BEDA's Short Volume for Today: 58.8%
20100527|BEDA|62721276|106586274|O
Obviously, this number doesn't take into account the 70 million afterhours T-trades.
I dunno if that makes sense though, because the company can only buyback 25% of the average daily volume which is obviously way less than 70 million shares. We also know that it wasn't any dreaded dilution. So really the only logical explanations are that there was massive short covering (most likely) or that it was just the MMs settling after hours trades. I would normally just say it was the latter, but 70 million shares is $56,000 worth. Not an insignificant amount of money. So, it has to be short covering, right?
Don't think that's possible. That 160 million share block went through at the ask at .0002. If it was the company dumping shares, it would've gone through at the bid. If that had happened we'd be at .0001 right now.
It doesn't make sense either way.
I can't believe that 160 million share buy didn't dislodge the 2s. That's kind of crazy!
What's the L2?
Only 1 on the bid. Ugh, really don't want to see any 8s today. The 9s are bad enough.
What's the L2?
And KC and rallybear, got your PMs but can't do a private reply. Thanks for the info, good to know.
Oh okay, somehow I missed that. I was going to be worried if he'd decided to bail on BEDA during the sell off yesterday.
We need news. BEDA is the only stock on my entire watchlist without any volume so far. I really can't believe it's still in the triple zero range at this point.
Also the board seems to have died for the most part. Where's Bruce?
I'm still stunned that BEDA reached this level, never thought I'd see the day. BEDA hit a 5 month low today and .0008 looks likes relatively weak support based on the chart. We need news right away.
Really no one painted at .001? Sigh.
You and me both. I could've significantly lowered my average cost basis with picking up some of those 9s. Congrats to everyone that managed to!
Volume is starting to stall out again. Come on, let's keep the big buys coming through!
Hope you didn't get shaken out of your shares!
Lol, what? Can you not read the chart? As was just mentioned, it hit .0028 on March 8th, which I also know because that was the day I flipped BEDA for 120% profit.
There we go! Huge 10,000,000 share buy just went through at the ask ($9,000)!
Let's hope and pray that the company is sucking up those shares at the bid.
The TA has been gagged for the past month once the buyback was started.
You would think that lots of big buys would be pouring in at these levels from everyone on the sidelines but that doesn't seem to be happening at the moment.
Huge support at .001 has been broken for the first time last since December. Ugh!
Frankly, I want to know why BEDA hasn't been updated to Pinksheets Current Information Status yet. The financials have been out for 9 days already. Wasn't there supposed to be an official letter from BEDA's attorney to certify them?
dew,
I think you and I are in the same position. I'm averaged in a little better at .0014, but I don't have any additional funds either. And I also need the money for some unexpected bills. It's unfortunate because I've been in BEDA going on six months now (literally an eternity in Pinksheets, I know). But I won't be able to hang on past the end of June at this rate.
It looks like it's at least a 2 and a half years old at least. First, the article references BEDA's old ticker symbol (BDRR) and most of Graham's comments are about the company's acquisition of Diagnos which happened in December of 2007.
We desperately need some news soon. These are the most consistent bidwhacks at .001 I've seen here since January. :(
Awww, I was hoping that was current news...
Interesting though.
What?
The buyback was initiated on April 1th. That was just 36 trading days ago. The average volume has been between 30 - 50 million on any given day. Assuming a maximum of 25% on each day, that's between 6 and 12 million shares per day (max). But of course, since the company can also just buyback on the bid and can't do any buying during the first or last half hour of trading, that also limits how much they can buyback.
The fact that you erroneously claim that BEDA has been buying back shares for 4 months shows that not only do you not know what you are talking about, but it shows that you are trying to deliberately spread misinformation as well.
From BEDA's March 31st PR:
Not only can the company buyback at the bid, they can also only buy 25% of the average volume during each trading session. That's why it takes forever. Otherwise, they could've probably bought all the shares in a couple days. You should know that.
I'm just hoping it runs within the next month or so since I can't really afford to have such a large investment tied up here for much longer (sudden medical bills). Any news regarding an updated share structure or current status on the pinksheets would be very welcome.
My problem is that I've been here since January and now due to some very unexpected medical bills, I kind of need the money within the next month or so. I'm not sure I can hang on here if the buyback takes through August and September at this rate.
Well, they can only buyback 25% of the average volume per day - which is around 2 to 6 million shares depending on the day. The buyback started on April 8th. So, today is the 29th trading day since the buyback was initiated.
Since the company say mentioned several times that they planned on buying back half of the float that's 200 million shares. Let's say we assume that the company is buying on the low end, around 3 million shares a day. If that's the case then it would take about 67 days for the buyback to finish meaning that it would be just about half way over. If they were doing 5 million shares a day it would take 40 days. If they were buying back at 6 million a day, it would take 33 days to finish - and it would be just about finished. The problem is we just don't know how much they've bought back yet. Some days is likely that they bought a lot (remember all those 11s and 12 a few weeks ago) and others they probably didn't buy any. According to the last PR, Graham stated that the company plans to PR the updated float as soon as the receive the certificate from the TA.
The problem I have is that it takes 4-6 weeks for the TA to update the share count. That probably means we will get an update within the next week or so, but even then those numbers will likely only reflect the initial burst of the buyback in early April. It will probably take several more weeks to get updated on the true new float.
BEDA can't purchase larger company's unless their market cap (PPS) is a lot higher than it is right now.
Ummm...NASCOW posted them when they went up late Friday night....?

I admit that I am surprised we weren't at least given numbers of the latest share structure buyback numbers. I will reserve judgement until we see a PR from them on Monday (hopefully) and BEDA getting uplisted to "Pinksheets Current" as well.
Key point...
"These financials do not include the recent acquisition of Texas Mobile Health Inc., which will be included in the June 30, 2010 Financials."
I have no more available funds unfortunately. Been buying shares for weeks now so I'm all in. We'll need a big burst of buys to break those stubborn 15s. Can anyone else slap the ask?!
Is L2 still the same?
We're gonna need some big buying volume to get rid of the remaining MM's. Hope we can hit 16 before news comes out.
He's the main MM on most of the Pinksheets/OTC stocks.
Prices are still cheap. You can always jump in with a starter position here. The more the merrier. :P
Well, everyone is waiting on news to hit. Practically no one is selling. Not to mention we're up 25% since last week on low volume. All you have to do is look how this thing is trading. It's taking forever to get filled at the ask which is usually a sign that the MMs either have no available shares or they are very low. This is why they keep trying to shake out the weak hands. The thing is, once news hits, you will see all the big buyers that are watching us now jump in with huge multi-million share buys that will crush whatever is left of any resistances. Check the chart for what happened once news dropped on April 20th, we ran up 40+% in a few minutes. Once news hits (probably Monday), the floodgates will open wide. Don't get shaken out. Trust your DD - great things coming in BEDA in the next few weeks.
BEDA .0015
BEDA .0015 All buys, no one is selling! Financials will be released by May 15th (tomorrow!). Updated share structure coming soon. Company is buying back half of the float. Several mergers and acquisitions planned as well. Check out the beautiful chart. HUGE BREAKOUT IMMINENT.
