asnap,
Your posts are pure entertainment. HAHA!! You need to throw some $$$$ in there like you used to years ago.
LG's post might be useless for people who don't use logic, data, or history when making logical decisions, but I find his post to bring information that was not included on this board before. So, I find his post to be important.
Posts that are not important are the ones that do not bring any new rational data or information on which to base decisions. Perhaps posts like asnap's which have stated every time (at least since 2004) that something big is about to happen might be placed in the useless category.
Have any of you longs asked yourself why you attack the very people who are trying to help you see what is happening here? How long will you defend this company's actions? We are moving into the latter part of 2007 folks. This company has been making claims for more than SIX YEARS now that have simply not happened. When will you see the light? How long will it take? 10 years? 20 years? 30 years?
It seemed that Calypso Wireless had a window of opportunity a couple of years ago IF THEY WERE LEGITIMATE. Obviously, they were simply releasing a bunch of false and misleading press releases when in reality the company was nothing. Calypso Wireless is a fraudulent dream that has passed. Can you not see that? The only thing keeping it alive at all is a few people that do not have the ability to think logically using facts and past history. Open your eyes to what has happened over these last six years. It is as clear as black on white. All you have to do is see past your greed and pride.
Have you asked yourself why it is so difficult to get a financial report together of a company that has had no transactions? Any reasonable company leader and/or accountant could get the information together in a couple of days. Why does it take them months? Have you asked yourself these questions?
Actually, after doing a quick search on this idea it has been around since as early as the 1950's so patents written recently on the idea surrounding text-to-speech are going to be deemed worthless.
In all fairness, I was basically just shooting off at the mouth when I wrote this above statement, but in all fairness...if you do a quick internet search on text-to-speech and speech-to-text technologies and patents, etc. there is a sea of patents and information on this technology. How is Calypso Wireless going to be able to benefit from these patents when everyone else and their mothers have other patents that do very similar things? Who's to say that Calypso Wireless will be entitled to anything especially since they did not actually develop the technology. In order to license this technology they are going to have to show that their patents override the other hundreds of patents out there. This would take LOTS of time and LOTS of money...and all anyone has to do to trump the patent is to improve upon the method...this has been done already. Case closed for me. These patents are worthless just like ASNAP IMO.
The question is this:
If a patent was worth anything why would the holder of the patent sell it?
This type of technology has been around for at least 5 years that I know of. I'm sure it was thought of well before then. When were these patents written? Does anyone know any details on these patents?
So, why is Calypso Wireless not in court with T-Mobile? It sounds like automatic switching...??? The fact that T-Mobile and other companies are rolling out automatic switching products while there is no mention of Calypso Wireless speaks volumes for me.
They probably witnessed a computerized "demonstration" of ASNAP showing HOW it works instead of actually witnessing ASNAP working in the field.
Good grief! What did LG do to get banned from the board? LG is one of the most knowledgeable people here.
And where is $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$asnap$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ ? In the Bahamas?
Why should you pay attention to what we are saying? We have been correct!
If you look at asnap, for example, he claims to have loaded up on this stock at $3 (says he bought 300,000 shares at $3) and he has been positive on the stock and promoting it all the way down to .02. There have been many times where he claims to have bought more shares (hundreds of thousands of shares) while the price was going down. He has claimed many times that Calypso was doing this and that...nothing has ever happened except that Calypso has made claims that never transpired and the stock dropped down to pennies. If you would rather believe in someone like this then do that, but if you want to listen to people who have been correct on this company since years ago listen to us.
How long have you been investing?
I suspect not very long for you to put your money into a company who has no revenues, has at least one lawsuit judgment against it for $117 million (I understand there could be more coming), and has obviously put out false press releases. The history of this company is atrocious! Let's say you had a cousin who kept telling you that he had all of these deals and he was going to get millions of dollars in his company? He has told you for over six years about getting these deals and making all this money, but nothing ever happens. Would you keep giving him money blindly (while he loses your money and gets lawsuits against him for alleged fraud, etc.) or would you at some point realize that your cousin is using you and he may not be doing what he's supposed to be doing?
Go play the lottery if you want similar probabilities of gaining some money (you have better chances of being struck by lightning than winning the lottery). Truly take a look and see for yourself. Do you really know what you are doing? The stock, even at seeminly low share prices now can drop to pennies causing you to lose much of what you have put into the stock! It was just recently at .02! I suspect it will likely drop to those prices again fairly soon because this group of people is not doing anything new from what they have been doing for years. Take some time to go back and review this board and discover what has transpired with this company since 2001, and you may discover that you didn't know as much as you thought. Don't invest blindly into a company you don't know anything about. This is all I'm trying to say.
I'm just trying to help you. Why else would I be here? What might I gain from getting the stock to drop? Nothing, because I would never invest in this company again...
The thing is...
Billcoln, LG, myself, and others that are trying to warn you new folks about this company have been on this forum and analyzing this group called Calypso Wireless for years. You should take some time and read the posts going back for the last few years to really understand what is going on here. Don't lose a lot of money like many have done on this stock. We are actually trying to help you, and we are here because this is just an interesting human story being played out. I was in this stock EARLY in 2004 (or was it 2003? It's been so long I'm forgetting now). I doubled my investment and got out. I later determined that I should not reinvest because it became very clear to me that this group was providing false information to shareholders. I smelled a rat, and I still smell it. I must not have been alone since I watched the stock price drop from a high of $6.06 to two pennies.
I also see a trend on this board where people who can't spell or use proper grammar tend to promote this company, and people who can spell and use proper grammar are aware that this company is what it is. I find that very interesting...I'm not sure how this might flow into other areas of life, but I'm working on a thesis.
Cougar6,
What has changed? How much time do you think Calypso Wireless should be given? They announced their first "deal" more than six years ago.
Be careful with them announcing "field trial deals." They have used this tactic from the very beginning to keep this charade going. We have even seen fake companies (such as Franc Telecom, CGE Distributors, etc.) allegedly appear to give this company a "field trial" and nothing ever happened afterwards. This company has even announced specific amounts of money that was going to be made with several of these so called "deals" only to find out that no money was made. At one point back in 2003 they even put sales in their financial records only to have that erased later.
Think about it, anyone can come up with a business name and conduct a field trial and Calypso Wireless can talk about the potential sales of millions of dollars. Be careful ESPECIALLY if they mention conducting a field trial of phones because they have announced themselves that they have switched their business plan from developing a phone that works with their technology to just selling technology (interesting how they believe they can sell their technology when they failed to develop a phone with their technology, but I guess I'll save that for another post at some point.)

Remember the investors that were being rumored to be offering Calypso Wireless additional working capital last year? I responded to this in this post, and plus you may want to revisit the other points I made:
"#1 Calypso Wireless has swindled many investors so why not swindle even these alleged "investors" that are offering additional working capital? They could be investing for shares of stock that are valued at a very small fraction of the current value which will continue the drain on the stock price as they sell later. Or, it could be yet another statement made by Calypso Wireless that does not come to fruition.
#2 In many people's opinions, the patent is worthless. Even Calypso Wireless has decided to give up on trying to engineer a phone utilizing their own technology! Calypso Wireless has been threatening to sue companies for a couple of years now, but the only company being sued is Calypso Wireless. Calypso Wireless does not have the resources to take on the big companies. They even have said that in their latest SEC filing regarding developing a phone. So, what makes anyone think they are going to be able to take the big companies on in a licensing battle? DUH! In the meantime, there have been many products coming out with seamless roaming capabilities that Calypso Wireless has ignored. Where are the lawsuits?
#3 Sharma could be there for the same reason other players are there...easy money. There have been a lot of people who have come and gone with this company. I suspect Sharma will leave at some point also once he figures out what is really going on. Other people that added credibility to the company have come and gone quite quickly.
BONUS: This is not the first time we have heard rumors of "deals" with companies. The UT Starcom name has been floating around for quite a long time now. So has China Telecom, Franc Telecom, CGE Distributors, America Movil, Ecuador Telecom, Inversiones, T-Mobile, and LOADS of others. Those are just a few at the top of my head. I don't feel like looking up the others...All of this and no revenue. So, please don't be fooled if you really are new. Do your homework."
Is this company still announcing field trials? They have been doing that for YEARS! Although, I must admit, if enough people are caught off guard when such announcements are made someone already in the stock might make a little money off of the temporary ride up. I mean, they were able to get the stock up to $6 a few years ago by doing the same thing. I don't think we would ever see $6 again since many people know the history of this group of people (one of the cofounders was allegedly charged with stock fraud in Central America), but you never know we could see $2 or so again at some point (depends on how many new people have circulated in watching this stock that are unaware of the history).
Having said this, I don't personally feel comfortable investing my money in a company that has announced dozens of such field trials and agreements since 2001 only for ALL of them to never materialize. The only people making money with this company are the "executives" (by selling stock) and people who get lucky by selling stock at highs along the way. The sad thing is the highs haven't been very high the last few years and the stock trades so thinly that it is tough to make any money.
BEWARE folks!
Way to go, Bill!
Yeah, they've had how many "deals" now? Literally dozens.
"Subsequent to the acquisition, the Company changed it focus from developer and supplier of real-time video cellular phones to a developer and supplier of real-time cellular phones software only. Therefore, the Company has decided to not continue with the transaction and does not plan to acquire any additional ownership in RV Tech. Because there are no assets that meet the definition of capitalizable assets under SFAS Number 142 and RV Tech has deficit equity, the investment has been impaired to a value of $1. This impairment cost has been recognized as an expense in 2005."
So, just like that, Calypso Wireless took $1,000,000 cash and 1,000,000 shares of stock and declared it a value of $1 and wrote it off as an expense...LOL. INTERESTING!!!

asnap,
You were loaded up at $3.00. You are just down 49,999% now instead of 50,000%.
It's worthless...that's why the stock is trading at .02 now down from a high of over $6. There is a lot of research that you can do on this company if you take the time to read the past posts on this board.
You can find out all you want to about this organization by doing a lot of reading...review what all has been said on this message board. Tons of info to learn...start at day 1 of this board's creation and begin reading...have fun.
I wouldn't trust anything ASNAP posts because he has been caught in multiple lies in the past. He has no credibility.
Instead of Sharma saying that this board ought to be shut down as though he wants to play Hitler over the message boards, he would help Calypso Wireless by coming on this board and other venues and talking about anything real that Calypso Wireless is doing to help its shareholders.
He could talk about why Calypso Wireless can NEVER file its SEC filings on time.
He could talk about what steps Calypso Wireless is taking to help shareholder value.
He could discuss how/when Calypso Wireless is going to bring in some type of revenue.
You know, anything like what an executive should be talking about. Sharma should not want to shut this board down, he should use it to his good. I would say ANY discussion about his company would be a positive at this point.
What say you Mr. Sharma? No, I'm not Bill O'Reilly.
Dispatching all firefighters to the area...this one is on fire.
Yeah, and burning to the ground!
That's great if you bought it at .035, but you bought at 3.50!
LOL...yeah, massive buying.
It's raging at 5.5 cents!
Second quarter filing was due today...nothing filed and no request to file late either. Do you think they are still there?
I'm waiting to hear some "I'm sorry's" or "Hey, man, I appreciate you trying to warn me about this stock. I was just blind to what was really going on." or "Wow, your insight has been RIGHT ON THE MONEY this whole time, sugarpea29!"
Whenever you are ready, you can begin filling my mailbox with these types of sayings...
"Truth is all around us...all you have to do is accept it and you will be saved."
Ouch, I'd hate to be ASNAP...he's lost hundreds of thousands of dollars on this stock if what he says is true...
Poor ASNAP.
ASNAP, do you still support Calypso Wireless? I can't imagine that someone who has lost hundreds of thousands of dollars would still support this company.
It seems too good to be true, doesn't it? What do they say when something is too good to be true?????????
"Ian is counting on catching a ride with the announcement of the granting of a patent.
Quite true, the stock could rise (on a very short term basis) with such an announcement...but the trick is the price of the stock could also continue to drop while the patent office evaluates the patent application. It could take the patent office additional YEARS to finish their evaluation, and I don't think this stock will have barely any value left within a matter of months.
The company is going to have to continue to sell more shares of stock to fund it's "spending needs" which will continue to drive the share price downward.
I think this move on Ian's part is extremely risky with the chance for a payoff of about 5% at current share price levels (.075). I think the chances of the SEC shutting down trading is much more likely which could cause an even further reduction in the share price!
Good luck, Ian.
I personally would never make a bet with the probability of winning of only 5%. Of course, this probability is my opinion from the information that I have as of this date.
If the share price today were approximately .02, THEN the probability of making a gain would approach 40% in my opinion (again based on the information available TODAY). In my models, this price point (if we were there today) would be the best probability point for profit. If the share price drops from .02 the probability drops off again. So, no matter how you look at this thing, right now it just isn't looking too good!
I just still see much room for the price to drop..."

Boy, the price has taken the wind out of Ian Lee's sails!!! He has been quieted looks like...
Maybe he learned a valuable lesson. He thought buying at .09 was a sure win, but even at .09 a losing stock has plenty of room to drop, especially one with the history of CLYW!
Hope you didn't drop too much money in CLYW, Ian Lee!!! Are you out of it yet?
ASNAP = George Schilling
LMAO!!!
Aren't you guys meeting in Las Vegas when this thing takes off?
plaintiff,
Are you smoking that "stuff" again?
How can it be genious to hold on to a losing stock? Wouldn't the stock have to rebound to well over $2 or more before you would break even? Genious is knowing when to buy and sell.
If we were snow skiers, that slide would be a good one!
Deadman's Drop!
plaintiff,
With the share price at .05, I don't think you have to worry about forcing no volume. The share price has them in a precarious situation as it is!
Come on Ian Lee...I need a patent update! LOL...
.05!!! Do I hear .04?
In my opinion, the false press releases stopped because the SEC is investigating the company...
Wow...
.055 and falling. I wonder how close to zero the price will get to before the trading stops?
Did they buy the three for one special?
If they did, it should be given around September 24 I think is the date.
