By my calculations, it took $30,000 to bring this stock to its knees at 0.06 and another $30,000 to stabilize it on a 25% bounce back up to 0.075. This is NOT an investment. It is the worst kind of penny stock imaginable - one without a following and/or liquidity. Most shareholders own less than 50,000 shares and are sitting on 80%+ losses and only have a risk of $3,500 or less left. A reverse split is sometimes followed by a final dilution and the market's initial reaction to 0.06 this morning was the correct reaction. GLTA
HIPP is almost guaranteed to go to zero - between the accumulated deficit, the 31MM share selling pressure, the almost certain additional dilution and the lack of any meaningful buyers, this company will not be trading for much longer. I'm glad I sold my 95m shares for a small loss at 15 cents per share. GLTA
One of the ugliest charts I've ever seen - Hipcricket's chart shows the repeated failure of the company to meet or exceed expectations of shareholders. It's hard to not take it personally when you've given so much optimism and energy to a company that can't deliver any good news for months and months on end. Press releases that have nothing to do with cash flow, revenues or earnings is borderline insulting. GLTA
Bob, I want to ask you a question and I want you to answer it honestly. If someone gave you $18,000 to invest today, would you buy 150,000 shares of HIPP at 0.12? I think you can double your money over the next year in less stressful, more dignified ways than to follow this damaged and illiquid investment. JMHO Good luck!
Amigo Mike, I set the low at .123 - which is where I decided to sell my remaining shares and have the peace of mind that I know how much money I still have left - my biggest fear with this company is that they stop trading and I lose the rest of my money. I've been discouraged by the complete lack of caring for the shareholder by the PR firm and by management. I had to tell the PR firm that the IP ruling was out. They're as clueless as management. Of course, I hope this stock goes to zero now that I'm out! GLTA
Amigo Mike, where is the low on HIPP? Does management announce final earnings numbers soon enough to keep this pos from going much lower? Do they say anything new or positive enough on a cc to bounce this thing? Thanks.
The stock is trading as if it's going out of business and management is about to release the official earnings report followed by a cc. Some low prints in the 14, 15 and 16 areas are probably going to be followed by a bounce into the 17, 18 and 19 areas imho. GLTA
A bounce from 15-1/2 to 19 is probable and could occur if there is anything positive and substantial revealed in the cc coming up in the next few days re earnings. Who knows, maybe there is still some value to this company that would help it to hold a valuation of 1x sales. GLTA
Yahoo, Google or Facebook could pay 90m for HIPP and make us all happier campers - who knows, there's a lot of M&A taking place among these 3 companies for smaller mobile players like HIPP. GLTA
Now own 80,000 shares at .185 and still believe that this stock will ultimately trade for more than one times sales. Leaving another 10,000 shares alone that cost me .235 - Do feel like I could've done better by buying SWKS, MU, etc, etc, - Surprised we didn't flush out more weak hands today - the volume seemed kind of low considering the fanfare behind this patent ruling. Oh, well - next week we get to do this game all over again! GLTA
Live by the sword, die by the sword; HIPP was always a speculative, story stock - we all knew the risk/reward was much higher than listed stocks; it's hard to accept that you've made a mistake when you see tons of other investments march merrily higher while you agonize over whether or not an .18 bid is going to hold up or not. I'm ready to sell as soon as I can. I'm giving up. GLTA
New trading range looks like 16 - 19.5; disgusting - this stock is not only illiquid but feels like a dull falling knife. This pos just keeps sliding without anyone caring - I feel like I'm one of six active shareholders - maybe everyone else is so under water they've just written this thing off - fed up - GLTA
No insider buying makes me angry; why isn't anyone willing to put up $20,000 or $50,000 to buy 100m or 250m shares?? Why do I feel like the only people who are suffering are the shareholders? Why don't any of the employees have any skin in the game. Instead, I get the impression that we have a bunch of overpaid executives and employees that could care less if this company excelled. I'm getting very tired of thinking about owning shares in HIPP - GLTA
TZA has great risk/reward right now - the situation in Iraq will not be resolved anytime soon and the market does not like uncertainty. Additionally, the percentage gain from 15 to 18 of 20% would require a 7% move down in the IWM, putting it back to breakdown/support levels. GLTA
Amigo Mike, I don't like the price action; what do you think is going on beside a lack of news, lack of growth, overcompensated management, lack of transparency and fear of dilution?
Bought another 25m shares at 18.5 - looking for a nice bounce over the next few weeks - hope I didn't throw good money after bad $
HIPP is one of the most illiquid stocks ever; couldn't get any trades off today w/o the MM undercutting/frontrunning/pulling bids/asks - very frustrating - especially when the entire day doesn't even exceed 150m shares. GLTA
Wilson has 2MM shares exercisable at 22 cents per Form 4 filed last night - effective date is 5/30/14, good for 10 years. Any comment Amigo Mike or anyone else?
Added another 50m shares at .2025 - hope to see higher prices in the next few weeks - catalysts could be patent appeal, naming of an outside CEO, new coverage, etc. GLTA
Thought there would be more volume after today's PR, but I guess nothing new was revealed. Nice to see the quarterly numbers reported so quickly after the quarter. Looking forward to continued better communication with shareholders. This stock would be trading twice as high if shareholders had been treated with more honesty and transparency. Still feel it's a bargain at 1x sales.
Buy at 18-19 and sell at 22-24 until proven otherwise. This is a frustrating stock if you don't trade for 10-20% gains. I do hold shares in a taxable account and hope one day I'll wake up to a massive gain because of a partnership or buyout. GLTA
What if HIPP goes up to 0.50? How many shares would you buy in the low 20's?? What if they report great earnings and then partner up with someone and the stock goes even higher. I am accumulating my biggest position yet in the high teens and low 20's. GLTA
What if we've finally seen the bottom? Weak hands being replaced by stronger money. Let's see if we can follow through and get rid of all sellers in the 20's. Would like to see some more higher volume days. GLTA
One of these days, IWM will rollover and play dead!
Nice bounce back to the 0.24 breakdown level! Maybe there's some hope yet that this stock can make some of us some money. What if they don't dilute but team up with a strategic partner? What if they show sequential growth? Maybe we're sitting on a 50 cent stock later this summer. GLTA
Jim Cramer not so enthusiastic tonight on GTAT - said it was a technology play and not to expect too much too soon - just bought the June 15 puts for 0.55 - hope the stock goes back into the 14's next week so I can profit on the puts and buy back the stock!
Would like to partner with another company to avoid a catastrophic dilution. Get rid of existing management and give HIPP's platform a chance to finally make its mark. Maybe there will be light at the end of this long tunnel. GLTA
If IWM/IBB breakdown, GWPH fills gap at $48; then we have a good entry point! The real reason GWPH is going down is 1) I own a few shares at 70 and 2) I didn't buy the June 70 puts yet! GLTA
You can buy a lot of shares at 0.18! Hope I see the 20's again before single digits - you never know with this company. Maybe Ivan will loan the company 2mm in exchange for increasing amounts of future shares at higher prices - wouldn't that help for credibility and accountability - what a novel idea - it would be better than him and his buddies draining this poor company of what little precious cash is still left.
Missed a good chance to buy puts on this dopey stock. Hope it bounces tomorrow so I can sell my dopey shares and buy a June 70 put for under $6. Hate Cramer and his dopey pronouncements. GLTA
Bought more shares at 0.19 today - Hope there isn't any dilution coming soon - was on the phone w investor relations - shareholders see value down here in the teens and low 20's, but share the same worries about dilution, an overpaid mismanagement, lack of meaningful press releases, etc. GLTA
Still want to make $$ buying Puts on this dopey stock; Actually own shares at 72 and will buy Puts when I sell these shares at 75 or better. Also own TZA - this market is cruisin' for a bruisin'! GLTA.
What is wrong with this stock/company? I guess shareholders don't feel like waiting around for another 3 months to see if management has gotten its act together. I hope I didn't put good money after bad during the past three trading sessions. I feel lucky that I never took this company too seriously about buyout rumors and making great quarterly numbers. I've managed to trade this stock for tiny profits over the past six months - what a waste of money, time and energy. Prove me wrong Ivan/HIPP!
Bought TZA at 17-1/2 as a short term small cap hedge. Trying to confuse Murphy as in Murphy's Law!
I am the kiss of death with momentum story stocks! Go down you pos!
Bought more of this dopey stock as a sacrifice for my poor little May 70 puts that would otherwise expire worthless unless I owned more of this overhyped pos. GLTA
Great risk//reward at current price. 12-1/2 bottom should hold. planning on trading around a core position.
Options expiration may pull/keep shares at 70.
Had 3 chances to sell above $4 last week. Aggravated. Maybe NOK does come after them. GLTA,
Own May 55 calls at 2.8; 58 for B/E sb doable by Friday. Also own GWPH May 70 Puts at 8. Not feeling as confident about making a profit but anything can happen! GLTA
