It won't work for S&L board game cafes. You know why? Because S&L has nothing new or unique to offer that generates excitement in any community.

They don't have exclusive rights to any nrw board that is being premaired or introduced solely by them.

AND the TEMPORARY nature of a pop up concept Has virtually NO WAY to develop a relationship with locals or even a sense of developing a Board game community.

How did you find out about the change of dates to being closed indefinitely "for repairs"?

Susan's "justification" of abruptly firing employees without notice never made much sense; especially hearing the ex-employees stories on what transpired after the "acquisition". And, being able to secure contractors for the renovations - and complete w/i 2-3 weeks, hire and train new staff by the 3/16/24 "reopening day" was totally unrealistic; since FUNN management has proven time and again - that they simply cannot execute anything in a timely manner.

Do you think the new staff can install the cappuccino machine and bring the kitchen and lights to code? LOL :)

Hopefully, you can visit the site every couple of weeks to give us an update on that location?

getting rid of a money losing pit is a good thing....

Maybe ChiTown is next? That kind of a site belongs at a place like DisneyWorld where they have 50,000 guests a day.

BenDodger should be focused on bringing the "strongest" performing sites and getting rid of the biggest money losing sites where they already know will NEVER be positive net profitable.

They should close down at least 1 of the 3 cafes in Toronto down - and "drive" the customers to the two other locations - to have greater demand than supply.

Being able to duplicate positive net profitability is the step towards franchising.

FUNN has very limited choices at this point, with the inability to raise cash via private warrants, inability to get loans due to bad credit...or issuing a billion common shares which will result in dilution of current pps.
