(Sigh.) Another week gone by (including Sept. 17)...isn't it time for management to give us an update?
Yes, Doc Logic. Imagine this page one headline in The Wall Street Journal:
Short-selling lawsuit reveals
blockade to transformative
brain cancer drug
From today's Wall Street Journal:
One way or another, (Merck's) Keytruda is likely to face pressure later this decade. That means Merck has to continue to do everything it can to reduce its reliance on the blockbuster product.
Thank you. Someone needs to tell the magistrate that vacation time has expired.
Can someone provide an update on the status of the legal case involving stock price manipulation please?
And Merck's down 2 percent on a day the overall market is up more than 1 percent.
I think we'll see close to $5 per share yet this year and as much as $20 by this time next year.
Clear indication decision is less than six weeks away.
Of course, they are. It's not a negative. It's part of the process, no different than state regulators occasionally checking gas pumps to make sure they're delivering the amount indicated or any other regulatory check to protect consumers and public health and safety. It's a positive because it's a step forward.
British approval of a treatment for brain cancer will result in considerable political pressure in the U.S. for availability without travel.
To whomever sold me their NWBO shares at less than 40 cents this morning, thank you very much. I feel like I'm at a garage sale and discovered a Van Gogh original.
At the beginning Linda foreshadowed some "exciting news." Guess the audio dropped out when she delivered it.
Come on, Linda. Give us a crumb.
So we're in the 60-day "clock stop?"
How embarrassing...an open mic during an unscheduled full stop?
Yes, having acquired a couple Phase 2 trials is fine...but long-standing shareholders are hoping to hear some payoff is closer...holding our breath as she moves into the "future" part of her under-prepared comments.
Or on Saturday.
And I hope that, unlike at the most recent annual meeting, Linda is prepared and able to present a positive view of recent developments and avoid delivering an unfocused message.
I'm reserving judgment...waiting another two weeks or so for pre-ASM news.
Great idea.
Add to your concerns today's WS Journal report on how much bogus research is winding up in scientific journals. I just hope NWBO has the public relations gun cocked and ready to go once there's significant favorable news. Without mainstream media attention, the price will run up but a lot of longs will sell at a minimum profit and, without continued upward pressure, the shorts will be happy to take the price down again. At this point, NWBO should have engaged one or more top mainstream writers (both print and broadcast) on an exclusive basis, letting them know the significance of this new product once regulators have given it a green light. Then the rest of the media will follow along. Please, NWBO: Tell us it's so.
Dave Innes tells me NWBO is "in the process of finalizing a date" for an annual shareholders meeting.
We're past the time Linda needs to provide shareholders an update.

Actually, at this moment, it's probably a very hopeful indication.
She looks a lot like Kate Middleton.
Hope you saw the article in the science section of today's NY Times...
=====================================================
How about an annual meeting?
Happy new year, everyone. I have every confidence the new year will be a great one for NWBO, for many cancer patients and for NWBO investors. (BTW I said this in 2022, 2021, 2020 and 2019. Sigh.) Nonetheless, I purchased more shares today at 68 cents. As one of our most esteemed board folks says, "Best wishes."
I agree the communication lacks top-tier professionalism, reads like it was quilted together as the result of a last-minute decision to say something. I nevertheless am grateful for the update. Today's price drop is, I believe, a buying opportunity. Two months from now the price, I predict, will be substantially higher.
Sorry, exwannabe. Your credibility has sunk further into the subaqueous red.
Short-term thinkers moved price down this morning...I think we'll end day at $1+.
About to return to green, methinks.
Outstanding post...and why it has dozens of "likes."
Highly unlikely, Learningcurve. A person with her credentials and busy calendar would not sign up to defend a hopeless cause. This news is another sign things are trending NWBO's way.
Same here, except my trading goes back to the mid-70s.
I believe there's a very good chance you're correct on all predictions. If so, the world will be shouting winning hosannas and localized shape-shifters will sit down or move on to another rat burrow.
The calendar says the time of speculation is nearing an end. Very soon we long-term longs will know whether our capital venture will be lost, provide a modest return or offer an extraordinary payoff for our patience. I've owned a substantial number of shares for a long time and that number has only increased over the years. I bought more just this week at 47 cents. Frankly, it would be painful but not disastrous for me if NWBO were a total bust. If it instead were a grand slam with valuations that have been dreamt about here ($25? $30? $40?), it would provide me generational wealth and opportunities to assist some worthy causes. But I'm most hopeful the science spectacularly revolutionizes standard cancer treatment. I was in my late 60s when I first bought NWBO, am approaching my 77th birthday now, conquered cancer once at age 61 and have been dealing with it again, starting at age 65. I'm grateful my cancer has not found its way to my brain. I hope and pray that when NWBO has news to share, it will be worthy of coverage on the front pages of the world's newspapers and banner coverage on cable news outlets. I feel confident the final pieces of the puzzle are about to be locked into place and we'll be able to see the big picture. I hope it's beautiful.
Thank you. Excellent work.
