Sorry if this sentiment has been repeated. As a foreigner (Canada) this is my first foray into the American venture markets. It seems to me that the mentality of this market is backwards.

The media says that America needs more scientists and engineers for competition among start-up nations. So, why does is not nurture it’s start-up companies and have a market to raise capital and facilitate the transition from start-up to profit generator.

Why do the policy makers and persons of influence state that this (otc and pinks markets) are fraudulent and “please don’t invest in them.” It is obvious to me, that a group of sharks are destroying companies for their own personal benefit and this “gun slingers” mentality I see is quite pathetic. I thought Americans were patriots, I thought Americans looked out for what’s best for America and stuck together.

My suspicion is that if these venture markets worked properly unemployment figures would decrease by a point. When I’m finished with JBII I’m out (30% P so far).

I would like to see an anti-shorting regulation of any company with a market cap of less than 500 Million....and inforced.
