Same here Dude. Not only holding but averaging down.
Lots of $2.55-2.75’s.
As a result, I’m overloaded with shares.
Normally, I wouldn’t go down this route but I believe in this company.
Many eggs in this basket.
Content to wait until it bears fruit.
Easy fella..try having some compassion for your fellow man.
Vham lost his entire retirement savings in this stock to this point.
I think he’s fine to vent some frustrations.
Hopefully they’re waiting for the just the right time for the next huge announcement: SIX Minute Abs!!
Brought to you by seven minute abs.
Well the Monolith dropped by yesterday and threw out $0.70.
He’s been consistent over a long period of time and his twitter is usually solid as well.
Nobody bats 1.000% but around $0.70 is where I’d set a buy.
Personally, I’d wait and wait some more. Would rather make 100% sure the bottom was in before buying. Each day brings new lows.
No end in sight yet.
100% concur with this assessment. One of the most honest takes you’ll find on this board.
I hope they do the things you’ve suggested, show some teeth, and come out the other side.
Marketing and direct to consumer are the two things they can immediately control. FDA is out of everyone’s hands.
Other companies are ahead at the moment.
Just because they make real, physically tangible, good tasting products doesn’t mean the company isn’t a scam.
These companies operate on the pinks for a reason. Not having to disclose all financials...I mean come on. Of course there’s a shitload of scams out here no matter how legit they seem.
So, they make/sell products and have a nice distribution network set up in a popular, hyped new sector. In a sense, sure, the business exists and operates. However, the ultimate goals of the higher ups is to use that as slight of hand to get rich off of unsuspecting investors who only see the drinks.
Not claiming this to be true here but it’s absolutely something everyone should consider.
Take your profits when you can and you’ll never go broke. The pinks are shark infested waters.
Currently no position but have been in and out twice earlier this year.
Well the Australia facility officially come in line tomorrow I believe.
Would be nice to see a good PR put out about it not just a tweet.
I though Phil was already sponsored by a CBD co? Maybe I’m wrong.
I think that CBDMD has been racking up athlete endorsements from major league sports to mma fighters.
And I agree that marketing and consumer tracking analytics will be a huge factor moving forward and necessary for survival in the face of headwinds and competition.
The walk back of the timeline is seriously depressing.
They ruined what was a burgeoning sector.
Lol seven minute abs lol.
Every time I read that I laugh...it’s so fitting at the moment.
But seriously there’s nothing wrong with telling the truth. I’ve got another investment that’s disappointed the second half of this year. I post on that board and most everyone agrees they need to get certain things under control.
If my favorite sports team is terrible I’m gonna say they’re terrible. It’s not like me saying they’re terrible is gonna change anything.
Same thing here. Terrible year. Terrible investment this year. Many things to improve.
Dropping the ball on pet products. People wouldn’t even respond to your posts questioning the absence of the pet line (a legit concern). I did not get it.
But hey- seven minute abs lol
The new raise will be partially used for new research and development.
When I say adapt I’m speaking of the ability to adapt to other cannabinoids based on future market demads.
They have their own genetics. They are already extracting other cannabinoids to possibly create new products for the future.
They are anticipating the changes that will eventually happen. The companies not prepared will fail and the ones who are already working on it will flourish.
Dang that absolutely sucks. I’m sure that’s just one of my similar stories.
Large retailers getting burned by authorities is one of the most negative things I can imagine for the space right now. While gas stations and pop up sharps operate with impunity it seems.
I agree with everything you’ve said, too.
If you and I already know how to start a CBD business if we wanted to just imagine how many people are actually following through.
They really need to get regs in place.
Perhaps all the lure plays can make a large comeback if that happens.
Well. I bought shares of CVSI and CWBHF on the same week in December 2019.
I don’t care if you believe me or not but go way back in time and you’ll see when I showed up here. My initial outlook was great until the thesis changed. I said many positive things about this company when I originally invested.
Q3 and Q4 guidance changed everything for me. The original reasons I invested here are gone.
We have fallen so far it’s not worth selling right now. As soon as it gets back to my entry (if it’s even possible) I am out.
And yes I talk negatively about this company now. They’ve fumbled the ball. There are flags for new investors. They’re moving backwards in a growth industry. Doesn’t change the fact that I own shares.
I don’t understand people that refuse to hold the people in charge accountable. Nothing I say here or on SA is going to change anything for ANY company.
So, what’s wrong with just telling it how it is? Reality is reality. This has been an awful investment this year and it’s okay to admit it.
Positive posts aren’t going to change the downward spiral we are in.
You got me all wrong and you love to make assumptions. I’m not pissed about anything.
I knew what I was getting into when I decided to jump in the cannabis space. If I didn’t have an appetite for risk I wouldn’t be here. I’m patient when it’s warranted. However, not many companies I want to hold indefinitely at the moment in cannabis.
Finally, I’ve been fortunate in life so far and I only have about 12-15% of my savings tied up in cannabis.
Most of my money is spread around in ‘safer’ places. I have been prudent to diversify my funds.
My cannabis portfolio is essentially a lottery ticket for me that I get to manage on a daily basis.
If it all disappeared today I’d still retire early.
Don’t get me twisted son. I don’t get beholden to things in this life other than my family.
Feeling just fine here little fella.
Not sure about those shows. Must be a boomer thing?
Don’t have a large bag to hold here like most. I have one just like everyone else but it’s a really small one.
And I agree on the entertainment factor here!
It’s humurous to visit the magical world of unicorns, rainbows, and sunshine pumping when in reality the company is essentially burning to the ground.
I’m just waiting to see if the other Mona will get paid millions for leaving as well.
Well I’m not suggesting anything that’s said in this board will move sp. I think you missed my point.
The point is Clay Trader posts charts all over the place. When he shows up the tickers always tank.
Some believe him to be a shorter with a large audience. That would actually make sense to me since I’ve witnessed this action numerous times.
Do some digging, check him out and see the pattern that’s emerged.
You can be L & S all you want but when CT shows up just know your sp will likely tank.
GEEZ.
Reading comprehension is a lost art I guess.
Everything is always great in unicorn land BC. You know how it works- all sunshine and rainbows all the time.
Nah. Clay Trader came around a month or two ago. The day he showed I tried to warn folks it was a very bad sign.
Upon request, I provided some color on one particular experience I had with CT and the pattern is always the same with him.
Of course, some here blew it off as they do most warnings.
He is akin to the Grim Reaper showing up.
Every stock I’ve ever had money in tanks when he starts posting his charts.
His work is done here. Once again he shows up and the ticker goes to shit.
Great points. The FB did prove a short term catalyst for both companies but over time it has allowed anyone and everyone to jump in the fray..eventually hurting both companies.
Just all around unfortunate what the FDA has done to the space. It’s pure chaos.
And yes- Alibaba can pretty much replicate or produce any labels you could imagine. I know of a person who purchases thousands of ‘Smart Cart’ vape cartridges and fills them with his own distillate. They look identical to the real ones.
Sign me up for some industrial hemp pellets with a side of Hexane!!
Gotta be better than the hand tended, masterfully bred CBD rich flowers grown by CWBHF. Plants specifically grown for their cannabinoid profile to create a true wellness product.
But hey- it’s got that whole ‘self affirmed gras’ thing..which is useless. Ya know kinda like Trump self affirming he’s a ‘stable genius’.
Pre farm bill numbers for Q3. If that won’t change the thesis for an investor then nothing will.
Trying to speak rationally to a few people who held from pennies to $6+ back to pennies is useless.
Whoa now! Didn’t you know- everything is great here and management is the best in the industry. The sp being flushed down the toilet is a true gift for longs.
It’s really a Christmas miracle, chilling!!
Santa does exist! And he brought huge bags for each and every single CVSI shareholder for being so good all year.
Happy holidays as people watch retirement accounts evaporate while a fraudster was paid $5 million to leave and the payment to the younger Mona hasn’t even come up yet.
How much will we pay him to walk away?
Superbly run indeed. Best in the business. In Dowling we trust!!
Choppy.
Agree. I’ll be hoping and praying for $3.00 to be released from this bowl circler.
Lengthy post warning. I’m sure most wont like it but both there are two sides to every coin.
The answer to your question is wrapped up in the response to chilling post.
Take a look at those top execs and compare them to the resumes of CW top execs.
Major CPG talent leading CW in a competitive marketplace and a lack of CPG for CVSI.
Do you honestly think Dowling has the same connections to mass retail as D. Eisner? No. Go down the line and you’ll see execs formerly from Coke and Bacardi among others.
CW was smart enough to realize Hess Moallem (former CEO) had taken them as far as he could and they made a change. They could’ve kept him as he did a fine job. However, that’s not what top companies do when trying to reach an apex.
Also, the passé attitude about the value of CW owning patented genetics only furthers the disconnect as to why it warrants a premium and seems the stronger stock. I think some fail to truly understand cannabis and why some things are more important than others. Many here disregard CW’s IP and it’s imprortance.
Success in cannabis has always (and will always) come down to genetics. Cannabis is new to mainstream, however, a multi billion dollar cannabis marketplace has been established for decades. Genetics are the most valuable part of any major cannabis business. The general public has trouble realizing the ‘why’. The whole ‘hemp is hemp’ ‘cbd is cbd’ ‘weed is weed’ crowd couldn’t be more off base.
I own shares of both (but admittedly much more CW) and for me the bottom line is this:
CVSI is a CBD company and will live and die with the CBD subsector.
CWBHF is a true wellness company with a broader long term focus (way beyond CBD).
CBD is just the tip of the iceberg. CW, owning its own genetics and able to masterfully grow whatever type of cannabis it chooses, will always be able to serve the marketplace and its changing demands over time.
If CBD demand slows or the market moves to the next cannabinoid CVSI (and many others) is likely done. CW is already working on extraction of other cannabinoids and playing around with different formulations. That’s being on the cutting edge imo. They have all the tools they need to succeed long term and it comes back to genetics. Not just the CW strain but the overall mastery of cannabis genetics. They can literally pivot to anything the future brings.
Sorry for the length.
I don’t get why they keep chasing it as continued rejections point to this never happening.
If this had even a slim chance of coming to fruition then you’d have institutions lining up for shares. However, that’s not happening.
The last rejection sealed the deal on the gum fantasy for CVSI and most people got out.
At some point a spade is a spade no matter how much love you have for it.
Nobody wants to buy CVSI shares with the exception of some people here and some algorithm buys for hedge funds to keep action going.
Can you imagine how low the volume would be here without algos?
All sellers..no buyers = new 52 week lows every other week. That’s whats happening here.
I don’t get the chewing gum rabbit hole they’re chasing.
There are a zillion stop smoking/quit dipping aids currently. They’ve got gum, lozenges, pouches for dippers, etc already on the market. Market share will be an enormous battle and CVSI MS is already dwindling.
So people will buy pluscbd for daily use and also buy pluscbd nicotine gum (which will, without a doubt, be more expensive)?
Maybe I just don’t get the angle. Are they banking on millions of people switching because there’s a dash of cbd in the gum? Seems a stretch imo.
Personally, I think the pharma division is a bit of a joke thus far.
Perhaps to tickle the fancy of retail investors.
Yea...if it were easy we’d all make a fortune!
It’s hard out here for retail having to compete with billionaires and algorithms to make some coin.
I think most in the cannabis space feel your frustration.
I’ve learned to take my profits and wait for the fall in this sector. I have long shares in a select few companies but have begun letting some go at the top and buying back in later. Seems to have safeguarded my portfolio to a degree with the downturn.
GL
Some people just move the goalposts when they lose.
I’m assuming real life lost fortunes exacerbate the problem.
SUB $1.00. Seems like today is the day.
CVSI officially circling the bowl.
I’ve learned my lesson this year in this space.
Take the profits.
Only long on the lowest of lows and even then not afraid to take some off.
They always come back it seems.
Nah I’m not disagreeing with you Jim. It was sort of a tongue in cheek comment since new lows have been seen elsewhere on a regular basis...and it’s somehow played as a good thing.
I think my sarcasm was lost in translation
I think you’re on the wrong board lol
Hope not! The Australia facility is opening Friday. I’ve seen it on twitter but no formal PR that I know of...hoping that can be our near term catalyst.
In the meantime I snagged another 500 share @ $2.65
Considering some profit taking on TCNNF is we stay at this level. Those 11M shares unlocking soon have me thinking my 65%+ is a good level to take some
Well I haven’t seen any. If you're referring to guidance that wasn’t her..it was Hess that gave that. And it wasn’t a lie it was revenue guidance based on thinking FDA wouldn’t bend us all over.
Plus, referring to future guidance as a ‘lie’ is sorta silly- if that’s what you’re referring to.
I know I can be combative. We can’t always all get along. I wish nobody ill will but I do disagree with some of the logic here.
But whatever. Good luck to you. Hopefully this bounces to previous levels again.
Nothing personal at all.
What lies? Do tell.
Hey wolf..yea I know it’s a stretch and I know it’s not true. However the voracious defense of some things/facts that are indefensible make one wonder about peoples different versions of reality.
Hope you had a good turkey day Wolf.
We can all have our differences but I the end we are all human beings and I’d like everyone’s investments to flourish. Take er easy Wolfman
Ya know perhaps your right. But maybe you’re wrong too. Nobody absolutely knows right now.
However, the massive bull runs on that ticker provided ample opportunity for investors to make hay while the sun was up.
After profit taking and some repositioning I have plenty of room to breathe.
How many can say that here?
Just facts.
I actually took gains and started buying CNC in late September/early October. Take a look and tell me how I did. . Not everyone is interested in buying and holding for eternity. There are other ways to play the market.
Emotional attachment does one no good in a financial market imo.
Here to make money not choose sides and cheerlead. If CW starts making blunders and the ticker starts to behave like this one I will majorly reassess my remaining position.
Word for the day: objectivity
Suggesting CW ‘gave’ him something is soo CVSI ultra long logic lol. Some of you just refuse to see the truth. And when your presented evidence to the contrary you simply move the goalposts.
One reason CW is more respected in the industry is because of its backstory.
Dr. Gupta telling CW backstory (the original telling was years ago on CNN- I suggest CV folks actually give it a watch) was a big part of CBD becoming mainstream.
Every CBD co in the world should be grateful for that piece on CW.
Just seems like lots of jealousy here.
The magnitude of the CW story is something many here refuse to acknowledge. It’s one of the reasons it holds its premium sp and has institutional backing. You can’t buy the heartwarming, true story of Charlotte
With any amount of money. The development is priceless.
Ironically, the brothers were just trying to help a little girl out of kindness. They perfected and refined the formula and saved her life. It snowballed into the company you see today.
Compare that to a company importing industrial hemp form Europe with a backstory of fraud and BOOM- you should be able to understand why the market gives a premium to CW.
But alas...I fear I’m expecting too much
And look at those huge runs to take massive profits and rinse/repeat.
The other ticker has been a slow bleeder. Not a run to be played hardly.
Seems like a typical otc scam stock. Ya know, penny to parabolic then bleed retailers.
Bulls and bears going at it yesterday and today it seems.
It’s absolutely head scratching. I’m not shocked at the fall bc the sector has been bleeding for months. It’s the rate of the fall here. It seems way faster with no end in sight.
Every time I think we’ve bottomed the next few days another 10-20% evaporates.
It’s effing ridiculous.
The CWBHF float is really tight so it’s not some sort of killer dilutive event. My bigger point, though, is they just sold 5 million units for $9.98USD.
So, to me, that sort of sets the compass as to what bigger institutions are feeling right now and the sp seems to be settling just shy of that now.
Same action happened when the founders cashed some out. Price settled right below the bought price before making another run. I’m thinking/hoping history will repeat itself there.
The FDA has really disrupted what we all thought would be a banner year. It started that way then the powers that be decided to put the brakes on this sons a bitches.
