Brg, do you even feel bad about lying and making up a fake e-mail from Bruce Anderson? And you expect us to believe you when you claim to be a shareholder?
OT: This is a fabulous holiday, a mexican martini made with 1800 and Grand Marnier is simply THE perfect vacation beverage!
Lego
Thank you Voyeur! I suspected some of what was revealed at the SHM but of course conjecture and speculation has no place in investing. What I would like to say at this time would be directed at the crew of dedicated chicken littles scampering to and fro hereabouts crying "the sky is falling" for days now, and of course it would be heavy with sarcasm and disdain for both their antics and their attitudes....but as it has once again been proven beyond a shadow of a doubt that they are simpletons and their words are lies, I think I shall forego my remonstrations and simply bask in the glow of victory for a while as I am still on holiday!!
Best of luck to all and have a fantastic weekend! Lego
Jofotoz, since it has come to light that you have a conflict of interest with regards to your wife's dealings with, and your "many conversations" with the people at Coorstek, a direct competitor of Cetek, perhaps you would care to explain yourself and your long-alleged position in CTKH? This seems at the least EXTREMELY unethical to post under the guise of a disgruntled shareholder with the intent of discrediting this company.
Looking forward to your explanation of this matter, as i'm sure will ALL the people I am forwarding this info to today.
Lego
Oh please, 1994 is it now? Orangeman, when you talk about your favorite football team's chances with regards to the super bowl this year, do you talk about what they did in 1994? Does it matter what the Fed did in 1994 or what they did yesterday? Which has more of a bearing on what will happen today? You are beginning to sound ridiculous and desperate for this company to fail Orangeman, why would you purchase stock in this company and then spend all your time talking bad about them and being generally pessimistic about their future endeavors? And why do you continue to delete posts that show Cetek in a favorable light and make your position look bad?
Lego
me too.
No posts in three days? Is everyone on vacation?
Ahh! follow through is nice isn't it? 2.20 already today on heavier than normal volume, blasted right through the 50dema, the 200 is at around 2.40, that might be a little tougher.
Cheers! Lego
MrSparex, Thanks for the opportunity to assist you on this board, I will try to be of some value along the way, I believe by years end we may have our hands full as we proceed into stage III clinicals and the traders begin to discover what's happening here, just imagine the market potential, I believe I read that the market for Viagra, Cialis etc. is around 6 billion a year? And two thirds of men that could benefit from this kind of therapy can NOT use the current products due to it's mechanism which acts on the vascular system, soooo, another potential 12 billion or so for Bremelanotide which is so far proven to be completely safe for these men? And how many more billions for the some 40% of women who suffer some form of sexual dysfunction who currently have no product to turn to? Yes, this is an exciting product for sure, as I said before though, caution is advised as always, we are dealing with a biotech after all.
MrSparex, take a look at MCZ when you have a chance, the chart is very similar, it has taken a beating due to the rundown to the end of the current console's life cycles, and is in the doldrums still as we transition to the new models (PS-3, x-box 360 etc), I still believe they have a viable business model, if only for another few years, they dropped a licensing agreement last year that was costing them quite a bit of cash, and I believe are positioned somewhat better to do well as Christmas approaches and the new consoles spur the video game buyers again, they recently hit a pretty significant bottom and I am up comfortably from my buys in the low .30's. May be worth a poker bet, especially if they test the lows again, but of course ANY stock this cheap is risky, so caution is again advised, some more DD is needed I believe.
Cheers! Lego
Agreed. There does seem to be some signs of life in the chart, it's been a face only a mother could love for a while now, lol, and I did sell some when it broke through 1.90 as I was hoping that would be the floor, but I reloaded in the mid 1.70's as it became very evident that 1.70 was going to be stronger support. It of course is still possible that it could test 1.70 again and form a double-bottom, but obviously that's not going to break my heart as the subsequent bounce will be even harder! The MFI has notably taken off in the last three trading days so I feel fairly confident that a reversal is imminent, the 200 and 50 dema's are of course hovering above and in declining fashion, so caution is advised and the road ahead may be a bit bumpy for a while as it tests the ma's for a ceiling for a while, but this is not a bad deal for traders IMO, hold a core position and play the swings for a bit.
All this is of course JMHO, do your own DD always, and be absolutely religious with your protective sell-stops.
Cheers! Lego

Palatin Technologies and King Pharmaceuticals Report Results of a Clinical Study Evaluating Bremelanotide in Post-Menopausal Female Sexual Dysfunction Patients
Thursday August 3, 7:30 am ET
CRANBURY, N.J. and BRISTOL, Tenn., Aug. 3 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Palatin Technologies, Inc. (Amex: PTN - News) and King Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (NYSE: KG - News) announced today results of Part 2 of a Phase IIa pilot study evaluating the effects of bremelanotide in post-menopausal women diagnosed with female sexual arousal disorder (FSAD). Results showed that on a 14-item questionnaire, 73 percent of the women reported an increased level of genital arousal while on bremelanotide compared with 23 percent of women on placebo. Also, 46 percent of women on bremelanotide reported an increased level of sexual desire while only 19 percent of women responded similarly after placebo treatment. Additionally, subjects receiving bremelanotide reported a higher incidence of engaging in sexual activity compared to placebo. The current study follows a similarly designed clinical study conducted with pre-menopausal patients with FSAD, the results of which were recently published in the July 2006 issue of The Journal of Sexual Medicine.
"The results of this study in post-menopausal women corroborate the previous results reported in pre-menopausal women and supports the further advancement of bremelanotide for the treatment of FSAD," said Trevor Hallam, Ph.D., Executive Vice President, Research & Development of Palatin Technologies.
Twenty-six women with a diagnosis of FSAD were enrolled at two investigational sites in this double-blind, randomized, placebo-controlled, single dose, cross-over clinical study. All subjects enrolled in this clinical study were evaluated by an experienced clinical psychologist and were confirmed to have a diagnosis of FSAD. Subjects were administered a 20 mg dose (2 x 10 mg) of intranasal bremelanotide or placebo spray in a randomized manner and were monitored and evaluated for three hours post-dose before being discharged from the clinic. All subjects completed a Treatment Satisfaction Index questionnaire at 24-hours post-dose as a means of measuring their levels of sexual desire, genital arousal and, if applicable, satisfaction with sexual activity. Adverse events reported include nausea, headache and nasal congestion and were comparable to adverse events reported for other clinical studies evaluating this dose.
"The data strongly favor and support the companies' development program for bremelanotide," states Dr. Michael A. Perelman, Co-Director of the Human Sexuality Program at Weill Medical College of Cornell University, New York. "I enthusiastically await data from larger clinical trials which are underway."
Palatin Technologies and King Pharmaceuticals plan to more fully present information regarding the results of this study at a future conference. The companies are currently enrolling subjects in a 100 patient, Phase IIb at-home clinical trial in pre-menopausal FSAD patients at approximately 20 clinical sites throughout the United States.
Thank you MrSparex! Another PR today and more good news, PTN is still under the radar it seems, but the results speak for themselves, any idea when we will be moving to phase III clinicals?
Cheers! Lego
You lose...again.
Hello all, Palatin has been a favorite of mine for some time, I have traded some swings in the past and am currently holding a small core position and will continue to do so and add as the situation develops, I have done a fair amount of DD in this stock and in the potential market for Bremelanotide, just extraordinary! The potential is incredible to say the least, I look forward to the future and will endeavor when possible to contribute what I can to this board.
Cheers! Lego
Repeating my post from RB here:
Actually this is a good question, it was my understanding that the Cetek process produces ceramic that requires almost nothing in the way of machining or grinding. Now I don't subscribe to hearsay, so I will believe in the acquisition rumors when we have a PR to prove them, but just purely on a speculative basis, why would Cetek need a ceramic grinding or machining company? Can anyone shed some light on this subject?
TIA, Lego
I guess I missed the part where someone showed some type of proof that Sprout are the ones who are selling, so all of a sudden if one poster says that's what is happening, it makes it gospel?
Funny how quickly hearsay becomes truth in the minds and mouths of the paranoid.
Regards, Lego
Therein lies the truth of the matter Orangeman, but of course there are always those who believe everything they read or hear, sometimes they forget they are in a poker game...
Here are your words i speak of, very worth re-posting:
"Now l wonder how much did CTKH invest in WTP. You know there is a chance that Anderson said this to stop all the phone calls and E Mails. Because over the phone he is a nice polite person."
Forgive my doubting you Orangeman, you are one of the few who think outside the box.
Cheers! Lego
That was Brg, and yes, the rest of us were rather skeptical as well, especially considering the source.
Perhaps some do not really understand the ramifications, or the potential expressed in this statement:
"Anderson said Cetek made about 75 percent of the components, and not just the ceramics, for the models built to demonstrate the viability of the approach. "Beta" models are being marketed to potential users for testing."
So, Cetek has the capability to fabricate, and in other materials in addition to the core business which is of course ceramic. Now, it is a given that anyone with some proper equipment and the right skills can fabricate a variety of prototypes, but to manufacture them en masse requires something more in the way of infrastructure. Anyone who know has any knowledge of Cetek and FH knows that he does not simply wish to be a small supplier of components for various companies, he wants to be a manufacturer, this is the reason for the very synergistic acquisition of HTI, so, it would stand to reason that since Cetek made "75%" of the parts involved in the prototype, that they should naturally be the manufacturer of choice for the production models, all that would be needed to accomplish this would be another simple acquisition, and in point of fact, are there not already rumors circulating that such is imminent?
And one other point, the article mentions that the beta models are being circulated to potential buyers for testing, undoubtedly these are larger companies that have the wherewithal to purchase a large ticket item, and having such an amazing demonstration of Cetek's cutting edge capabilities in front of the eyes of potential purchasers with big pockets can't help but occasionally spark the notion in their minds: if Cetek can build this for Wilson, perhaps they can build our project for us?
Yes, I am indeed adding some shares at this dicounted price.
Cheers! Lego
Again I find myself agreeing with you Pennyworld <shudder>, .01 would be an extremely nice pop, but the subsequent shakeout would probably be very brutal. I can guarantee you I would be selling at least 90% of my position at that price. I think a pop to .003-.004 would be a more reasonable expectation, and very probable IMO. As End2war stated, I too would expect a PR about the SHM soon, perhaps there will be something else of substance revealed either in the PR, or at the meeting. As angry as so many seem to be I think it would behoove FH to have something to say worthwhile at the SHM...it's been some time since I visited Vegas, perhaps I will attend and see for myself.
Regards, Lego
I agree Pennyworld. eom.
Well spoken and thoughtful as per your usual practice End2war, and much of what you say echos my thinking in this matter. One discrepancy I think between myself and some of the longer-term shareholders here, is that I did not expect Cetek's revenues to be any more than what was revealed, in fact I was rather taken aback by the negative respeonse to the 15c, caught me a bit flat-footed as it were and this is why I missed the sell op. Personally I tended to discount the PR's of previous years as they contained no solid info, a profit could just be a dollar, and the double in profits for the next quarter would be two dollars, lol, after all, this is the OTC market we are dealing with, I was actually pleased that there are significant revenues already, and with an expanding infrastructure and R&D expenditures of several hundred thousand dollars in the last two years, this looks like a company on the move. It was a gutsy move for FH to put out that 15c, especially since he was under no obligation to do so, I look forward to whatever will come next!
Have a great day my friend! Lego
Pennyworld, I have never worried from the beginning, my position in this company is small as befits such a speculative venture, though I am busily trying to add a few more at the current discount rate. And believe me, I stand ready to trade, you will never hear of me holding a position at a loss for years at a time, that's just not good trading practice as all but the most neophyte of traders know.
Thanks for your concern! Lego
Moderator, is calling someone a "twit" now allowed on this board? If so, could you provide a list of such colorful euphemisms that are okay for general usage? Personally, my reading of the TOS seems to imply that this activity is not allowed, nor are personal attacks of the nature that this poster has seen fit to launch against me. I appeal to you to help retain a modicum of respectability and politeness upon this board.
Regards, Lego
You are both being ridiculous, and if I was to enlighten you on the matter I intended to speak to End2war about, you would feel like complete fools for spouting that paranoid nonsense, which seems like it might be a familiar feeling for the two of you.
If you were open-minded individuals and not dedicated bashers looking to pounce on ANY statement made by a REAL shareholder, you might have noted that I have NEVER pumped this stock, any more than I would pump ANY stock. According to the crew on this message board, apparently just the act of purchasing stock in this company makes you a "pumper" or a "tout". And I would again submit to all concerned, that it just seems a little bit strange how many "shareholders" here who have been "burned by FH" and are bagholding now for the last 50 years, seem so ecstatic when the stock downticks.
You are being ridiculous as usual, in your infantile over-dramatized world I suppose you are able to infer the deepest meaning into ANY commentary...I wasn't even referring to Cetek with my comment to End2war, you have been hanging out here and listening to Jofotoz and company making up imaginary skulduggery waaaaaaay too long.
And yet again another astute and timely post End2war, we must talk sometime outside this forum, I have some info I would share with you.
Cheers! Lego
Kudos for a great post End2war! Lego
Orangeman, you seem extremely elated at the currently dismal PPS for someone who claims to be a shareholder, in fact, it's funny how some of you seem to just literally dance in the aisles here when the stock takes a nosedive. Strange, I would think you would be upset if you were all losing money.
Oh and by the way, I noticed you deleted my post, but left the "STFU Lego" post by BRG stand, another demonstration of your wonderful sense of impartiality, I should expect to see that post disappear today or I will complain to Matt.
Regards, Lego
Yes, well, from what i've read having gone back over many many posts on here and on RB as well, it would seem like that would be possibly one of the best reasons to buy, or at least hold, given the man's track record, am i wrong?
Regards, Lego
Indeed? Then perhaps Moderator you would care to explain how a post describing one's vacation plans is "on-topic"?
Jo, I don't believe it is MY veneer that has cracked in this case. Someone's agenda is showing.
Regards, Lego
A fair question, but alas I am afraid that my explanation of my investment and trading strategies would take quite a bit more time than i have to devote here today, and would most likely fall upon deaf ears and/or be a bit too complicated given the limited scope of the target audience. Suffice it to say my friend, that I NEVER believe everything i hear from ANY source, and i would counsel the neophyte investor to do the same, in addition, 60% is never an acceptable loss under any circumstances. A truly experienced trader utilizes protective stop-losses, if only mental, in ALL cases, NO exceptions, and would never bag-hold a position for what, years now is it?
I am sorry for your loss sir, i wish you better luck in the future, but again i find that you refuse to answer my very fair question which is: given your negative outlook on this company, why do you continue to hold?
And as well, I am very curious as to what anyone hopes to accomplish by this incessant public castigation of both the company and it's management, could the rumors of a large NSS position be true? Why so much posting from just a very few individuals? And why are the denials(with no proof to back them up), so vehement from people who represent themselves to be long-time shareholders?
Just my opinion for what it's worth gentlemen, I personally am cheered as to the future prospects of trading in some of the more heavily and currently illegally manipulated OTC stocks after Chairman Cox's recent statements, perhaps a day of reckoning is indeed almost here, I would assume the SEC will hold true to form and pick one or two situations to make examples out of, and being as it would almost certainly cause too much of a financial backlash to utilize a larger, listed stock, it would seem that a small BB or pink sheet stock would be an excellent candidate, as the monetary value of such judgement would not be enough to bankrupt any instituition, only a few selected guilty parties.
Crazy idea? Impossible? Yes, well, Martha Stewart thought the same thing several million dollars ago...
Cheers! Lego
I see, thank you, that tells me everything I need to know about you sir.
Best of luck, Lego
Small machine shop? Operation like Wilson Turbo power? My good man, certainly i did not mean to imply that you need my permission to do anything, it was just a simple question, no need to get upset.
And as to "machine shop", wasn't it Bruce Anderson, CEO of Wilson who called the "machine shop" "extraordinary"?
My apologies sir, but I would have to at this point reiterate my very valid question as a shareholder and a poster on this board: why would you buy stock (if you have) in what you have described as a "machine shop"? And why do you not sell given your pessimistic view of the future outlook?
Respectfully, Lego
Robotlol, if you don't mind, i'd like to ask a question of you. I noticed the other day that you posted that you were "trying to sell and forget this stock ever existed", two questions: were you successful in selling? And further, if you have sold, does forgetting a stock ever existed include refraining from posting negative commentary on message boards?
Thanks for your time, Lego
Isn't that a bit pessimistic? I mean really, you are a shareholder correct? Have you considered exiting your position? I certainly would if I personally had as dim of a view of Cetek as you and several others here seem to have. Just wondering...perhaps you could give some hard facts to support your negative view? And why any of us (including yourself) should continue to hold this stock in light of your concerns?
TIA, Lego
jofotoz, i think you'll find that...
350 million + 350 million = 700 million
not 750 million
I believe most computers have a calculator function, you should be able to find it with a modest amount of effort.
regards, Lego
RickApple...
All the information I have indicates that you are correct, and as well, i agree that the agenda of some here has become very transparent, and a sense of desperation is revealed in their re-doubled efforts...NSS is real as all know now, anyone who says or HAS SAID different in the past, is now revealed as either being clueless, or a liar one, the vehemence of individual responses when this subject is broached gives a clear picture of whether the individual in question is guilty of the former, more benign affliction...or the latter, somewhat more malignant one.
Regards, Lego
Well said Gary, my thoughts exactly. The general overall sour tone of this posters rhetoric would in any case have given away his agenda and rendered his "opinions" impotent to all but the most inexperienced investor.
I do feel however given the rudimentary nature of the form 15c2-11 that somewhat of a better effort could have been made to at least fill in the blanks with something of substance, so that perhaps the entire thing didn't give such an "offhand" feel...the figures seem a bit arbitrary at best, apparently much more is going on than meets the eye. If nothing else, a contrarian view suggests that based on empirical data, silence is golden, while a wealth of PR's usually mean that the stock printing press is running 24/7. Just IMO of course.
Regards, Lego
I would submit that ANY equity position could be considered a roll of the dice. What facts do you have to support your claim of "minimum wage" for the employees of Cetek? You certainly seem to have a negative opinion of the company, may i ask if you are a shareholder?
Regards, Lego
Excellent news!! Exactly what we have been waiting for! So where are the naysayers today? Covering their positions soon I suspect? LOL! Congratulations are in order for all true longs, myself included!
Enjoy! Lego
