBII will get as they progress and this tight shares structure is going to make us longs very happy.
I think it is more likely that JBII does not want to subjugate it's new customer with a barrage of phone calls. I'm sure they would be aggressive and annoying. The name of the new customer will be revealed in due time.
You stated dec 9 2010 that the share count was 51 241 926
On mar 4 2011 you stated the share count was 54 037 026
A difference of 2 795 100
Over that time period 2 680 757 shares have been sold short
Leaving a difference of 114 343
Is that the shares jbii have diluted or is that naked short selling.
Just saying
Like the 70950 shares sold short today.
Dilution has two sources
JBII issuing more shares or naked short selling...Meaning the shorters have not bowered the shares to sell creating added liquidity to the stock. Eventually the naked shorts need to be covered.
I hope JBII keeps getting "walked down" I have 30 000 shares in this already and I'm now ready to add 20 000 more. Any thought? Come on guys, I know you can do it, just try a little harder for me...please.
TIA
Has anyone here (or spouse) tried the skin cream? Just wondering how good is the product.
hello...hey. I lost 1500 on this POS, have been out for awhile. Until something changes this to me is just a shell if you know what I mean.
Only to be jumped again. I like this bid fighting.
I don't really follow this, but aren't they near bankrupt as well. I remember reading the 10q and it did not look good.
I believe that the (secret) is bear skin. The fat in the skin helps break the carbon chains. Unfortunally, it is very expensive and hard to come by; so I believe you may be right with you ASSumption that the process is not viable. Thank you
WoW Dude, nice one, a little on the extreme side don't ya think.
The world needs a lot of energy.
Was the higher cash burn rate for that period related to the engineering and re-engineering of a brand new process. Or is it because you believe John B was "scamming investors".
What about subpenny? Come on your being generous.
Yes but over time it has the potential to grow, maybe even into something large.
What about pak-it. This is not an all or nothing senerio.
That o.k making mountains out of mole hills is another cognitive distortion. Besides the court of public opinion does not really care. Besides a few, that will surely make their voices heard in 5,4,3,2.
Is this a proven fact because I have my doubts with your statements.
Maybe, but I think that this is an example of a cognitive distortion. Max and Min thinking is not healthy. Why do you think the outcome is a binary conclusion.
We will see
A rule to live by
Look for broken stocks, not broken companies.
Maybe you could help give examples of what is broken about this company. Otherwise this is a broken stock. And yes, the maket is wrong with this one.
Cool. Pattern recognition is the number one characteristic of intelligence. The statement I think you were referring to in my post as being ironic is “when the facts change, it’s time to change you mind”. The patterns of 2009, 2010, that you wish to believe are till intact, I believe they are not.
I don’t think it will be much longer for verification of the new pattern. Notice the maturing of JBII? Notice the change in language? I feel we are seeing the beginning of a company destined for the big boards. You may choose to live in the past if you wish, please BEAR in mind that the markets are a forward looking mechanism.
In my opinion the current share price of JBII should be 4.85. I’m sure I’m not alone. Selling at these levels is just nuts. Flipping at these levels is too risky. The shares are locked up in long hands.
Perhaps. When the facts change, it's time to change your mind. Maybe JB thought that the spread of mis-information needed to stop.
Nice Post. Rest assured John Bordyniuk is working very hard at building this company and creating share holder value.
I agree. I think the tech is pretty cool however, how does it work in different enviroments. AAPL has what 17 Billion in cash (I didn't listen to the CC yesterday) why would AAPL not just create what GSLO is working on.
PR after PR something is definitly up.
I love this post. I'm actually lol.ing.
This company does not need to be destroyed for personal gain. This company needs to be embraced for the health of the planet.
Going back to the very beginning JBII looked like a good canidate to be manipulated to the downside. Especially after the huge run a little over a year ago.
JB has accomplished a great deal in a very short time frame, and there is very little doubt in my mind that JBII has the goods to change the way humanity recycles plastic.
A quote from Jim Cramer comes to mind.
When the facts change, it's time to change your mind.
There is a company called plasco near Ottawa that does something similar. Very expensive start up costs, the market will be able to absorb many environmental technology companies. Coke and pepsi share a large market. Material waste stream is a huge market, everything produced eventually ends up there.
Yes, most of these proceedures have happened to fraudulent companies. Rest assured, this is not one of them, thus proving to be the exception to the rule.
This is not a company that needs to be broken for personal gain. This company needs to be embraced for the gain and health of our planet.
Natural gas is an alternative fuel, however, it has less energy per unit of fuel. Larger trucks need to generate significant torque and LNG causes additional wear on the vehicle.
What the heavy trucking industry wants is cheap diesel. Check out what the ceo of cummings said regarding using natural gas in their engines.
