Egh. Welp, off to do other things. Hope he releases a board mail if they decide on today. Watching PVEN bounce about is making me dizzy.
Seems like you could have made a tidy profit when leveraging people's tendency to gamble on presuming their ticker, although. Kinda wish I wasn't so conservative and bought in at .30ish with a couple thousand.
Pretty much all OTC companies are frauds in some way.
Eh, you keep an eye out and bail as high as you can when the suspension lifts.
50% isn't much of a loss for the end of a P&D, let alone a SEC halted one. I'd wager it'd be much more.
I doubt it ever will be. Introducing exceptions to the order is anathema to the process of bureaucracy. Just like how it takes years to execute someone who is very clearly guilty of spree-shooting or somesuch.
Which is good for people who profit off of these scams. Woot.
Anyone who bought in because they liked the idea of the scanner is a fool.
The OTC is for momentum/promotion day trading. Sure, there are occasional "lottery ticket" plays where a down and out company will have something real that skyrockets. But your chance of finding that consistently is the same as winning the lottery consistently. Stick to the NYSE/NASDAQ, blah blah ect. if you want to trade companies that have real products.
I'll prolly change my outlook depending on the 2014 Senate elections. As long as the congress has the ability to go "LOL NOPE FILLIBUSTER.", we'll have to hope for state-by-state acceptance.
Yeah, but when has anyone grasping onto the last vestiges of power made a rational choice? They're still trying to overturn supreme court decisions from 50 years ago. They're going to fight weed as hard as they can for decades.
Having a feeling we won't have good news on a federal level until the "conservatives" get out of the House. Which most likely won't be until 2020. Welp.
The last last sideways trading was longer than this. If we stay this way for another week or so. -Then- I'll be worried.
I bought in near the end tbh, I'm always wary about gap-ups.
A decent amount of people are here knowing it's a long(er) term pick. /shrug.
I don't think any pure P&D boards alerted to it.
Isn't their CEO a chiropractor? I don't trust chiropractors.
Have a feeling until we get news, it'll be too easy to manipulate via the spread.
Eh, if you look at the day-by-day volume you'll notice there's a decent amount of sub-100k volume days. I kind of expect as much since this isn't a pump and dump. (excluding the day Stock Mister got involved)
They tend to retreat for the summer, or have for the previous two years. I'm not sure if they'll continue to do that out of fear of pissing off the "Premium" members.
This is a May/June promotion play. Did any of you -honestly- believe you'd get another 100-200% gainer? I think all of the smart people sold the first day, bought the dip and sold again, then left.
APS won't do another decent pick until August/September, imo.
Kinda glad I was watching it only, and didn't buy in. A mailer campaign doing this badly is.... kind of sad.
Yep, definitely pleasant surprised that it's moving up decently without a news output.
I really need to go make a per share commission account with some broker so I can spam 100 buy orders to counteract the douches selling 100-500 at a time at the bid.
Also, better to miss a big run by a bit and to actually confirm it's going to run as opposed to being greedy and trying to stay in the baseline.
Praying for huge gains is like hitting the lottery. All the loses you take accumulate and will outweigh the one you eventually get right. Better to flip these things, imo.
10% loss doesn't seem that bad. I'd be really pissed off if I bought in at .20 and closed EOD in the .13 region.
Closed green with decent volume. I guess that's something.
Remember that one person can route through several MM's if they want to though. (Assuming they're using the correct broker)
Are the high tier alerts still going to be done through board mail from the other? Or is there going to be a split?
I think it's going to do fine.
Kinda wish I bought more when the whackers were being jerks at .975-.105. Oh well. Hopefully news then another steady climb.
Was more of a standoff. No buyers that wanted to budge on their bid. Yet no sellers that wanted to budge on the ask (outside of the occasional whacker).
Hopefully you averaged down a little bit during the .0975-.105 area.
Definitely looks like selling is over by the bigger guys, just a bunch of small fish selling their 100-500 dollar positions. Now we just really need some sort of catalyst like news or financial reporting.
Hell, I'm just happy to not see some jerk bid whacking 100k+ blocks. "Ooo, look, that guy is bidding 200k at .11, and the next bid is .098? HERES MY 200K!?!? BWAHAHA."
80% of the volume in previous days were big time whackers. Seems like they've either moved on or don't want to sell again.
I prefer no volume to mass bid whacking.
Yeah, kinda wish people would at least layer their sales if they wanted to take some profit. Don't be a douche and randomly plop down 30+k blocks at a time.
I'm just surprised that there was enough shares to borrow. Over the last couple of days they'd consistently hit the bid on 75k+ blocks.
To be honest, if you looked at the chart history, anyone should have known not to touch it during the promotion spike. Seems to follow a steady increase, then a spike. Then the spike drops, then another steady increase.
Seem like the "pro" strategy is to pump everything positive 100%, and then pray people don't remember the times you were wrong.
From the chart, it seems like it consistantly dips and rises, finds new support, spikes up, drops, repeat, ect.
Or everyone will throw up big blocks on the ask, stalling the price more.
