Yeah, this is a really weird PR... There is not a single number in there, not as far as efficiency, temperatures, current needed, time until numbers out, time until certification, nothing at all. I am only happy with this PR as long as it is not followed by more than 2 weeks at most of silence. If the numbers will start coming in soon then ok, this is amazing news. Otherwise it doesn't give us all that much more over what we had before. And the pps reflects that.
But for today at least I'm really excited, they have at least made it even less likely for themselves to back out of it later. If it is fully functional then no excuse not to test it, certify it and produce it.
Exactly 3 months since the last PR. Which didn't even have any breakthrough news in it. 3 months with no updates or news whatsoever is inexcusable. They could at the very least put something up on the website or facebook, twitter, blogs, something... And their excuses that people attack their PRs or that their IP is in danger if they PR details are so flimsy and full of BS... Are you listening WDRP? What excuse could you possibly have for 0 transparency? Damn, I'm mad! Ok, feel better...
Lol... Hard to disagree it's not looking good. It's technically possible they actually do have something and are days away from releasing numbers but it's harder and harder to believe.
If they care at all and in any way about their image and credibility they should keep investors informed and issue a PR. Doesn't matter what the news is, we need to know. There are many valid excuses for this many delays in the development process and there are even plenty of very valid excuses for failing completely, but there is no excuse at all for not telling us what is going on. The defense that some people will attack the PR is so flimsy and stupid. Yes, there will always be people like that, with any stock, just ignore them.
Also, since they always seem to say that the efficiency numbers are good and they are not worried in the least about them then what possible reason could there be for not releasing some preliminary numbers?? Yes, it won't be quite as impressive as it would be if they wait until the very last moment where every single improvement has been done and numbers are the best they will be but on the other hand it will be followed by multiple PRs saying the numbers keep improving which will both be more beneficial to their credibility as well as make the pps o higher in the long run. The bottom line is, assuming everything is on the up and up with them there is ABSOLUTELY NO reason not to keep us informed of progress.
With 3 months of 0 news and all the missed promises so far it's getting very hard to disagree with the negative people... It's starting to look more and more like they are at worst a fraud and at best incredibly incompetent. And they only have themselves to blame...
Hmmm, that was the one negative post that I thought hey, there's something there, some actual facts. Well, other than all the ones saying there's no product and the company is constantly missing deadlines, which unfortunately are all true... Anyway, guess I feel better overall about it. But they better release some actual news and soon.
Yeah sure, if they have a product that is A. very very good and B. very well proven and documented as far as efficiency then the stock will do very well. But no matter what it will not do as well as it would have if they had been more honest about progress. There has been way too much waiting for things that never happened and way too much mud thrown their way for the delays, for supposedly being a scam and all that blah blah. If they had promised less and delivered exactly what they promised their credibility would not be as damaged as it is now. In the grand scheme of things investors would not mind waiting two years to get rich, especially with this type of company and product. But they do mind waiting two years after repeatedly being promised results are just around the corner.
And if the product is anything less than amazing, with their reputation intact they could have still made the stock go really high since it's a huge pie they are getting a slice of so even a tiny slice is very good. But after all the disappointment and with all the negative people now gathered here and all the speculation that they can't deliver, anything other than an awesome product will not be enough for a really big increase in pps.
I hope I'm proven wrong.
We're getting killed and the company is not saying jack... Nice. Still doubt it's a scam but it's the most incompetent bunch ever. After a certain point it won't even matter how good the product is, nobody will trust them or buy the stock anymore.
That's not what I get from that... Besides, with no proven product what more than a letter of intent can you ask for. I'd say that's pretty good actually.
As far as "fluffy and with no substance", hmmm, what else fits that description... A certain "investigation", if only I could remember the name of the agency... Oh well...
Completely agree with all of that. But letting deadlines (no matter how soft they may be) go by is ok once, twice, three times... But after a while you have to actually deliver. This is the 10th round of new parts they need to get and every time it takes months. At some point you have to say ok, this is good enough to release, we will keep making it better after it's already bringing in revenue. If without more and more parts it isn't competitive enough to be released at all then we have a serious problem because there is no guarantee at all that this round of new parts will all of a sudden make it much better than it is. Even if they don't put the thing into production, some preliminary numbers could be released. It won't hurt them at all to release some decent numbers and then every couple of months release a PR saying it got even better with the new parts. Bottom line is so far they showed nothing at all. If they have something they need to show it, even if it isn't 100% perfect. If they don't have anything to show then...
Two months ago the last PR promised testing round the corner. Still no news of any kind. And if June is "the months" for WDRP it better happen fast, because there isn't a lot of time left...
He doesn't care. He is the ultimate insider and has all the info. If he knows they have nothing he can't really get upset about the pps dropping, he's probably unloading all he can (which is not much judging by the volume in the last few months) and just hoping this goes away. If they have something strong he knows the pps will take off eventually anyway and doesn't mind waiting a few more months if he has to. Either way he doesn't care right now because he knows what will happen. Judging by the lack of shares being sold lately even though his are unlocked and the lack of pump PRs I'd say it's more likely they do have something they think is competitive, but who knows...
What I want to know is what exactly have they been doing for the past 2-3 months. The unit is not complete if they need new parts, they don't have a definitive arrangement for testing yet... If Robert believes in the product he can have parts overnighted and make a couple of calls to line up a lab. He stands to make a whole lot of money here. Why all the foot-dragging?? And if there are actual reasons for the delays or actual things they have been taking care of then why not update everyone on the website, or through a PR or something.
Agree it should not take this long for numbers but then again it did so far.
The chill might be a reason to delay but really if they get it sorted out in two weeks or a month or so then people will just buy the stock then anyway and the rise will just be a little slower but it will still be there. It's not like people will rush into this right now anyway, there have been way too many delays and broken promises. It will rise gradually. And if sorting it out takes longer, like many months, they should not wait that long anyway, they should just show their hand and whoever is interested can easily find a broker that will sell and buy this with no issues. I think they're just dragging their feet like they always do...
Crazy volume today...
Also, they said by the end of last months things will be moving fast, they said this month is the month when everything will happen, they said revenue by the end of 2012 no matter what and still nothing, no news, no updates, even though the unit was supposedly already finished at the last PR, almost 2 months ago... Anybody there WDRP? Get your a$$ in gear, otherwise you have no right to be upset at shareholders grilling you and attacking you.
I do hope this drops to .5c or so before the news hits... So yeah, sure the AMF has a lot of power and all of Canada and even the SEC does what they say. And even if nothing came of the "investigation" in over a year multiple convictions and shut-downs are probably right around the corner. And the lack of any evidence is because the information is kept secret. All in all WDRP is screwed, the AMF will tear it apart, couldn't agree more.
Oh, so there is a chance they may "actually build an efficient, viable water heater"... Else they would not be waiting and hoping and promising it will be done while not giving themselves any way out. The plot thickens...
Of course the SEC has the power to suspend a stock. At least I think so... It just doesn't happen out of the blue with no warning whatsoever, no investigation, nothing. I didn't say they don't have the power to do it, I said it won't happen "one morning" just out of nowhere. Statistically speaking it is far far more likely that a positive PR is released in the near future that the SEC shutting this down with no warning. Hence it being a good buy at .5c. The fact that the SEC has the power to shut down a stock is meaningless. It's like saying an earthquake has the power to flatten their office and kill them. Sure it's a risk and it could definitely happen but most investors are ok with taking that risk in a stock. Hope we're on the same page.
Lol, really, you "know" the SEC will soon suspend the stock? That's pretty major news, where did you get that from? Most investors here are very interested to hear more, I'm sure. Surely a statement like that has more facts behind it than just the fact that maybe 1% of stocks get shut down in general...
Honestly it's not immediately obvious to me how they will achieve an actual 20-30% energy efficiency, measured over continuous running, compared to existing units. Maybe a 20-30% reduction in overall bottom line cost to own, yes, coming from various areas. And that would be huge, it would make the products a hit. But as far as the actual physics goes it's hard to see how they can come up with significant improvements. Unless existing units are rated very generously, i.e. "cheating" on the quoted efficiency.
Even assuming efficiency while continuously running is no better than existing electric heaters, which it may not be, there are still reasons why this would sell.
It may be manufactured for a lower price and cost less to buy.
It may get government subsidies if seen as a green technology.
It may be just cool for greenies to own. Just like people now buy all the "eco" models of various cars even though it's well established it doesn't make financial sense.
It may have much lower maintenance and less calcium deposits, heating elements being dissolved or covered etc. meaning much longer life.
It will get up to the needed temperature much faster than heating through contact on a very small surface area.
It will have no wasted heat in a heated element once the water is switched off. For frequent on-off scenarios this may add up to a lot.
There may be some applications where this type of heating is much more desirable (faster and more uniform) than having a heating element.
It may be just cool for early adopters to own. I'm not into that stuff and still if presented with a traditional unit and a microwave one for same price and efficiency I would choose the microwave one.
And it may actually turn out to be a little more efficient in every day use...
I didn't get any :( but if it drops close to .5c again it's a steal...
Lol ok, i'm pretty sure nobody here genuinely thinks the SEC can suspend this "one morning". That's one chance I have no problem at all with taking. It is 99.99% sure that a positive PR will come, whether backed by actual facts or not, and we all know that.
I'm buying more... The way I look at it best case scenario they actually come through and I can get the money back x10, worst case scenario next fluff PR sell at 1c and still double my investment...
No, it is not, but it is the only thing that is actually proven fact out of all the negative things being thrown around. That and maybe the promises in the PRs not being met, although that one is a lot more subjective. All the other theories and opinions being presented as fact in all caps and with many exclamation marks many times a day around here have no proof behind them. Just as many of the overly positive opinions have no facts to support them.
Lol I love all the crazy ideas flying around, scam, destined for obscurity, no money for testing. I mean yeah, there's no good proof of a viable product as of right now but come on... It's a tiny part time operation with a pretty complex product. The fact it's taking forever isn't proof it's a scam or failure.
If you can predict "exactly" how stocks turn out, which to go long in and which to short, you must be crazy rich. Most guys like that don't spend a whole lot of time on online boards, too many toys to enjoy. As far as WDRP goes I really don't see what makes it an obvious scam. Delays aren't anything unusual, especially in penny stocks. And the AMF investigation hasn't mentioned anything very specific from the very start and has made no progress whatsoever. Anyway, like I said in my previous post, nobody really knows...
It's funny to me how one side claims this is a proven scam because they haven't released a product yet but at the same time claims the AMF investigation has pretty much proven the company guilty even though absolutely 0 progress has been made in a year. And there wasn't much there to start with. That investigation is just as successful as the WDRP product development, so far at least, just as much came out of both.
And the other side claims the company is on the up and up and will come through even though we have had absolutely no proof whatsoever of any product and most of their PRs have promised things that have simply not happened and there is very little debate about that.
The fact is right now this has really huge potential but also really huge risks. And nobody really knows how it will turn out. Nobody has even a tiny clue and those who claim otherwise are kidding themselves or have a really transparent agenda. On one hand it is very possible they will unveil the product and a manufacturer within a week. On the other hand it's possible nothing at all will ever come of it, ever. I think the scam option is very unlikely (maybe minor blemishes, typical penny stuff) but them not having what it takes to actually get this done is a very very real possibility. For now all we can do is wait, any opinions stated as fact in one direction or another aren't worth anything...
Thanks for the actual, useful DD. We need more of that around here.
Also, as the end of the month is getting closer hopefully we get some news soon.
Hopefully that means that around the end of the month we'll have some actual results and news, not that until then they won't do anything. I'm cautiously optimistic. Very cautiously...
Pretty decent volume today.
I sooo hope they don't drag this on with no news for another 3 months. Whatever's next should be the good part, just hope it doesn't take forever. And of course that it actually happens...
Considering the last PR had hardly any facts (as you point out every day) and considering it came ages and ages after much better things were promised (again, as you keep pointing out) I would say a 30% climb is pretty amazing. And we've seen similar or better jumps with almost every PR they put out even though they weren't that great. Everyone here knows that with proper verifiable information out, this thing will go way up, 10c easily, more with manufacturer, production etc.
Hasn't fallen in ages and anyway anyone with any minimal experience with pennies knows that what happens with the pps before the product is released is irrelevant. Even the tiniest fluffiest PR has made this jump considerably, imagine what verifiable numbers and contracts will do...
The fun is just about to start. Once the numbers are out, with the way this has been waiting to take off, watch out.
The cease trade is only for a tiny number of individuals, only in one province of Canada and it is routine, everyone on that big list was cease traded and not everyone will be found guilty of something. And again, no PROOF has been provided of anything. I would say most people here see a pretty good comparison between the product development and the investigation. Proof is shaky at best for both. And as for you claiming that every press release from the company is basically a lie, well, I don't know what to say to that...
Just like no PROOF (Caps makes everything better :) ) has been provided of any kind of wrongdoing by WDRP or even by Andrew... Going on forever with nothing to show. And if you say they WILL release the evidence at some point everyone here will say WDRP WILL release the product at some point. Hope you see the similarities.
There's a lot of electric and electronic stuff in there, not to mention the current measuring hardware. All of it needs to be hooked up and done well enough to withstand third party testing. Pretty sure a cord isn't what's holding him back...
WDRP and Design1st have the evidence of a working competitive market-changing product. They will release the proof very soon.
Lol so you admit there is a working product, since you have efficiency numbers. Quite a change of opinion there...
Instead of accusing others of not doing DD on a statement that you and you alone claim is true why not share your DD? This is what the board is for. Everyone here is reasonable, if the proof is there we will agree with it.
Lol omg really? So the guy whose only job is to TALK to people is FAR MORE than an IR guy?
