I agree to a point. Kuni did say this would have immediate shareholder value. However, he did NOT say he was buying a company just to increase the short-term PPS. I believe he is planning to buy a company for the long-term benefit of PIHN and its stockholders, That is the immediate value. Any PPS improvement in the short-term is simply icing on the cake.
No, it's not what the whole PR is about. I do acknowledge that it's on the list and hopefully will be expedited.
Constructive criticism for PPJE and CEO Basu:
First, this is GREAT news. However, I believe that there is an overwhelming need for Ms. Basu to turn PR responsibilities over to someone with stronger writing skills. This latest PR was very poorly written IMO and detracted from the underlying benefits it was trying to communicate.
As the company's face to investors (current and prospective), we need PPJE to present a professional image.
I think oneinamillion is spot on. This acquisition isn't about immediate PPS, it's about long-term, sustainable share growth & profitability from the integration of business components to ultimately create a viable, multi-dimensional technology company. Accomplish this and PPS will take care of itself far into the future.
We need to keep in mind that most start-up companies fail within the first three years. The owners have to scratch, crawl and do anything in their power to survive. It can very painful. And guess what? If you are a shareholder, you are an owner. That means you've invested your money and faith in the management team. That's what you're buying into. There will be pain.
Either trust Kuni or sell. It's that simple.
Very interesting. Thanks!
Get WHAT in front of Ike?
When I start feeling optimistic, I can always count on coming here to read all the naysaying. Jeez people
You're out of your mind & so am I. I say keep buying
Left of the link to the B2B Directory on my last post. Here it is:

JD: here's a B2B directory of video games retailers (as mentioned in Ken's latest update). Take your pick - it's a big field to choose from.
Well written ratso! Sounds like someone with some marketing experience - refreshing! Thanks
I believe you are partially correct UI. Placement IS very important but not MORE important. I would say that the combination of the two is what makes for a successful campaign. As an advertiser myself, I do know that when negotiating with the media, placement is one of the discussion points. What this conversation boils down to is how good of a negotiator & marketer Ike's media rep is.
Let's see - Superbowl halftime ads - what are they running for these days one or two million for a 30 second spot? Yeah, I think that's too expensive.
I disagree - advertising frequency has a far greater impact and reach than a one-time splash. Marketing 101. And, 1/8 page is large enough to get noticed.
Assuming that the heavy majority of people who post on sites such as this one are also investors in the stock leads one to inquire: why come on here and bash the stock & fellow investors who post optimism? Aren't we all in this for share growth? Or are these investors who are selling short & trying to bring the stock down. Or are these just people with no stake who just have too much time on their hands and miserable lives?

Here the latest MRNJ news on PINKS:
August 20, 2010
Metatron Inc. CEO Ralph Riehl has transferred 2,963,134 personal shares of MRNJ from restricted stock into free trading stock. Metatron Inc. COO Denis Sluka has transferred 2,693,134 personal shares of MRNJ from restricted stock into free trading stock. Any revenue generated from potential sale of this stock is planned to be
reinvested back into Metatron Inc.
NOTE: At latest close PPS, these combined sales would raise approximately $30,000. Even if they reinvest in the company, that amount won't move mountains.
I bought this stock betting the acquisition of TAC-AIR would go thru. If it does not, TADF has little going for it IMO as the quarterly report documents.
Here's a look at Marvet Britto of the Britto Agency:

Couldn't agree more SAB. HSN is a perfect fit.
Ken, I think you nailed it - this company fits the description given by Kuni.

Excellent post Tenacious. Keep the faith.
Sent an email to PMDP management requesting an update but not holding my breath. Will post any response I receive.
Response to Email that I sent to XsunX:
Question: “Has XsunX benefited from H.R. 3585 legislation?”
Answer from XsunX: “Not directly, but it does provide additional funding for grants. As you know XsunX has applied for a grant and if we were to be selected then there would be a direct benefit. The main benefit for XsunX under the legislation is the overall benefit to the solar industry and a rising tide raises all ships. The down side is that Congress has begun to rob from the bills funding to pay for other things such as extended unemployment benefits.”
Vanessa Watkin, Communications Director (XsunX)
Bottomline: XsunX partnered first with Intevac. XsunX provides the technology & Intevac provides the manufacturing process capability. Then AQT partnered with Intevac, raising the capital to build a dedicated plant for producing the finished CIGS cell product. (Now operational.) Hopefully, this will start paying off soon for us all.

This news fits perfectly with the partnership announcement made this time last year:
XsunX and Intevac Team Up to Develop Breakthrough Thin-Film Photovoltaic Manufacturing
Santa Clara, CA | Posted on September 21st, 2009
XsunX, Inc., the developer of advanced, thin-film photovoltaic (TFPV) solar cell technologies and manufacturing processes, and Intevac, Inc. (Nasdaq: IVAC), the world's leading provider of magnetic media deposition equipment to the hard disk drive (HDD) industry, announce that they are working under a Joint Business Agreement to collaborate in the development of techniques and equipment for the production of commercially marketable processes and equipment for the manufacture of CIGS (copper indium gallium selenide) thin-film solar cells.

Rolland Thompson is the CEO of TAC-AIR not TADF. TAC-AIR is the company TADF is hoping to acquire.
Attorney Letter dated 8-19-10:
http://www.otcmarkets.com/otciq/ajax/showFinancialReportById.pdf?id=35789
Not kidding - he emailed me at 8:46pm last night. Why would I be kidding?
Response from Rolland Thompson (CEO, TAC-AIR):
I sent the following email to TAC-AIR on 8/15:
"As an investor in TADF, I am very interested to know the status of the acquisition progress. Can you provide an update?"
Here is the response I received from Rollie Thompson last night:
"We are still in discussions and everything is still moving forward at this time. Sincerely, RC"
I always find it interesting when people participate in message boards for stocks they have no intention of investing in. Guess it's a hobby of sorts for them I don't know.
Another option is FreeConferenceCall.com which allows up to 90-100 participants I believe.
Does anyone know the status of the following:
"TADF has signed a Letter of Intent to acquire Tactical Air Support, Inc."
I have sent emails to both companies but am not holding my breath.
More on H.R. 3585:
"Dedicated Funding for Solar Research and Development: The bill authorizes $350 million for Dept. of Energy (DOE) to carry out these activities in FY 2011, rising to $550 million in FY 2015.
Photovoltaic Provisions: The Solar Technology Roadmap Act authorizes DOE to conduct at least 10 photovoltaic demonstration projects ranging from one-to-three megawatts in size and three-to-five solar projects greater than 30 megawatts in size. DOE is also required to study the performance of photovoltaic installations and identify opportunities to improve the energy productivity of these systems. In addition, DOE must establish a program of RD&D related to the reuse, recycling, and safe disposal of photovoltaic devices."
http://www.speaker.gov/newsroom/legislation?id=0343
Does anyone know the status of H.R. 3585: Solar Technology Roadmap Act? (Provides solar research/tech funding.) As I understand it, this was passed in the House late last year and to be voted on in the Senate - but I can't find any news on their vote. I've emailed XsunX for an update, but not holding my breath for a response.
Could be a huge boost for the stock if they get earmarked.
