Lets hope the WAM is the next Fitbit.
I guess 1st things 1st, finish the product development. I'm disappointed they did not have a stronger business plan on how they plan on making money off the product. Perhaps it too earlier to think about such things, but in my humble opinion they should have a plan. It may just be me but Torvec's core competency is not in marketing or retail sales. One can always hope they can pull it off.
Did management go into detail on how they plan to make money off from WAM?
Is Torvec going to manufacture?
Is Torvec going to market / retail the WAM?
Just wondering?
DK and others were excited for this Board Meeting... lets see if that excitement results in some insider buying.... just my humble opinion.
I think only the die hards remain.
Do you really agree or is that your opinion.
Put me in coach..I'm ready to play..lol
I think they are still testing to see if it will work as a boat anchor.... Just Kidding please don't take me court... its humor..lol
Seems like a Torvec yard sell may be in the near future. Maybe I can pick up one of those rock the world ISO-Torque's.
For me it very expensive to take off work fly half way across the country to attend the meeting. I hope by posting on this board some of the questions & concerns will be brought up in the meeting.
But if someone has a private plane an wants to pick me up... I'm in..lol
Kind of feels like ground hog day. If they don't the sun another year of development.
My guess is you can take last years meeting minutes and just change the dates... I hope I'm wrong...
Memorial day; please take time today to remember those that purchased our freedom and liberties, that we enjoy every day.
To all who severed this great nation I thank you!!!!!!!!!!!
Sad when you get excited about a 0.06 change!
Same diatribe. In my humble opinion the verbiage is weak. Words from the new 10K.
Clinical trials
Development of proprietary technology
Targeting to market prototypes
Computer modeling
Design modifications
Technology have been temporarily suspended
We postponed the initiation of this additional equity raise...
Of course there were a couple of new patents mentioned.
Opportunity for Taug & Pilus?

Moving forward, I would like the current management to lay out the business plan.
How do they expect to make money on the WAM, do we sell the technology or are we going to try to make product? If so what plans are in place to mass produce the WAM’s. How will it be markets, direct sales thru Torvec’s web site or a distributor and retail outlets. What the price point to produce each unit, what’s is the retail? What are the legal liabilities with the product, someone wearing the WAM falls asleep and sues?
I don’t give a rats arse about the potential market and sales… I want some concrete answers as to how we get there.
Should have sold years ago, but in reading the meeting notes and web site update, it looked like Torvec was moving forward. The isotorque was winning races and they were offering a aftermarket product. I think the web site still has it offered. I know the after market would not be much, but at least I thought they had a product. They told us about the China deal. The told us the pump testing was going well. Had they been honest I would have sold years ago.
It's past time for the company to be open and honest. Tell us what they are finding in the pump testing. Lay out how they hope to launce the WAM do-hicky and why that is going to be any different from the other failed attempts.
The boat has sailed on share price, it basically a write off.
You think about it, the company’s core competency or incompetency was in the automotive world of gear & pumps. With all that talent they have failed, as you indicated failure is part of life. I don’t know how the management of Torvec expects to venture into a field they have no core competency and expect success. I don’t want to take away anything form the new guy they hired, he may be a whiz kid…but look at his resume on linked in. Only a few years under his belt.
Of course I hope like hell they hit this out of the park, but from a business and reality view I don’t see it. I think the pump is the last hope we have and all resources should be focused on making that successful. Of course this is Just my humble opinion.
Some one wants out in a bad way! Geeesh.... what did Dandy Don sing.... turn out the lights the party's over.....
Showing my age with that reference.
Hope things turn around, at least things can't get much worse...0.10.
Seems the rules of posting are changing. Peace and love to all!!!
It's only 0.158 from being over.
The only hope is those insiders still holding the bag will pump & dump this puppy. Perhaps riding the wave one can recover a lil bit. Just my humble opinion.
Time for Torvec to update its web site. If the WAM is the future, it should have a prominent place on the home page. I see the ISO, PUMPS & Steer Drive, no WAM. Come on man, get with the program!
Good thing this company is not a horse…. Can you say Glue factory!!!! Wilbur!!!
Hey if they are working 24-7, they must have the WAM perfected.
The fact that we are at 0.16 tells me there is no confidence in the company at all. If the new product had any promise, we would see higher pps. It time for the management to give the share holders a realistic update on what is going on. Pretty good April fools joke.
Interesting volume today.
You hit the nail right on the head. No real insider buying is troubling.
You may find this of interest.. or not?

Let's do the Torvec limbo..... how low can you go!!!!!!!!!!!
May I ask a favor from anyone that will be attending the shares holder meeting?
Since the company has changed direction and is favoring the WAM technology, could someone ask what price point they are looking at in the market place? I think that answer may tell the story of success or failure of this product. Some folks may be willing to pay $100 others not. I would like to know what the target price is. If some could ask that question, it would be greatly appreciated.
While we wait in agony on Torvec to do something, I was thinking; what would I do to turn around this company. Please indulge my fantasy as I become king for a day.
The iso torque seems to have a proven design, but lacks durability. This seems to be materials of construction or proper heat treatment or a combination of both. I have worked many years in the automotive mfg world. I’ve been involved with several development projects where the proper heat treatment was the key to success. My plan is to issue a couple of million shares. Find some of the best retired heat treat engineers and material science specialists and bring them on board. Payment would 250K shares per year up to 1 million shares. If we choose wisely and use retirees from any of the major auto companies we would also have some great networking opportunities.
Again I would look at retired engineers to help with the pump as well.
There is a wealth of retired talent out there looking for a challenge; the opportunity to be on the ground floor of an American upstart company that has great potential. Many retirees would find this very appealing. How great a feeling to tell your grandkids .. see that factory… I had a hand in its creation.
Go ahead and let the WAM develop as it will, but use the retired guys to continue development and tweaking on the Torvec core product. If I were king for a day! Of course this diatribe is just my humble opinion.
I hate to agree with you. I hope they room on the shelf next to the ISO torque, FTV, Ice technology & the IVT to store the bracelet.
Nice pick up in volume, the wrong direction. At least we are being traded.
Truth and honestly is what matters here. I base my investing decision on the information provided by the SEC filing and other public information. I knew full well that Torvec was a development company when it went public. The risk was well defined. My subsequent purchases were based off the stock holder meetings and other SEC filing that suggested products were marketable. Again I understand the risk that it may not sell. I don’t expect the company to reverse course and tell us Opps we goofed, it’s not really ready. We were told testing on pump is going well and would be done by Q4..now pushed out to 2016. “If you don’t like the stock get out”. Had the truth been told I would have sold a long time ago. It’s has nothing to do with the competency of the management, it just a pure business decision. I probably would have kept Torvec on my radar. Many tout TG as saving the company and that may be the case, but guess what there would be no company if it were not for shareholders that took it public. We all put our hard earned moneys in this company, we should expect and demand that the company stop playing word games and tell us the truth. Just my Monday morning rant…..lol
As of December 31, 2014, we had approximately 350 shareholders of record of our common stock. As of December 31, 2014, we had 45,716,298 common shares issued and outstanding.
Anyone care to guess how many of the 350 shareholders are pissed off?
The good news is some one picked up 80K shares..bad news is someone sold 80K shares.
Did we not hear the same thing about the ISO torque? We had a tab on the web site to order your aftermarket ISO torque. Again, I hope this works out. I'm holding on my stock, lsot too much to sell. I can not get excited by words from the management. Show me some actions and I'll change my outlook.
How many times were we on the verge of selling somehting? FTV,ISO tourge, IVT, Ice Ice Baby..... I hope like hell they pull a rabbit out of the hat, but IMHO they seem to lack focus, shifting from one product to another. I hope I'm wrong, but I don't see the potential in the bracelet. I think the make or break will be the pump and I hope this sidetrack into the bracelt does not hinder work on the pump. Again just my humble opinion.
NE hit with tons of snow... need to get the FTV out of hiding and run that puppy in all this mess.
