Kinda like banging you head against a brick wall, isn't it.
Juat can't make some people understand that "nothin' ain't worth nothin'"!
q8
Maybe not in the penny world. But I may want to hang on to my shares of GE, Honeywell, or Alcoa that pay me dividends.
Q8
Each one has it's unique serial number.
It doesn't matter how you break them up.
Computers are very good at keeping track of unique numbers.
q8
When initially issued, before the nakeds get their fingers in the pie, they are tangable and could be controlled like p.a. is saying.
q8
That would keep the crooks out. There exists a finite number of real shares a company issues. It would not be difficult for computers to asign and maintain a number for each share.
If a share it borrowed for a legitimate "short" (even though I don't agree with shorts), there would be an audit trail of every share.
Guess what? No such thing as a phantom shares or a naked short".
Put some of these crooks out of business!!!
q8
Absolutely, and if it's allowed to continue unchecked, the bottom will fall out some day, and we'll be standing around scratching our heads, asking "what the hell happened?".
q8
That's a bunch of B.S. There's nothing more than a NS would like to see than a company go down the tube so he doesn't have to cover.
q8
Doogrof,
Thank-you very much!!!
Great post!
Q8
I'm not stuck to the point that it hurts. By the way if you don't have any skin in this game, what are you doing here?
I don't care what you say, if someone sells something that doesn't exist... IT'S FRAUD. It doesn't matter if it's stock, real estate, or an automobile.
You are trying to justify it because you're involved. You already admitted that!
Q8
Which ever way you want to look at it. I come by mine honestly.
q8
waman1,
Good post and I agree wholeheartedly with your philosophy. We should all be trying to help each other out here. Personal attacks are counter productive. All are welcome to their opinions but should be stated tactfully as to not affend anyone.
I'm assuming everyone on this board has $$'s invested in FFGO and would like to make some money. Let's keep the faith. If we didn't have some faith in this company to start with, why do we have our hard earned money invested here?
Having said that, I REALLY, REALLY, hate weekends!!! I live for the market to open every Monday! :)
May you all have a profitable week!
q8investor
Y'all,
As expected it's been a ho-hum Friday here at FMNJ. Actually it's been a ho-hum week!
Hopefully we will have some positive news next week when Billy-Bob posts his end-of-the-month news letter.
In the meantime y'all have a nice weekend.
Looking forward to Monday with anticipation...
Q8
OF COURSE IT'S FRAUD!!!
At least short selling is legal, not that I agree with it. NSS os a totally different issue. Of course you make money at it. YOu didn't put any in the game to start with!
q8
I'm with you on NSS.
If I sold you property that I don't own, I would be committing fraud and be thrown in jail. No difference, NSS is selling shares of stock that you don't have.
"Go to jail, go directly to jail, do not pass go, do not collect $200."
q8
Is this a dead dog or what???
Volume was 1.5mil shares yesterday.
Anywone know what the status of this company is?

The zinc contract with the Japanese was in Jan. 2007:
"Franklin Mining, Bolivia SA Signs Zinc Contract
Posted on: Tuesday, 30 January 2007, 09:04 CST
Franklin Mining, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: FMNJ) is today announcing having entered into a contract for the sale of 50,000 tons of Zinc concentrate at 47% minimum to a consortium representing multiple entities in Japan. The consortium, headed by a former Bolivian Ambassador to Japan, is obtaining financing through the Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation for the purchase of the product.
Under terms of this contract, Franklin is permitted to consolidate ore concentrates from both its Cerro Rico and Pulacayo resources. Japanese refinery companies recovering the Zinc will also pay for the silver content of the concentrate.
Additional information on Franklin projects can be found at www.franklinmining.com.

Doesn't give much details about timeframes and delivery dates.
Have a profitable day!
q8
This is my first posting here although I've been watching for several days now since I bought in earlier this week.
I sure like the positive feel of the board, unlike many of the other boards where there seems to be a lot of negative opinions and squabbling going on.
Keep up the positive outlook and have a profitable day!
q8investor
Capital Oil & Gas, LTD is definitely on the up-and-up.
Google it and go to their web site. There's plenty to like there.
q8
humpback/informer,
It is possible that those additional 500m shares will be used to pay a convertable note. Where the lender accepts stock instead of cash. This could be good for the lender. If the pps goes up he could realize a greater return than if he had been repaid in cash.
I'm not going to get nervous about the additional 500m shares.
Hang in there for the long haul and make a bundle.
Have a profitable day.
q8
Let's see what happens. I could learn to love Tuesdays!!! :)
Have a profitable day!
q8
C'mon guys, we could play "what if" games all day.
"stuff" happens! He wasn't on board and this will probably make him very cautious in the future.
Of course, all you pessimists can sell now if you wish. Then you don't have to keep checking your blood pressure worrying about what could have been and what effect that would have had on FMNJ.
Think positive and have a profitable day!
q8
I'll go along with that.
Month's end should prove rewarding to all of us who hang in there for the duration.
Have a profitable day!
q8
Looking forward to pennyland.
I don't know when William gets back from TdF. I hope he took some warm clothes with him, this is their Winter down there.
Talk about "the ends of the earth"!
Anyway, I'm hoping for some positive news this week also, but no telling how long negotiations are going to take.
Wishing you and all a profitable day!
q8
Abdul and all.
A friend just e-mailed this to me. Check it out: http://www.americanbulls.com/StockPage.asp?CompanyTicker=FMNJ&MarketTicker=OTC&TYP=S
Wishing you all well in the coming week!

Braden,

LAS VEGAS- Incumbent President Correa repeated statements that "RESPOSIBLE MINING' will go ahead in Ecuador. He said that the purpose of the new mining mandate was to allow the government to get its house in order and new mining laws in place so that responsible mining can proceed.
The president invited all the mining companies, including Dhanoa Minerals, Ltd. , to meet with the ministry starting recently, April 28th, to help formulate the new mining laws. The government plans to have a final version of the law ready by late May, 2008, mines ministry officials stated.

Been over a week and we're the only two who have posted anything. I don't know how this stock stays above .01. There's got to be something going on with it. There has been no volume today at all.
IMO, we're dealing with a bunch of crooks who are stealing the company blind. Nobody knows what's going on down there.
Can't do much else than hang in and see what happens. I'd really like to be able to have some confidence in this company but it's been almost a year since there was any good PR.
Good luck.
q8
You're right about that! But not as hot as this stock's going to get! When Billy-Bob gets back from Argentina with the DEAL!!!
q8
Kudos everyone! You all seem to be keeping your wits about you and thinking positive.
I don't expect anything much different today, which as I stated previously, is to be expected while we're in a "holding Pattern".
IMO, Don't expect to average down below .0011, I don't think it'll happen. At least I hope not.
Next week maybe some good PR, but I wouldn't get too excited if it doesn't come then.
We have to understand that the GTL negotiations could go on for some time until all are satisfied that they are getting what they want. Ms. Rio(Rivers)probably has other things on her plate as well, like running the government of her province.
Having said that, it would be nice to get some news on the other projects that are going on:
o Escala
o The infrastructure that has to be put in place as a result of Franklin being Capital Oil & Gas representative in South America.
o West Texas oil fields
Patience all. Have a profitable day.
q8
You're not going to get the chance to buy more in the mid to low trips. Ain't gonna happen (I hope).
You're not holding the bag man, just be patient.
q8
The PR is coming probably next week.
This is the lull before the storm (I hope).
Better get it while it's this low.
q8
Yup, Hump, time for averaging down is gone, gone, gone... :)
q8
I wouldn't expect any Argentina GTL news this week. Lots of legal stuff that has to go on. William has had to hire Argentinian lawyer(s) to handle FMNJ interests. All parties will have to be satisfied that their investments and interests will be secure. Final negotiations and documents all have to be translated, etc. etc.
Hopefully, much of this took place before Billy got on the plane. :)
Have a profitable day all.
q8
Good morning Trueheart and all other fellow FMNJ investors. It's 7:27AM here and you guys are probably all still in dreamland. I am GMT+3 which means I am 7 hours ahead of EDST.
Trueheart...
Absolutely man!!! And if we don't believe that, we shouldn't be here.
For the life of me, I can't imagine why I would want to waste my time (and money) on a stock that I didn't believe in. Of all the investments that I have at the moment, I have more confidence in this one than in all the others. That's not to say I still don't believe in the others, it just that FMNJ is the ONE that I see that can really make some big money.
Yesterday was pretty ho-hum as expected since we're all in kind of a "holding pattern" pending Billy's return. The waiting is hell but we have to realize this is not something that was going to be accomplished in one day. There will be lawyers involved, everything has to transcribed and translated to both English and Spanish, etc., etc. So we need to be patient.
Having said that, I wish you all a very profitable day!
q8
sps,
Sorry man. I wrote that before seeing that you were calling their invester relations. At first it sounded like you may have been someone on the inside.
Quite the contrary, I appreciate the info. as I'm sure everyone else does.
Have a profitalble day!
q8
I hope you can make a cruise reservation for her birthday.
Good luck!
How would you know what HQ is doing? Best be careful, there's a problem with knowing too much about what's going on.
q8
As usual, someone who is thinking this thing through!!!
You rock, Dude.
Focus on those "much higher prices".
q8
imajen13,
I said it once before, but I'll say it again anyway, "I like your way of thinking"!!!
q8
To "the cork" and all....
FYI
Kuwaiti Investor Buys 15% Stake in Synfuels International; GTL Plant Coming Soon
Aref Energy Holding (51% owned by Kuwait government investment arm) just took a 15% stake in Dallas-based Synfuels International, Synfuels announced February 5.
Aref is a listed company in the Kuwait stock market with capital of $300 million. It’s a subsidiary of Aref Investment Group, with capital of $3 billion, Synfuels said.
The 15% stake means a $28.5 million cash infusion into Synfuels. The deal also includes an option to acquire another 10% of Synfuels stock, plus exclusive rights to market the Synfuels technology in the Middle East, as Synfuels president Thomas Rolfe told Gasification News in an interview.
According to Synfuels, “the deal includes plans to build the first commercial gas-to-liquids [GTL] plant based on the new technology, which converts natural gas to liquid petroleum products such as clean burning, affordable high-octane gasoline or other valuable and useful hydrocarbon products.”
Come right down to it, tzan, that's what it's all about. There's not one of us investing in FMNJ or any other company, that's not looking to turn a profit.
Picking the right time is a personal thing. We each have to set the goal and sell at the appropriate time. Sell and don't look back. No sense in kicking yourself if it continues to go up. Or if you've really loaded up, save some just in case...
Here's wishing Petty success this week!!!
